Seems like SF is turning into another Kaineng ( sadly )
Yeah, TOTALLY like Kaineng… /sacrasm :p
Yes indeed totally !!! ( no sarcasm )
Hmmm, posted about two hours ago. So, that’s what…3:40something Pacific? That there is what we call nightcapping. Which happens when one server has a stronger night population than the other servers. All this means is that SF has more of a night crew than ET and FC. This is nothing new since we’ve arrived in Tier 8 and is by no means an indication that we’re a Kaineng situation. Come back during peak hours when the match is running at full cylinders.
Again, I’m not denying SF has a population advantage. But again, the idea that we’re just like Kaineng (i.e. getting a surge of transfers and throwing off the balance) is absolutely ludicrous. (Seriously, do you REALLY think FC would have been able to take over our Borderlands yesterday if our situation was JUST like Kaineng?)
EDIT: And the status of the map at 6am PST…
lol I think you misunderstand what were saying. we’re saying you guys are becoming “like” Kaineng, it’s obvious that its not an utter domination, but to a FC player, a server with a high population is either Devona or Kaineng (you probably know why). And a server that has an extremely unbalanced night crew is especially familiar sounding to Kain and their SoS guild.
And this is why clear communication is key. To you guys, being ‘just like Kaineng" is just a server who has the population advantage in Tier 8. But to everyone else who was not in Tier 8 with Kaineng for so long, being “just like Kaineng” means getting a huge surge of WvW transfers, throwing off the WvW balance and steamrolling their way up WvW rankings (so much so that there’s actually a chance they may actually skip Tier 3 entirely next week and jump from Tier 4 to Tier 2).
To us and every other server, Kaineng represents everything that is wrong with the free server transfers (thank goodness those are coming to an end today!). So when you guys call SF “just like Kaineng,” you can understand why some of us will bristle at the comparison.

Thanks for reminding me how much fun WvWing is with a mesmer Seven! It’s been way too long since I’ve WvWed with my mesmer. So methinks you’ll be seeing a bit more of Lusnatuis in our WvW maps soon.
Copy and pasting my post from the EB JP thread from earlier today (which ultimately was locked due to there being MANY threads in this forum on this topic).
Another day, another jumping puzzle thread. OP, I highly encourage you to do a search next time. We see many new threads complaining about the EB jumping puzzle in this forum and your thread on this issue is not unique. By doing a search, you would have known the predominate opinions of the WvW forum regulars and would have known how this thread would turn out (not to mention you could have posted in one of the many existing threads on this topic instead of creating yet another new thread on the issue).
Only a WvWer will truly know how this feels…
It’s easy to trigger your weapon skills while on the move. Trickier for the heal and utilities since those aren’t easily reachable by default. My guess…they have their keybinds set up so they can easily access all or most of their skills with their left hand with some additional binds on their mouse. There’s also the possibility that they have a high-end gaming mouse with a lot of side buttons, which makes the process a lot easier.
There are a number of mini-games that are going to be available (including the Target Shootout game you mention above); however, the only one that is active at this time is Keg Brawl. As far as I know, no ETA has been announced for when these other mini-games will be implemented.
I have a level 80 Ele and absolutely love her. Eles are easy to play, but difficult to master. There’s a lot of versatility and they can bring a lot to the table. And swapping attunements keep the gameplay incredibly interesting.
P.S.- No Necros, don’t like the whole zombie squad (ie. blood fiend) and don’t find it cool and is actually gross looking so not interested in them.
As mentioned above, there’s quite a bit more to the Necro than the zombie squad thing. In fact, the predominate builds for condition damage and burst damage (or hybrid builds of the two) don’t really make use of pets. Not even the Blood Fiend (Consume Conditions and/or Well of Blood FTW). I have a level 45 hybrid necro with zero pets and found the build really offers a lot of kick and complexity of gameplay

