Fiery Dragon Sword - 10 Hall of Monuments

I really need to just finish Prophecies and get to HoM. It’s so hard to get motivated for that though, even with the guarantee of 6 points when I do it. I haven’t even finished with the Charr and moved on to Dwarves.

Actually, you could just level your toon to around level 10 or so, make your way to Lion’s Arch (the mission Gates of Kryta leads you to it), and then go to EOTN by taking the quest What Lies Beneath (given by Len Caldoron). You’re upleveled to level 20 for all of the EOTN content, so you won’t be too underpowered or anything.

The really good part about that is you get 2 heroes, Ogden, a monk, and Vekk, an elementalist for very little effort. Both are much better than any henchmen you might be using.

Yup! Plus, if you just go outside of that starting EOTN outpost and talk to Jora, you’ll be able to just run right to the Eye of the North (only needing to fight maybe six mobs on the way) to unlock a mesmer hero. Three useful heroes for minimal effort.

I’m working my way through the Shiverpeaks now. Based on my understanding of the map in GW2, LA should be just on the other side, right?

If you have factions then you can re-roll and be there in a couple hours if you have help. If you do all of the primary/secondary job quests, you’ll be most of the way to level 20 by the time you get to Kaineng. Definitely something to consider if that’s all that’s stopping you.

Would the minis I have on my level 12 Ranger be accessible to the factions character, cause that’s 5 of the points, the other one was from finishing prophesies.

A good chunk of us have no intention of playing a Revenant and don’t care.

I have no interest or intention in playing an Engineer, Warrior, Thief or Ranger.

Does that mean I’m allowed to say that Anet should stop focusing on these classes and show me the classes i do want to play?

Of course you’re allowed to say that, it’s just that they won’t do that, because that’s silly.

This may already be a thing

In the last beta weekend I jumped to all the cities and collected 6 transmutation charges. The first time I double clicked I consumed 5 charges. So obviously consume whole stack isn’t a thing, but it’s possible that it goes by multiples of 5, it is possible that a stack of 250 is one click. It is also possible it’s 50 clicks, for now I don’t know.

I would like to unlock HoM rewards that’s why decided to buy GW1. Here is my question: What exactly do I need to buy and how much does it take to get those 30 points? Maybe some tips, guide. Thank you in advance.

You should play GW1 for the enjoyment instead. It’s a great game.

I keep reading this, I have not had that experience at all. It’s actually kind of awful.

Revenant is the only information I actually wanted, other than Engineer, so I am totally on board with them concentrating fully on that class.

In all seriousness, though, obviously they’ll move on. Have they been lingering on any of the other classes after their reveals? They’ve told us everything we need to know, other than underwater, though I don’t expect anything much to come of that, so it’s done. They have no choice but to move on, whether you want them to or not.

has anyone done this just for the sword? and what did you do in overall?

You should play GW1 for the enjoyment instead because it’s a fun game.

This is not a universal truth. I’ve tried, I don’t enjoy it. I have to force myself to finish prophesies, though, cause I was given enough minis to get 5 points out of that hall and I have no intention of wasting it.

K? You can still look that way if you want. Those are just normal skins. You can also still use Sword/Shield while running Dragonhunter and you can basically call yourself whatever you want.

Since you’re not providing any lore or mechanics to back your claim of superiority, just an appearance that anyone with heavy armor can mimic, I see no reason to agree.

Warp Ports

Kal Spiro.9745

Oh, the Mists part. That’s just a theory of mine, because portals “seem” to tear through reality, and in between reality is the Mists.

Yeah, you have to set up the end point as well, and if it’s big, it might take months. ^^;; But defensively, that’s like the Panama canal, a short cut for airships.

Well, I mean they do go to the mists. Fractals, WvW and PvP all take place in the mists and all have a portal going from them to Lion’s Arch.

How they got the end point there in the first place I couldn’t even begin to guess, but they did.

Warp Ports

Kal Spiro.9745

Ok, so two things. Ask an Asura they’ll explain it over your head, but they’ll explain it.

The good guys aren’t the only ones with the ability to use portals. If they worked the way you’re describing they would not be an advantage because anyone could use them that way.

Beyond that, they aren’t interchangeable. One gate links to one other gate. It isn’t like you port into the mists then just randomly come out where you like. So in order to gain a strategic advantage you’d still need to get your giant gate to where you want your ships to show up. If you’re doing that anyway, why bother with the dual move? Why go to the Mists? Just wheel in your gate, turn it on and move your troops straight from where ever to the new location in one move.

