I think it would be great for build diversity to have +25% base movement speed out of combat at max level.
Thank you very much for reading this suggestion! I hope you have a great day or afternoon or evening depending on your time zone!
All I know is after maxing out every profession except Guardian I have decided that characters that do not have a speed buff are not worth mastering. I get frustrated when I play slow characters, which is unfortunate because in at least one instance I love everything about this character but he is slow as molasses and he is Charr, so he feels even slower than he actually is.
I have crafted two characters to fairly high levels and I joined the game at around the same time (I crafted one character to 50 or 60). I needed those crafts anyways, so I crafted them to 450, and then used time gated ascended mats to get them to 475. These characters were alts so I didn’t feel an overwhelming need to play them and I created them to be characters that were maxed out on those particular crafts. I did this with my mesmer, she’s my cook and my jeweler.
It’s funny to read this thread compared to the multimap AB thread.
People on this thread don’t want anything changed cause they don’t want to lose the value of mats they have stored/or have increased supply cut into their profit.
People in the AB thread don’t want it nerfed cause it isn’t affecting anyone (their argument) or their gameplay so they say why should it be changed. Funny, cause if someone had previously stockpiled ecto, they have currenty lost more than 20% of the value of that due to the AB farm, and the price of ecto is still trending down.
I had stockpiled ectos in my account, most went into nevermore, but the value of my account did shrink because of the multi map. I have multi mapped myself, but I stopped doing it after I finished nevermore, and i wasn’t surprised that the price of ectos has nose dived. I believe this is a temporary problem as the new content is coming, perhaps new uses for ectos and people will be grinding the new content and won’t have as much time to multi map. On the other hand, doubling the amount of timegates is a permanent measure to take care of a problem that doesn’t exist. Exotic gear is adequate for this game. If you want ascended gear do what anet intended you to do, work for it. It is the true end game gear, it isn’t like they are coming out with something else, so you have plenty of time to make it.
I do not know if you’ve crafted at all yet. If you haven’t you have to level that up to 500 before you can craft ascended items. That is a costly thing to do, especially if you haven’t saved any of the materials that you will need to do it. If you’ve gotten your crafting up to 500 it depends on what you craft, as some have stated. A full set of ascended armor costs approximately between 500 to 600g depending on the stats and the weight. You can offset this cost greatly by farming as many mats as you can.
I don’t think these sorts of posts should be allowed because they aren’t about players helping players, they are about a player that is trying to help himself… otherwise you’d tell people in your opening comment how you make gold instead of trying to get us to hit your youtube channel. It is poor taste, really, and it is an abuse of this forum
As the title suggests…. I have over 100 unidentified dyes ankitten ot sure if i should sell them outright or gamble for something better. Any ideas?
I think it depends on how many dyes you have unlocked. I would probably open them because I enjoy seeing what colors are in them, but it probably isn’t the smart thing to do, Unidentified dyes are probably worth far more unidentified than they are once you open them.
Every time you complete a map you get either a Black Lion chest key (if you are lucky, those are coveted over transmutation charges) or a transmutation charge. You also get some materials that are of the same crafting level as the map you completed (things like ore, fabric, leather, etc), and a couple of pieces of gear that are the same combat level as the map you completed. Dyes are sometimes rewards for leveling up a character and for doing the personal story, you can also get them from a Black Lion chest.
I did a lot of research before choosing my profession, and it turned out I chose well. One of the most important things for me was survivablity. That was the number one reason I chose necromancer. I also liked the darkness of it, which was fun from a fantasy standpoint. I am a good person all day long, it is fun to play a dark being. Since Reaper came out necro is no longer the red headed stepchild of GW2. When I first started playing no one wanted a necro in their party. I can see why now I have been playing Reaper for so long, but that didn’t matter to me.
What I love about my Reaper after playing her 4000 hours? I love how versatile she is, how I can design different builds for different encounters and game modes. I love minions still. I love that playing her has become like walking in my own body, just automatic, I don’t put a lot of thought into it anymore. I love the greatsword and all of the elite skills. Still, the number one thing I love about her? She is a survivor. Today everyone in my squad went over a cliff with the commander. Everyone but me died. It was hilarious, like a herd of buffalo falling to its death. It was like the pile of bodies in Battle of the kittens… I was the only survivor. Thanks to ascended valk armor and being a Reaper.
