Just googled that… and wow that is some horrible music.
But rock on buddy.
Lady Kasmeer turns corrupt from that little prick in the Tower. She is turning slowly into a minion and has been for some time but was hiding it with her Mesmer abilities. As she continues her descent into corruption she starts to hear the voice of Mordremoth and is slowly losing her mind. All this ties into the the LSS1 Scarlet story arch and tries to get the player to sympathies with Scarlet a bit ( a way to retroactively add depth to Scarlet).
The zones unlock as we hunt after Kasmeer while she wanders the wildreness and waste of Maguuma. The entire time encountering stronger forces of Mordremoth, we get ever closer to the dragon’s lair. The Sylvair begin to understand their true place in Tyria and struggle to remain pure. Their “pure and innocent” characteristic is soiled a bit as the Nightmare Court gain prominence under Mordremoth’s direction. Their disconnection from the Mother has opened them to a unique form of corruption.
… that or we get some little cut scene and talk to the biconics about life, being lesbians, crippled, furry, or a real “bro”. Then we go to South Sun for some drinks and enjoy a well deserved summer break. idk.
Mounts in GW2…
well if they are ever introduced I’m guessing they would just be cosmetic. Maybe some basic speed skills, but nothing more than any professions got already. No combat option.
If that’s how they were introduced I’d like it. I really like cosmetic additions.
I’d say it’s safe to say it cost an an expansion worth of content. Real content. New zones, races, stories. Not the temporary meta grind that LSS1 was.
However, LSS2 sounds like it’s going to be a lot better with new zones and a dragon to fight but I’m going to take a wait and see approach.
Oh, also if you aren’t using the Triple Necro build on your heros you should. It will pretty much let you roll over everything in your way.
(Warning, some of DoomBox’s videos feel pretty dated. Still really good info)

I highly recommend DoomBox. His videos helped me understand GW1 and how to accomplish a lot. Plus, he is pretty dang entertaining.

I can sum it up for ya’
Crappy story not worth remembering. Then a dragon wakes up.
I was playing and was fighting on a cliff edge with a vet that had a knock back that sent me hurtling over the edge. Yes I had already used my stability to save me from that once and it was on cool down. Yet when I used my knock back the vet got sent flying, but at the last possible second he does not go off the edge, oh no, all the npc’s are allowed to not be knocked off the edge.
Which got me thinking of a new idea for GW2. A Downed state for knocking someone off an edge in all areas of the game. NO I do not mean that where you go splat that you go into a downed state. I mean a new downed state that you will latch onto the edge of the cliff in a last ditch effort to save your life. It will sort of act the same as going into a downed state except these new skills will be sort of thought out to help pull yourself back up. I would think you would have a couple of skills that act the same for all players and a couple that are profession based. I haven’t thought out what these skills might be, so feel free to add your suggestion of what these could be for each profession.
And to give some indication of what I am talking about, here is a video from the KungkittenPanda movie that I think might help some people visualize what I mean.

wow…
very nice idea. well done.