Ultimately it’s far too unwieldy. That’s why Scarlet bypassed gates and just opened rifts from one place to another to move her armies at will.

I'd like dye on our backpacks!

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Kal Spiro.9745

Kal Spiro.9745

There are multiple ways to accommodate this problem. Don’t make all backpacks dye-able. Things like the Quaggan and Charr plush backpacks shouldn’t be dye-able. It would be silly. Just so long as they state on the item that the skin can’t be dyed it should be fine. For other things, not everything on it needs to be able to be dyed, just some.

There are a lot of back items that should be able to be dyed, though. There are other items that shouldn’t have ever been made because they should have just been dyed to become the other variant.

I like the suggestion for the spinal blade that they glow would not change, but the metal would. I think that’s a fair compromise. Just like the Toucan on the Zephyrite item shouldn’t change color, but that doesn’t mean the bags and boxes couldn’t. There are simply too many items that would work so well with a character if they were a different color, but for which there is no way to change that color.

This was done intentionally, enough said. The story takes place in the past before Living Story season 1 so it wouldn’t make sense to be in the new LA.

Also it’s physically impossible for the Vigil mission to discover Zhaitan’s forces moving on Lion’s Arch to be done in the new LA because that entire area of the map, from beginning to end, no longer exists.

Being in an RP guild will give you a better chance at finding people to RP with, but being in an RP server will probably give you the best chance. Regardless of what people say about Megaservers they do prioritize your server over others.

It kinda seems like you hate the game, y’know… if you despise pretty much every change that it’s gone through in the last year or two, then why are you even still playing?

I agree with OP, but my answer to your question is simple: Money and Investments.

I had a lot of issues with changes, from having double skins merged into 1 for wardrobe purposes to owning the same expensive dyes across all 8 characters (at the time) to the constant neglect towards the only game mode I enjoy, WvW. (which were all paid for in cash/gems)

Having played the game for 6-7 thousand hours and investing over $1000 into gems, it’s hard to walk away from that. Recent announcements about the expansion prices and further neglect towards WvW should make it easier for me to leave though and I look forward to that day where I can start investing my money on stable products where I know what I purchase with real money isn’t stripped from me without a refund.

It’s actually really insulting, you wouldn’t like to pay for a new PC and all it’s features only to have an update that renders most of what you paid for invalid.

Except they did offer a refund on town clothes.

When did I mention town clothes? Could you be so kind to make it in bold where I said that?

It was in the OP, and obviously a main complaint for the OP. It’s at least one instance in which real world money wasn’t stripped from people. I also remember them refunding double skins, btw, which you did mention.

Oh the OP said it…. Anyway.

Yes those refunds, I received one for owning multiple commander tags, was given some digital money after using real life money to pay….

My issue is mostly about skins, having put $100 into the game to make duel Infinite Light skins, and another $50 to craft a second Foe Fire essence….. I would continue but this is getting off topic for what I’m assuming is for argument sakes. (I don’t know how anyone can argue another persons personal experience, but people find a way somehow)

My point still stands in my first post: Money and Investments.

You paid with gems, you got gems back. In theory that means the next time you buy something you don’t have to pay real money.

To be clear, you did NOT buy an outfit from the gem store with real money. You bought it with gems. If you spent $1000 that means you’re buying gems anyway. You get gems back which means you save money the next time you want to buy.

So you want to argue this? ok.

I went to Timezone, I paid them cash for Timezone Card which would allow me to play their games, shortly after purchasing the card they turned off all the machines which means I can’t play any games, I take the card back to the retailer but he simply states “you bought the card with your money to play games, but we can’t allow you to play games, but atleast you get to keep the card until it is expired at the end of the day, you’re welcome to come back tomorrow to purchase another card after we have updated our systems.”

but again: My point still stands about not leaving the game, Money and Investments. feel free to pick apart another sub-text of what I have written though, for the sake of arguments and internet win points

Gems don’t expire, therefore your Timezone analogy doesn’t make sense. If the card would always be an option, that you could buy it then use it forever whenever you fancied on whatever was available to use it on, then it would be acceptable. Since the very premise of this analogy is that the card expires it is intrinsically flawed.

That’s why Terrible Analogy is Terrible.