If I didn’t have a necromancer I would get one of those, why? Because I main a Reaper. I have tried almost every class, and gotten every one except Guardian, and Reaper is just very versatile. Reapers are durable, they are not overly simplistic and there is a lot to mastering them, but you can play them without knowing all there is to know about them. In other words, you will survive even though you are learning how to use your Reaper. They do a decent amount of damage. Minions are a blast (actually, bone minions literally blast..lol)
The good news is it only takes a fraction of the time to do the reward track vs. map competition.
I fail to see how they are related timewise. We have to do both. Some players prefer PvE and would enjoy map completion more than a WvW reward track. Others prefer WvW and would enjoy 5+ reward tracks compared to map completion. But either way both players have to do both the reward track and map completion.
At least while doing map completion though you can go about collecting materials for the collection achievements for legendary crafting. You can’t do that in WvW
Not directly, but there is a small amount of items dropped and don’t some of the WvW tracks include mystic clovers?
Reward tracks in WvW are only a couple of weeks old, and those mystic clover rewards were probably added to entice legendary crafters to grind WvW. I get why anet has made this decision. WvW is dying because it lacks rewards, so they are giving WvW players PvE rewards and making PvE players do WvW in an attempt to keep it alive. What would work better is to have more quality loot, but for some reason they do not want to make WvW economically attractive.
I’m putting all of my legendary weapon projects on indefinite hiatus because of this. Zerged around for a while in WvW, barely made any progress, and left feeling utterly drained.
If you did an hour of Edge of Mists each night for your Dailies you get WvW potions, these potions give you track reward points, each one gets you a chest. Of course getting those Dailies means finding a player with a commander tag that also knows what they are doing, depending on your server it shouldn’t be that hard to do.
How are any of the things that reward participation for the reward tracks not doing “proper WvW”? You could obtain badges from the AP chests without having to ever step foot into WvW. So no, badges were not necessarily earned by doing “proper WvW”.
Legendary weapons are not a PvE only task. At launch, players had to do WvW to get badges. This often took longer than 8 hours to get enough badges for the gift.
I haven’t been playing this game since launch, but my understanding of Legendary Weapons is that they are primarily a PvE activity, which makes sense because most collections are PvE endeavors.
Hi,
im was waiting two nighttime cycles at the graveyard of shaemoor and i couldnt see any fog. The White Lady quest dont appear.
Is it bugged or a very rare event, so i have to look and wait every nighttime till it may happens?
Best regards
The Gravedigger
I just started this collection and I glided through the cemetery above Shaemoor and I got it. I do not recall seeing a white lady when I got it, and I wasn’t trying to get it. I haven’t even looked at what I need for the collection yet.
The Champs are annoying with too few people. and…I’ve killed the Legendary Executioner twice, both long and extended fights . One time I got 7 Sticks of Butter the 2nd time I got the exotic widget -meh. I’ll continue to kill the Champs but I’m a leaver if an Executioner pops, it’s bad design and not worth my time. If you are going to call a Boss “Legendary” the drop should be more than 7 Sticks of Butter. Anet really?? Butter??
Tyria’s bandits are known for their love of butter.
And onions, you will always find onions growing around bandit camps…lol
Temvay the Arrogant dashes around so much you can barely hit him, Varre the Underhanded puts out so much nearly undodgeable damage that he can wipe a group of 50 before hitting half health, and the list goes on. And that doesn’t even bring me to the Executioner, who can 1 hit most classes regardless of armor. Who thought these were balanced to the level adjustment that we are fighting under? Even with level 80 equipment we are seeing full 50 person squads wiping on these multiple times. The damage output and low dodgeability and rapidity of the damage is insane for how much health we have to work with.
I died with many of these bosses when Bounty first started. I rarely die now I have become accustomed to it, and usually because I didn’t wait for more than two or three people to show up, once there are 4 it is pretty doable. I might have to rez a few people repeatedly, but it gets done. I am a pretty tough skinned by design (Reaper with valk ascended), but I am not the only person surviving most of these encounters. I am glad it isn’t really easy and almost pointless… when the Executioner shows up it often wipes, but it is designed to be that way.
then don’t do the mission.
That is not acceptable, everyone deserves to play the content they like.
It wasn’t a very diplomatic response, but even though in an ideal world everyone deserves to do fun things that they’d like to do, not everyone can. If something causes a person to have seizures I don’t know what else can be done about that. I remember reading a story about a certain song that caused seizures in this person. It was the theme song to a television show. Is that song supposed to be changed because one person has seizures? Wouldn’t it be easier for that person to not watch that show?
