When Inculpatus said, “And, the Devs have posted why it’s technically not possible to mix/match armor weights.”
The above quoted suggests he is talking about the stats/weights associated with Heavy, Medium and Light Armors, to which he missed the entire point of my OP, and so did you, apparently.
No. Incapultus was talking about the three distinct armor TYPES, which are designated by their “weight” (heavy, medium, light). Stats are not being discussed when someone is talking about the armor types, at least when they’re being discussed in terms of fashion.

No they don’t, you can go to LA and enter the portal at level 2.
If it’s a F2P account they can’t enter LA until level 35.
OP: As far as I know, all you have to do to get into pvp is do that first introduction mission. So, I’m not sure why your friend can’t use the pvp button. :\ Maybe make sure your friend isn’t in an instance and also try logging out/back in.

The bug is that when you equip them they become account bound (different item code), which the treasury doesn’t (but should!) recognise.
Unless I’m very mistaken, boxes/bags that are crafted like that don’t bind to your character or your account. The only ones that are bound are achievement/story reward, gem store package, or ones like the Halloween pail; and those are account bound on acquire.

The orange reward box is once per day per account. So, if you already did Teq since the most recent reset, that’s why you didn’t get an orange reward box.
What notts said. There is now a minimum sell amount (a certain percentage above the vendor cost to sell). You won’t be able to put in a lower amount. And yes, the listing fee is taken out always.
You can’t put anything that is account or soulbound into the guild treasury. It has to be something that is also able to be sold on the TP
No, some accound bound stuff can be put in guild treasure.
Seems that the accound bound box was just forgotten…
Aren’t the account bound ones the ones that came with the heroic or digital deluxe upgrades? That’s probably part of why they’re not accepted (they were part of a gem store/external purchase).
It probably requires non-bound ones.
Hah, I see now. That does make the last few posts above mine earlier make more sense.
I reported this thread.
Why? The OP hasn’t even made a second post in this thread.
“I have everything from home instance upgrades to memorabilia from the war with Scarlet—even a few things I’d thought we’d lost forever!”
I wonder is that also means we will get some items that were not originally meant for gemstore (talking about YOU molten jetpack
)
I wouldn’t bet on it; jetpack will probably remain as it is (in-game reward from the past).
Its been 3 days and My friend cant log in
in Account & Technical Support

What Andraus said. If your friend has already put in a support ticket (only one), then they should wait the full 72 hours (which is the usual maximum amount of time needed for support to get back to you). If it’s been 72 hours with no response, then post the ticket number to the following thread.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/GW2-Tickets-for-Review-3-days-older-2/page/14
Aw, that’s a sweet story, Andulias.
I remember some random person in DR sent me a small collection of sweets, alcohol, and other wintersday items with a note saying it was from the “Wintersday Elf”. It made me smile.
Yeah, it looks like the thread was deleted for some reason. That’s odd. I wonder why it was removed.
Your city/county/state decided to change its tax laws, and those changes usually go into effect during the first month of the year.
As Foxx said, the downed person doesn’t have to be the one to kill the mob; as long as they’ve “tagged” it, they’ll be revived as soon as the mob dies (in most situations). So, if you can quickly kill the mob they’re fighting, just kill it. If not, try your best to revive them (go to their body and press F).
Guyss, guyss! You have got to come ssee thiss wall!
Besst wall, 10/10, would sstare for hourss~
This post makes me miss that thread where someone went on a tour of GW2 while in toxic krait form, making posts in character about what he saw on his travels.
RNG is RNG, I’m afraid. I’m having crap luck getting the machined greatsword hilt.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unblockable
“Unblockable is a property of attack skills which prevents the attack from being blocked, and in case of ranged attacks, reflected or otherwise destroyed by effects of skills.”
I’m pretty sure that’s just working as intended.
I concur with CETheLucid: do a Scrooge McDuck.
You’re welcome.
Has she opened the reward chests given for getting Silver? I believe you have to actually open the chests to have them count.
Yup, gotta go buy the recipe.
Hey, quaggans have to eat, right? I figure there’s a high cost for serving them up their tasty morsels.
Lol I totally read this wrong the first time through. The “up” in there threw me off. Who knew quaggan was so expensive to prepare? ^.^
Hah, I read it that way, too, at first.
Makes you wonder why there isn’t a rival company in the game setting up to compete with Black Lion.
There is/was: The Consortium.
I have a feeling its all the gems I got via cards for xmas and the fact one of my guild mates gave me100 G (legitimately of course) to use on upgrades that they started targeting me again. Or it could be my name (and character name) as well. Is it such a stretch that they are getting that info on us even if we are secure?
That’s a huge stretch. They have no access to your account, so they don’t know how much you’ve ever spent on gems.
As was already said, it’s the fault of your city/county/state.
Nah, they’re not in your hall. They most likely saw/see you in cities or low level zones, save your name, and then whisper you that way. I can’t say I’ve had any such whispers in several months, luckily. But when they do pop up, just report them and block.
I just hope that whatever they do, people don’t overreact like last year.
Part of the fun of April Fool’s Day for me (now) is seeing just how bent out of shape some people get about the pranks. “I’m boycotting Anet until my head isn’t giant anymore!” “Omg anet, you made my screen go sepia tone and made my charcter make airplane noises! I’m serious disappointed in youuuu!”
Yeah, normally first offenses just get a warning. However, your chosen name is in the realm of “extremely offensive”, and that, coupled with the fact that your account name is the same, may be why it was an automatic ban. I’d suggest doing as Illconceived said (update your ticket to ask to change the *display name, character name, and give an alternative name).