I love housing, guild halls, and farms. I love customization and depth in an MMO and GW2 needs both imo (not everyone will agree.. duh).
The problem with Guild Halls tends to be the separation of the community. Or at least that’s what’s most commonly sited as reason not to include it. However, in GW1 I don’t remember seeing LA or Spamadan lacking a population. That probably has something to do with GW1 lacking a trading post though.
So to keep these cities from going the way of the dinosaur how making the guild halls as parts of each city. Maybe make the “home instances” under the control of whatever guild you are representing and allow players from that guild the ability to purchase homes located in the instance.
Maybe for really large guilds have an option to buy (new zone) your guild’s zone. So it has houses and guild halls and special guild only missions in it. This way guild can turn the instance into a PvP zone or PvE zone.
Love the idea OP. This would be an epic addition to the game.
I wish they would release something. I would be fine with a Gem Store Race Unlock too. I would prefer a full fledged expansion but I’ll take what I can get.
Heck, I’d even be ok with a Racial Costume at this point.
700 Gems = One new racial costume. (Tengu, Kodan ,Largos, Centaur, Skritt, etc, etc)
But I suspect if they do that we won’t see that race as actually playable anytime soon…
Nope.
It’s called “stat padding” and in the end it’s meaningless. They will be high rank and getting stomped out by average players. If they are doing it to farm loots… well they are wasting a HUGE amount of time that could be spend elsewhere on a far more efficient farm.
Yes please.
I’m sick of account bound as well but let’s start with getting rid of soul bound first.
If they shared the same style they’d be like any other skin set.
Also, less rainbows and unicorns, ty.
+1
O_O
I was thinking we had WAY too many rainbows already. But the more variety the better I suppose.
The Tower of Nightmares. It seemed like LSS1 really turned around at that point.
Did google a bit more, and it seems non of those t-shirts are available anymore. Scandalous
Where they ever available?
Their is a website specifically for nodes in the game where you type /ip in the chat. It shows you where all the nodes are in the current instance you spawned in. I hope someone has made something similar for events. Not only for the Temple ones but for all of them. I don’t know though.
I would wait until 7/1/14. So just a few weeks and a lot should be going on. We are all (well a lot of us anyway) are expecting some new maps and the Living Story Season 2 to kick off. Guild Missions are also a lot of fun. I’m also a big fan of the world boss runs. The loot is pretty good and you can meet of neat part of the players doing it.
Their is also a new PvP track that is kind of neat. Their is also the combination of PvP and PvE gear in the wardrobe.
http://dulfy.net/2014/03/28/gw2-pvp-rewards-revamp-and-reward-tracks/
I still want
1.) Hylek
2.) Tengu
3.) Kodan
4.) Skritt
5.) Dwarves
In that order preferably, but I’ll take what I can get at this point. I’m pretty sure if we are getting new races ever that Tengu would be first. From what I remember a lot of the assets for them were pretty much built… well sort of. Kodan seem to be an obvious second on ANets list because their close ties in lore and the events with the Norn and Jormag. The rest could be just a pipe dream to be completely honest.
Hylek would be a pain in the butt to redo all the armor on. Dwarfs have a TON of lore difficulty to deal with. Skritt seem pretty easy to rework. They could be a solid 3rd or 4th. Largos are a nice “dark elf” addition to the game. People in general seem to be all for them. The Centaurs would have a lot to overcome. I think ANet commented on how difficult it would be to actually have them as playable (Still they would be kind of neat). As far as adding undead goes I don’t think we have any comments from ANet one way or the other.
Personally I would like AS MANY RACES AS POSSIBLE. I love diversity in MMOs and am a big fan of creative freedom fro the player. More races, More classes, more weapons, and more zones. I am also well aware how much that is asking and it’s a LOT.
Last I heard of them was here.

I honestly don’t think they ever got released… idk
(edited by Prophet.6257)
No bars, I want largos and krait.
But of those likely to have a chance of becoming playable, aside from totally new races, there is only largos, kodan, and tengu to really choose from. Maybe Joko’s undead. Maybe.
Risen, I want an undead thief to add to my collection of thieves.
Kinda surprised there’s only one vote for this so far.
Why wouldn’t the death of Zhaitan perhaps leave a few of the undead with free will? Seems reasonable to me, and while it’s been done before the undead are usually mighty, mighty popular amongst players, creative or not…
Personally, though, I’d pay for a Skritt.
As seen in Arab explorable, Zhaitan’s defeat hasn’t altered the risen’s personality at all.
If people want undead, the only chance they have is Joko’s nation of living and undead in Elona.
That’s a great point. I wonder what Joko is up to these days. I always liked that character.
Undead could work in that instance but I hope it has some sort of different spin on it than the Risen. I don’t really have a way in mind but im sure Anet could figure osmething cool out.
I don’t see how killing off another one of the ancient races actually adds anything to the game (addition by subtraction?) Unless they are trying to cut all ties to the past for in game characters and I concede that may be possible.
Jotun (idiots)
Mursaat (evil and hidden)
Forgotten (no where to be seen, maybe dead)
Seer (dead)
Dwarfs (sure lets kill of the last ties to Tyria’s past)I think the argument can be made why they shouldn’t be playable for reasons some of the previous posters have stated to add a more serious tone to the story, but how much will it really add? Making a race that VERY few of the player base has actually encountered in GW2’s Tyria finally snuffed out? Sure people that have followed the lore from GW1 will recognize it but I would argue several GW1 players (well in my circles at least) wanted to play as the dwarfs in GW2 not see them killed off.
Also, GW2 does not use a consistent serious tone. You can argue they should but currently it’s more lighthearted with the occasional bit of seriousness sprinkled in. The art design alone makes the game come across and “playful” and “fun”.
You forgot Margonite. I have no clue what happened to them when Abaddon died… do they still exist, cause hell, concept art looks beautiful.
Also, can you imagine Margonite + Chronomancer (see picture 2).
O_O
These would be so awesome to play as. They just look so freakin’ cool.
Yeah, souldbound needs to be scrapped. I wish the whole accountbound thing would disappear too but let’s start with scrapping souldbound.

