I wouldn’t say that the Devs don’t care, they just can’t really do anything right now until the season is over. They tried a different type of scoring and it didn’t work like they intended. I’m fairly certain they will try, yet another, scoring system for season 3.

I think we should all transfer to the last place server and have them rise up from the ashes for season 3.

Don’t you worry, you will all get your mistforge weapons, . Sure 2v1 happens, but even if it isn’t THOSE two vs THAT one, it still happens when those three don’t face each other, just not in an blatant way.

The seasons really brought the crap to the surface. Lots of smack talk and a lot of servers teaming up to bring down the top dog.

Hardest: Probably grawl. Not that it is particularly hard but it can be a big PITA depending on your party comp. IMO, it is also the most well crafted fractal.

Dredge just sucks at high levels, it is not hard, the dredge carrier just have 389087097 dredge inside it.

If you want to experience all the mistlocks then there are some that you will wish you didn’t get certain fractals, but they are all doable. You can stay in “safe” levels to level your personal rating. Generally, I see people run: 32, 36, 38 (for the 30s bracket) and 49 for the (40s bracket).

Now may be a good time for everyone stressing about the TP to log out, stretch and relax a bit.

Not needing to do fracs anymore is the best part of GW2 for me. So much dissapointment avoided.

I do call it my daily disappointment run. I might take a couple nights off from fractals because it has been so bad lately. I am a goodluck charm for my party though, 9/10 someone in my party will get an ascended chest or a skin, while I’m at 49/51 runs of nothing more than a ring. What a cold streak.

That is BS, I’m sorry for your run in with a jackhole. Whenever I’m in a fractal run and someone DC’s I usually just post in LFG for free loot. I don’t even think about selling the spot.

Go EotM or dungeon runs.

I agree with OP. If these materials can be farmed just by playing pvp, why shouldn’t they also be farmed by only dungeoning? I think you should be able to either get it all from one place or split it up. Give us more options!

Got tooth of frostfang from a chest in ACp1. Sold it because I hate the frostfang skin, but made the Kamohoali’i Kotaki with the profit. People laugh when they see that I made a legendary underwater weapon, but when the ghost shark animation comes up, it just puts a smile on my face.

Get 4 people into the cage (5th is at the second button opening the door), clear one side leaving the vet alive because he has more health than the final boss. 1 person stands on the plate, 1 person is on the console and the other 2 go far side. When both buttons are pressed the 5th person can join and help kite, alternatively, the 5th can be the console presser.

Are you explaining in /team that more people =/= faster cap? or /team who goes where for strategy?

I think most of us feel like our Home District feel unpolished and incomplete. Anet has taken baby steps to make changes to our Home District; e.g. different npcs, gathering nodes based on metas. I’ve always thought that we should be able to craft in our home instance, so while harvesting my nodes giggity I was thinking on how this could be done at a reasonable price.

I like what Anet has done with the new Grandmaster traits where you can either buy them or explore to unlock them. I think they could do the same with crafting table recipes.

I’m thinking of two ways you could create the crafting tables.

Method 1 – Simple Construction, combine all items in MF:
Armorsmith – Recipe, Gift of Metal, 100 Ori Ingots, 100 Bolts of Gossamer Weaponsmith – Recipe, Gift of Metal, 100 Ori Ingots, 100 Ancient Wood Planks

Method 2 – Promotion (e.g. spinal backpack) Armorsmithing
Level 1 – Create crafting lv. 75 items – Recipe + Copper Ingots + Jute Bolts
Level 2 – Level 1 item + Iron Ingots + Wool Bolts
Level 3 – Level 2…..

I know this idea isn’t completely fleshed out, but I’m just day dreaming at work and wondered if anyone had similar ideas.

This is my typical convo with a staff camping guard:
-I politely ask them to change
-They usually link their might stacking skill (sorry at work can’t think of the skill)
- I thank them for the might and ask them to have a better dps swap weapon

I did have a run recently where a staff camping guard would use my warrior’s banner because “the crit coefficient was so high”. I then said that if he used my banner to attack again he would be kicked. He laughed, and dps’d with his own weapon.

Last night a party member got the sword and said “meh”, I would rather have something useful like an infused ring….. he was serious.

Before the april patch you get a lvl 80 out of 4 lvl 80 in the forge …. now even if you use 4 lvl 80 exotic you can get a lvl 79 … i think its bugged

I was going to mention this same thing. Since you may get any exo from lv 75+ that increases the pool of exotics you are pulling from, reducing the chance at obtaining a precursor from the MF.

It looks like the MF is working as intended as it is giving a wider array of outputs, but that just means that you have a higher risk of getting crap. I usually throw a hundred or so weapons into the MF lottery, but I’ve been selling/holding onto mats until they make a statement about the MF.