Also, you did not invest in the game. You spend $1000 on a transaction. You spent money and received gems. That is a transaction, not an investment. People keep claiming that they have invested in the game, they haven’t. You can’t. Guild Wars isn’t publicly traded. You can probably invest in NCSoft, and possibly in ArenaNet, but not in Guild Wars. All you can do it spend/waste time and money on the game.

So yeah, those were things that happened. I remember them.

I lost my blue SAB backpack just before Wardrobe.

I never bought expensive dyes for more than one character because too bad.

I miss my town clothes.

I made an alt specifically to run through the trait revamp. It was not ideal.

I guess I’m glad I’m more casual. Yet, as a casual, with a full time job, I still managed to complete every achievement meta in Season 1. The only one I didn’t complete was the Aetherblade one and that was because I didn’t care and didn’t participate in it at all. If I had wanted it having a full time job and only playing a couple hours a day at most would not have been an imposition.

I did not get affected by Fractured.

Because of how character builds work and the game in general, really, you have never had your character made useless. There has never been a time that you couldn’t respec your build if you really felt the need. It has only gotten easier to do.

I’m a Veteran and I haven’t survived, I lived. Survival isn’t good enough.

I might, but probably not. I also might buy more skins if they were armor skins and not outfits. I’ll never buy an outfit because it is the antithesis of what I’m looking for in a skin.

I agree with this. Wait to get the third birthday thing, then yeah, there is probably no reason to keep the character if it’s not what you want. Even if it was a higher level, there is very little that is character locked anymore. The only thing you might lose is any crafting recipes you consumed.

Do make sure to strip the character first, though. Sell whatever is soulbound and store whatever is account bound.

50 pages, with multiple comments made by the devs, the latest outright stating that they need to change rather much issues in order to get it to work at all. Work that no company in their right mind would do while working on a major release.

You mean 1 right? That’s multiple? I have not dug through the thread (again), but I only seem to recall one made by Gaile Gray.

Please stop lying. Thanks.

“I haven’t bothered to confirm my stance, but because of my lack of new information I know better and you must be actively deceiving.”

Well done, sir. That is an amazing example of willful ignorance. Especially considering that the information you’re missing exists on this very same page and you wouldn’t even have to go searching for it. Colin posted on Reddit within the last month and that information is kindly reproduced here in this thread.

Two is, in fact, multiple. Even if it somehow wasn’t I believe there is at least one other post somewhere in this massive thread saying more of the same.

It was used to market the game. It is still being used to market the game.

If it only represented intentions that did not survive the realities of going live then it should no longer be used to promote the game on the official site in my opinion. If GW2 is ever going to get past the manifesto it should be removed from current marketing use.

People complain about players continuing to bring up the manifesto but Anet has never stopped using it.

In what way is it specifically being used to market the game? As a whole, or specific parts that happen to exist within it are also still be used as selling points? Are those specific points inaccurate? In what way?

I really don’t think ANet is going around saying, “Hey, are you looking for an MMO? Well here is a three year old list of dreams we had in how we wanted our game to be developed three plus years ago. You should get the game this thing references, if not 100% accurately.”

That is all it ever was. It’s not gospel and anyone who thought it was is naive. It was a list of dreams they hoped they could pull off. No list of that nature is infallible, nor will it ever be entirely realized. Three years later we really need to let it go.

If we were ever allowed to forget it, possibly. But someone brings it up again in some form in unnecessarily small increments of time. Even monthly would be too often for something that’s really not relevant to the game three years later, but I suspect weekly or daily is more accurate.

Mary Sue writers can take lessons from the peeps who wrote the personal story. I like how some “fixes” came in lately. First time you get to claw island, Moronurne goes on about how he studied Orian creatures for years. Then in the “dream” where you and him gets taken to Orr, he goes… or at least, used to say something like; Oh Mother, they are horrible. I have never seen such creatures.

Wait… what have you been studying then?

Now he says something like; oh, those things are formidable.

Sorry, Anet, but that does not fix this pathetic character, or this very very bad storyline. You need to do a little more than that.

Plus… knock-backs! REALLY! You had to give him…. KNOCK-BACKS!??

He still tells you how he’s been studying Orr for years, and the first thing he says in the dream is still basically, oh look we’re in orr, look at all the undead that are in orr. When he says the bit about not having seen them he’s talking about the fantom weapons that are only in very specific locations in Orr.

