Remember, the counter on the mail is not always accurate. The mail queue can have a bug. Also, player-to-player transactions aren’t really covered by any kind of insurance. If your friend is lying to you, there is nothing that can be done. If you mailed it to another person, again, doubtful that anything can be done. If it just disappeared, you may have some kind of recourse. Whatever the reason, the only people that could help you would be Customer Support. Good luck.
This isn’t really an account issue. You would be better served by posting in the Game Bugs or Tech Support subforums. Good luck.
This page sums it up pretty well: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/
Since you are seeking help with Guild Wars Nightfall, you might try this page: http://www.guildwars.com/support/default.php
@mr…the price to buy Nightfall from the official page (NCSoft) is $29.99. =)
I am not sure I would have bought a second key before finding out what happened with the first one, but I am sure Customer Support can let you know what the issue is. Good luck.
Data mining has shown there will be a way to increase stack size. But, who knows if and when it will ever be implemented. I imagine it is a holdover from GW1. You would have hated the days, back then, when we didn’t even have mat/collectible storage. Yikes! =)
How do you know you won’t be one of the lucky few? Postive thinking, ya know! Lol.
I don’t remember exactly. Mid-fifties, I believe. I check the price of items on the TP, and if they are worth enough, I sell them; if they aren’t worth a lot more than vendor price, I salvage them. Except when out doing Scarlet invasions, then I pretty much salvage everything. Lol.
This sounds like an issue I have read about in the Game Bugs subforum. I don’t remember the ‘fixes’ for it, offhand, but you might want to post and/or peruse the posts there. Good luck. =)
I have seen on the forums that doing fractals below your fractal level rewards quite a bit of karma. I would not know as my fractal level is 1. Lol.
Lol..that’s true. It doesn’t say Guild Wars or Eye of the North, but and.
Oops, response came in as I was typing. Sorry.
I understand you are disappointed. But you were expecting rewards before you linked accounts and got that message, else you would not have linked them in the first place. So, that particular sentence isn’t really the culprit.
You stated above that you had done some research about getting rewards, and quoted this sentence: ’When I read HoM info page I read this:
Earn special Guild Wars 2 rewards based on your achievements in the original Guild Wars and Guild Wars: Eye of the North.’ What you should have put in bold was the word ‘achievements’. Had you completed the necessary achievements (including opening the monuments necessary), you would now have access to the 3 points for linking your accounts.
I am sure you will be prone to doing a bit more research next time something seems a bit too good to be true. =)
Well, you didn’t lose anything…and now you know. Many places have EotN for a very reasonable price. But, you should never buy a game just for some rewards, only because you wish to enjoy the gameplay within. If you don’t feel like playing EotN, then some skins won’t be too big of a loss, I am sure. =)
This may be what has confused you:
‘Q: Why did I receive 3 points for having “Accounts Linked” under the Monument of Honor when I haven’t done any linking yet?
A: When Guild Wars 2 is released, there will be a way to link your Guild Wars account to your Guild Wars 2 account. If you own Eye of the North, you will receive 3 points for linking the accounts together. The Reward Calculator assumes that you will have linked the accounts together, so it automatically gives you those points.’ Even though you have actually linked the accounts, the ‘free’ points you have earned can not be accessed until you can enter the original Hall of Monuments.
I am afraid you must own Eye of the North, and open your monuments to access any of the HoM points, even those given as a sort of ‘freebie’.
edit: This is probably the most important fact, taken from the Wiki:
’You will be able to link a single Guild Wars game account to your Guild Wars 2 game account at any time after creating your Guild Wars 2 account.
Only accounts with the Eye of the North expansion and who have unlocked the Hall of Monuments are eligible for rewards.’

Yes, you need to actually play GW(1) to qualify for the rewards. The rewards are for your accomplishments in GW(1), not for buying anything. Sorry about misunderstanding.
Thank you for being the voice of the silent few, or many; I’ve no idea what the numbers are. I hope there are more than just a few the appreciate all the hard work. I do, I get an enormous amount of entertainment and fun from this game. It may have flaws, here and there, but it sure delivers a great ‘bang for your buck’!
I, too, have not seen a bot in a very long time. Where are these bots you see constantly?
We do? News to me. Maybe you can find one of those speed groups, or something. The new LFG will let you specify exactly what kind of group you are looking for, next week!
Maybe next week you will find people that actually run dungeons just for the fun-filled experience. You can ask for that when you list which dungeon you would like to run! =)
On weekdays, I’m never in a party. On weekends, I always am. I can’t say I see any difference in the amount, quality or anything else pertaining to loot from one to the other.
The only way being in a party would help is if the party as an entity got credit for damage to mobs/champs/vets, etc., and I know that everyone in my party doesn’t get loot at the same time, even though we are the same class, hitting the same monster with the same weapon. Unless it’s a foe with guaranteed loot, sometimes one will get loot, sometimes not.
As this isn’t really an account issue, you best bet would be to post over in Tech Support. I am sure they could help you! Good luck. =)
LFG comes out the 17th, I believe. =)
Lol, I still have no idea what you mean by either ‘account-bound’ or ‘character-bound’. Do you mean the loot? The tokens? Are they now account-bound? I would assume tokens were/are. Again, sorry.
Didn’t some, or many, pets get a damage increase not long ago? I am not sure if pets are considered as minions.
In less than a week, you might not have problems getting groups for dungeons, in-game. =)
Also, I am not sure what you mean by ‘make dungeons account-bound’. Sorry.
If everyone goes to an ‘underflow’ map/zone/server, what happens when it’s full? Does it create an overflow server? Does it put you back into your own server’s map? Does the game pull you out of the underflow server if enough people log into your home server and enter the zone?
I don’t know. Maybe the new LFG tool will be helpful since you can ask for groups to do specific events and such. =)
I agree. I did a search, the function didn’t even give me ‘0’ results. It did nothing, at all. I had to manually go through each page of posts. Sigh.
Well, who knows how truthful people are on the forums, but here’s one: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Where-is-my-roll-back-or-even-a-reply/first#post2763204
Oh, and here is a bit more on the issue: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Tickets-for-Review-3-days-and-older-merged/page/76#post2766702
Nothing about it being wrong the first time; still, there are few details. I know I’ve seen others, but this one wasn’t posted too long ago.

