Sold several times about 12 hours ago , my TP amount has stayed the same as it was beforehand. Tested again with low level item and no change.

If some are thinking of selling a high level to buy offers I hope they see this reply.

When ever I have a back up of buy orders to pick up and I sell something the money almost never appears until I start clearing out some of the items waiting for me to pick up , then the money starts showing up too

but how many can you create.

It may be cheaper to create a few 50 slot vaults rather that 1 larger vault?

My god guys why do you even have that much crap in your bank in the first place? The skins I understand, but materials? Seriously? For what possible reason would you ever hoard so many of anything? Just craft up the gear you want for your characters and then SELL the left over junk.

Honestly, do you really need enough clutter in your bank to make a legendary weapon ten times over?

Depending on what crafts you are leveling, it may require you to have far more materials than what is possible to stack. Especially if you’re in the mist of crafting ascended weapons, and it will get worse when ascended armor comes out.

I still highly doubt that you actually need enough materials to fill twelve bank tabs.

It’s a bit fishy that they now will allow us to buy up to 12 bank tabs instead of just 8 with gems a mere two weeks after ascended crafting entered the game. I expect an item to increase crafting stacks to 500 to show up in the gem store soon.

Here’s the thing… only 5-10% of MMO players are capable of beating raid style bosses. That is why they are instanced and require large coordinated groups in other MMO’s. The open world is not coordinated. The typical people that show up are simply not capable of following directions and staying alive in this fight. I’d say only half of them even speak english.

People don’t WP because they are used to just waiting for a rez like they have done in every event since launch. People don’t dodge because it hasn’t been required for the last 12 months. You have this pathetically easy open world now with a raid boss in it. I don’t really know what Anet expected.

Add to that the ppl aren’t wanting to pay 1s49c per each death to wp back so will lay there in hopes of a rez.

Give it one week, or maybe more. One day is way to early to even ask for a nerf. No, 5 tries is not enough, this is in fact way too low for a top tier difficulty boss. Maybe at 50-75+ tries like in every god kitten heroic rain in every traditional mmo, we’ll talk. Mmmm all the tit for tat aside, its common sense really and personal preference, Why would you spend hours doing something that atm you only have a slight chance in succeeding , and if you did happen to succeed you had a rare change of being amply rewarded for your efforts when you could easily go bop 5 champs on the head in Frostgorge in 5 minutes and be very well compensated for your input?

There is no way I would spend time and effort trying to sell an over priced property in the hopes of netting that large commission , when I can move 4 smaller properties with little effort for the same if not more (accumulative) reward.

Yeah I sat there for 10 minutes waiting for it to spawn , spent 15 trying to kill the thing and got NOTHING in return, I would have been more rewarded killing cows in the paddock in queensdale.

While I think it’s silly too, its not that hard to do and I play minimal wvw , its just annoying.

I just kept an eye out on wvw at every opportunity and when I saw a skill point or poi that I thought I had a chance at getting I ran in and attempted it, Actually some of it was quite fun, a few times I ran into enemy supply areas knowing that I they were guarded , just hoping I would trigger the poi.

My last skill point i had been trying to get forever that was always contested was open but in the process of being taken, so i ran through the Zerg got to the skill point (all the time trying not to pee my pants) then noticed a JQ player standing there communing so I let him be, then I communed with the Skill he waited while I did then promptly killed me

I have all exotics atm, I cant see the point in crafting ascended if I was aiming for a legendary, it would just be a unnecessary deviation in my progression, especially seeing as crafting precursors are supposed to be introduced this year. It would be a set of gear that ended up stored under the bed with the thigh master and ab swing

This one does, The shores of South sun have proven quite lucrative and appeases one nicely.

I actually got my world completion done yesterday, and I soloed 98% of it with a Norn necro , the worst trouble I had was the skill point on Karst Plains on Malcor’s leap that almost bought me to tears ( LOL) as the stupid risen champion knight kept spawning on me whilst I was trying to commune . After guesting on two servers and seeing that it was doing the same on those servers too, switched my elite lich for a Flesh Golem in hope it would distract the champ long enough for me to commune…… a few attempts and I finally got it sorted . (not sure why I hadn’t thought of that hours ago, oh I wish I had my heros and henchmen!)

My own experience is that in frostgorge i never fail to get champ loot and i normally fight with others but not in a party. However i did a temple a couple nights ago with a huge zerg and tagged several champs but got nothing. I have to believe that is because with the sheer amount of players in the zerg my one warrior was not doing enough damage.

That’s not a solution if you are starting without gold.

The drop rate doesn’t change depending on whether you’re in a party or not. I can tell you from experience, because I’ve farmed more champions than probably 99% of people in this game.

This coming from a guy who spends at least 3 hours a day farming champs. 5 if I’m feeling particularly greedy. I can tell you right now that there was absolutely no difference in loot when I joined a party, and when I decided to follow the train solo.

Considering that I have the total opposite results, it all may depend on build?

Edit: I was using Necro with a power build. My Guardian seems a little more self sufficient though

The RNG in this game is particularly strange, so it’s nearly impossible to try and compare the loot while in a party, and while doing it solo. I can get crap loot for 2 hours straight and then get 6 lodestones in a row, or I can get 3 rares in a row, and then get crap loot for the next hour or so. I’ve had these things happen when I solo and when in a party, but I didn’t see a significant change in loot. That’s all I’m saying.

As such, it would be logical to assume that people would have varying experiences when it comes to champion and normal monster loot.

I was more referring to the number of tags than the quality of drops.

Playing necro for eg, while doing Shank anchorage (before nerf) not in a party I would be lucky to tag anything. NO loot not even porous bones
However if I joined a party I would have no problems tagging most of the embers and mobs.

Joining a party gives more drops only because the amount of damage you have do in order to tag a mob is shared with your party.

More tags = more drops.

I call shenanigans on this. In my experience being in a group or not doesn’t affect a single thing as far as drops go.

It does. If you ever farmed anchorage when it was popular a month ago, you would have noticed very little loot because you didn’t do enough damage to get credit.

Vol’s correct there , when i wasn’t in a party I was getting stuff all loot, the minute I joined one it was a loot fest.

BTW Vol is anchorage completely dead now , I have been back on a few servers and it’s a ghost town.

After looking at all my stash’s in the bank and on Mules I have discovered that I am closer to getting a legendary than an ascended item
