Zone completion rewards are zone/map appropriate. You get Tier 1 crafting materials from the starter zones. I find the experience is decent, but you will get better XP from zones at level or above.

You are speaking about separate accounts, and not characters, yes? Each of you has a different account name (email address) and password?

When you click on them, do they not ask you if you want them for PvP or PvE?

Any soulbound items remained soulbound. There’s a few threads around with Dev responses.

It only takes one report for CS to investigate. People that were not affected wouldn’t be able to add much to your report. Also, you should always use the TP to avoid being scammed….that’s why it’s there.

CS doesn’t usually do refunds for those kind of things.

Ranger, Necromancer, Mesmer, Engineer at 80. Elementalist at 79. Thief at 56. Guardian at 34? And Warrior at 11 or 13 or so. Oh, and an empty slot I might use to farm BLTC keys.

P.S. I’m a Ranger and have soloed up to Level 78 or so, in my personal story. Just saying it is possible to solo most of the content.

It is not possible because there is no Korean version at this time. English, German, Spanish, French voice and/or text…I believe those are the only options.

It seems, once you have completed the meta achievement, the textual notification disappears, although the aural one remains. You can add your input in the thread in Game Bugs, or Tequatl Rising if you so desire. =)

It is no different than finding the lost mementos in Flame and Frost. No different the Mariner plaques. Except for time. Try actually searching the maps…if you don’t find them all by the last day of the release, then use the guide. You would be surprised what you are capable of, and how much satisfaction you would feel! =)

There is a cooldown on joining a number of parties in succession. If you, indeed, only joined (or tried to join) one party, and encountered the cooldown, do report the bug.

You will need to update your ticket and request an Account Restoration. Customer Support are the only ones that can help you with that. Good luck.

I may not understand your problem, but if you have forgotten your password, it is the same one you use on the forums. That password is obviously saved in your browser and easy to retrieve using the browser’s tools.

Have you tried it? How do you know this? Just curious. Did it use up the splitter when you only received the broadsword and no skin?

Yes, I know what the wiki says. My question is: You have a single piece of gear, you put a skin on it, it now says Transmuted ‘Gear’; what happens if you use a transmutation splitter on it? You get the item sans skin, and nothing else? You get the item and the skin? The splitter doesn’t work? If the splitter doesn’t work, did using it on the skinned item destroy it’s usability?

I would do an experiment, but I don’t have several extra skins laying about that I would want to waste, much less back items. =)

Isn’t the point to make it take months? Maybe I am confused, but I thought ascended was supposed to take quite a bit longer than exotic, but not as long as legendary. I could have misinterpreted what they meant when the devs said that.

There are mob healers in the Scarlet invasions. So, sometimes the mobs do work together. That may or may not be the only case, I really don’t have any idea. Just that I have seen Twisted mobs get healed. So, maybe they are changing things a bit more in the direction you, OP, would desire. =)

If a legendary trinket gave my armor some kind of special effect I really liked, I would want one. How do you know, no one desires such a thing?

Out of curiosity, if you have an item and place a skin on it, what do you get when you use a splitter on it? The original item and ….? Or does it simply do nothing. If it does nothing, are you able to use it on something else, or is the splitter’s function no longer viable? There’s nothing in the wiki about it, and the information would be good to know to pass on to those that will inevitably have problems with it.

I am thinking if it doesn’t work on skin-only/items, a warning in the tool-tip might be useful. I am not sure.

It is a separate program, sort of. Awesomium.exe is it’s name. Perhaps, something is wrong with part of it. There are several posts about this or a similar issue in the BLTC sub-forum, as well as in Tech Support, I believe. You could try looking over there. Good luck.

Actually, this is far from true. Here is the Dev quote: ‘Tequatl will spawn in a similar fashion as the Clockwork Invasion. If an overflow is created within 10 minutes of the event spawning, he will also spawn there as well.’

If you were threatening people, as you yourself admit, then perhaps you were suspended for harassing or abusing others. Which would be an inappropriate form of speech. Hopefully, this will be a lesson learned.

I made a mistake I guess, I just got the wings of the Tequatl living thats going on, and I used it on my Sclerite Karka Shell because I didn’t think it trough, so basicly , I only got wings now, is there anyway I can get my Shell back because I also liked that item very much. I think u should be able to get old living back when u loose or screws it like me.
I really feel bad about this and I hope there is a solution.

You might try buying a transmutation splitter, that might give you back your two original items. If that doesn’t work, then sorry for your loss. Good luck.

I am not sure moving the WvW team off WvW would be the best idea. Pretty sure the fans of WvW think they don’t get enough attention, as it is. Best to leave them there, especially with all the new WvW tournaments and such coming up.

I am afraid I don’t know how to read those things. But have you tried speaking to CS about this issue? Letting them know you don’t receive the password reset email? Have you spoken to your email provider? Sorry about your troubles. Good luck.

It only takes me a few minutes (less than 5 usually) to download each new major (bi-weekly) update. Once you have the bulk of the game installed, you will spend very little time updating. Welcome to Tyria. =)

Perhaps, you could try one of the easier World Bosses, like Maw or SB or the Fire Ele. The starter zone bosses aren’t really that difficult, even for just a few people. Good luck.

If the chest is account-bound, you can place it in your bank, and your other character can retrieve it. If the chest is soul-bound, your character can open it, and the contents may or may not be account-bound. Not sure what kind of chest it is. You can look most items up on the wiki to find more information.

What you may have received are PvP skins which will deposit in PvP locker when you deposit all collectables. You may have also gotten other skins as rewards like weapons skins that once chosen you can draw from your achievement tab to use as many times as you want. For example if you pick the sword skin you can skin it on swords anytime you want. There is a bunch of other stuff too depending on your achievement points. These are rewards that started going out about a month and half ago or so.

You can right-click them, deposit them as collectibles, then when you are in the Mists lobby, check out your PvP locker where they will be stored as account-bound items, and use them on any of your characters. Even if you don’t PvP, your characters can wear them in the lobby and in any of the mini-games and such. =)

The bonus XP is an exploration bonus earned based on how long a creature has been alive in the world. Not a bonus from buffs or boons.

Not sure what items you are referring to, could you be more specific?

I love my Ranger and my Nec. They are my two mains. I have a level 80 Engi, as well, that only became more fun to play recently. (Got rid of the rifle.) Have a level 80 Mes, just don’t like it. I finally have my Ele (first character created) up to level 79; as much as I would like to love it, I just don’t like it much. My Thief, Guardian and Warrior are all under level 60 (just recently created them); as much as I thought I wouldn’t like them much, I do like them. Though, not as much as Ranger or Necromancer.

I don’t think your restrictions would work. What if someone is on a low-level alt, and waiting to see if certain dungeons or events might be available. They must sit idle on their maxed character just to peruse the LFG tool? As far as gear, I suppose you could specify you will be doing a gear check, and they can whisper you with it, or something. Not sure how you ping a build, but I never do that, so I may just be clueless about that.

Oh, and yes, player ratings are a horrible idea. Who gets to judge and declare ratings?

Are you saying when you block one character on an account, all characters on said account aren’t blocked? I thought, since everything friend-wise was account-wide, that it did just exactly that: Blocked the entire account.

If it isn’t working for you in such a manner, block the account name, instead of the character name.