Agreed.
I’m not expecting dwarfs anytime soon (if ever) but it is well within ANets ability and general fantasy reason to have the dwarfs return as a playable race. Nothing is ever permanent in a fantasy world. Things may be unlikely and not what certain players/readers/viewers/etc want but that doesn’t disqualify them. In fact I would say it makes them a bigger surprise and adds more gripping lore.
No offence but what you guys are talking about is often considered bad story writing. When something is stated as being permanent in any genre of story writing and then the writer falls back on that its basically the same as a lie. It also as I stated normally comes about as a Deus ex Machina, God of the Machine. In other words it takes an act of god to revert something. When a story uses such a mechanic the story always seems to fall flat and ends in an anticlimactic way.
Permanence in a fantasy makes for a better story. And yes permanence is permanent in fantasy story’s. The ones that go against that have always felt anticlimactic and dull.
What are you talking about?
Surprising the audience, come backs, plot twist, etc. make stories exciting. Right when everything seems lost and the audience thinks it’s all over then BAM! Something unexpected and against what “should happen” does. That makes a story worth experiencing. It’s not about being predictable and everything going the way it should or the way people expect it to. Predictability is bad story telling.
But honestly, it has nothing to do with good or bad writing. You can kill off characters or have a surprise return. Both ways are perfectly inline with creating a good story.
When a decision is made by ANet it will be because it’s what they wanted to happen or because it’s what the community demanded. They have stated time and again they are not chained by past decision and are very willing to redo whatever needs to be redone.
Ele’s already have a staff perfectly suited to their class, Bifrost. It was pretty much designed exclusively for Ele.
The next legendary staff and Scepter (also made for ele’s) should be geared towards necromancers who currently look absurd when wielding the ele legendaries.
Something dark with a black or green cloud effect.
How in the world was the rainbow lollipop designed specifically for eles?
If it was a staff specifically displaying one or all of the elements then sure but rainbows and a giant white strippers pole… come on now.
I do like your idea for a darker staff though. I wish they had some more legendaries for the light armor classes that were a LOT more gritty.
centaurs (white, normal ones), krait, skritt quaggan….all the fun races..they should make a fun races pack…
White normal ones…
lol
Seriously though I would like a fun race pack. I would pay some gems to build a unique racial character.
Dwarves were turned to stone in an event similar to the numerous mythological/theological “End Times” events. They essentially went to their final war. If Anet were to just turn around and say “Alright boys we are done here lets head back.” it would break the whole concept behind their sacrifice. If they did it would be a deus ex machina scenario and they would lose a lot of hard built lore. They have also stated dwarves will not be playable because they are way over done. They will most likely stay as a background character for when we go engage Primordus.
Are Dwarves going to be a playable race? Most likely not.
However I argue against posters stating that it would be impossible, as nothing is impossible in fantasy fiction. Improbable, yes. Impossible, no. The likelihood of them being playable at any time rests more on whether ArenaNet/NCsoft would want them. Though you’ve said they don’t want them, and I believe you, I don’t believe them anymore. They’ve gone back on their word so many times I don’t think they know what they want.Just because we can’t come up with a creative reason as to why or how dwarves could come back into the GW universe, doesn’t mean there isn’t one. “End times”, sure. “Dead”, sure. “Great Dwarf”, sure.
With that said – Rebirth is a common theme in fantasy fiction, not exclusive to the phoenix.
Agreed.

