Guess I have to do these kind of events at 4am when zerg is only about 20% people instead of 100+. Because its very unplayable right now.
Stop doing them…why do them if there are zero rewards…it boggles my mind.

I try them after every patch in hopes anet keeps their promised. Sadly I always end up disappointed.

Honestly, the server performance during large events like Claw of Jormag is unacceptable and horrible. 50%+ of the zerg get culled away, skills take several seconds to execute and the whole zone suffers from the server lag. Now with guesting people are server hopping for more dragon events it got even worse.
Conclusion: GW2 needs MUCH better servers or some miracle optimisations (without affecting gameplay or visuals) have to happen.
I wonder why moderators merged 2 completly different threads here. One about ascended stuff and mine about achievement points. Really?

I got a similar problem, 4 times this week I got absolutly no reward from Jormags Claw at all, no chest or event medal. I didnt use guesting feature. Also did more than enough damage I think, my guardian is using berserker build currently.
Yes, a lvl cap of over 200 would be great.
The loot is still nerfed. Do something.
There are surely more than 0.1% HC players. It feels like more than 10% of the active players on our server are far from casual.
I have never seen that behaviour in my life and quite frankly its total rubbish. You have my sympathy if people were kicking you from groups because you didn’t have enough achievement points. Gear elitists are bad enough, now there are achievement point elitists? lol
I got 4850 achievement points so I didnt run into this problem yet, but I saw groups requirering certain amount of achievement points plenty of times on my server.
Are you sure? I was unable to loot it when it bugged last time.
Obviously it has meaning to some people, for example I often see people only taking 3k+ achievement points into their team. (which is obviously nonsese because of the many repeatable achieves)

Maybe you have bad eyes. Bloom definatly makes a lot of blur.
Not all fractal exotic weapons from chests are account bound, there are definatly tradeable exotics in them every now and then.
Happens frequently, its bad because you cant loot the stone if it bugs.
Now doing your dailies gives 25 points per day, 9125 points per year? That must be a joke if equipping a legendary weapon only gives 5 points (same with many other time consuming achievements).
Whats the point of achievement points if they only show how often you did repeatable nonsense tasks?
I didnt try arah story after patch yet, but if its true what you said, its horrible. Not like the battle was any good before. The only interesting part of the fight before war artwork of Zhaitan. The rest was boring and easy.

Anyone else thinks its silly how you only have to do the last hit to get credit for the forest creatures? I think it should goes towards whichever team did most damage, as long as the damage dealers are close and alive to the forest creature.

Nothing unusual, lost 780g on my task to get colossus.
Dungeons where hard enough as they where, now its crazy. But the most important thing are the levels they are made for. They barely match, would love to see a lvl 35 group do all AC paths when they are still leveling and dont have the money to gear up for it.
Thought dungeons where also a way to progress towards better gear while leveling. It seems most dungeons are just end game, even story mode can be a pain allthough in some cases its just long (which isnt bad unless you help others and do them multiple times).
Crazy difficulty? I still find them laughable easy.
15s will just postpone waypoint zerging not fix it. Its fine the way it is now.
Also you are indeed getting no loot if you die or do no damage for too long. I rezzed people before doing no damage in return and ended up getting no loot because of it >.<
I too was disappointed the dungeons were made easier. The dungeons are GW2s raids, they should be suitably difficult.
And I don’t think skins as exclusive rewards are too toxic, especially as the current explorable skins are quite pretty
Either way, people would probably be happy with a passive 50-100% magicfind (you’d probably need to gear non-mf to do the dungeon at all) would be enough of a reward to run hard mode.
1. 100% magic find does nothing, it would have to be 500%+ MF to be meaningful. Still just finding better random junk items you end up salvaging is useless.
2. I rather have 0% MF, since I never noticed MF improving my loot at all
Takes much longer than solo on a warrior so not worth it I guess.
Its a visual bug, probably because you have ranger runes on your pvp armor.

I suspect they will plummet once we hit the 10 day mark and people can transmute lodestones with the new mystic binding agent. Of course this will suck for people who need glacial and crystal lodestones as the price for those is going to skyrocket, but the lodestone market will be more even across the board at least.
I doubt it will go that quick. There is better stuff to get than 10 mystic binding stuff. I for one wont spend any laurels on them for a long time.

I wouldnt be against 4 (?) difficulty tiers like in secret world, as long as each tier would only add cosmetic progression. Maybe make nightmare mode reward legendary grade stuff, but then it would have to be really hard and take weeks to figure out all the tricks to make it to the end.
4 is too many because then if someone has a friend you can’t kick them. 3 is the number.
Not really, just make it so all people except you have to say yes to the kick. So in a 5man group 4 people have to agree, 4 people group, 3 have to agree…
Because he was obviously intended to be fighted with his minions at the same time. They are respawning for a long time for a reason. The boss alone is just plain boring.

Pretty much, it could use a weapon trail or maybe they could work on the chromatic effect so it looks better in dungeons, I like the chromatic in some areas though.
Maybe better footsteps? The current ones are so small compared to the greatswords.
And chromatic effect should always stay when the weapon is equipped. My armor looks like kitten compared to when chrome effect is added.

What does this have anything to do with the fact the bosses in a hard fractal got buffed to make it harder?
They fixed the wheel and pull boss out exploit. The ice boss was significantly easier than dredge, so it got fixed, too.