On a dozen or so occasions I have waited longer than anyone else in Dragon Stand for reset only to not be able to make it into the next meta map. That is about the worst design imaginable, allowing people that got there later to get into the map, excluding those who waited the longest… all because their internet connection is a little slower than someone else’s.
You know that the daily PvE events system hates you when it hands you an activity, a HoT adventure, HoT events and Orr gathering all in one go.
;p
Edge of Mists is your friend, especially since it now comes with reward tracks for dungeon skins… yay! I haven’t worried about what was on the Daily PvE list in weeks. I am free!
I have a hard time changing the face of characters I have invested in. It is like they become familiar friends.. although the hair is totally on the table for changing if they introduce some good styles. I have a kit in my bank just waiting for a new hairdo.
Increasing the amount of ascended materials that players could refine would tank the market.
Is that really a good reason not to do it though? Do you think your average player cares about “the market”? And lets not kid ourselves they will still be quite valuable.
A huge portion of the value of my account is stockpiled ascended timegated materials. I store extra mats into the timegated components instead of selling them. If I ever need them to craft I am ready to go. I would be upset if anet nerfed my hard work because people wanted to make getting legendaries cheaper and make them more easy to acquire. Lets face it, if you could craft it even more quickly it would reduce the value of the precursor market as well, both markets would suffer as prices of looted precursors would crash along with the price of ascended mats. Basically what you are proposing would take a slice out of the value of every account that had invested in crafting and every person that had worked very hard to get legendaries. I don’t think that is fair, in fact if they did that I would quit this game in a heartbeat because I would find it a slap in the face.
I am sorry for your condition. I have autoimmune issues, suspected lupus. I have had a flare that has lasted since I brought my cat inside full time because she is getting too old to remain outside. This started a couple of years ago. I am allergic to her, I know having her inside will make me sick. I am fairly much disabled by my condition, and I know it isn’t going to get better as long as my cat lives, yet I have no other option in my mind. So, I know how it feels to do something that makes me sick, yet I am doing it anyways. There is no one I can complain to that will make my issue better. People have given you options on this thread, I hope one of them works for you, because anet changing their game for you isn’t really a good option.
The starter skirt for human light armor is one of my favorite items in the game. I don’t think we stay in any armor long enough for it to matter to be honest. Most of the time I am upleveling I just wear whatever the game throws at me until I hit 80
I love to craft, but their crafting organization is really really bad. For example, If you close the arrow for stuff you are not actively doing (maybe you aren’t making armor or weapons, etc) it doesn’t stay closed, you have to close it again each time you open it. So if you make a legendary weapon, the legendary components will always show, even if you aren’t making it anymore. It makes finding what you want to do harder and harder the more you craft and it increases mistakes. I’ve literally lost probably 100 gold from hitting the wrong thing while crafting, all because it is disorganized
I’d like to see an assassin or ninja type profession. They could have weapons that would make them silent, things like throwable stars and daggers, and nunchucks. I know that thieves are kinda like this, but I see this as being a light armor profession, no guns, or heavy combat sort of weapons like the thief has. Also a little less squishy than the thief, having more sustainable damage, one or two bursting mechanics.
I minored in geography, my problem with the maps in GW2 isn’t the maps themselves. They are beautifully rendered in my opinion. My problem with the geography is the way that each map is separated from the other. Regions do not come in neat little squares and rectangles . There is no way that the geography looks natural when you look at the world map. Regions are usually separated by large bodies of water, rivers, glaciers, deserts, and mountains. In Tyria every region is surrounded by mountains. It is frankly odd. I get why they did it that way, but part of me is wondering if they could have figured out some other way to form the boundaries of these maps. Dragon Stand and Tangled Depths aren’t like this, at least. Tangled Depths is probably the best map as far as natural map demarcation
I don’t know about the boosters but as to the search, check the FAQ sticky at the top of this forum on the search issue. Or just do google searches for “gw2 forums (thread topic here).”
The third party contractor who made the forums is long gone and ANet hasn’t had the resources to redo the work to get forums with a functional search feature.
Thank you! I thought there was something wrong with how I was doing it…lol
I don’t belong to a WvW guild and I doubt one would want me just so I could take their boosters when I grind out a couple more Gifts of Battle.
I wish I knew how to search this forum for answers to my questions. Every time I have done a search on this site it comes back with zero results.
