Hi there, I am a “casual” player that mostly does PvE in all games, but I realy, realy, realy want to get into sPvP (and WvW once I upgreade my computer). I’ve played some games as ranger and recently I am trying realy hard with elementalist.
Dont play elementalist until it gets buffed.
Dont feed rallys to the enemy team and best dont die at all without being useless uber bunker spamming autoattack from max range.
Dont play at absurd times when no one else on your MMR plays (like 9 o clock am)
There you go now youre ready for soloq.
The quality of players is better overall, but at rank 10 you will probably lose a few matches just by being outplayed. Doesnt matter though at least youll start getting a feel for correct movement and positioning on the map (hopefully)

Reduce Healing Signet base heal by about 25% (from 390 to 300 hps, in line with 3 bar Healing Surge), while at the same time increase the healing power scaling so that @1000 healing power it’ll do equivalent to what it does today at 1000 healing power. This change will reduce the inherent healing of non-healing power builds, while not effecting bunkers who choose to take Clerics amulet.
Numbers need adjusting but this pretty much. Healing signet still needs to be addressed for serker builds.

good changes to ele with the attunement i really felt i needed those 30 points! just make sure they wont get too much survivability combined with arcane burst + fresh air

srsly though the changes to incendiairy powder will probably break heavy offensive grenade builds as you will no longer be able to get both cooldowns and incendiairy powder

3v3 to 8v8 Capture the flag (depending on map size). Flag could be an orb with a throw mechanic. Or maybe use a different mechanic for the orb carrier altogether like in keg brawl.
the ball throw idea sounds nice (if itd be kinda like the throw cannonball in Capricorn)
the spirit watch orb is kinda meh as it is now and the map would be ideal for positional play

You all know it. Below is what a warrior can do – legit edition.
400 passive healing signet only + 100 more via trait PER SECOND thats 5K! Healing per 10 seconds without wasteing time healing / without being able to interrupt and without being able to counter with poison (unless you somehow perma apply it which is just completely unreasonable – this way of healing is BETTER vs poison than the normal ones)
best stuns in the game (either AoE or extremely long) on a VERY LOW CD
best condi remove in the game with the same trait that also gets another 100hp/sec healing – TRIPLE condi cleanse every 9 seconds TIMES TWO (two weapon sets)
very good damage output especially with a 10 point trait that gives 50%???!!!! crit chance when target is stunned
best base stats of all classes large vitality and toughness by default
one of the best (duration+cd) and most reliable stability utilities in the game (balanced stance)
reliable ON COOLDOWN!!!!! aoe might stacking with longbow hammer (2 explo finishers and a fire field every 9 seconds lead to reliable 12 STACKS AOE MIGHT ON ITS OWN!)
and also Berserker stance is one of the best – trololol they have 3 condi classes lets hard counter their setup – utility choices you can pick right before match

against minion master all you need to do is perma snare the minions and stay out of their range – gg – minions are dumb ez matchup
also in general vs nec as condi eng if you dont dodge putrid mark youre probably kittened really hard
you shouldnt solo push a capped and defended node as thief (depends on defender but i just assume its not an instant kill) – how about improving on that part!

This si the issue nothing else.. cant fix that with gamechanges. If you make it scramble teams, players will qq on the forums cuz teammates are craaaaaaap as hell and winning becomes more rng.
Either way the game needs more players.
Also i met a guy the other day who said he doesnt play tourneys cuz he doesnt like all the waiting. Which i can totally understand tbh.

Its not about bunker at all on the contrary – healing doesnt even benefit it thaaaat much but just HAVING 400 heal (without adding heal gear or anything) is strong in any build

i have about 60-75 soloq games played and i think i only had an afker once or twice on my team.
People tend to ragequit when its not looking that rosy i guess?! Even then i had some nice comebacks – no idea why anyone would ragequit in ranked play.

so i just have everyone disconnect until its a 1v1 between 2 classes where my team counters the opponents – or just have someone with very high mobility go for caps and kills all the time or…

I dont want to wait forever to start the game – at least if theres a timer on it people wont go buy their groceries while waiting for q pop.

nope everyone gets the same chances and can make every class at every point in time!

1. Stacked team. For what ever reason matchmaking frequently puts all the currently qued high ranked players on one team and then match them against a team of players a fair bit below them. Often at nights this is top 150 against 200-600 range. Cant you mix the roster up?
2. High ranked players mixed with players that are unranked or off the leaderboards (ie. cant find them on gwshack). I rather not have a que pop then rage at my team because they are playing like a hotjoin. Im sure its not fun for them to be matched up against people that 1v2 them.
Most legit complaints about tourneys ques so far.
The issue is playerbase though – if you only allow for smaller matchmakking pools games wont pop.
Also it would be very good if there were enough ppl playing so the difference in skill between someone in the top 100 and the top 500-1000 isnt as big as it is now. Then it wouldnt matter if rank 200 and 600s are matched together.
But yea id also rather not have q pop at all instead of winning against a team that gains me 1 Ladderspot when i win. Makes no sense.
By speccing into Alchemy (+30% boon duration), and getting 2x Rune of Hoelbrak (20% might duration), 2x Rune of Strength (20% might duration), and 2x Rune of Fire (20% might duration)
^This! Also aoe might explo finishers are at a whopping 36 second duration if you do that so might wanna throw in some of those

This still sums up my feelings about FT.
Direct damage from FT is abyssmal no matter what you do (i,e. even withz 25 stacks of might and serker gear) – Anet should bring back the double explosion on max range for the FT (2) skill. That was a nice skill shot – easy to see /avoid but rewarding when it hit.

and as support its just a huge fail on its own
+ using the auto means kitten yourself with 1.5K retaliation on every shot gg…
all FT traits become trash just like that as well when the kit is uber crap to begin with

- Marks: they are too easy to land and really hard to read. I think they need a better visual clue, something like Doom.
I think you can now see both the fear mark and the other mark motion reasonably well – I would love to see different animations for each mark though so you can tell which one is being used

4) no – even with 25 stacks of might – damage and survivability on power engi is horrendous – of course its somewhat better in very short encounters but still..

2) you want 40% bleed duration and 50% burn duration max for any PvP condition engineer build imo – everything beyond that is expensive gear/traitwise and makes no sense because people cleanse anyway – in PvE you might want to try going for 80% bleed duration (or just max bleed duration as hard as you can without losing too much anyway..)
1)every nade engineer i have seen playing (with 1 exception) chooses rabid over carrion

Harpoongun is horrendous – one of the reasons i never play any underwater content.
the system should also notice the paly mmr, when i paly in the morning i only face noobs and play vs noobs, so if I lose, i go down like 50 ranks, which takes like 10 wins vs decent teams to get back to top 100. Means the system should not punish me for bad mates
Dont play early in the morning. Everything other than prime time makes no sense once you hit top 100.