He couldn’t possibly have pushed into Orr as far as he would have needed to see them all by himself. He’s only ever been on the outskirts of Orr before this. Despite that he’s still more well informed than anyone else aside from Zhaitan.

Ugh GW1…

11,000 hours, 50/50, everything… hated the game after two years. It was too easy and simple for my tastes. But if you need anything let me know cuz I got stuff!

Got any of those armor or weapon pieces that are oh so important. Thanks to another super helpful forum goer I have minis down, but I’d love to get anything else that is primarily a situation of gold out of the way too.

I don’t even want 30 points, I only want 21 points so I can get the raccoon mini for my ranger main.

- He quite literally takes credit for everything you do.

He literally takes credit for only one thing as far as I’ve seen, and that’s purely because it’s a case where he HAD TO. Otherwise, he and Destiny’s Edge credit you with everything.

My last story run through, at one point my character was told “Charr, Norn, and Sylvari are singing songs in YOUR PRAISE/honor.” Not Traehearne, My character.

To OP. His introduction was weak, but the bulk of the hate comes from people jumping to conclusions and not actually paying attention (which is where this credit stuff comes from). Some people demand that they be commander of the pact (despite the fact their character is literally an unknown figure for the most part, where Traehearne is respected by the three orders already), and focus purely on that.

His introduction was weak and the reason he was chosen was weak. It wasn’t because he was the best or first choice, it was because the the orders couldn’t choose a leader from amongst themselves because they were afraid of favoritism.

“Gixx: Logic dictates that it cannot be a member of any of our orders, lest one be seen as above the other two. Quite a conundrum!”

In other words, in spite of the need to pull together and select the best amongst themselves to lead, they were forced to choose a scholar with no military training because they were unwilling to commit completely to what needed to be done and were afraid of in fighting. Not the best choice or for the best reasons. They could have chosen a leader amongst themselves and had him as an adviser.

No they couldn’t, because if they did ANet would have had to effectively written three different stories from that point forward dependent on which Order you joined. Then your Order might actually matter and people could have widely different experiences. It would be uncontrollable madness.

I tell you all what. The way Trahearne was given the role of Marshall and does practically NOTHING but stand there and make decision based on Players feedback is what kills his character.

As for taking credit, I am not bothered by it. He even said as it was all thanks to the players that Zhaitan was defeated. He didn’t tell the whole world it was him that took down Zhaitan. And it was reflected in the ending cut scenes where everyone else acknowledge that you the player is the one that took down Zhaitan.

Now, the think it with HoT, I think Trahearne is actually a mole of Mordremoth that was sent to kill Zhaitan. Mordremoth had already sent Scarlett to wake it up. So, it is possible he also sent Trahearne to make sure the big bad leader of the Elder Dragon is dead before it awakes by Scarlett. Isn’t it weird that Scarlett only appears AFTER Zhaitan is dead? Why wait until Zhaitan is dead? She could have do all this things when Zhaitan is still around, but that would tipped Zhaitan about Mordy’s plan and Zhaitan would have make it’s move first on Mordy.
And it was never mentioned or said that the Elder Dragons are buddy buddy with each other. They may be at war with each other too.

Sorry, but this doesn’t work thematically. Trahearne is a first born. He is one of the first handful of Sylvari that the Mother Tree ever created. If he was actually working for Mordremoth she would have been able to sense it, especially considering how close they were during so many cut scenes.

While it’s an interesting conspiracy theory, it’s not feasible.

Just buy them. Even if they do bring them back in some way it won’t be any time soon. If you really want to look, just buy it and be done with it.

If they ever figure out how to remake Season One as a stand alone personal arc then it would be reasonable for there to be a series of fights with the guardians and for them to have a chance at dropping the cores. Other than that I don’t really see any meaningful way to reintroduce that particular item.

Traeharne ?!?

Kal Spiro.9745

I am shocked to find out that a lot of people dont like Traeharne, besides Tybalt those are the only 2 npc from the main story i like. tell me the reasons you dont like him i am curious.

Ps – Anet dont kill him , if you must kill him give us an option to spare him.

Personally i like him, he’s a good guy.

But most people seems to hate him because he is the leader of the Pact, while the player’s character is only the second in command. Basically, they are jealous of him because they feel he’s undeservedly stealing their spotlight. XD

It has nothing to do with jealousy. He was an unknown. The PC does all the work then you go before the Tree Mother and she gives the job to him instead of who should have been made the leader. That’s not jealousy. The story makes no sense at all. Why the heck is the tree mother chosing instead of the Pact voting.