What you are suggesting would affect my game play because the waypoints would be open on all of my alts. I don’t want them open. I want to have to work to complete the map.
My point still remains, there are many things that you can get from your reward tracks that are PvE rewards, but the opposite isn’t really true for WvW and PvP rewards. I can’t get the armor and weapons that are from those portions of the game, but you can get many of the PvE ones. I don’t really care that you can get it, it doesn’t impact my game. I was rather miffed that they took the merchant that sold Gift of Battle away because I had saved up the currency to buy it.
I am all for people having more ways to play their game and get rewards, but waypoints in the PvE portion of the game shouldn’t be nerfed because you don’t want to go to Lion’s Arch and do a little running
Edited to add, PvPers and WvWers get so many tombs of knowledge and so many currencies to buy hero points that they really do not have much call to engage in PvE, so I can imagine it must be annoying to have to go run to a waypoint when you happen to need to be in our world for a few minutes, I totally get it, I wouldn’t step foot in PvP for anything. I’d quit the game first.

I was wondering if I should save my experience boosters for grinding WvW when I need my next Gift of Battle. Does it give WvW reward track tick boosts, or does that just apply to PvP? It didn’t specifically name the WvW reward track in the description, but it just seems odd that it wouldn’t considering that it is basically the same reward tracks in both areas of the game.
I wasn’t suggesting Reward Tracks in PvE, but Rewards Tracks for PvE in PvP and WvW, players who want to do as little of their playing time as possible in PvE would I image appreciate it.
Yet, if you are a PvE player, you have to play PvP and WvW if you want to make a legendary weapon etc, so I don’t see why things need to be made even easier than they already are. Next thing people will be asking for the game to just play it’s self and a I win button.
What part of PvP, that isn’t WvW must one do to create a Legendary? I’m not familiar with all the steps.
We have to do a WvW reward track for Gift of Battle.
Here is a list of things that you can get from your reward tracks that comes from PvE. You can get cultural armor, dungeon armor, and hero points. There is no equivalent to get PvP or WvW stuff in PvE environment. We used to be able to farm the personal story for the currencies to buy Gift of Battle, but anet stopped that. It took me hours and hours to get Gift of Battle by grinding EoM… I don’t like killing other players. I like it less than you probably like opening waypoints
I just finished Nevermore and I thought I might feel burned out, like there was nothing to do, and I decided to hunt for achievements and grind Edge of Mists reward track for skins that I like. I finished crafting ascended for all three weights, backpieces, I have all the ascended trinkets I could use. I have lots of ascended weapons, and I have all my crafting completely leveled. I needed to take a break from crafting, which is basically why I bought the game in the first place. My next step is to make Mawdry, max out Scribe for achievement points, etc. My big goal is to chase achievement points until I have completed the Zenith collection. This is going to take a long long time
If you want to shop for a skin on a budget, one of my favorite staff skins is Final Rest. I also love the Pact staff, which has a skull that glows. It says it was designed by Tybalt Leftpaw, as well, which made me like it even more. Some of the specialization staffs are really pretty, as well. The Druid Staff is very attractive, for example. It is also ascended
When you are capping out your crafting disciplines these mats come in handy. You can refine the ore from level 450 to 475 for crafting XP. It does cost obsidian to do this, but it is really expensive to level up crafting from 450 to 500, so refining these items into ingots and stars is a really smart thing to do. If you aren’t into crafting I suppose they’d be worse than useless to you.
I wanted to thank everyone for responding. I did get Nevermore done. I really appreciate all the responses.
Each profession and each race gives you a different experience with map completion. I have actually completed the map on 4 different characters and had a different experience with each one. If you don’t want to do map exploration, don’t do it, as some have said. There are many ways to get around the map prior to unlocking all of the waypoints. You do not have to have all of the waypoints unlocked to have some functionality with getting places anyways. I have 20 teleport to a friend boosts sitting in my bank taking up space. I’ve only used them once. It really isn’t hard to get around the map, and if it bores you so much, don’t make new characters.
I had noticed getting more keys dropped for map completion, more junk loot in the BL chests. Hard to know if I am an anomaly, but I totally understand the disappointment of opening a bunch of BL chests and getting nothing exciting. You know, something like a BL weapon skin, a miniature, something besides merch expresses, bank access, or a bl salvage kit (no matter how useful those are). I would feel ripped off if I had bought those keys.