As marnick mentions above, the three in Lion’s Arch are the easiest to get to. However, if you find a need for additional puzzles to discover, Caledon Forest is a good zone to visit to pick up additional discoveries. There are three in Caledon Forest (Spelunker’s Delve, Spekk’s Laboratory, Morgan’s Leap) that are relatively easy to get to (the fourth in the zone is a bit more challenging to discover, as you have to complete Morgan’s Leap to find it).
Mistfire Wolf Skill - It’s an elite summon skill that you get on every character you create. As with all elite powers, you have to wait until level 30 to use it. But it automatically unlocks without having to spend skillpoints. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Summon_Mistfire_Wolf
Mini Rytlock - Account bound mini (you only get one per account) http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Miniature_Rytlock
Chalice of Glory - Account bound one-time use item (you only get one per account). When you pop it, it’ll add 5,000 glory to your account. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Chalice_of_glory
Tome of Influence - Account bound one-time use item (you only get one per account). When you pop it, it’ll add 1,000 influence to whatever guild you are currently representing. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tome_of_influence
Golem Banker - Soulbound one-time bonus item that gives your character unlimited access to your account storage for five consecutive days. This item is mailed to every newly created character generated on an account that has the Digital Deluxe (or Collector’s Edition). http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Golem_Banker
i’d take a look at the razer naga hex(i think the normal one has to many buttons)
I gave the Razer Naga Hex a try and personally didn’t care for it much. I originally had a Logitech MX518 and found the Hex just way too small and narrow (it felt more like a portable laptop mouse). If you like a small mouse and/or use a palm grip for your mouse, you may like it. But anyone who is used to a large mouse and/or controls their mouse via a fingertip grip or a claw grip may likely find the Naga Hex to be pretty darn uncomfortable (to the point of getting hand cramps). Additionally, I found at least two of the thumb buttons to be a bit awkward to use effectively (you really have to reach with your thumb to tag them, which is inconvenient in combat). And the buttons on the mouse are VERY sensitive and I encountered a lot of miss-clicks just by trying to move the mouse around normally.
I ended up returning the Hex (thank goodness for the generous return policy at Fry’s Electronics). Picked up the Logitech G600 and haven’t looked back.
(edited by Manoa.5897)
I just picked up a Logitech G600 and absolutely LOVE it. I find it incredibly comfortable (I have “piano fingers” and larger mice work better for me) and it offers a LOT of flexibility with keybinds. Thanks to this mouse, I’m able to activate my profession skills far more efficiently (attunement swapping is a breeze now). It’s a bit on the expensive for mice, but I found it well worth the investment.

i was agreeing with you o.O
even if your population doubled… youd outnumber us/et and still not hit queues

There seem to be a lot of guilds with south American names in Sorrow’s Furnace the past two days >_>;
This is nothing new.
Sorrow’s Furnace is the unofficial Latin American server and we’ve always had a very strong Latino population. And several of those Latin American guilds are VERY active in our WvW community.
So if we are getting transfers and/or more PvEers involved, it certainly isn’t enough yet to bump us to max map capacity terribly often.
all of our populations are low enough that you could quadruple our numbers and not hit queues
or well… they were.
I’m not trying to argue that our WvW isn’t getting more numbers and/or doesn’t have population advantage over FC or ET at this time. Just sharing my personal observations, nothing more.
I can’t say for certain whether or not we are indeed seeing more numbers (as I haven’t been active during this particular match) and if so, what the actual source of that population increase is (i.e. transfers or PvEers joining us when we’re winning or a combo of the two).
There are many reasons for score discrepancies due to population. We may very well be seeing more folks joining us in WvW, thereby swinging the population advantage in our favor. Or the other two servers may be loosing WvW population (either to other servers or to PvE), which would also swing the population advantage in our favor. And the two are not necessarily mutually elusive either…it could be some mix of the two.

Wish we had better news for you.
Definitely encourage him to keep an eye on the server status. I’ve heard of plenty people (and know a couple personally) who were able to get lucky and get onto a “full” server just by keeping an eye on the server status for an opportunity. Good luck!
It’s all about personal preference and comfort what will work for some may not necessarily work for you. But seeing other people’s set-ups can certainly help give you ideas on what is possible.
Below is my current set-up. I have a Logitech G600 mouse, so any mention of “G” keys refers to the keys on this particular mouse (I give preference to the mouse thumb keys during gameplay). This set-up allows me to keep my right hand on my mouse and my left hand positioned on the home keys with very little extra hand movement required.
Movement
Up: W
Down: S
Strafe Left: A
Strafe Right: D
Turning: A combo of the above movement keys and holding down my right mouse button to pan the camera
Jump: Default (space bar)
Dodge: G14 (corresponds to rough position of Mouse 4 on mice with only two side buttons)
Weapon skills: Default (1-5 keys)
Weapon swap: G11 (corresponds to rough position of Mouse 5 on mice with only two side buttons)
Self Heal: Mouse 3 (scroll wheel)
Utility Skill 1: Z / G15
Utility Skill 2: X / G16
Utility Skill 3: C / G17
Elite Skill: V / G19
Profession Skills
Prof Skill 1: F1 / G9
Prof Skill 2: F2 / G12
Prof Skill 3: F3 / G10
Prof Skill 4: F4 / G13
The server cap is the server cap and impacts server transfers AND new accounts. Considering the number of posts I’ve seen discussing how their friends who just picked up the game are unable to get onto their server due to its “full” status, I’m inclined to believe that there is no preference given to new accounts over transfers.
What’s the best thing you’ve had from that chest?
I think I got a green once. :-/