Personally, I do not like how the story was written in the game. I avoid it by skipping through it all.

Jealousy seems to be exactly what that is. He’s given the thing, but you want the thing and think it should have been given to you. You realize that if you were the one in charge of the Pact that you couldn’t just go off and adventure and do as you please, right? Trahearn is doing things behind the scenes while you’re just completing a handful of missions.

The reason everyone just does what the Mother Tree says, and continues to do it through Season 2 of Living World, is because she is a mystical being that is not entirely bound by time and space. She can see possible futures, and the future in which Zhaitan was defeated was a future in which Trahearn, one of the First Born, was the leader of the Pact.

It really does seem to be a disconnect between expectations and the stories that ANet writes. GW is a story of amazing events occurring around a group of adventurers, with an extra unnamed adventurer following along witnessing everything that happens. That’s why Kormir becomes a god instead of the unnamed and unknown witness. Because that story was never about you.

They tell a similar story here. You’re a much more important person in the GW2 story, but you’re still basically a witness to the adventures of other people. It wasn’t until Season 2 when ANet came to the conclusion that people’s egos were getting bruised that anything changes and suddenly, inexplicably, you were the leader of DE2.0. Even though by all accounts Marjory should be the leader. It’s her detective agency and she’s basically the one that brought everyone together, even though you met some of them first. You do the heavy lifting, but she has the know how, yet they all defer to you now, because some people just needed to be the ones in charge that everyone answered to.

Personally i don’t like him because (summed up):
- Some of the most terrible voice acting i’ve heard in any game. Even picachiew has more depth and feeling then him.
- He quite literally takes credit for everything you do.

I highly recommend going through it again. Since the last major patch, with the Lion’s Arch revamp and the re-restructuring of the personal story, they brought in the voice actor and had him redo a lot of lines. No more Clor Island, and there is a bit more feeling behind most of his lines.

I never had a problem with him. I won’t say I liked him, but most of my problems with him were entirely mechanical and not his fault. Things like leading the way at a walk, but if you get too far ahead of him he thinks he’s left you behind and stops moving waiting for you to catch up. That’s a big pain. His almost complete inability to wield Caladbolg even halfway decently is frustrating, but that’s only because I got to wield it as a Sylvari so I know what it’s capable of. I will say, though, that he seems to have gotten better at it. I’ve been running all my characters through the PS and he’s actually been somewhat helpful with that sword and even used all of the skills.

His personality never jarred me. He’ll never be as good as Tybolt, and he’s a lot easier to like if you played a Sylvari, but he’s not bad either way.

He has never tried to take your thunder. It was always made clear that he would lead the Pact. You are specifically working to put him in charge of the Pact. Then when he’s held up and you ask if you’ll be working for your Order leader, not even for him, he says no, you’ll be second in command of everything, effectively above the chain of command. Then at the end when you’re trying to tell him how great his achievements are he says that it was you that did it all and that as long as he’s the leader of the Pact he’s going to make sure everyone knows how great you are, not him.

Hall of Monuments Update?

Kal Spiro.9745

This.

If you are going to remove access to something for which people have paid it is a good idea to keep them in the loop to a greater degree than we are seeing here.

If one or two minutes a week spent giving Gaile an update that she can post here negatively impacts development to an appreciable degree then Anet really needs to look into their staffing, management, and processes.

Except that no one have actually paid for HoM access.
We have paid for GW1 access, nothing else. Heck, when I paid for GW1 it didn’t even give access to stuff in GW2.

Yes, they could give updates once a week, but wouldn’t it be completely pointless to just keep saying: “We are working on it, no ETA at this time” week after week?
People actually complain like mad about updates like that, because they are “just writing something because we whine, but they aren’t telling us anything!!”

HoM access, and its contents, has been declared as an official benefit of buying into GW1 and linking it to one’s GW2 account. People have bought GW1 specifically for the declared HoM rewards. If you pay for X which is described as including Y then you have paid for Y.

I’m one of them. I can’t stand GW1, I really wish I could cause I would have more in HoM, but I really only bothered because I was guaranteed to get something out of GW2 which I had already preordered by that point.

