We need more of them, other F2P/B2P games have more cosmetic options; there’s a real aeon why Rift released a new free expansion and that might have to do with their cosmetic variety ( as well as their new class/profession options that they’re selling).

I usually log in to get my welfare chest, then complete my daily, then cash my experience slips in on alt, then play that alt for an hour or so.

Roughly 2.5 hours tops; a typical play session for me though now I usually use my second play session on another mmo.

Consciously less even since I was bullied by the authorities recently.

I would prefer outfits, better for leveling alts, and no clipping on Charr.

He needs to make a left turn and see if he can use that birdhouse roof to get to the next level up. It’s possible he could get onto the big black bauble from there but it would be a risky/technical jump without a tele gun; might be better off edge-running along that line of tinsel and then making small jumps up the remaining pinecones.

Can’t see whether there is a fairy or a star at the top from that shot, does the chest have decent loot?

He seemed more intent on knocking ornaments on the ground triggering dynamic events for the other cats, he even drew out the events until he spawned two champions my wife and my self that had to get him out of the tree.

I’ve got 2 lvl 80 Guardians for what ever reason and decided to try a Warrior. I’m assuming while I level it’s a straight 5 signets with GS.

Once I hit 80 I assume I use signet of healing, the epic Signet, and banners for the rest?

Regarding Banners though how short are the CDs, I worry I’ll drop them down for some trash and then not have them for other fights, do you only drop them for bosses and champs?

Do banners have a recall mechanism like Shaman in WoW used to have so that they were picked back up on the move?

I wound up going with soldiers armor, and Zerker weps/Trinks.

I was thinking that you could tweak all of the zones to have tiers like Dry Top, similar to how Rift does their zone events having it culminate in a boss spawning.

Hey guys I’m predominantly a PVE player that mainly does open world big events such as Orr, FSG, Dry Top, SW, World Bosses; 5 mans that are not Zerker speed run oriented.

It seems as though ever guild I join as only 10 to 25 people on at a shot, guild chat dead quiet, no one doing anything together except during a weekly guild mission.

I’m looking for a casual friendly guild that’s multiserver active, social, and shares my interests.

No better options atm, Rift seems appealing but when you figure in the new reputation grinds and the cap on stones it kind of kills it for me.

Personally I’m stockpiling experience scrolls until I can power level a character up to the point I get the epic utility skill unlocked.

What’s the point of the CDI forum if all the topics are closed, kind of flys in the face of the whole concept?

I don’t care if this subject is repeated every day ANet needs to be aware that we won’t let up and we will continue to express our interest in an expansion that adds a substantial amount to the map (like a 1/3 to 1/2 increase in size), with new story lines, world bosses for each zone, with an elder dragon open world event.

We will never relent, we will persevere!

unlike turn based, I would like a fighting game 2 vs 2 or 1v1v1v1 similar to smash bro…

Set it up like that one DE in Caladon Forest where you turn into crabs to fight a big crab except you become the mini with a few abilities.

I suggest that ANet let’s us have the ability to have Mini fights with our Minis like Pokemon or WoW Pet Battles.

All in all I found this to be a pretty balanced review that praised the latter half of season one, Aprils feature pack, while complimenting the quality of season twos writing; that being said most of us forum dwellers would agree with the criticisms as well.

This kind if clashes with what ANet was trying to do with the NPE, I guess I’ll just have to keep winging it; thankfully I prefer open world over 5mans.

Are there tutorial videos that show what basic animations mean for which type of action?

I was wondering if there are any add Ons available for this game that perform the same function as WoWs Deadly Boss mobs. I find as a Guardian I’m always winging it when it comes to setting up blocks, basically applying a block when ever I see the little shield up in my active buff window disappear, I also find my self clueless as to when to drop projectile blocks, my blind I usually just throw up when’s it off cd; probably the only thing I can actively follow is cleanses since I can see when conditions are active on my character so with troopers runes any shout makes them disappear.

If there isn’t any then could ANet add this functionality into their features since most new players will come here with a WoW background?

Sounds like Warrior is the profession for you, they have high survivability, decent burst/dps, they also have more range options than Guardians.

Personally I wouldn’t suggest a Guardian unless you’re used to playing a tank in traditional MMOs, Guardians do have high DPS as well but their true strength lies in their defensive support buffs, and active blocks (particularly their projectile blocks).

1) the guilt free open world zergs that feel like raiding with out the commitment

well….what will you guys do if the expansion doesnt come in 2015? i am sure that arenanet realized by now that they NEED an expansion in order for the game to progress in a grand scale. not only that, but the constant pressure being put on them by players, credible websites, popular sites, etc.

Releasing a boxed expansion has the risk to exclude players thus reduce their income even further. But i guess the company and the publisher already calculated with this and the option to release it via the LS or heck, maybe it can be purchased in the future with gems (read, it’s “free” if you convert gold into gems), who knows?

Sell it for Gems, then people could always play the game to exchange gold for the Gems.

So far this topics run for about a day with a lot of discussion, let’s see what ANet has to say.

I figured that if they had deleted the thread that would have been a way of sweeping it under the rug while trying to side step the attention of a major online MMO news site. (I would definitely screen shot it and sent in to Massively’s scoop email address or Anatoli’s email address [the guy that covers GW2 on that site])

If they ignore it this might be considered a no.

If we get a non committal response from Gail I’d take that as a positive sign that ANet has something up it’s sleeve.

Apparently the media thinks your going to at least announce a major expansion; the challenge as been set!

As much as I enjoy GW2 I can’t in good conscience vote for it because of their lack of communication with the player base.

This is not a criticism of ANets creative team or Devs this is a criticism of their pencil pushing managers.

Why is it that before I could finish a daily every morning before going to work just by leveling my character. Today I log in and see 2 of the options are Silver Wastes and Fractals; so much for ‘play how you want’; I guess if you are not lvl 80 you’re SOL because obviously I can’t run Fractals or Silver Wastes.

So basically Celestial Armor is god mode it looks like, has every singe stat under the sun; hell I might as well just craft an ascended version.

I see nothing wrong with it I have a blast in Orr and FSG, adding Dry Top and SW to my rotation keeps things fresh.

For those familiar with the show Trailerpark Boys might I suggest the name Gary Laser Eyes for a cat.