I’ve been focusing on leveling my necro this week and haven’t been in WvW all that much during this match. So I can’t say for certain whether or not there have been a serge of transfers onto SF. What I do know is that our server population is still showing at “Very High” (at a time when there are a ton of transfers going on due to the impending transfer lockdown and a ton of servers that used to be at “Very High” last week are now showing at “Full”). And I know from past experiences that our server’s PvE-oriented population tends to dabble more in WvW when we have a solid lead.
Also, I have noticed that when I transit to Lion’s Arch via WvW, there still hasn’t been much in the way of WvW queues (I encountered a queue only once over the past week in EB during peak hours on Sunday). So if we are getting transfers and/or more PvEers involved, it certainly isn’t enough yet to bump us to max map capacity terribly often.
Actually for fractals you can get upleveled too if you run it without being lvl 80 as well
Good point! I had PvE maps in mind when I posted above. And I always run on a level 80 in FotM, so I totally forgot about the upscaling in fractals (and some of the holiday events too).

That should say dynamic level adjustment system, way back in the day we called that the sidekicking system and that snuck through to the website.
How it did so without any of us noticing is an enigma wrapped in a paradox, surrounded in a mystery.
I’m guessing the name came from the idea that a lvl 80 toon could go wander around with a lvl 10 toon as their “sidekick?”
Actually it was the other way around, that a level 10 could join a party with a level 80 and be upscaled as their sidekick. This idea was ultimately scrapped.
See more here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sidekick
Again, the idea had its roots in the old sidekicking/exemplar system in City of Heroes. In COH, “sidekicking” meant you were upleveled UP to a higher level character team leader (to one level below the higher level character IIRC). The term “sidekick” (or “lackey” if you played a villain) was used for the system because it was thematic with the comic book genre. The system also included something called “exemplaring,” where a higher level character could “exemplar” DOWN (i.e. downlevel) to a lower level team leader. This system was eventually redesigned to be more dynamic and flexible in nature (dubbed the “super-sidekicking” system) where you were autoleveled up or down based on the level of the active mission (or to the team leader if no mission was selected). This was all based on the mission/team leader, none of it was map-specific.
The dynamic level adjustment we have now in GW2 is the natural extension of COH’s super-sidekicking system (by tying the autoleveling it to the zone rather than your party). The idea of “sidekicking” up to higher level character was in beta, but was scrapped for GW2’s PvE though because ArenaNet found too many people were bypassing content (so we now only see such upleveling in WvW and sPvP). In PvE, we only have something similar to “exemplaring” (downleveling).
Guild: Paragon City Elite [PCE]
Headquarters: Sorrow’s Furnace
Playstyle: Casual PvE (handful of Semi-Hardcore, handful of WvW)
Demographic: Mature, but Family Friendly
Time Zone: Predominately Eastern and Central (looking for more Pacific Coasters!)
Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/448729938494523/
Point of Contact: Manoa.5897
Paragon City Elite [PCE] is a guild headquartered on Sorrow’s Furnace server that was founded by City of Heroes alumni. While many of us are COH expats and celebrate our COH origins, we welcome all friendly GW2 players (both new and experienced alike). We’re a medium-sized guild with a little over 50 total members and typical peak concurrency of around 10-15 guildies during weekends. Our guild is predominately made up of casual PvEers, though some are “semi-hardcore” and some dabble in WvW. We run regular weekend dungeon runs and “zone blitz” events as well as regular economy perks during the weekends (and occasionally during the week depending on our influence status). We welcome folks from all servers (we have a several guild members scattered on other servers and are looking forward to guesting); however, our guild upgrades are all on Sorrow’s Furnace server.
We pride ourselves on that strong sense of community for which COH was renowned. If you’re a former COH player or just a regular GW2 player looking for a friendly, helpful group of folks, we invite you to give our guild a try (post in this thread and/or PM me for more details).

