It will most likely get more expensive after the story is over. And the resource node in your home instance is a complete joke. Assuming you get 5 quartz/day, you would need 5 days to make 1 charged crystal. 5 of those are needed to make 1 part of armor.

So after all it takes 5*5*6 = 150 days or about 5 full months(!) to make yourself 1 set of celestial armor.

I don’t agree with Daecello most of the time but this is just stupid.

Don’t know the rate, but apparently you can get charged quartz as a rare mining from the personal node.

I purchased two identical Ascended Rings using Laurels. No where was I informed that I would be unable to equip two similar items until I searched the internet. It’s a very poor system, or downright unfair, to waste something that takes literally a month’s investment when there is nothing stating I couldn’t equip both rings.

I understand if you cannot fix this for me retroactively, but I’m posting in hopes you take notice so no other player is faced with such discouragement as throwing that much investment into a reward of nothing.

And no, I can’t use it on another character because trying to equip it simply unequipped the other one, making it Soulbound to this character.

If you infuse it via the Mystic forge (check the wiki page for ascended items) the ring will no longer be considered the same – so you can wear 2, one will have the inherent agony resistance infusion brings.

You can only open up each one on the map once a day (so once you know you’ve gotten every single one on the map, switch to a different zone).

Note the opening is account wide (if you open a basket too soon, the bags spawn and deflate). At the same time, the achievement counts the bags you pick up, not the actual opening of the basket – so you only need to hit 30 baskets.

Adul is frustrating, I’ve seen his HP go up two rounds in a row, and his health doesn’t react anything like any of other NPCs. After bluffing twice, a blech or two, and healing up… I still had twice the dent in my health as he did.

Just to warn you – you probably won’t get moved. They might, but not sure how much they can do.

What I’d recommend is starting a character or two in the meantime to get backinto the game – don’t go too far so you can delete them but it will also let you join in what’s going on now. And the bank is an account feature, so anything you want to keep that isn’t soulbound can go in there (like the new quartz).

Also, the forums are only for assisting in tickets taking an unusual amount of time – 3 days or more since the last exchange between you and support – and in the thread sticked above. If the ticket is that old, post in there with your ticket number (12 digit number).

Also, if you know when it was taken, tell them the date the account was hacked. To help them get as close as possible on the rollback.

I’m not sure which N word penguin is talking about – I think it’s the translation from Spanish for black, not the word commonly confused with a synonym for miserly – but as far as you pulling up the Nipper example :

It’s very close to a racial slur. And was viewed by others as a reference to body parts. That person lucked out in the end getting to keep it I think. As far as what meaning to go by, it’s a judgement call, and they do tend to err on the side of caution.

On a related note, I’m all for the creation of a new language. We’re running out of words in English that don’t have offensive slang meanings!

Do to how much weight they give it, Anet will not resend serial codes.

The majority of the zone seems accessible without jumping – some of the achievements are not, but the zone itself seems to mostly just used the dash and the pull.

I recommend that your friend continue to discuss this matter with the agent who is handling his ticket. Perhaps he can include some of the communications he has had with the credit card company, to establish that this was a case of identity theft. The fact is, in most cases of identity theft, the credit card company will work with the customer to verify each and every charge: “Is this legitimate? Should we process it?” So it’s not common for a charge-back to take place without the customer actively approving it.

Try deleting some in-game mails. Usually this is a result of you being over the non-heart email limit (even if the counter doens’t show you as at it).

It’s still a tech support issue.

Regardless, having filed a support ticket you’ve done what you are supposed to. Your issue indicates data corruption of some kind on that character, and there’s nothing anyone can do from the forums for that.

You get ONE ticket as reward for the meta-achievement. You can use that ticket on any ONE of your characters, and that character can mine their home instance once per day.

Now it’s clear. The way everyone was going on it sounded like you had to do the event over and over on each character for each of them to get the node.

Basically, unlocks in each character’s Home on an account basis, and the node itself is account bound like the Blossoming Passiflora is. So you can log into any character once it’s unlocked, and go to their home, then mine it – but only once per day per account.

And there is no promise that who reported your name(s) was one of the ones you were PvPing against.

As for the suspension – they are nice enough to modify their normal policy of “your warning is the TOS” with names that are not particularly vile and let you back in after flagging the name the first time. Normal minimum suspension is 72 hours, so a for a second name that sounds right.

Support accounts are not game accounts. Also, you can submit a ticket without a support account (you should be able to create one though) and then keep up with it via email.

Second – I can’t recall any actual hack of Arena Net – so far all the mas compromises were due to 3rd party sites. So Anet wouldn’t of sent out an email.