I have read, very rarely, of accounts with more than one restoration. I have no idea why they were granted more than one, but you can look through the posts here, and maybe get some clue as to what the requirements are for a second restoration. Good luck. =)
Not sure. Did you follow these instructions? http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gw2.dat
My precursor (Dusk) didn’t come out of a chest, but dropped from a level 6 hatchling. I think I’ve only gotten an exotic from a chest, of any kind, once or twice. (Oh, I did get the Energizer from the Karka chest back in November, but it was only worth 30g.) They seem more likely to fall from mobs, for me. You just never know when that odd roaming beastie might drop something fantastic! =)

Make sure to scan for keyloggers, viruses, and such. Change the passwords to your account and your email, and always use a unique email account for your game. Good luck. =)
idk if this is caused from the removal of culling or if i just have settings off but, I have been having major problems with lag since about the time of the culling update. i rubber band all over the place, get hit by seemingly invisible enemies, and have even been in fights with enemies 15-20 (in game) feet away. i have all the ppl per area settings set 2 lowest but still no help. also like i said not 100% it is culling because i have same problem in fractures, however i dare not go into wvw. please help me with what this is, and if caused by culling, possibly have an option to have it removed or not per account?
This is something where you are more likely to find help in the Tech Support subforum. It’s not really an account issue. Try posting over there. Good luck. =)

Click the Support link, then Ask a Question. =)
Or you can use Services – Support – Ask a Question. Either will work.
Can't add more bank slots, give me gems back
in Account & Technical Support

This is pretty shoddy craftsmanship here. You guys won’t let me add anymore bank slots to my account (I’ve maxed out), but you let me purchase one regardless? I thought maybe the option to add one was just removed from the interface (used to have a lock beneath the last tab so you could buy another). So I just bought one from the shop UI, it mails it to me, “You already have the maximum number of bank slots”. SOOOOooooo.. why did you let me buy one then? What am I supposed to do with this now?
Please fix, seriously – why would you do this?
If you contact Customer Support, they will assist you with this issue. Top of page – Ask a Question. Good luck. =)
Um…nice list?
Oh, and the devs specifically stated there would be no Hard Mode. Sorry.
I love my warrior and hope to at least put in hundreds of hours. Can someone please tell me where to find hours played per character?
Just type /age whilst on the character you wish information about. You will get character age (in hours) and account age.
Lol, I have 0 hours on my Warrior, as I don’t have one yet. Congratulations on playing an awful lot of hours in a short amount of time. =)
Those with a dynamic IP usually stop having to authenticate after some time has passed as the authenticator eventually recognizes a range of IP addresses. You just may have to give it some time.
I am not sure just doing enough damage guarantees loot. I have solo-killed many a mob, and no loot dropped. I would agree that there must be a certain percentage of damage done to qualify for loot, if loot was going to drop, of course.
This wouldn’t be a forum or website issue. You might try posting in Game Bugs, or maybe Tech Support. Good luck. =)
Broken, yet again, for me. It worked for a short time, but now it’s broken…again.
I have heard if you change your browser’s language, it may help. I am not sure about this, as I don’t encounter this problem often. Good luck.
I have a lower-end computer, and my fps drops to around 2-5 (5 if I’m lucky) in heavily-populated content. It’s an MMO, so I can only expect there to be lots of people partaking in popular (at the time) content. It would be great if my fps was better, but I don’t have the kind of rig that can handle that. It is what it is. It usually doesn’t last too long, and even if I can’t see too well, I seem to get an acceptable amount of credit. It doesn’t especially bother me, because there is nothing I can do about it. This is all I can afford at this time. Just making lemonade from lemons. =)
I submitted another one 130910-000467, but they didn’t response me. So I created a new one, which is the one I posted earlier. So is there anyway I can get my account by contacting support, let them know what happened, then they can unblock it? I’m sorry If I’ve asked too many questions. I’m just really worrying about. This account means alot to me.
That ticket is also submitted on the 10th of September, which is yesterday. You should delete the second ticket you submitted, as that will only slow down their response to you. It has, at most, been only 24 hours since first submission. You must allow Support, at least, 72 hours to respond.
If the Gem shop is not loading for you, it sounds like an issue for Tech Support. You can try posting in that subforum, and/or reading through some of the posts there. Also in the BLTC subforum. Sometimes, the awesomium application goes a bit wonky, and the store won’t load. You can check your protection applications to make sure they aren’t blacklisting it, as well. I know Malwarebytes did for a short time. Good luck. =)
Your ticket indicates it was submitted some time on the 10th of September. It is only the 11th of September and early AM, at that, in Pacific time. So, it hasn’t been 3 days yet. You need only to wait for a response.
@mr….the legal US age is 18, not 19. It was 21 until 1973, and then changed to 18. It matters not, though, as Support will probably never been able to ascertain who did what with the account.
Again, remember in the future to never share any account information with anyone to avoid similar issues.
Thank you for the answer. I am 20 years old and i think my mom has no right to do this. Do I post my serialcode here? and yes, I did sent arenanet my serial code and everything in the question I’ve submitted. But what should I do now? I meant, how do I get my account back?
Never, ever post or display your serial code where anyone but you can see it. If you have contacted Customer Support, you need only wait for a response. Good luck. =)