Oh. So they are talking about the level scaling? Or maby an up-level scaling so friend of different levels can play together in higher level zones?
The “sidekicking” mentioned in the January update announcement only relates to WvW balances (perhaps making upscaled characters more competitive).
As far as I know, there are no plans to uplevel characters in higher-level zones in PvE. They tried it during the earlier phases of beta, but scrapped it because too many people were skipping over important content in favor of spending all their time in higher level zones.
Sidekicking an informal name for the upleveling/downleveling system used in GW2 (the term “sidekicking” comes from City of Heroes, where the sidekicking concept originated). If you’re asking what they mean in the January Update announcement, they’re going to be making some balancing tweaks for the upleveling in WvW.
Here’s the thread Lexy is thinking about. Lots of helpful info. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/GW2-Abbreviations-and-Terms/first#post847132
I’m a former COH player myself and play with good group of COH friends. If you ever need help with anything Supasilvafoxy, do feel free to give us a holler!
Only a WvW player will come to these forums for actual WvW discussion (instead of JP discussion).
Considering you didn’t send NCSoft support an e-mail and all GW2 support is through ArenaNet (unlike COH, where the support was via NCSoft), it looks phishy to me.
As mentioned above, your NCSoft Master Account never goes away (mine still exists, even though COH is no more). But the support account is a separate account and IIRC, an NCSoft support account is only created if you actively create one (I don’t think NCSoft automatically creates these support accounts, it has to be user created).
So two possibilities…1) someone is trying to use your account credentials to create a fake NCSoft support account or 2) it’s a phishing scam to try to steal your credentials by looking like a legitimate e-mail.
If you want to look into it, you most certainly can. But be sure you go directly to the NCSoft account site and NCSoft support site to investigate (do not use the link in the e-mail, it may be spoofed).
Lusnatuis (Sylvari Mesmer) – Lusnatùise is Gaelic for “lavender.” Opted for a slightly altered version of the word.
Adila Bushira (Human Elementalist) – Adila = Swahili for “justice.” Bushira = Swahili for “brings good tidings.” I’m a former City of Heroes player who called Justice server home. This character name is a nod to my old COH server.
Zlixxa (Asura Necromancer) – Something I cobbled together that sounded cool
Tikaa (Asura Warrior, though seriously considering rerolling her into a Ranger) – Something I cobbled together that sounded cool
Kaira Sharptooth (Charr Engineer) – Sharptooth is a name I used for my Charr during the BWEs and choose it to represent her wit. Kaira is Greek for “right or opportune moment” and I thought would go well with Sharptooth.
Kjirian Sjöberg (Norn Guardian) – Kjirian is a name I’ve used for several D&D characters in the past (usually cleric or paladin). Sjöberg is a common Swedish surname that means “sea hill.”
Beite (Sylvari Thief) – Gaelic for “white birch” (aimed for a look that is reminiscent of a Paper Birch at the end of fall, beginning of winter).
This post was a success.
Arenanet is nerfing ele effectiveness against zerg. (in reference to AOE nerfs)
cheers!
(although personally i think they need to increase the max player hits from 5 to 20 or so, especiallly if they are nerfing the damage)
At least one of the devs is already aware of it and complemented these folks on their teamwork and use of terrain and combos. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/4vs30-No-problem/page/2#post1172919
The total server population is in no way indicative of that server’s WvW population. If it was, SF would be doing better than Kain and DR (which are at “High”) and would be in a higher tier alongside the other 15 “Very High” server populations. We’re predominately a PvE server. We’d like to see more WvWers join us. Nothing wrong with that.
And I’m wondering if there’s an established guild for other expats at Borlis Pass or am I going to have to transfer my tribe to Sorrow’s Furnace? :-)
I’m not aware of any other COH expat guilds in GW2, but that’s not to say they don’t exist (I just don’t know of any). But what I can say is that Paragon City Elite [PCE] does exist welcomes any and all (former COH players and non-COH friends alike). We’re relatively small guild (50 or so total members, typical peak concurrency of around 10-15 during weekends) and predominately made up of casual PvEers, but we’re a good group of helpful folk.

Does someone want to elaborate? I know nothing about City of Heros or what the OP is talking about.
There was a well-known GM in COH known as “GM Lloyd.” Apparently, there’s a GM Lloyd here in GW2 as well (who knows, maybe the same GM Lloyd?) and OP got nostalgic.
I’m part of a small guild made up of former COH players on Sorrow’s Furnace and it’s awesome to see other fellow COH players in GW2.

