If you go to the bank you can check all 3 armor weights on 1 character.
Just select the wardrobe tab (3rd one down) and search for the names.
This.
Well, those aren’t skins you’d get from a drop, so it’s unlikely you have them already without realizing it. But you can look at your wardrobe (go to any bank or crafting station and select Wardrobe) and search for those names (primeval, krytan, and profane). You could also just look at your Hero panel wardrobe, as well.

Yes, give or take. That site shows a full list of the items you’ll need to craft from 1-400, as well as the list of items you’ll make.

No class can fly. There are a few weapon and utility skills that will give you extra movement speed, leaps, teleports, and shadowsteps. No race will run faster/be better at something than another race. And crafting won’t really help you as far as gameplay, unless you want to use it to quickly get a few levels.
I think a warrior would probably be your best bet for a mobile class that is almost face-rolling easy to use while leveling. You’ll have early access to warhorn, which has a skill that gives you swiftness. You’ll also have utility slots that give you swiftness (Balanced Stance and Signet of Rage). Greatsword 5 gives you a nice movement skill, too. And there is also a trait you can unlock and use that will give you +25% movement speed while holding melee weapons. Warriors are also well-liked in dungeons and group content.
They have said they’ll keep it running on auto-support until people stop playing, at which point the TLC it gets will be to shut down the servers.
All the suggestions listed in that thread would cost ANet time or money (ranging from a little to a ton), so unless you can think of a way to generate enough revenue to take resources away from GW2 and apply them to GW1, I can’t imagine that ANet is going to do anything.
Yup, that.

Yeah, I also wasn’t getting credit for the crystals.
Might want to edit your title, since you’re just talking about race change. And yeah, as was already said, race change isn’t likely to ever happen.
I put sex in there to make it more accurate
And how does that make it more accurate?
So people know what I’m talking about.
You’re talking about a race change. Nowhere in your post did you mention a sex or gender change.

As far as I know, the only “upgrade” with Viper stats is a black diamond. I don’t know of any upgrade with Sinister stats. However, I wouldn’t use those as an upgrade for viper or sinister armor or weapons; I’d get runes and sigils that go with my build. But if you for some reason had a surplus of black diamonds, that could work ok, I suppose.
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I understand about Runes and Sigils and have a full set of Berserker runes for this character. I forgot the black diamond was the item for Viper, as I started to ask about sinister and added viper as a quick afterthought. The character in question has Ascended Rampager jewelry, from the days of only the basic stat groups, and I thought to switch the upgrade to sinister rather than get a whole set of ascended jewelry and I’d likely use sinister for that, as condition duration is capped.
Ah, I see. Well, you can’t put a normal upgrade in Ascended trinkets anyway; the stats basically have upgrade stats added to it automatically. The only upgrade you can apply are agony infusions or utility infusions. So, if you wanted anything with sinister stats for your trinkets, you’ll have to either get new ascended trinkets or craft some exotic sinister trinkets.
Did you know that Wyvern is also correctly spelled as Wivern? On the topic of golems and gollums though, I can’t say which is truly correct. Maybe ask Tolkien?
Golems originate in Jewish folklore, not Tolkien. :p

You have to play through the story section on a character to be able to do the achievements for that particular story section. There are a few achievements that will let you bypass this, but the vast majority require an initial play-through of the story.
I have zero concern about this. In fact, I think they made the right call having it “Staffs”. What irritates the bleep out of me is the pronunciation of Wyvern. Who the bleep screwed that up??
I never listened to the npcs in-game saying it. How do they pronounce it?
I haven’t seen them while running around yet, but I love the detail put into it. They look so much better than the white or black ones. I say great job on these.
@RoseofGilead the idea that you can spend 10 dollars to add an extra crafting slot is not a point in Anets favor
I don’t see it as a point for or against Anet. Since the game encourages playing alts and has a shared bank and material storage, you basically have multiple character slots to do all of the crafting disciplines without buying a single thing from the gem store.
There are 6 dragons. Lion’s Arch isn’t technically a racial city. Each character can have more than 2 crafting professions by use of a gem store item. There are more than 3 elite skills per class, including racial skills.
However, why is having an equal/close to equal number of skills/maps/other things bad?
Yeah, I’m going to post and buy items for whatever price I choose, just like everyone else should.
All servers/worlds use UTC time as server time. If you play during typical US hours, then just join any NA server that you like.
The only thing I had to do for that was jump off the diving board. Like, I didn’t have to steer at all after the initial jump. I just jumped off and away from the board.
What Kree said. They don’t delete accounts. If you want the points and skins, you’ll need to actually try to log in and/or contact support. :p
You people are bothered by such petty things.
What do you mean “you people”?
What Andraus said. If they’ve already targeted you before you go into stealth, then you’re going to get hit (unless you get out of range before the attack fully channels). That’s just how it works; if a channeled skill is started before the target stealths, the attack will hit.
A couple of nights ago I stepped away from from my keyboard and got busy and sort of forgot I was logged in. My 4 year old (turned 4 years old last week) got on my char. He likes pressing the buttons and clicking on stuff, which has caused me no small amount of trouble. He knows he can press arrow keys to move and that number 1 make fire.
He got into an unranked pvp match somehow. He will click on anythign that pops up. So I realize after a while that he managed to get in PvP, so I go over there to check it out. His team was within 10 points of winning so I let him stay on, and they won.
I said all of that to say this. He did better than 3 other people on his team, and I know one of them was actively trying.
He literally ran around and pressed 1 over and over on my glass cannon staff ele and didn’t come in last place.
I never play pvp, but I am thinking I should start…
I kid you not this happened.
4 year-olds OP. Plz nerf.
You’re definitely not alone. It bugs me, too. :p
I don’t really understand how that works…I played GW 1 for years, owned all expansions, and probably played through about 90% of the game on multiple classes, including Paragon and Dervish, but the only thing I have in GW 2 at the Hall of Monuments vendor is Heritage Armor.
You have to earn certain titles/do certain things to get points. You also have to own Eye of the North and have at least one tapestry up in your GW1 Hall of Monuments to turn in items to get points.
What Ayrilana said is true. Getting 10 points is really easy, even if you had to start from scratch. Have you tried contacting support here about resetting your password?
Nope. Those should remain a GW1 heritage reward permanently, in my opinion.
1. Now, nothing. For the first year or so of the game, it was a pain having a cross-server guild because you’d have to basically create chapters of the same guild, and it was kind of a mess. Now, though, it doesn’t matter what server you’re on; every member will have the same access to the guild and all of the things that come with it. The only thing that will be affected by being on different servers is wvw. So, if you want to join a wvw guild, then you’d be better off picking a guild that’s on your server. Otherwise, any server’s guild will suit your needs.
2. No, you’ve never needed influence to use/see guild chat.
3. Yes, influence is basically gone. Now, you earn Favor instead of Influence. Any old influence for old guilds is useless, except for converting it to Favor.
A Squid-Thing Called Wanda
I stand corrected. Definitely check the dulfy links; she ALWAYS has the updates shown on her page, including any new hairstyles, faces, and other things.
No, that wiki page isn’t outdated at all. It just doesn’t show all of the possible hairstyles. The wiki link Belzebu posted above shows the EXCLUSIVE hairstyles and faces available in the makeover kits. If you want to see the normal ones (ie. the ones that you see when you create a character), you can go here. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Physical_appearance/Sylvari

