I think it would be really cool to have an extra little achievement/rewards if you completed all the meta’s for the whole story. I know some people joined in mid story, or some people didn’t have time/chose not to finish. There would be a ton of QQ if Anet threw this in there without warning, lots of people saying that would have done it if they would have known, but I think it would be a fun little extra they could reward those who stayed through the whole story.

Not to rehash this same 10238 forum threads, but I had this same issue this week. WORST player I’ve seen in a long time, Leeroyed everything in dredge, pulled to the group but then ran away to survive. He proclaimed that since he was lv 50 he knew all.

I do hope someone links my old Fractured for them (I’d do it but with a 3600 flood control it is hard to post things) with a few updates for the things that are resolved and new stuff we found.

My number one new suggestion is going to be using TAFU as a 3rd tier fractal. Replace dredge with TAFU and it would be even better.

You are leaving out some details. Did you ever says “I’m new can you guide me”? Or did you just play like you had no idea? Did you join speed run/experienced only groups? Were you lv 80? Were you running as a bowbear, staff camping guard, 5 sig warrior?

I have no problem helping people through a dungeon, IF THEY USE THEIR WORDS. There is also some responsibility on the new player to do some research on said dungeon they are running. My faith in self motivation is flushed down the toilet daily when I see post after post of people asking for questions instead of searching for it themselves. Seriously, if they would have typed the same question into their favorite search engine/reddit they would find the answer, but instead they want everything typed out to them. Heck, I’m sure they would just want it dictated to them so they didn’t even have to read.

I would love a repair anvil added to FOTM and a merch added to all dungeon entrances.

The scaling is a small increase in possible rewards in the daily bonus chest and the extra silver. The end of fractal chests do not change with the personal/fractal level, with the possible exception with more AR infusions, (nothing stated but I tend to find 2x+1 more at higher levels).

I would recommend logging out OUTSIDE of LA, Gendaran Fields, Bloodtide and then walk into the zone. This will help with some loading.

I’ve had to add “No Staffcamping Guards please” to my LFG posts. If they do that, I explain why I am booting and promptly remove them from the group.

Why the rise? More demand. Period. Players have nothing to do with gold in the game so they are going for legendaries.

You don’t get 22% more reward but you do have a higher chance at items. I think overall the speed of the lower levels would be much more rewarding.

I’ve been contemplating just doing a daily 30 for max karma gain and the smaller HP pool for the monsters. Less headache, same reward (-20silver). I know the percentages are “better” at higher levels but they are all kitten anyway. At least until they fix/acknowledge a drop rate misstep.

ArenaNet is destroying the most convenient hub in the game to craft and congregate so they can push more royal terrace passes and tradesman packages in the gem store.

Check out Ebonhawk, no gems required. Only thing you can’t get to is fractals portal.

I have the dreamthistle horn currently, so torch might be the winner. I was also thinking the shark spear because it is amazing, but that might be later down the road. I just don’t do enough underwater to justify 2 water legendaries, haha.

In my quest to set a goal in game, I’m making a 3rd legendary for my ranger. I have Bolt and Frenzy. I have the 2 main gifts done, but have been himming & hawing over what I should go for next. I was thinking rodgort because it looks awesome.

Any suggestions? help me reach that dangling carrot.

Anet never lied to us, Weapon Boxes ARE in the game, just at lv 51+. Data mining has already taken place with other instabilities that are in the system, they could just implement 10 more and get us through the next set of reward chests.

I can’t wait to run a 51+ and get 1.5g and a sprinkle of salvaged gear.

FG champ train, IIRC is 6 champs every 8 min, ~45 champs an hour. I think most people would take 45 champ bags over 40-50 miners bags, 2 champ bags and a chest (I think the end guy gives a champ bag).

Well now you know how the WvW players feel about being forced in doing PvE to get that higher tier gear….

You can obtain Badges of Honor from Achievement Chests.
You can gain ranks from Laurels.
You do not need to enter WvW, except for a brief moment to buy your Gift of Battle.

And you forgot, you then need to waste laurels you need for ascended gear for levels instead. It’s not as easy as you people try to make it out so you can stop with the “buy levels” garbage, we have heard it dozens of times already and just because you keep repeating it does not make it any better.

I prefer to set my buy order at a point where I know I can make a profit and where I know it will (eventually) be sold to me.

Then, I don’t worry about them. If I wanted to baby sit my buy orders, I’d stand around Lion’s Arch shouting “WTB”.

