So when we just had login issues the TP went crazy and ate 8g instead of 60s for a stack of t5 dust.

Just got dawn. And im not sure what they have done about rares and from which lvls you can get precursors, but it seems lv 45 items can yield a precursor too.

Report it as a bug, only lvl 74+ items are supposed to give precursors.

I am talking about the newest patch. Reequipping all agony stuff seems to fix it temporaly, but after some time it goes back to bugged damage.

Since latest patch agony seems to be a bit buggy, like I am downing in two ticks of agony at lvl 30 with 25 resist. Normally only about 4k damage per tick. A friend who was with me and had 30 resist got close to downed. A guildy on teamspeak reported he took 6k damage per tick on lvl 10 with 10 res getting downed every time.

Really? Wasting Black Lion kits on rares is a horrible idea. You save them for exotics with valuable runes.

Yes, I got an additional karka bag from mail, but I didnt use overflow exploit.
And no I did not get any precursor from them, infact the stuff in it was bad enough to salvage it. Also the colossus was the first precursor in over 1300h playtime.

Its a normal moderator, probably not a developer who has close insight to mechanics and such.

In my opinion it is abuse of party mechanics. I seriously doubt they intended “completion” to be “being in dungeon when last boss is killed” but I could be wrong.

It is a problem but you can’t fix it by requiring one to stay for full dungeon run. What would happen if someone started to kittentalk everyone in party and get kicked? Who would join your party knowing he won’t get a dime? I had to kick few people for different reasons and replaced them with someone else.

Either ask friends or continue with 4 people. Most dungeons are perfectly doable with 4.

So the current lvl 80 legendaries wont be best in slot anymore when the lvl cap gets raised.

If they did that, me and every current legendary owner would quit the game,

The issue of lodestones is what needs to be sorted, we need more places to get them instead of being forced to do Orr Temples and Fractals.

Why speak for everyone? I know me (i am close to finishing juggernaut) and all other legendary owners in my guild wouldnt quit because of it. Thats a redicilous claim.
Legendaries are hard to get yet. But they are definatly not hard enough to get to be best in slot for years to come.

I would wait with selling it until Eternity is fixed, it has no footsteps and other buggy effects.

500 rares is nothing. I lost about 780g worth of rares and exotics till I got my precursor today (The colossus)

I dont want the hammer. 780g is absurd. You would have bought any precursor with that amount spent. Im not looking to either A) Spend 600+g to just out right buy the precursor, or Spend another possible 500g to obtain it. Something needs to be done.

Its all about luck, there are several people in my guild who got it in the first 10 tries or even several precursors already.
In the end it has to even out (Law of large noumbers). So there will be incredble lucky and incredibly unlucky people (like me).

I rather gamble more than rewarding trader or lucky people by buying it on the trading post, but that might be just me.

Well done, but please be even stricter in future. All people who exploit boss bugs (eg. making them unable to fight back) frequently should at least get suspensions.

Have you ever considered using a Journyman’s kit instead of a Master’s to test the concept? I don’t salvage 1,000 items at a time, but it would seem that the question could be answered by stepping down the chain instead of up to the Black Lion kit, if someone were willing to risk the ROI that would come if it turns out to be that the kit actually does affect the ecto output. People like me don’t have the money to take the risk in testing, but perhaps some of the major traders would be willing, since in the long term using green or even blue kits would be far more economical than using master’s.

I dont think that experiment is worth it. Master kit pays off if you just get 1 more ecto on average per 25 salvages.

Which is why dungeon running, a higher-skill “job”, if you will, is valued at a higher per-minute/hour “wage”. The market works all this stuff out on its own, given enough supply and demand.

Yes right, someone will log in and out for ~1s worth of elder logs. If it would be rich mithril node or orichalcum I could understand, but not for elder logs, when there are 5 elder log nodes in a one minute route.

I suggest deactivating stealth kits and portal cannons for dungeons and fractals.(or better even delete them from game entirely). That would solve some problems quick and easy.

I wouldnt add bots to my friendlist personally. It could look to anet like you are colaboratoring with them.

Also using spy kits and skipping trash greatly devalues your achievement. Trash is often more challanging than some of the bosses.

Often you see teleport hack using bots going from node to node. If you want to combat them, this might help:

1) Stand at a resource node and wait for people who pop out of nowhere and start collecting the resources.
2) Click on the player, right click on their portrait and choose report. But wait a moment before sending a report.
3) If they vanish to nowhere after finishing collecting report them for botting.

I think so, too. Transmuted items turn into a completly new item, I doubt it would be easy for the game to identify and restore them.

EVE is a horrible game where being a crook and scamming is encouraged. So dont take it as a positive example for GW2.