You only get the story rewards once per character. You’d have to run it on a different character to get rewards again. You can run a story chapter as many times as you like on any character, but, as I said, you only get rewards once.
As for your other questions, I believe the “5/6” is how many you’ve already earned from that chapter of the HoT personal story and its achievements. You can only get Personal Story Mastery points once. So, once you complete a story arc that rewards a Mastery point (or more than one), you won’t get any other Mastery points from it (even if you do it on multiple characters). You can do the achievements for each chapter to get the points tied to those, but, again, those points are only gained once. You could use a different character to get that final Mastery point, once they’ve done the story and are able to do the achievements. But it’ll still just be an account wide Mastery point.

There’s a list of all the Mastery points you can get, including the ones you get from the story and story achievements.
Achievement eligibility in HoT stories are account bound. Once you have done any of the steps on any character you can use any other character to do the achievements.
Good to know. I wasn’t completely sure about that since LS2 was kind of finicky about it.
The whole game, with the exception of the Heart of Thorns zones and pvp/wvw/fractals, is in Tyria.
HoT is in Tyria a well. Tyria is both the name of the continent as well as the name of the planet, both of which apply to HoT.
True. I forgot that the planet is Tyria, as well.

The whole game, with the exception of the Heart of Thorns zones and pvp/wvw/fractals, is in Tyria. Where exactly are you trying to go?
Not a bad quiz, but it needs some proof reading and editing.
PvP brings that out in people for some reason. GW2 isn’t alone in that aspect, either. Look at pretty much any game with a PvP mode, and you’ll find very similar attitudes from a chunk of the player population. And yes, there are definitely some players out there who are normal, level-headed non-trolls. But you’re going to have to take the good with the bad. Just continue using the Block feature when necessary, and enjoy the game.
Did you submit a support ticket (not an in-game bug report)? You won’t get a response to bug reports.
..seven gods..?! I thought there were six?
Yup. Five if you don’t count Kormir (and, really, no one should count her . . . ever).
I bought gems last week-no tax. This week I bought another $20-$1.25 in tax. I should thank them-gonna save me a ton of money because I’m not buying gems anymore. I refuse to pay sales tax on a non tangible item that didn’t have to be shipped anywhere, that’s just bs. I guess I better make my 3k gems last but at least that stops my ridiculous key addiction. I’m on the East Coast of USA by the way. I must have spent over $500 in the gem store minimum. Thanks for the tax update Anet-you just lost a good gem store customer.
Anet doesn’t control your local tax laws; blame your city and/or state for deciding to change.
No, it usually updates as soon as you close the GW1 client. What items have you put in your GW1 HOM so far?
When I’ve made clovers, I did the 10 recipe until I got to 60 or 70. Then I switch to the 1 recipe. There’s no reason why I do it that way, though. It just works for me.
The Devastation part is only the prerequisite to start the collection for the Mistward Warfists (from the page you linked: “Prerequisite: Completion of the Devastation revenant specialization”). The Shatterer, and all the other events/activities, are required to complete the collection. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mistward_Warfists_%28achievement%29
I don’t think your opponent has anything to do with that combo. It relies on you having a condition on you and having the combo field and finisher (both done by either you or allies) performed close enough to you.
I’d vote for Zhaitan. You need a group and I bet it’s hard to get a group nowadays. The whole instance takes a long time. The mini bosses are ok, but the final boss fight is like sitting on a turret and watch a movie. I guess the fact it’s a group fight as a story boss is just not good. I can’t do it with all my chars.
It’s soloable now. You can go alone or with up to four other people. It’s still long and a bit unsatisfying, though. :\
Not bad.
I made a lady Deadpool on my human female thief a while back. I’ll have to dig up screenshots sometime.
Axemaster, that kitten is immediate, no dodge, just dead. …Who thought that was a good idea?
I especially hate how you can’t even fly within a reasonable distance of his island without getting that debuff on you.
I know its an opinion, but I’m curious why exactly you think lupi is the worst fight?
It has pretty much everything that makes a boss fun and challenging imo, only downside to it is the high amount of bugs.
I agree. If only we could have followed Zhaitan down to the ground to fight him, finding he had some of the same mechanics as Lupi. That’d be more fun than pew pewing on the cannons.
You have to buy character slots on the gem store if you want to have more than five characters.
The fight with Zhaitan. It’s just the worst.
Short version: It’s just broken. You’re better off searching google for the topic you’re looking for, combined with the word forum.
