I will have to agree. Typing in a character’s name for deletion isn’t something one does as a mistake when in a hurry. CS isn’t able to restore a single character, and brothers never qualify as a reason for using the ART tool. Sorry for your loss.

Once you clicked the package/item, did you check the ground around you?

‘Six snowballs are created on the ground around the player. They disappear after about 30 seconds.’

Also, remember, the snowballs only work on someone/something that is also holding a snowball.

Did you report said posters derailing the threads? Did anyone report you when you posted about one of the Devs? How do you know no one from ArenaNet read the threads in question? Many people post ideas or commentary about the game, and it is often conflictory. Whose ideas should the Devs implement? The 50% that like it?…or the 50% that do not? What about ideas that many are in favor of, but would be damaging to the health of the game as a whole?

Until we are in the Devs/Mods’ shoes, we really can’t know what goes on behind the scenes.

My only suggestion is to post in the appropriate CDI thread or whatever Dev-created thread is most appropriate, and know your post is read there. Good luck. =)

Well, some people say their servers are dead, some people from the same servers say it isn’t so. I can’t say much about the EU servers, as I use NA ones. Some people prefer servers with less queue, some prefer more people. You can guest to other servers in your region for PvE purposes, so if you aren’t especially into WvW, it matters less which one you choose. It depends on what you are looking for…. =)

Why do Warriors or any heavy profession get 3 choices, and light profession get only 1? I’m afraid I fail to see the logic behind this. Are you saying a Norn Necromancer hasn’t the muscle to don heavy armor, for example?

Okie-dokie. You did say ‘go make a new character and try to do mid-level DEs’. That said, you still should not have problems doing level-appropriate DEs, if they are not Group Events. Maybe some gear adjustments might help? Ask in map chat for help? Level in lower zones first? Just some suggestions. =)

Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter what your intent is, but how the name is viewed by others. If you can recognize what might come to mind when others see it, then you can also understand that some people might find it offensive. Many people are not that familiar with the offerings on Adult Swim. I am sure you can think of another name without such connotations. Good luck. =)

If your ‘new’ character is not zone-appropriate, then DEs might pose a problem. Otherwise, they really aren’t. Try keeping your ‘new’ character in the many zones available for each range of levels (for instance, the 5 starter zones). It works out a lot better that way. =)

I use maploadinfo and, at least, it makes the loading screens more interesting. One trick for loading into LA is to load your character away from the bank or the portals to WvW. It makes a heck of a difference.

It may be a function of being a new player. There are some functions in-game on a new-player cool-down to discourage gold-sellers. Such as sending gold/items in mail, or accessing guild banks, etc.

I don’t think so. I may be mistaken, but I think that mail is sent to a ‘character’ and not an ‘account’. What you can do, is take the things out and place them in your bank, as your bank will travel with you to wherever you end up calling ‘home’.

Edit: According to the wiki, the chest itself is Account-bound, so you can take it out of the mail and place it in the bank, and open it with whichever character you feel will be a more permanent addition. =)

Just make sure not to equip anything that is soul-bound on equip. Good luck.

No, it means you should use the email address associated with your account to log in.

I converted gold to 1000 gems just a few hours ago, so it’s not a global problem. It was working just fine.

This particular bug (completing the Hint Achievement) has been around since release. There have been countless threads about it. It is obviously pretty low on the totem pole of priority. It isn’t game-breaking, so I imagine they will get to it, well, when they get to it.

The obelisk only give one skill point per character, ever. It’s main function is to charge quartz.

Season 2 for WvW is coming next year.

The PvP armor from AP chests is only soul-bound until you deposit it in the PvP locker, where it becomes account-bound.

As to your other points…matter of opinion, some like the offerings, and some do not.

HoM pets are merely skins for pets already in the game. Purely cosmetic. Just like the armor and weapons. =)

The box will give you a full set of armor, either light, medium or heavy depending on which box you buy. It is a pvp armor only, and like all pvp armor it is for aethetic purposes only.

In the future Anet have said considering sharing gear between pvp and pve, meaning it may eventually be usable in PvE as well, but that is not set in stone.

I think the OP is referring to the PvP chest you receive when you open the Achievement Point chests at every 500 APs, if I am not mistaken. Not the ones you can buy from the Glory vendor.

@OP…I haven’t heard the Devs address that particular issue yet. =)

Hello!

The fact is that i stopped playing for a very long time GW2 ( i’m very ashamed but personal matters got in the way)and now I can’t seem to be able to log in after I changed my password and downloaded the missing content.

I have in my possession the serial code, current password, email and characters names (at least i remenber one). Note that i’m able to log in the guild wars 2 website but not on the client. Also how do I link my ncsfot account with gw2 account?

First, it is not possible to link an NCSoft account with a GW2 account.

I got the Achievement after about the third go-round with the Wurm. Just kept jumping. The fewer people around, the easier to see the shockwaves, at least for me.

That said, I got just as many shockwaves-jumped in the bigger group, as the smaller group.

Ive had my GW2 account since games release and just found my old GW account details. So I tried to link them and when I do I get a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error saying the webpage cannot be displayed. Please advise.

Considering its name, I would be suspicious. As far as I know, the only authorized way to buy gems are through the Gem Store in-game and Gem cards at authorized retailers. But, I really know nothing about that site….if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