So, I’ve been thinking, I believe that many elementalists love staffs (maybe not the staff skills, but the staff itself), and didn’t like the rainbowy lollipop.
How would you like the legendary for elementalists to look like, if you were in charge of designing it? Comment about the appearance, and mainly the effects (body glow effects, and footsteps effects).I myself would like an staff specific for elementalists that would have a base default look, and would have swirling auras based on the element, upon switching attunements. The foosteps would follow that same element, that would be rather cool, the devs can do whatever mechanics they want to I see this as a possibility.
And you?
Love your idea. It would be nice to see some legendaries that responded different to each profession.
This is an amazing server. Even with Megaservers I still get prioritized where fellow SoR and SoR guilds are. The vast majority of people I encounter on these maps have been positive, helpful, and talkative. Honestly, it has made the world feel alive even when other servers were expressing a dip in the player base. SoR is a destination server with a thriving community. Tons of guilds, PUGs, zergs, and roamers.
Dwarves are dead (turned to stone – meaning no longer dwarves – see EotN in GW1) – only one left alive (Ogden Stonehammer). All the Stone Summit are deakitten
he only one that is amused when people make statements like this?
Its perfectly acceptable in a fantasy MMORPG for dwarves to be turned to stone but it is then impossible for that to change? Interesting.
EDIT: No matter how many times I edit it correctly, its not fixing the error.
IF you played EotN – from WIKI.
" With the Stone Summit’s defeat, the Dwarves unearthed the Tome of Rubicon and a prophecy foretelling their race’s doom was discovered. This prophecy saw itself fulfilled in 1078 AE when the Destroyers began to rise from the Depths of Tyria, led by the Great Dwarf’s ancient foe, the Great Destroyer.
In order to combat the threat, Jalis Ironhammer and several Dwarves moved to the Far Shiverpeaks and performed the Rite of the Great Dwarf. Through the rite, the Dwarves were transformed into stone and had their minds linked, becoming the Great Dwarf as a collective consciousness. The Dwarves fulfilled the prophecy of the Great Dwarf destroying his old nemesis when they had defeated the Destroyer threat after undergoing the rite.1
After the war against the Great Destroyer, Duncan the Black, the new leader of the Stone Summit, attempted to harness the power of the recently slain Great Destroyer’s soul, but was killed before his plan could succeed.
Eventually, all Dwarves undertook the Rite of the Great Dwarf.2"
So the Dwarfs are no longer Dwarfs but like the Skritt, a collective conscious. That is why they will not be playable.
Yes, I did play Guild Wars. Yes, I played EotN. Thank you for laying out the lore for dwarves in the GW universe.
However my point is that nothing is set in stone in fiction and fantasy.
Pun intended.Sure it is. That is the point. If A.Net brought back the Dwarves, it would be Lore breaking, plain and simple. That is the Stone the game is built on – Lore and the Lore in this game is quite extensive (even including 3 novels).
The Charr lost Ascalon. The Charr took it back in part. Humans ruled all of Tyria. Humans lost power and have been pushed back. The Sylvari didn’t exist. Now they do. The Elder Dragons were asleep. Now they are awake. The Jade Sea was solidified. Now it’s not. LA was part of Kryta. Now it’s an independent state. The dwarfs being turned to stone and then being able to come back to “life” (flesh) is a plot twist and absolutely an acceptable one.
Tyria is full of magic and technology. I’m sure the dwarfs being turned to stone can be overcome as far as lore goes.
1.) The dragons drain the magic from them forcing them back into flesh and blood.
2.) The asura build a device to reverse the effects of the Rite of the Great Dwarf.
3.) The Great Dwarf calls them back to Anvil Rock to be “reformed” into flesh.
4.) The Great Dwarf creates new dwarfs on Anvil Rock.
5.) The Durmand Priory find ancient artifacts that if combined have the ability the change them back.
6.) etc, etc, etc…
I’m sure ANet hasa pretty good staff on hand that could figure something even better out. As far a lore goes ANYTHING is possible. It doesn’t “break lore” or go against the universes rules. In Tyria things change all the time. Nothing is forever.
We know they are going to add the permanent content the only question we got is will it be high quality. And honestly Anet did seem to get a little better starting with the Tower of Nightmares update. So I got a little bit of hope for LSS2. I assume everyone still in game has some hope it’s going to be an improvement… or they are just waiting for a real expansion. idk. I’m still hopeful.
No Op…
No more Scarlet ever. Let’s just pretend she never existed. -_-
speed buff + mobility skills > mount
Speed Buffs + Mobility Skills = Mounts + Money for Anet + End Game Cosmetic Item
If implemented correctly they could be a nice addition to the game. I’m not sure on the time and resources required to make them though. If it’s too much I’ rather just see some more zones added and save the mounts for later down the road.

