You know, in looking at all the situations with players and their different needs, I really believe the best course here is to wait for the introduction of the replacement armor set. From what I’ve been told, it’s going to be really nice. Please keep in mind we’ve already made it clear that Customer Support will try to resolve the individual concerns that you may have once the armor change is made. Each of you may have slightly different situations. But since the armor is not out now, and because we will be happy to address your concern after you’ve had time to appraise the new set, doesn’t it make sense to wait and see?

It was said the original version will be staying, correct? (For those who already bought it and don’t want to update/refund it) The original will stay for those who already bought it, but the purchasing was disabled, till the new one is available. Once the new one is available, is it going to auto replace the one we already bought/used, or is it going to be a completely new item/skin item separate from the original? Thanks.
I know I like it, and will be disappointed if its just changed on me.

Assuming you have the transcriber in your inventory, and still not able to interact properly with the obelisks, you could submit a request to CS, and ask about your issue (if the purpose is to obtain said credit). They may or may not give you credit. If you are just bringing the bug to the attention of the Devs, I’m not sure it’s very wide-spread, and there probably isn’t much time left before they are removed, but I’m sure they are appreciative of the report. =) Best of luck.

Hello,

For the start, im writing about my other account “Nata.2496”, which i cannot log into and there is no possible way for me, to write from there.

The thing is, that, when i reinstalled my OS on other PC, IP got reset and i had to authenticate it anew. Now the main issue is that on e-mail, bound to that other account, is somehow unable to receive an e-mails from arena.net. I CHECKED SPAM/JUNK/DELETED FOLDERS AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY EMPTY. To make matters worse, i deleted all other IPs via account manager, and now im absolutelly unable to log into my account at all, because authentication e-mail cannot be sent.

I already wrote one ticket and got automated message with “verify” page, that have “disable authentication” button greyed out. Is there any way that Arena.net support staff can disable authentication by itself, just so i can log into account manager via website, in order to activate some other security system, or can i at least get an e-mail changed to other adresses of mine which arent as broken as this one? Thanks in advance

Yes, CS can help you with those issues. You need to update your ticket and explain that the solution provided thus far is not helpful. They can, and will, change the email associated with your account (after verifying you are, indeed, the account owner), and/or disable your authentication. Good luck.

You may want to edit your two pictures to delete your email addresses, as it is best not to display personal information on the forums.

As an alternative to using NCSoft’s site, you could make a thread in Tech Support and ask Ashley to help you. She often asks people to post their reports there, or other options to get the information to the Tech Support crew. Or maybe try sending your reports in an email to support@guildwars2.com, I’m not sure if that address has been disabled, or not.

I find it interesting Support does not feel they are part of ArenaNet. Most enlightening. I will have to agree with the suggestion to review support responses. Much cut-and-paste that often seems barely relevant to the request/question at hand, redundant, out-of-date, or less than up-to-date.

Removed all proxy settings too. (dont know why one was running any way )

The items in question are only provided to those that purchased or upgraded to the Heroic Edition, be that Standard or Digital Deluxe. No need to contact CS. =)

Make sure you are using a device supported by the site pages, I’ve heard the page(s) doesn’t support (some) phone browsers.

So I’ve been trying to get this resolved for past 2 days and no one has gotten back to my ticket. When I attempt to log in to the game I get a message saying my account has been compromised because maybe someone tried to log in before? Well I’ve changed my password and sent the ticket because they still wont let me log in…. Are there anyways to quickly fix this?

When did you purchase your Digital Deluxe Edition of the game? Did you upgrade your existing version, or would this be the first purchase?

If upgrading, and you did so since late August, try clearing out your mailbox, and waiting a bit of time.

If this was a stand-alone purchase, make sure the purchase was not prior to the First Anniversary, or thereabout.

It is impossible to have a character name 20 characters long, as you can not type that many characters into the character name space. Either someone is mistaken, or having a bit of fun with us. =)

That’s odd. When I use stealth on my Ranger, the mobs always turn their attention to someone else, or turn back to yellow. I don’t seem to have a problem with my Thief, either, but I play it a bit less.

Remember to place all non-soulbound items in your personal bank, as that will transfer with you.

This is the best I could find: It appears that when downleveled, xp is modified by a (E+C)/2C multiplier (where E is the event level and C is the current character level.

Remember, formulas are not revealed, usually, by ArenaNet, but discovered by players’ research. If you so desire, you can make a chart or graph from your own findings, and try to figure out the formula. Best of luck. =)

Well, it does say the percentage of experience gained decreases on a scale with the difference between level and difficulty. They didn’t post the scale, but the example showed a 5.25 percent of total XP with a 25-level difference. I would imagine it went down quite a bit with a 78-level difference. So, the percentage is probably whatever 9,113 is of 254,000. Hope that helps. =)

Something to keep in mind: If you wish to transfer servers, it will cost between 800 and 1800 gems, unless you delete all your characters. Regardless of the method used to transfer, there is a 7-day cool-down between transfers. You might want to do a bit of research before choosing your Home world, to avoid any issues that could arise.

All characters (your entire account) will be associated with one (Home) server.

The requirement for Monthly cycle through, just as Dailies do. This isn’t the first time we have had ‘Craft X amount of Masterwork’ for a monthly. It means nothing as far as ascended gear goes, in my opinion.

I don’t know if any of this applies to you, but…

You need the key parts to unlock the door and chest. While a person with both key parts can open the door for players without, each player requires both key parts to open the chest for themselves.

If someone opens the vault for you, you can open the chest, but you will not receive the achievement for having done the jump puzzle, and if you do the jump puzzle before the chest resets; i.e. right away. You will be unable to complete the achievement until the chest resets for you.

Well, I only have a Quad-Core and Radeon 7640G, and I have no problems with the game or graphics. I use High settings, but not Ultra. I do have lower FPS in large zergs, but I think many people do. You can always avoid those, though you don’t really need great FPS when zerging a boss. Lol, everyone says you only auto-attack and walk away, anyway.

I play a bit of WvW, but usually not with a zerg.

You could always copy your .dat file, install it on her computer, and log into your account to find out how the game plays.

O…kay. Not sure what it is I’m winning, as the game seems rather open-ended, but given the choice to pay 20 dollars or enjoy 100 hours of game-play, I think I will opt for game-play. If it wasn’t enjoyable, I would have to ask myself why I am playing in the first place. Lol.