They can’t do account bound dyes now, because some genius had the idea of putting dye in the cash shop.
Less dye purchases= less money…. which means dyes won’t go account bound as long as there is money to be had.
Welcome to a game with a cash shop.
EDIT: And for those who come back with the ridiculous argument ‘it can’t be that much money/ it’s not enough to matter/ ANet isn’t all about the cash grab’, etc. I submit: they are a business, which exists to make money. Selling dyes, however few they may sell, generates profit. Any chance at profit is good in their eyes. Thus, we will never have account-bound dye.
They likely would have generated FAR more gem store revenue under the old account bound dye system via Magic Plant Food sales (see my above post for how the old account bound system worked and how Magic Plant Food fit into that system).
(edited by Manoa.5897)
If you had experienced the account bound dye system (as those of us did during BWE1), you wouldn’t be asking for account bound dyes.
And those reasons are…?
The old account bound dye system worked as follows:
-You had to wait until you got a Colorful Dye Seed drop to start the dye creation process
-Once you had a Colorful Dye Seed, you had to take it to a Dye Manufacturer in your home instance. Said Dye Manufacturer would only accept one Colorful Dye Seed at at time.
-In return for your Colorful Dye Seed, you would receive a Dye Receipt in your inventory. After a mandatory 24 hour waiting period, you could return to the Dye Manufacturer and exchange the Dye Receipt for a soulbound unidentified dye (I can’t even imagine trying to go for The Bifrost under such a system).
-The only way to bypass the 24 hour waiting period (and get your dye instantly) was to buy Magic Plant Food from the gem store.
The old system was incredibly clunky and took a very, VERY long time to accumulate dyes. The new system is far more intuitive and offers far more flexibility to players.

If you had experienced the account bound dye system (as those of us did during BWE1), you wouldn’t be asking for account bound dyes.
It’s great to see that guesting is being implemented and the free server transfers are finally going away. Pity that the damage to WvW has already been done.
Well we went to nice even battles in EBG to SF having 100% EB and 50 ppl outisde our spawn all day, overnight. It’s not even anymore, don’t kid yourself.
Those are 50 people who would have been split between fighting ET and FC, but can now 100% concentrate on FC. SF had a good night the other night when we able to take advantage of ET’s weakness on EB and were able to make a solid push against FC to overtake the lead. But looking at the map control at this moment in time, it’s pretty much 1/3 across the board. And during evening hours PST, I’ve been observing SF getting up to 50% total WvW map control or a smidgy over (with FC dominating the remainder of the pie). If SF were the beneficiary of a bunch of server transfers and/or the match was completely uneven, we’d be able to achieve and maintain far more map control.
If these posts were coming from ET players, I would wholeheartedly agree that the match is no longer even for them (again, I’m really saddened to hear ET lost even more of their WvWers due to server transfers). But FC is still putting up a solid fight. The map control and scores between FC and SF are for the most part still relatively even. And there are plenty of good battles. That would not be the case if the match were completely uneven.
IIRC, there were a couple times when FC was able to completely overtake EB last week. But that didn’t mean FC got a ton of transfers in or that the match was completely uneven. FC just had the advantage at that specific point in time and overall, it was still an even match for the week.
Not saying that server transfers to SF wouldn’t impact the score, I just don’t think server transfers to SF (if we’re getting them) is having as much as an impact on this week’s score as ET’s loss in WvW population.
(edited by Manoa.5897)
Oh well…..At least one week of a even match up was good.
Was hoping for another, but looks like the transfers are in at SF.
Whaaa?? O.o
The score as of this posting is currently:
SF: 164,806
FC: 145,723
ET: 97,322
If you compare that point spread with the point spreads of the other tiers, you’ll notice that this is still a relatively even match and SF is NOWHERE near dominating (if you want to see domination as a result of server transfers, look at those point spreads in tiers 5 and 6). (http://mos.millenium.org/matchups#NA)
I myself haven’t noticed much in the way of server transfers, but that’s not to say it hasn’t been happening. But I personally don’t think server transfers is playing much of a role in SF taking the lead as much as ET loosing even more WvWers (sorry to hear ET
). SF has always had the numbers to do well when they’re against one strong population server and one weak population server. Now that we’re not fighting a two-front war nearly as much, SF is able to cap more assets and put a lot more heat on FC. We also have a lot of “fair weather” players on our server. When the going gets rough in WvW, our players retreat to PvE. When the going gets good in WvW, our players decide that WvW is fun again and return to WvW. Also, I’ve been hearing stuff about a new alliance on SF that is trying to get our WvW organized and populated, which may be playing into things.
Just because SF has taken the lead doesn’t mean the match isn’t even anymore or that we’ve gotten an influx of server transfers. The point spread is still relatively competitive and there are plenty of other reasons that could explain the lead. If we start seeing a point discrepancy of hundreds of points, then we can start pointing the finger at server transfers.
Keep up the good fight and don’t let that morale dip!
(edited by Manoa.5897)
There are no hearts in WvW or in Orr. The hearts in the Heart of the Mists (sPvP) are (as well as the POIs) not required for 100% world completion. Those hearts have to be in PvE. I highly advise looking at your world map and hovering over the name of each and every PvE zone. When you hover over the zone name, it’ll tell you what you have left to complete.
While I understand your opinions, I still think that fighting in a JP is a bad idea.
The JP is in a WvW zone. The WvW zones are going to have strategic PvP. It’s the whole point of the maps and comes with the territory. If you aren’t comfortable with the idea of fighting other players (not to mention the very real possibility of dying at their hands)…then with all due respect OP, you shouldn’t even be entering a WvW map in the first place.
Also, there are plenty of PvE JPs where there are NPC baddies that you have to fight. Since you feel fighting in a JP is a bad idea, you going to ask the devs to remove those NPC bad guys too?
(edited by Manoa.5897)
This thread needs a bump so…. Here’s some terrible Guardian gameplay from SM today. Quick vid I threw together for a build thread in the Guardian forum, so I’ll post it here too.
Also this match up is the funniest I had in some time. A lot of good players out there.
Fun video, couldn’t help but root for you. Which I kinda feel a bit bad about since you’re fighting my people!
Another week, another JP post. OP, please do a search before posting. This particular topic has been posted in this forum MANY times before and if you had just done a search, you would have known the opinion of those who regularly post in this forum and how this thread would turn out.
Do I personally find campers frustrating? I’d be lying if I said I don’t get frustrated at times. Especially those times that there is just no way to effectively fight back due to map design (hello beast room + arrow carts). But it’s WvW. WvW is a PvP zone that is built around strategic advantage and isn’t meant to fair. And the puzzle is thematic with that strategic advantage design and is game of “king of the hill.” And I wholeheartedly feel anyone going into the puzzle should be 100% comfortable with the idea that it’s strategic PvP that’s not intended to be fair before they even enter the puzzle (or even better, before they even enter the WvW maps).
If you are having a difficult time getting through the puzzle, then you need to seek help from others or try the puzzle at another time (when your server has control of the puzzle or during off times when the puzzle is empty). Or even better, learn how to fight and fight back. I’ve been part of some pretty fun and exciting battles in the puzzle. They’re probably among my favorite jumping puzzle runs and some of my favorite moments in WvW.
>Keep it clean
Too late for that now, already mesmers in ET are exploiting inside keeps with gates/walls intact and porting in everyone to instagib everything
Secondly, regarding exploits: posting exploits on the forum is not permitted as the forum moderation team does not investigate those issues. That’s why exploits have to be sent to the following address: exploits@arena.net or to our Customer Support Team as explained above. Reports of exploits sent by either of these two methods reach the correct people who can then investigate.