yea but aint those materials bettwen 40-60 more expensive then the 61-80 ones?
They are, especially linen and that level wood. But I just hate leveling in those ranges. :p
Steve.
My first guess was wrong. It’s Lion’s Arch Reborn. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o51IHkenPPg
(edited by RoseofGilead.8907)
Honestly, I’d use them in either the 40-60 or 50-70 levels. Those are always the worst for me, as far as leveling goes. 1-20 goes really, really quickly. 20-40 usually goes fairly quickly, too. But once you get to around level 40, things start to feel like they drag. Once you’re to 70, it picks up again (especially if you’re combining your personal story with map completion in Orr as you go).
Outfits are usable by all classes. Armor skin sets are not, and they’re clearly labeled as either heavy, medium, or light. You don’t have to “pay” to reapply the skins, though. You can get 6 transmutation charges very quickly simply by exploring the six city maps (Divinity’s Reach, Black Citadel, The Grove, Hoelbrak, Rata Sum, and Lion’s Arch). You also have a chance of getting them for completing any other map. They’re also a pvp reward, a daily log-in reward for specific days, and are in some AP reward chests (among other things).
It happened ONCE that we know of and after support looked into it the items were given back (and the player is now up 166 gold).
Not sure what all the fuss is about??
The player didn’t get the items back. And yeah, they let him keep 166g out of the 400ish gold he had from his items selling. So, he’s out the 300g they took away, plus the listing fee he paid when he listed the items some months back. That’s kind of a crappy deal.
Yes he did get the items back. It says so on the reddit thread. There is no problem here.
Ah, the last time I’d looked at the thread, he hadn’t gotten any of the slivers back; I just saw Colin say “Oh, we let you keep the 166g”. I now see the most recent edit to that reddit post, though.
Keep in mind that this thread was posted before support finally agreed to give him his items back. So, the first half of the thread is responding to the issue as it was before the final edit to the post where the player got their stuff back.

If that’s actually how it went down, then yeah. That’s pretty messed up. We can’t control who buys our goods on the TP, and we shouldn’t be punished for it.
What OneYenShort said. The Hint text tells you it’s in the Urban Battleground Fractal.
Transmuting an item shouldn’t affect the runes at all. Keep in mind that the swiftness duration buff won’t be seen unless you actually have applied swiftness to yourself. Also keep in mind that the stat bonus won’t show up if you’re underwater (unless you have a Pack rune in your breather, as well). Also note that being in zones where you’re downleveled will affect how your stats look, due to them being scaled down in those areas. Lastly, double check that you actually do have all 6 Pack runes equipped in your gear.
So, I would contact them through here? In game, I can only seem to find the bug report contact.
Yes, you contact support through here (the website). https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new
The only thing you can do is contact support to see if they can send you a new one (and make sure you only select stats for it on your Revenant).
Two classes can use both a GS and a longbow: Ranger and Warrior.
Both have their benefits, but I think a warrior is more accepted and liked (in all game modes).
Edit: Actually, I forgot that Guardian now can use a longbow with the Dragonhunter elite Spec, but you won’t have access to that until you’ve fully leveled a “normal” Guardian. Guards also use greatsword, too.