Some day I might actually be willing to put in the work to get up to 30 points and get all the substantial rewards. It would be nice if they were accessible.

That being said, no, it wouldn’t be worthwhile if all they were going to tell us is “No ETA,” but that’s really not what we’re talking about here at all. We’re talking about a situation where they claimed it was getting finished, they said close. Well every day it’s not done, after a month, makes that claim less and less reasonable. So any kind of update would not be the same as telling us more of the same.

“We’re still on track, but were maybe a little over zealous in our initial estimates.”

“There is a snag and we’ve been held up on a specific issue.”

“It’s done, we just haven’t decided on a release date.”

“There was a delay in production due to a sudden need to shift resources.”

These are all perfectly reasonable responses, and no, most of them won’t get the best reception, but at least we’d be informed. I would rather be informed. Based on your consistently vehement rejection to the very nothing on being kept informed I assume you would rather live in the dark with only occasional tantalizing glimpses at something resembling light. That’s really not for most people.

And will people really accept a paragraph that potentially say: “We found an error with the solution so we had to go back to square one again, and currently don’t know when it will get fixed”? I find that highly unlikely.

Reporting stuff before there is something to actually report is usually rather pointless and just creates rage and anger.

I could really care less what you find likely. I know that a bunch of people will kitten, because people on this forum will kitten about literally anything. It doesn’t change the fact that knowing is generally better than not knowing. Being a company that informs its clients would be appreciated, even if they have to be careful about how they phrase the information.

Correct, but at this point, there is something to report. That is a better clarification of what close meant, or an explanation that something changed. Or a possible third option, it’s done and they’ll be implementing it in an upcoming patch with some other stuff.

It doesn’t make sense because we don’t need to know every single thing that ever happens.
I am sure that Gaile have plenty of other things to take care of other than giving us updates 5 times a day on the same issue.

And we also all know how people here react to delays.

You’re exaggerating at an absurd level. We don’t need updates 5 times a day. That’s not a thing, and no one is asking for it. Even once a week might be a bit much. When the answer is, “We don’t have an eta yet,” then any amount of time is really available.

This isn’t any of those things. This is them saying it’s nearly done and then a month later there is still nothing. It’s about time for another update. When it’s practically done then more updates are prudent. I know ANet has a policy against communication, and I know why, because we’re just terrible all the time. But I think it’s a bad reason and a bad policy. Keeping us informed is better than leaving us in the dark, and since they have a team whose entire purpose in the company is to do just that, they should utilize them more for their purpose.

It doesn’t take that long to write a paragraph, or even just a couple lines to explain where certain things are. I don’t need a play by play, but when the situation changes it would be nice to know.

Falling Traits Feedback [merged]

Wow… Guys, did anyone you actually get past that one word? How about reading the kitten thing, then commenting. You seriously missed the whole point.

1) It is very limited in value, regardless of all the WvW people using it.
2) If the ability is rolled into actual gameplay it has no value at all.
3) In every case it is taking up 1/3 of all the available traits for that line and tier. If you want to use that trait, now, it is also taking up 1/3 of all your trait lines since you have to run that line too. We have extremely limited options and would be better off with something that impacts combat than something like fall damage reduction.

Would you seriously have an issue with the removal of fall damage reduction if that was just a straight game mechanic?

My only complaint with this is that it’s very much not lag friendly. It can’t be.

About a month ago they were “close.” But what is close? What does that mean? Just like in all things there is only so much tether. Close, to me, means under a month. Past a month you weren’t close, you still had a lot to work through, or you were seriously underestimating the effort needed. If they get to two months then close wasn’t even in the ballpark and they need to give us another update to let us know why it’s still taking so long.

Or maybe, just maybe they were close, but something came up in the last round of testing that would have broken stuff even more and thus they couldn’t release it?
Should they post here every single time something changes? Then they will not have time to do anything other than keeping people updated here. Things happen, that is just the nature of programming.

Point still remains that they have communicated quite a bit with us about this issue, and yet people still claim that they are telling us nothing.

Um, actually yes. That’s why they have Gaile. Gaile isn’t doing any of the work. “Hey Gaile, we ran into a snag. Let them know on the forum that it’s going to take longer than we thought. We were close, but something came up. We don’t have a time table, we’ll let them know as soon as that changes.”

“Sure, no problem, that’s what I’m here for, communicating with the community so you guys can continue to do your work.”

Does that not make sense for some reason?
