Well, the Government of Colorado says you may pay internet sales tax when purchasing, or you may not. But, tax is owed either way.

Are you referring to the Legacy armor? You are given a choice of Light, Medium or Heavy armor to fit the class of the particular character you wish to use it on. Depending on what class(weight) of armor you chose, you can make a character from that same class(weight) and use it on that character. If the armor has somehow become soulbound, I think you can contact CS for help. I am not sure, though, about when CS can/will help and when they can not. Sorry.

Maybe they just fixed its ‘bugged’ state.

As you can log into the forums, your password must be saved. Try checking your browsers ‘tools’ for saved passwords. Both the forums and the game use the same password. Good luck. =)

Except the ‘workaround’ does nothing for the ‘popping sound’ bug. I know, I moved mine when it was first suggested long ago. What’s worse is that this bug migrated from GW2 to other applications after a period of time. I wish they could find what causes it, and fix it. =(

Well, they do have tools to restore an account, but only for accounts that are compromised, and only after Dec. 1, 2012. I don’t believe you would qualify, sorry.

I am afraid not. The only real option for starting from scratch would be to purchase another account.

You can, however, delete everything and/or give it away. But, your AP will still be there.

You know, some people remark on how so many zones in the game are ghost-towns. Permanent zones. I wonder how much adding more permanent content will alleviate these concerns. Just something to consider.

Hmm…well, Dynamic Events aren’t hearts. Gems are gems. /shrug Not sure what hearts in SouthSun have to do with anything I said, or how adding hearts to SouthSun would be considered ‘adding new locations’.

We already get gems for play, so there is that one. =)

I don’t think leaving everything we have done in-game would be a good idea. Helping the displaced NPCs forever in Wayfarer, etc. and having them be simultaneously found in SouthSun might be kind of confusing, for example.

This information is a bit old, and clearly states it may be changed before actual release. As it’s taken straight from the forums, it might be easier to just link to the appropriate forum posts.

Just to avoid confusion to some players, you might consider updating the page the above link directs one to, as the instructions refer to the now-obsolete Support page, and the instructions for using said page.

Is there anything I can do to prevent being hacked again? I say this because I’m fairly sure if it’s going to happen it’s going to be soon. Like when Ascended armor crafting happens. Because I got hacked last time right as weapons hit.

Upon using the tri-color key on the chest I did not receive any of the random generated items that the chest is supposed to give out. These keys are difficult to come by and rather time consuming. Please reimburse me with another key and look into what is causing this error and fix it.

The new one after Living Story is/was WvW Commander functions and you can find it in the WvW sub-forum. That one started last week. Other than that, there are no new ones since inception.

But, it’s not in public, it’s in a game. A privately-owned game. Where everyone has the choice to play, dress their characters in armor of their choice, and boycott any armors they do not care for. I’m not sure how or why it would be considered part of the ‘public’ part of society. Nor why one would think that those not partaking in the forum discussions would be the majority that feel this particular armor is ‘indecent’. There is no more indication that is so, than there is that it isn’t so.

I have completed the 15 tasks of the wvw season 1 meta achievement and on the end of 1st season I didn’t get the chest reward from it. I still have the WvW Season 1 Reward Chest Key in my inventory.

There are many, many threads on this in the WvW sub-forum, as well as the Game Bugs sub-forum. So, yes. I am sure the Devs are aware of the issue.

They even stated that in the chat.

It looks like you took your character to WvW and just went back to the tutorial, to me. That is one way of doing it, I guess.

I think he wants a refund for the Runestones he doesn’t need…? I don’t think CS can help with that.

You can not mail yourself, but as stated above, you can transfer items through your bank.

Ha! It’s not just you. Something has gone amiss!

I assume you are on an EU server, as NA has no medium servers. You can guest to any other EU server to check out the population and such. If you do decide to transfer to another server, you have two choices. You can delete all your characters (make sure to place all non-soulbound items in the bank, as your bank will transfer with you), or you can buy gems and transfer your characters to the new server.

I only use my mouse to move, and the keyboard for skills and such…each to their own.

I had that anomaly once, where the skill appeared to be unlocked, and would not work, as well. It turned out it wasn’t unlocked, after all…just a glitch on the icon’s appearance.

You can easily transfer at no cost by deleting your character. Place all non-soulbound items in the bank, as the bank, account wallet and all account-bound items will transfer with you.

Or, contact CS, and they will investigate your request, as soon as possible. Good luck.

It does look like ArenaNet is filtering the messages now. Good on them for responding to this issue. =)

Its got me a little worried because i did not purchase the heroic edition.

It seems to be a glitch. It seems to happen to people you are re-instated to the game, more often than not. You have nothing to worry about. You can read about it in a thread in this sub-forum. Enjoy.

Ill post 2 pictures, and check for yourself, why i am talking abaut Old-New artwork and ingame reality….
The first is the original Sylvari concept, that was called “sidhe” (something like fey or fary). I really liked it. They look exotic, but still generally adventuring type.
The second one is a “new” reworked Sylvary concept, that is the current one. Its is also fine, buti its way to “cute” and “enchanted” . It does not look like a real “adventuring” character. More like a “for show”.
The last is the well known “trailer” screenshot, but i chose it because its still perfectly represents what igame is actually like compared to the amazing artwork.

Are you sure the second image is the new look? She just looks like a little girl in green clothes and somewhat leafy hair, and the redesign of the sylvari was what lead to the more plant-like designs we have now, with leaves, veins, bark, etc. She has smooth, pink skin and human ears, and…really just doesn’t look like a modern sylvari at all.

Kristen Perry’s article on the sylvari redesign[bad link] is no longer available, but I’m pretty sure this concept art is quite a bit older than it is. It’s kinda my go-to example for why sylvari needed a redesign.