Yeah, that is a good point actually. Maybe I would be better off to set a bunch of buy orders and just forget about them instead of babysitting. Does it work out well for you?

I’m not a trading pro, I prefer to adventure through dungeons for the majority of my gold. But this is what I do. I set my prices at night and go to bed. In the morning, I sell what I have won, cancel the rest of my order and place orders for the rest of the day while I’m at work. Rinse and repeat. Mind you I only sell a few 100 items a day at 1-2s profit, but it is a few extra gold for a few minutes before bed/work.

Personally I don’t mind doing the first part or the cage. My whole issue is the bomb/turret path and the endless grind from the dredge cart. Unnecessary amounts of dredge, cart eating attacks, immunity when first spawning, the rifle guys (can’t remember the name) that can shoot through the cart if you sit in the back.

Sure. It will take some time since we can’t roll for dredge first like before and there is some rng when we get to the third shard. Obal is currently updating all of his fractal guides at lvl48 so keep checking his YouTube channel!

It is fairly easy conceptually but Anet added a crap ton of mobs at the start, and since they have some weird kitten aggro radius they chain pull. And since the majority of them have some form of ranged attack, it is a huge PITA.

9 runs in a row now (after last night) @lv 49, not even a ring. 8/9 receiving dredge as 3rd fractal, 5/9 having both cliffside and dredge. Not that cliffside is hard, it just makes the night that much longer.

I completely disagree. They stated that this was going to be the smallest LS installment. Think of it as the calm before the storm. This release is to provide a huge recap and some last analysis before next installment’s destruction.

I’m primarily PVE, only lv 32 WvW rank. I was 27 before the patch and gained 5 more levels because that was part of the new game. I think the change is great. To get world explorer you had to go into WvW anyway, and now instead of just waiting for your server to change colors to get the points you needed, you actually have to do something.

All your QQ are salty and delicious. If they made it rank 50, then I would be a little more miffed, but 30 just is a little time investment.

I’ve seen that when WPing or logging in, and it was a setting with windowed mode v full screen. Play with those settings and see what happens.

Just read this: In the dredge fractal you can’t skip to the part in the cage anymore. No blinks no leaps, invisible walls got added.

I started a different thread but will post here. RNG is killing me. 7 runs in a row at 49 with nothing in the bonus chest, 6/7 in the 30’s bracket with nothing in the bonus chest.

Suggestions:
1 – Increase the chance for something in the daily bonus chest
2 – Any fractal above 31+ should not drop a normal ring, infused only
3 – Having the rings salvagable, same loot table as exotic weapons, but add chance at dust/frag/ore, have all 3 in the loot table that can be a result.
4 – Fractal weapon chests
5 – Amulets for pristine relics ~15 p. relics?
6 – Weapon skins for pristine relics ~30 p. relics?

Also, the dredge fractal does need a change. I’m OK with everything in the fractal except the darn clown car. Yes, the bombs can be a huge PITA, but the caw is a complete waste of time.

Suggestions for Dredge:
1 – Leave everything as is, but remove the clown car. Rabsovich would summon more dredge during the fight, like he does with the 1 veteran.
2 – Leave everything as is, but don’t have the clown car scale with your fractal level.
3 – Have the fractal end at Rabsovich, eliminate the clown car. Spruce up the end boss and make it a 4th fractal boss

The post wasn’t about precursors, I don’t expect to ever see one of those. It is the absolutely dreadful streak of reward chests at the end of Fractals.

You never really provided any reason WHY GW2 needs mounts, unless your reason is a cash grab. It would break most JP, Diving Goggles, Vistas, exploration as you could skip most monsters by flying.

I know, I know, QQ whoa is me. But I have hit the RNG wall. I have about 2k hours played, no precursor drops or MF luck. I am not expecting any precursors and those aren’t the reason for the post.

Most servers are still doing Marionette. As far as wurm, look for the top tiered servers either NA or EU depending on where. Only 2 servers have killed the wurm so there are still plenty of attempts.

That is a rich iron node which inherently can yield a 2x ore. Try it on a normal node. Rich iron is a unique node in the game. When you do it on a normal node you would see 4 × 1 ores, rich irons produce 1×2 ores.

A cool mechanic (while it is still dpsing) is the grawl fractal. The boss shields himself and you need to use a rock to break his shield, then DPS. But still it changes it up a bit.

Please no more currencies.
