Tkittenence of most business models is to make money, if not they are essentially a charity.

Yes they would still make money from skins sold in the shop, but not nearly as much.

Perhaps they need to rethink the balance between RNG and actual skins that can be bought through the gems store.

There will always be people willing to take a chance on RNG rather than buying something outright.

Nope.. I foolishly spend $100 on jems and spent it all on crates. No skin.. not even a mini.. not that I really wanted one. That’s it for me. I have 8 each of the perma harvesting tools.. no more RNG. It’s a bit sad I feel put off from playing this game now. I feel like I’ve just woken up just in time to stop a gambling addiction. This kinda is really isn’t it? Real money gambling for a jackpot of a skin. Just feel like playing Mech Warrior Online where i know when I pump $$ into it, I get what I pay for.

Hello, I’m trying to buy gems at a certain price, but i can’t check everytime theirt price, i have to play too and the price is always on the move. Is there an api that makes a sound when the price falls under a certain value that you can set?

Their price is fixed at 10 euros per 800 gems, although you could try to find bargains online. Apart from a few deals bargains, the price hasn’t moved since launch.

I will spend real money on gems for thinks like bank/ bag slots as I consider it more economical time wise. I am time poor but cash isn’t an issue
however I will not spend cash on RNG items because I value my cash and the statistics in RNG, if I was going to buy RNG items …. actually no I would even buy an RNG object with gold. I’m a realist.

I dont like skins and the RNG crates doesn’t bother me at all, not because I don’t like the skins, it just I won’t and don’t pay for RNG , but If I happen to find one it’s like a win for me, same as finding exotics, it’s all a bonus.

However.

The chance of finding a ticket appears to be so remote that it’s just silly now even a little dishonest. The event it almost over and people are still unlucky/unhappy.

Ncsoft/Anet should have taken a leaf from Willy Wonkas book and stated “We have hidden 5 sclerite tickets in crates”. Then even the Veruka Salt’s amonst us would have been able to make a more informed choice.

Let’s be frank … what is the purpose of the market if you aren’t allowed to get the highest price for goods you sell or the lowest price for the goods you buy? If people think they are being manipulated by people on the market, they have a CHOICE to not use it and farm their own gear or they can learn to be competitive on the market as well. Theres not huge movement but they do sell. I sell them all the time and have sold a few.

Mind you, I may only sell 2 to 3 a week. but they do sell along with other white high level basics.

some of them sell for like 1g too…. go figure

tried to buy ori ore, made custom proposition for 50. When I got no response I clicked for the second time. Then my money for 100 disappeared, about 3g50s.

Hey I’m with the swarm doing the easy events in karka land.
We just move from one “Defeat the riot-instigating settlers” to another, and once there I autofire and I even go away from keyboard often. (I have a weapon that remove conditions on critical so I don’t die from burn)
And we get chests each time for that!
That’s awesome!

There are a lot of really hard events with no chest in this game.
I feel so bad for the developers that created events that are too hard and have no reward!
Players prefer easy events with good rewards!

Ok we hate the few mobs around that are actually challenging, but we usually avoid them.
A single karka veteran is harder than these events.
There’s an event with a karka champion at a wp that nobody is doing, it’s too hard and there is no chest.
The chests are better for the easy events.
All the players are at the same place doing the same things over & over because it’s the most efficient way to spend their time.

But we have to move from one point to another and I must admit that it’s annoying.
Maybe put all the easy events with chests at the same spot.
This way we can all hit auto-attack with ranged weapon and go away from keyboard.
And please make larger chests.

There used to be about 5 up the inlet
1 on the little sand dune
1 – 2 in front of each nest
1 -2 in the water that you could pull out (near the missing ship)
1-2 ‘’ ’’ " near the little head bit
and a about 4 randoms that appeared

Looks like i may have to start playing tha Diabalo 3 game I bought. grrrrrrr

we had trouble last night too, then we tried this.
One person took a mine detector
when you enter the room cave where Null is standing we all ran to the wall to the immediate left. ( there’s small little nook crevace we stood in that)
The person with the mine detector armed the mine that is immediately in front of the wall .
Pulled null to it. – move around him
Then jam him against the wall and hit him with everything you have got.
We kept him jammed and he was unable to deply his shield again and died without moving . My fingers were broken from spamming but he died. LOL

I still think making the skins account or soul-bound upon use rather than acquisition would solve a lot of the dissatisfaction. People that have gotten tickets that don’t want them could sell them and people whose luck with RNG crates is horrendous could then buy them. I understand this would reduce the number of crates being bought, but, by the same token, if it was filled with items that I could sell rather than items I’m stuck with, I might be more inclined to purchase more crates. For example, with the BLC crates, I always seem get mystery tonics … i’m not doing anything but stockpiling them right now, but i’d happily sell them if I could. You are doing it wrong.

Get 200% MF buff, get 50% booster, 30% food, 10% g-banner (or 15%), 15% sigil, and 10% passive guild buff and go farm Skelk with Berserker Gear sitting on 315% magic find.

Every time I go farm for roughly 1 hour segments I usually get.

40-60 Potent Blood
10-15 Powerful Blood
40-60 Sharp Fangs
10-20 Vicious Fangs
2 Crates+
2-4+ yellow/exotics

It seems to be great overall, and they spawn like crazy. (just north of the south-eastern WP).

audio is dropping in and out, Also first time I did the solo with no issues, second time mines weren’t activating and the for some reason (it will be something i was doing for sure) the detector was targeting Canach not the mines. ….. oh and I was so excited that I beat him the first time …. I didnt even look for a chest? was there a chest, please dont say there was .
