That’s how I purchased my laptop for GW2.
I thought P2W was when you could only get best gear with real cash, and thus have an advantage over others. I must have been mistaken. Still, the game has been using the same model since launch and hasn’t folded yet; I guess it must be tolerable to a great many players.

So, I was playing at my friends house, I went to the toilet and he deleted my Sylvari Ranger
so could someone fron ArenaNet recover my character? Her name was Shyrala
The only way to recover characters is an Account Rollback. The only way to qualify for an Account Rollback is to be the victim of an account compromise (by hackers). A friend messing with your account would not qualify, I’m afraid. Remember to always secure your account when you aren’t actively using it. Sorry for your loss.

Some items/accents on armor are un-dyeable.
Items in my inventories don’t show difference between rarities… is there an option to turn on and off.
Yes, there is. You must turn it on to see it, the default is ‘off’.
I’ve gotten 8 out of my 9 scraps from farmed chests. (I’ve only been farming them the last month or two, and I don’t do the 20-min. thing…lol.) I think it all is just a matter of luck.
I believe there was a new one added to Divinity’s Reach not long ago. Have you checked all the cities, as well?

There is no way to bypass the 7-day cooldown.
Personally, I would think the happier customers would be more likely to support the game, rather than the opposite. There are surely lots of threads about quitting because people feel their ‘luck’ in-game is bad.
Not necessarily lag…a few people have reported this rather odd bug, there’s a thread here on it. I’ve encountered it, as have my guildies. Just some weird pulsing shot from nowhere. It only started happening after the last patch or so.

You must soulbind each piece for it to register as part of the achievement. Have you done so? Or just purchased them?

I’ve gotten a few from drops…not many. Mostly I just farm them.
But Cultural Armors have always been that price, so have nothing to do with ‘people driving the prices so high one can’t invest the time to go after them’.

Thread needs a sticky or a sticky with just all the examples in it so players can peruse for a match.
This has been happening to me since the last toxic patch. Once it starts, even out of combat the music will continuously loop, and sometimes even override the current score. Logging out to character select doesn’t reset it nor does loading a new zone. The only fix is to completely exit the game, to which it starts right back up again after entering combat.
It doesn’t happen every fight, but quite often, I’ll guestimate 3-4 times in an hour of farming(that’s a ton of restarting the game in an hour!). Curious if it might just be my install as well, is there a repair function?
There’s a thread on this….or six…but, I’m tired of searching back 20 pages to link them. I think even a Dev responded, but I’m not sure. It’s happened to many of us. For me, I’ve noticed it’s getting better, so it may just be a matter of time from when a person first notices it.

Check for the little white-leaf-in-purple-box icon on certain Vets and Champs. If it’s active, you will find Hallucinations, etc.
Killing them was/is part of that patch’s Meta Achievement.
Legacy Armor? You mean the one you get if you also played GW1 to a certain extent? Because you can get that armor skin again and again and again from your Hall of Monuments. So yes, it is permanently on that item, but you can reacquire that particular skin over and over again for new items.
I believe you are thinking of Heritage Armor, which is accessible in the Hall of Monuments, not Legacy Armor that is provided with the Heroic Editions of the game. =)
I’m not sure where you chests went, you might try looking in the bank. Also, you can buy chests for about 2 or 3 copper from the Trading Post.

Well, I seem to get lots of sigils no matter which kit I use, so I’m not sure it has anything to do with the Salvage-o-Matic.

About deleting, I would guess the message was, if you use the Heroic item armor and delete the character it was used on, the armor will be lost forever.
Not true, it happens in zones with no one about, as well. Regardless of graphics options.
I have 6 Level 80s, and I have not finished my Personal Story. Not because I find it boring, I don’t. I am just waiting for my SO to catch up. I have done Arah Story Mode, (much easier than I imagined…decidedly so), but, of course, it did not count as I have 2 or 3 more Personal Story episodes to finish first.

I am pretty sure I read a Dev response on this issue, not long ago. Something they are aware of and will be fixing.
I have had this bug…occasionally. Maybe 5 or 10 times out of the 1000s of times I’ve used a waypoint. I have no idea why it happens at those times, but I am not sure I would classify it as a ‘bug’. Maybe more of an occasional ‘glitch’. Sort of like when you cross the portal into Diessa, and end up on top of that tree there. Lol.
Well, I suppose the ‘hero item’ could have been the Hero’s Band. You did get one of those along with the Tome of Influence on Pre-purchase accounts (as well as other items).
From everything I’ve seen, some time after the First Anniversary, some reinstated accounts receive their first-time activation items, again (be those Pre-purchase items or Heroic Edition items). But, again, I have never seen anything on the forums about an ‘apology note’, just the usual new account welcome message….‘Thanks for playing Guild Wars 2’.
I have never heard that the Heroic items were given as a ‘sort of apology’, only that this sometimes occurs after being re-instated. I’ve seen mention of this ‘glitch’ in this sub-forum, and others, but never anything about an apology.
If it were an apologetic gesture…where’s my chest??? Lol.
