Will we be notified for when the game crashes for various GPUs will be fixed?

I have the same problem (same GPU).
Somewhere I read that it was a problem with 32-bit systems and a GTX card.
No idea what the status of the fix is.
Lucky the game re-starts very fast, so it’s not a huge game breaker
I almost finished my cultural Tier 1 armor at level 36.
The key for me was to sell a lot of crafting materials in the TP. Especially copper and Jute scraps sell for a very good price. I just ran through queensdale and killed as much as I could to get all kind of decent sell-able drops =)
You could get from lvl 300 to 400 crafting with only 30 silver?
well, you still need loads of gold for that, and that is also not really easy to get. (yes you can use RL money for that, but I have no idea why one would want to do that anyway)
But then again, it was never the idea that is was very hard to get the best gear in the game.
(it IS however very hard to get the best looking gear)
I don’t agree. It’s not in the philosophy of the game to make crafting a grind. so no 0.X% chance to get the item you want after gathering hundreds of crafting materials for this item.
But to get to max rank here you still need to actually get your crafting materials, which is not an easy or quick task. Being able to actually craft that legendary gear should be rewarding enough on its own imho.
You want crafting to be more of a grind?
I would love to see PvP and Pvmonster matches in “the bane” in the black citadel… It’s just too perfect for that. It even includes seats for spectators.
If I remember correctly there is no POI inside the bane (fighting area) itself…. might Anet be planning something in this direction already?
About buying Gems with ingame coin.
Instead of asking us how much money we want to spend on buying gems, ask us how many gems we want to buy.
My main concern is this: What if a gem costs, say, 50 copper, and I put 1silver and 75 copper in the box to buy gems, then I get 3 gems, but that would costs me only 1s50c. Then what happens with my 25 copper I put in too much?
I anyone actually against this? O.o
did you type /g or /guild before? The colour of your text should change.
other options are
/say (local)
/map (full map)
/party (this is for the party only)
edit: I misread your question, did you check ‘represent’ in the guild window? So that your character becomes a member of that guild?
I’m actually below my capacity (lvl 33 in a lvl 26 area with proper gear).
Most of the time it is fine and I have no problem. But sometimes, suddenly there are enemies nearly right on top of me.
It is especially annoying during a tough boss/champion fight to have suddenly enemy mobs appearing right next to you. (especially as a caster!)
mmmm I think it was Aion or so where the player could actually set up its own shop for some time. And I don’t think that was very bad idea.
It would at least solve some backdraw of the trading post. Most stuff will hardly sell there, since nobody is actually actively looking for that one specific object (and thus will never be noted).Games that implemented these just ended up with dozens upon dozens of people AFK in the middle of congregation points with little popups over their heads.
That’s why I was a bit hesitant to suggest it. (beside the fact that some people will just ask crazy & silly prices for their goods)
I don’t think it is there yet (it wasn’t in BWE3 at least); a special emote for drinking! Now you don’t get any benefit for drinking, so at least let us see the emote (and it would be great for roleplaying I guess)

Sometimes its crazy yes. They just appear right on top of you without warning. I would love to see some ‘grace-radius’ around me where mobs don’t respawn (especially when I’m in battle with some boss or veteran).
I also had the problem (and still have) that during an intense battle my fingers end up in a big knot ;-)
I did bind the 7-8-9 skills to bottoms on my mouse the ultimate to an alternative key somewhere below my pink. That does really help, so I can only suggest doing exactly that (rebind the hotkeys) =)
mmmm,
somehow no word of this in the wiki… I guess I will take a look at this when I am in-game.
It would make me sad if you were right… but I would be triple impressed when I see someone in the AC-unique armour! (/kneel)
I really do hope that tokens will become account bound rather than character bound.
When I do the math right you can get the full AC armour set in 14 runs (41tokens/run according to the wiki) (after 13 you are just 2 tokens short! ).
You can get the small armour pieces (headgear) after one run already!
41 tokens / run from here http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ascalonian_Emblem
So… I don’t think it is really that bad. (please correct me if I’m wrong)
And well, if you want the unique ones.. well, then you really gotta work for it. (I mean, they are called unique for a reason)
Edit: It seems I am wrong, rare is a generic skin I just read :’(
(edited by Plunder.8195)
(…)
You will need 1,200 tokens for a full exotic set.
(…)
Here I see both a rare and an exotic set ( http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ascalonian_Catacombs_armor ). It is not clear to me, but doesn’t the rare costs a lot less and has the same skin as the exotic? That would significantly reduce the number of dungeon-runs needed for just the skin of the armour.
Or is there some caveat that I am not aware of?
Why do you want to reach lvl 80 so fast anyway?
No, only your racial skills are different, and those are only available in WvWvW & PvE
At least next time you spam the map-chat include the “Y”-option so that everybody learns about it ;-)
I agree it’s a bit too hidden at the moment
If I remember correctly there is a LFG feature somewhere. I think if you press ‘Y’ there is a tab where you can see who is looking for a group.
edit: here it is http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Contacts
Agree, I tried ‘breaking the blade’ with my human thief and was wiped 4 times. I even tried it with a mesmer friend and got wiped (but we could finish it finally from the re-spawn point). The NPC died at the first boss so no way to get rid of the aggro.
(It’s a level 10 quest, so it shouldn’t have a very high skill cap being in the beginner levels). I don’t know how other classes did in this quest.
Personally I think this quest should have a bit of nerving
(or at least have Logan come out of hiding when I’m dying at his feet )
(edit: why do my spoiler tags not work?)