If it’s truly a case of exploiting (and not just folks forgetting to do a thorough mesmer sweep after taking the keep)…document it, report it and let ArenaNet sort it out from there.
Sometimes. Prices can change rapidly for rare items. In this case,
Based on the sudden spike in the price without a decrease in the number of items available, it looks like someone bought up all of the gold dye in an attempt to corner the market.
This is my thought. It’s a low supply item, so it’d be easy for someone with a lot of coin to pull off. Given there are no massive swings in buy and sell volume, I suspect this may be the case.
Hold tight OP and keep an eye on the prices. Maybe they’ll go back down to historical norms once the market manipulator sells all of their product. But know there’s always a chance that the prices will stay at their new high levels.
Also, don’t forget that there are nearly 400 different colors in the game and there are many colors that are incredibly similar to one another. For example, fog is a great alternative to white, but is MUCH cheaper (4s for fog dye vs. 6g for white dye). I highly suggest you take a look at what colors are available (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dye#Colors). Perhaps you can find an alternative that will give you the same effect you are looking for for a cheaper price?

I watched all the videos uploaded to the OP’s YouTube channel thus far…such incredible skill and teamwork. I’d be happy if I could muster up merely a fraction of PvP skill that you see in these videos.
I’ve been seeing this error a lot today. I’m pretty sure it’s on their end, as I’ve experienced the error both at home and at work.
thank you..
DD: Double dagger
Cc: …?DD = Damage Dealer
I usually see dual wielding daggers shortened to D/D (for dagger/dagger), not DD.