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Ideas-for-Guild-Halls-GvG-Housing/first#post4112019
Here’s an idea for Guild Halls / GvG / Housing that I’m not sure I’ve exactly seen before. Here comes a long post (usually the only kind I do).
Let’s have an island or some area that is basically a very large zone, like the size of a WvW map. A guild could own their own version of this zone and it has several designated locations where a “kingdom” could be built. The map would be divided up into several regions and your guild can build on the one they choose (on a side note, I think a guild-voting feature should be added).
Your guild settles into its preferred region and then has a huge variety of things they can do. Some limits of course to avoid abuse/exploits, but in general, the goal is to have a whole lot of freedom.
I’d like to see a whole new set of blueprints you can acquire for different buildings, or parts of buildings (maybe have a whole new “architect” crafting profession rather than just a vendor). Make it so you can place buildings, walls, etc wherever you want. You’d need to gather supply to build, same as WvW, and of course teamwork gets stuff done faster. There wouldn’t be just x-number of generic pre-made Halls to choose from like GW1, but instead every guild would have its own spin on it. Building it in the way they think would be coolest and most defensible.
Beyond that, within the kingdom, each member of the guild could have his/her own plot of land to build what they want. This can all be just a peaceful land if you wish, but your guild can also flag your kingdom for GvG where you can queue up various matches .. 5v5, 10v10, 20vs20, etc. So this isn’t just for big guilds. Various options, big and small. I imagine the smaller ones would be more popular as it would be easier to come up with the people.
But when the match starts, you are matched up against guilds that settled into one of the other regions in their version. So the general geography is consistent, but the enemies, their location and layout will change. To top it off, when the match starts, you don’t know which region the enemy lives in so you have to go find out where they are and what kind of setup they built. Maybe there could be matches vs multiple opponents, like a 5-guild FFA. Hey, why not? This would also be a great chance to bring back Guild Alliances. How about 2 guilds vs 2 guilds?
This could be so much more dynamic and varied than GvG in GW1, and on top of that, it would have a lot more personal investment because it’s something you designed and built yourselves, both as a guild, and individually. I was also thinking that any damage your buildings receive in the battle might be persistent and would have to be repaired during or after the fight. I’m not sure that would add much “fun” to it, but it could prompt design changes, like if the same spot keeps getting destroyed, maybe some tweaks could be in order as long as you’re rebuilding anyway.
Maybe some sort of Guild Airships (or naval ships) could also be added to the equation. Things you can pilot while others mount the guns. I’ve had the ships idea for a really long time but it’s been re-inspired after seeing a bunch of Archeage videos recently. The ships could be used as a possible way into the enemy kingdoms, bypassing the need for siege weapons. Though they’d be highly vulnerable to defensive weapons (tell me you wouldn’t like to drop an airship with a treb).
There should also be some sort of prestige for the guilds who most often win. And I’m not talking about some ranking on a website, but something very apparent for the world to see IN-GAME. Not just for #1 in a tournament, but maybe just in general, the more wins your guild earns, the more prestigious they are in the world. And not for a week or season, but permanent or at least long term (maybe reset once a year or every 6 months at least). I wouldn’t want to see anything directly game-affecting for the prestige, but maybe have a section in every major city where it prominently displays the 5-10 top-performing guilds (name, tag, and banner) with their current stats.
Many of us are always interested in more guild-oriented things to do, more reasons to even have a guild. This, I think, would be a HUGE one.
Arena Net listen up!
Please hire this person. Everything about your post is awesome.
Agree 100% This would be amazing.

Define easiest?
Because Tengu would require the same difficulties as the charr presented in the armor redesign. That would mean every single piece of armor (outside of cultural) would have to be redesigned to fit their unique body type (I still want them as playable though) Lore wise? Yes, they fit perfectly imo.
Largos would be pretty simple in terms of armor for reasons you stated.
Dwarfs are an easy armor redesign but would require some creative story telling to bring them back.
Kodan, Skritt, and Quaggan need more diversity in appearance and armor re designs to fit their unique body types. Skritt may be a bit easier than the others.
Centaurs would require fairly substantial armor re skinning and would need a lot of work to make their underwater combat look even reasonable.
You pretty much wrote what i would have written. But i still stay Tengu will be the first race added and then the Largos would come next.
Agreed with the Tengu being next.
Plus I really want to play as a Tengu so I’m good with this. I don’t really care much for the Largos. They are just so obscure and don’t really have a large presence in the game. Plus, I’m not a big fan of their dark elf meets giant butterfly look. So I may be a little bias.
(edited by Prophet.6257)
The Two races that would be the easiest for Anet to do, is Well Tengu and Largos, Why they already though about the Tengu but they ended getting cut and the Largos would be easy to do because they are pretty much like humans in body style so in theory it would take less time to do them. Also they have already pretty much setup both these races to be playable.