I know that the precursor reward was around 1% (I know a little less) but if the output now can give 75+ exos, the % has to be lower.

You get relics, 1 item and fragments. Worst end chest.

IMO, this is a terrible idea. I’m not sure where you are getting “a couple silvers” from. If everyone has stacks upon stack in their bank, they will be dirt cheap. Now if you want a vendor price for them and keep them accountbound, then I’m ok with that, but they will be worthless on the TP.

My streak is over! After 34 runs of nothing more than a ring, I got a skin!……… a rifle. At least it was a skin that I didn’t have before and wasn’t a 4th trident.

I noticed on reddit the other day when people were saying to craft rusttooth to get hold of the sigil.

Considering that the scrolls are 50 skill points each, I didn’t feel it was worth it for the reward.

Spending skillpoints to create those weapons just for the sigil is a HUGE loss on the player. There are other ways to spend your skillpoints that can yield close to 50s-1g a point instead of 8s a point.

I’m not sure if there is a direct correlation, but I am receiving constant errors only on mega server maps. I can play the game just fine, run dungeons, pvp, wvw with zerg v zerg and no errors or disconnects. But if I hit a mega server boss, there is a good chance I will error out of the game.

I have the same issue but only on mega server maps with world bosses.

I like my dungeons just like I my women, fast and …. oh wait… OP meant Loser.

The concept is not complicated to grasp, your roll out is what is complicated, and you just made it more ambiguous.

Let us just estimate that the exchange rate is 9g per 100gems. Essentially you spent 261 gold. Now with that gold you could have had 4 of the new skins and a mini. Like DavidSev said, they are a lottery ticket. Better to spend 800 gems on a character slot and farm key runs.

I run a guild newbie fractal run @11 a few days a week. I know on more than 1 occasion someone has gotten a skin. If you are with a set group that knows each other and are on voice comms, I think the higher level is better. But for a time vs. effort, stick with a 11+.

Well, after reading this, I think that some fractals should not be rolled with some instabilities (or the instability shouldn’t work in some areas). There shouldn’t be something like: it’s impossible to finish because X interrupts Y.

I’m doing 49’s too, but some players wants challenges. I’m also going to try all instabilities one day.

Heck, if I could roll a 45 and know I would never see Dredge again, I would deal with the frost.

Have the ability to restack salvage kits if they equal less than 25. Or heck…. make then stacks to 250.

But the real question is… If we run story mode again, will it unlock for the account or just the character that ran it? I’m not talking about the tracks but being able to do explorable on all toons instead of the ones that completed story.

The slots in your armor are not Agony Infusion slots, they are defensive slots. So you will need to use the +5’s you can buy with relics. If you want to use your +8, you will have to drop that into an AR infusion slot, infused rings and backpiece.

I tell people when I join their parties I run triple bear + longbow 4 and Fist + Dagger. They usually laugh.

I’ve given up running anything higher than 38 since the RNG gods do not shine upon me. In general I’ve received the same amount of goodies (weapon skins + ascended weapons) from lv 21 and 49. I’ll take 28% less mob HP and do the lower fractals that are much faster.

Also, I’ve never received an armor box, 8 or so weapon chests, 3 tridents ><, 1 sword, 1 hammer.

If you don’t think it is worth doing, then don’t do it.

The recipe has been out for 3 weeks, you failed to look at what it required to make the gift. If you wait a while the prices will go down and you can craft again.

I can’t find who posted it, so I apologize in advance and want to give credit to whomever said it. But someone mentioned that there were 4 teams working on LS that rotate every 2 releases. I wonder if we just got stuck with the “runt” of the 4 teams for the last release. I’m just so surprised how the last 2 LS releases could be so vastly different with how polished they are.

I think there should have been an extra reward if someone completed all the LS metas from the first to the last, but giving a legendary away is preposterous. Even as something as simple as a title would have been great, “Scarlet Crusader” or something.

Fail – After day 1 I was 1 achieve away from the meta, with just a few rounds of killing LA. This release as well as the last has lead me to level an alt and clearing map, not farming LA. I give Anet credit for the lofty goal of trying something new with a 2 week release schedule, but it is rushed, unpolished and filled with bugs that are achievement/game breaking. But…. being the best game in a saturated market and no sub fees, I will continue to play here and there until something takes my attention.

Don’t laugh, but I play as a ranger nearly 100% of my PVE. I know this affects Mesmers and Necros, but having our minons/pets not allow us to complete achievements is ridiculous.

This last LS patch has actually caused me to want to log in less and less. I do understand that there will be bugs with patches, I expect them. I also expect people to be able to take a vacation/break and enjoy time away from their job, but I do not expect, nor do I accept having game breaking bugs. Not being able to complete events, achievements is just not acceptable.

I’m interested to see what comes with the March 18th patch, but I’m not holding my breath.