If they did change the formula for what drops from those chests it is a big mistake. Those chests are a money maker for them and many people will quit buying those keys if they only get junk. It doesn’t have to be valuable necessarily, just fun. Something like an unidentified dye, much better than boosters.
I just finished Nevermore. I totally understand your ire, I had to go and grind obsidian for 6 hours just to finish, and I spent 20 laurels on a karma infusion so I could shorten the grind. That being said I recently found out that WvW has a track that rewards mystic clovers. I had 50 of them saved up from other sources before I even got to the mystic forge, my primary source was the last daily log in reward chest. They give you the option to get legendary materials, and I have been taking that option for 6 months. Legendary weapons are supposed to require planning and some level of sacrifice. I knew I was going to need those clovers so I planned accordingly. Even at that I was short 27 and I burned through all my mystic coins I had saved for this purpose (150 of them) and about half a million karma.
I’ve had player noise effects off for so long I didn’t even know legendaries made noises, and I have one. Seriously, it was one of the first things I learned how to do in the settings. I did it to not have to listen to Christmas noises. Occasionally I will see a player with musical notes around them, but I am never tempted to turn on the noise so I can see what I am missing. People troll with sound effects and I find them anxiety provoking as well as irritating.
I bought Guild Wars 2 in September because I wanted to craft Nevermore. I liked the idea that I would have to basically have to complete all the maps, try every game mode, finish most of the masteries just to be able to get a chance to craft this staff. I did not see it as a grind, I saw it as the entire point of this game. It took me 10 months to complete, and I finished Nevermore a couple of days ago. I love this weapon. What I love most about it is the sense of accomplishment that it represents to me. Yes, sometimes I was frustrated because I had trouble completing masteries, I had to play in game modes that were unfamiliar, I had to reach out to other players to help me complete certain tasks, but it was worth it to me. Whenever I see an HoT legendary I know that the person who crafted it didn’t buy it on the TP. They had to work for it, just like I worked for mine. It isn’t just that it is a pretty skin (and it is a pretty skin), it is knowing I accomplished a long term goal and it can’t be bought. It has to be earned on multiple levels. Actually, getting the mats to craft it was the easiest thing about making Nevermore.
I don’t understand why some people are jealous of other people’s hard earned accomplishments. Since you do not feel like doing the work that means it should just be handed to you? There are so many awesome skins in this game. I am currently looking for a good skin for my greatsword because I don’t like the legendary greatsword. There are so many wonderful options I am not sure which one to go with to be honest. It is a little ridiculous that there are literally thousands of skins, many of them gorgeous, but you have to have the one that requires the work, but you aren’t willing to work for it.
I just finished Nevermore and the last collection has you doing more low level fractals. It would be well worth your while to earn some fractal relics and get yourself a simple infusion and a trinket to put it in. You can buy one with laurels
OMG… Thank you! Thank You! Something as simple as where to find the reward track was impossible for me to find when I looked at the wikis and youtube videos I watched. This was soooo helpful!
Perhaps a guardian? They aren’t casters, they do decent dps, and they aren’t particularly squishy so you won’t die very easily.
I just found out I have to do a reward track for the Gift of Battle. I have done some cursory reading, but it is all Greek to me as I haven’t ever been interested in having other players kill me or in killing other players. But, I have do to it, or waste a 1000 gold.
I didn’t come here to whine (no matter how tempting it is), what I would love to know is do I have to belong to a guild to do WvW? What is a reward track? I don’t understand how to make sure I am on the right reward track, because I do not want to waste time on the wrong one. Basically, I don’t get what I am doing, so if someone would have mercy on me and just explain a couple of key items I will go off into the Mists were I can get pwned over and over again until I get what I need.
I just discovered that I can no longer get the Gift of Battle with my stockpiled Badges of Honor, and now I have to grind WvW to get my legendary weapon. I was just crafting it when I discovered this. What a let down and a disappointment. It wasn’t bad enough I grinded endlessly to craft nevermore in maps I do not enjoy, now anet in their infinite wisdom has created more grind, I am really bummed.
Does anyone have any insight on how to level up the fastest way in WvW, do I have to belong to a guild that does WvW, or can I just pug it? I am majorly sad, I thought I was going to have my staff today.
I figured it out. I don’t know if the mods want to delete this.