There are two major issues I see with adding in a new race.
- Customizable in almost every aspect (facial features, body shape, etc.) So right off the bat, that eliminates almost every race listed; Tengu, Hylek, Skritt, etc. If Anet didn’t spend time making each one of X race dramatically different from one another, it isn’t likely to become a playable race.
- Capital cities and surrounding areas. I understand that there is some room on the map for a race to establish it’s capital, but after all that plus lore and all the other good stuff, there probably won’t be enough room to establish 1-10 zones, 10-25 zones, and so on and so forth. Unless people are fine with only having 2-3 zones to level the new race, this is probably not going to stick.
http://wiki.guildwars.com/images/thumb/e/e6/Tengu_concept_art.jpg/800px-Tengu_concept_art.jpg You were saying about tengu?
fixed
And this would be so awesome.
The other thing about dwarves is anet outright said, they don’t want dwarves to be to prominent, as dwarves and elves are already pretty much staples of other fantasy games, and they’re trying to be different.
This is true and it’s a shame if them not adding dwarfs is just because they want to be different. I do think the demand for new races will eventually set in for ANet and they will cash in. However, what races those may consist of is really anyones guess.
How about new Hard Mode zones? They wouldn’t even necessarily have to be level 80+ zones (well maybe they should be idk). As ANet adds zones some of them could be HM instead of just HM versions of the current zones.
They could test out the new AI and implement it a little at a time by only having to focus on a single zone.
1.) Hylek
2.) Tengu
3.) Kodan
4.) Skritt
5.) DwarvesI don’t care if they sell them as unlockable on the Gem Store, Living Story, or in an Expansion. I would just love to have access to them.
A.Net already said – Hylek and Skritt would not be playable.
Dwarves are dead (turned to stone – meaning no longer dwarves – see EotN in GW1) – only one left alive (Ogden Stonehammer). All the Stone Summit are dead.
Maybe Kodan or Tengu but since we are going to Maguuma Jungle in LS2, I put my money on Tengu (since they already have a presence in LA and in Caledon Forest).
Kodan would be more towards going North in the Shiverpeaks, which we may eventually do. The only problem with Kodan is they all look the same to me (what a racist thing to say :-) ).
I do not want them to be unlockable in the Gem Store as they would be the same as ESO with the Imperial Race and that would be unseemly.
I’m sure in a world full of magic ANet could find a way around the dwarfs being turned to stone especially considering we have the Asura. Turning to “stone form” would make a great elite ability too. The entire story surrounding “saving the dwarfs” could be awesome. They do have the knowledge and experience fighting Primordus after all. However, I suspect if we go that route it could be sometime before we actually get them in game.
Now that I think about it releasing a new playable race or two with each dragon would be pretty cool.
Tengu with Mordremoth
Dwarfs with Primordus
Kodan with Jormag
Largos with Bubbles
??? with Kralkatorrik
I think it’s important to remember ANet is pretty imaginative and if they want something to happen they will find a way to make it work. They do control the entire GW2 universe after all. I’m not saying just because they can that they will. I’m just saying ANYTHING is possible in an imaginary world. Personally, I feel like every serious suggestion on this thread actually could have a chance of getting into the game at some point. Now obviously ones that require less time, energy, and money to produce (see armor redesigns, personal story, and capital cities) are the most likely.
Essentially making the world stronger and making your character weaker is the same thing. (and I know that kind of stinks) But what if “hard made” was just a debuff for your character that gave like an extra 100% Magic find? Or whatever reward HM would offer. That way no one in the word is separated but you still get the challenge and higher rewards?
People would simply abuse that for Ktrains and such. Plus, the idea is to have a greater challenge. Changing the AI is the biggest challenge increase, not the reduction of stats.
Good point.

GW2 isn’t for everyone but don’t let dodging be what keep you out. I just think about it like an extra skill. Playing as an Elementalist was what taught me to do it. Lots of power but pretty much requires you to doge to do really well in combat. Plus several of the skills have a dodge built into them.
It should be fine as long as your ok with exotics (orange) gear and to be completely honest that will do just fine in 90% of the games content.
Make sure when you sell stuff to use the Black Lion and sell to lowest seller NOT highest buyer. However, if you do ever decide to do dungeons you can make a lot of coin. Also world boss runs are pretty profitable. They will give you a chance to practice your dodging ability too.
It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.