Bellatrix,
I am not that good at quoting to go through and sort your quotes. My frustrated tears were not because of a greatsword, how condescending of you to say that, my tears were because I’d invested so many hours and a lot of money in this game and the endgame content was gated behind tasks I couldn’t do, not because I suck, or because I was lazy, but because my computer graphics couldn’t do the game after I had been told that they could when I bought it months before. My point was not about nerfing the achievements. It is about significant portions of endgame content gated behind tasks that require jumping or flying with precision. I belong to an all woman’s group. There is a significant proportion of these players that can’t do jumping puzzles because their PC won’t support it. They just don’t get the achievements because they can’t afford a new PC.
Again, this isn’t about the Dailies, spending your evening doing a jumping puzzle you have trouble with isn’t worth the 2 gold. I can make 2 gold in a very short amount of time in this game doing something I like, why would I waste valuable time on something I hate? Something I fail at? My PC still needs a CPU, it is significantly better, but it still isn’t up to adventures. I don’t like to do things I am not good at and have no prayer of being good at.
I bought the game to make legendary weapons. That is my endgame content. I have accepted the fact that I have to do jumping puzzles to get this. I will say that the frustration of doing these tasks has led to me saying out loud “I hate this(insert expletive) game” repeatedly while I am doing stuff I literally hate. The more content that they add that I don’t want to do, the less likely I am to invest my time in this game, give them money in the gem store, buy an expansion. I am not alone in this. People just log off and don’t come back, they don’t come to the forum and complain about it. It is sad, because so much of the game could be really fun, but forcing us to do things we hate won’t make us love the game and continue to play it.
I am actively looking for guilds to do fractals with. Again, condescending attitude on your part, there are lots of people in this universe that have social anxiety and putting up with negative people causes them anxiety issues, particularly when trying to do a new task. I don’t have social anxiety, but I have compassion for those who do. This is also something that comes up in a GW2 group I belong to on facebook. Personally, I just don’t tolerate jerks. I block them and move on in map chat. Like I said, I have tried pugging fractals repeatedly for dailies, why subject myself to the jerks that are a huge proportion of pug dailies?
Basically, gating huge portions of content behind jumping puzzles is a recipe to having a game people fail at. Enough people fail at your game, they won’t be playing it anymore. I don’t want nerfs, I just don’t want story achievements, legendary quests, etc, to be gated behind them because the developers don’t know how to write a real legendary quest, or formulate a real personal story achievement. The core personal stories were genius. Living Story and HoT are laughable in comparison. I got the masteries I need, I won’t be repeating them.

And if you get a Daily rotation with a JP, a Daily Activity, and an Adventure, you might as well not have any option. I won’t do a fractal daily, I tried that once, I do not know fractals and people who do them for Dailies are impatient with newbies. WvW is confusing to me, and PvP seems to be a really nasty place, I have heard they treat newbies like garbage.
I know this thread isn’t necessarily about dailies, but for anyone who runs into an issue like this I strongly recommend PvP Daily rooms. They are custom maps maintained by players who don’t enjoy PvP and most of them are accessible to everyone. Not only do you get at least 3 easy dailies within 1-2 rounds, (typically 4 dailies as long as “complete a match in unranked/ranked arena” isn’t one of them) you also earn reward tracks that give you various dungeon/PvE map specific currencies and weapon/armor skins. If anyone is curious I made an introduction video here: PvP Daily Rooms
Very accessible and friendly to newbies, I’ve always found people are willing to walk you through how a room works if you say you’re new and you ask. And if hitting people and jumping off ledges like in the video is still too much “PvP” for you there are rooms where people literally stand around and trade capturing capture points without hitting anyone at all unless there are volunteers.
Just posting this hoping it helps some players out. 3 out of 4 dailies can be asking a lot, but this might make it 3 out of 8 for a lot of people.
Thanks for the info, I will give it a try when I find the offering for Dailies something I really don’t want to do.
I play Reaper greatsword, alternate staff. It is a little slow, but she has great CC capabilities in Reapershroud, which is nice in PvE
What I have taken to doing is crafting the time gated elements every single day. It helps me to store my extra silk, mithril, and thick leather. We get lots of it, and it doesn’t sell for much (especially mithril), so by storing the extra in the time gates It helps me to craft what I want when I want it. And if you ever need a large sum of gold, you can always sell off your ascended materials after you make them into damask or elonian leather. I don’t know if my info is helpful, it is just one more strategy to save more mats than a pile of 250. Considering you lose about 15% from every transaction when you sell something, it could help you save gold in the future if you took to doing this.
