It greatly depends on how the game is presented, communication from Anet, and how the content for the current expansion goes over the next year or two.
As long as that other person doesn’t leave the guild, it’ll still be there. I’d send that person an in-game mail asking to be reinvited, just in case they show up.
Bit of a long shot, but have you tried getting a consumable item for the skin (use the ‘Withdraw’ button at the bottom of the achievements panel)? If you can get a consumable for the vambraces from there, it might trigger the skin unlocking in the wardrobe, or at least give you a way of using skin until your wardrobe gets fixed.
Ahh, good idea. I forgot that those skins are always there for the taking.
You need to contact support directly. http://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new
I’m not exactly sure what you mean here. Could you post a screenshot of your Hero panel?
For the millionth time: there are no culinary applications for bloodstone dust. None!
From the wiki: “A sigil affects all skills while the weapon set with the sigil is active. For example, with an off-hand sigil of force, damage is increased for main-hand, utility, and bundle skills. The effects continue during most transformations.” So, yes, all of your skills will be boosted by both sigils.
The 1 skill is a jump (“Dragon’s Wing”). https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dragon's_Wing
As Illconceived said, there is a bug that appeared with Tuesday’s patch that removed the 1 skill from many in-game stories/activities/adventures. I wouldn’t try doing this until the bug is fixed.
Everything you make for a legendary or for a precursor is going to be either unbound or account bound on acquire; you can pass all the components to any character. So, just buy the chest and learn the recipes on the correct character.
Awesome, thanks so much for clarifying
btw, all that stuff I got with the collection from tier one, can I sell those? They’re crowding my bank quite a lot :c (so far the only usable item I’ve found was the Mini and the lamp thingy for later crafting)
All the trophies? Yeah. As long as you’ve completed Tier 1, all of that can just be sold to a vendor or destroyed.
Intentional. All Chak weapons (including the ones you have to get from the Nuhoch vendors and from Chak Gerent) are Rare.
I, for one, appreciate the spoiler because I likely won’t ever get around to doing the raid. But I won’t pass full judgement on the ending until I see/read the full story (including the final wing’s story). For now, though, I will say that I am a little sad that this reveal was part of the raid story instead of the main story.

i think your thread asking for younger human female faces was more subtle and better executed. i only rate this thread B-
I would be reluctant to give it a B-. Closer to a C, I feel.
I am crafting Astralaria and had the same problem: my toon consumed the recipe but doesn’t have weaponsmith on 500. Can I buy the Chest of End and get another toon to craft the precursor and give it back to the toon that’s actually going to use the legendary?

You can buy the box with the recipes from the legendary NPC standing next to the weaponsmith/armorsmith stations in LA. Costs around 10k karma. But yeah, in the future, make sure you learn the recipes on the character that has the appropriate crafting leveled up (artificer in this case).
The only way you can get it is if you have a time machine. For now, anyway.
We have a lot of cat/kitten ones already, but I can only think of two puppyish ones. I love both of those, but I’d definitely like more (especially a basset hound or a corgi).
As was already linked above, this wiki article tells you exactly which achievements will give a Mastery point, for central Tyria and Maguuma. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mastery_point_unlocks
How many character slots can you have? I have 9. How much are they each?
You can have 60+. They’re 800 gems each.
I deleted my norn female thief and my norn female ranger for reasons. I didn’t remember until a week after deleting the thief that she was my 500 huntsman and leatherworker, though. So, don’t do that.
Apparently everything these days is a fail of someone doesn’t like it.
The “Fail” is a headline to attract more people to come to this thred.
“Norn in Snowden Drift found a dead dolyak. What he did with the corpse will blow your mind!”
I laughed SO hard at this.
Glad we could help.
Too bad we still look bald while wearing it.
Aren’t they already like that? I’m pretty sure the recharge is 25% shorter if you pick up the turret.
I was born two days before the Purple Rain movie came out.
I was born about 2 months before Purple Rain movie came out.
1984 is the best year to be born, clearly.
Recipe sheets are account bound; the actual recipe, however, is only learned on one character at a time. When you double click on the Box of Recipes, the recipes are automatically learned on that character. So, if you opened it on a character that doesn’t have weaponsmithing, you kind of shot yourself in the foot. You can buy a new Chest of the End from Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs, though, for around 10k karma. He’s standing next to the armorsmith and weaponsmith stations in LA.
Yeah, at launch the statues were controlled by their corresponding temple (ie. Melandru temple being uncontested meant that all Melandru statues were uncontested). However, sometime ago (over a year ago) they made it so that the temple CLOSEST to the statue controls whether or not it is contested. Unfortunately, though, that particular Melandru statue is always a pain.
Yay. I’m glad to see this thread is back.
Ah, in that case, yes, that is a bug of sorts. It seems to only affect that particular skill point, too. But in any case, see if you have a friend with a thief or engineer. If not, shout out in map chat and ask for help from one. I’ve been able to get that hero point by having someone stealth me as I was next to the thing.
That’s not a bug. The statues in Orr are contested when the temple closest to it is also contested. When the statues are contested they will have an AOE affect around them; Melandru statues create vines that cripple you and make you bleed. You can get the point by helping to complete temple events, or you can stealth to not be hit by the vines.
Good. I’ll be happy to see this getting fixed finally.
It’s always cool to see how many people in their middle ages and even older play this game (and other games). I wish I could get my parents into these games. I think it’d be good for them, particularly for my dad.
I’m old enough to despise children.
Is there an actual age requirement for this… I mean seriously they despise them selves and grow old to continue despising children.
True story. I couldn’t stand kids when I was still technically a kid.
Let’s just say I was a teenager during the decade of big hair and legwarmers.
My generation is probably at least partially responsible for the hole in the ozone layer.
Curse you, Aquanet!
I was born two days before the Purple Rain movie came out.
How can you people not handle 120?
Because they’re used to a low ping on their connection. If you were used to a low ping, you’d complain about 120, too. :p
“Simple answer, yes. We didn’t need to nerf dungeons like that. But we also don’t have a dungeons team to keep dungeons updates. So that’s the dilemma.”
Have to call them out on the dungeon comment.
Funny how they bring up no dungeon dev team. Funny, they could Nerf dungeons with no team, but can’t restore the rewards. Why won’t they just restore them to their previous state? They didn’t say they couldn’t restore the rewards. They said they are going to reconsider the rewards.

We’re continuing to focus on Fractals as our primary focus for 5-man content. However, given the reaction, we are taking a second look at the current dungeon rewards.I wasn’t calling them out on what they were considering, I was making an observation on how they can nerf this aspect of the game with no team but can’t do anything about it without a specialized team. So in others words, Doublespeak.
That’s not what they said. They said they regret pushing people away from dungeons but that they don’t have a dungeon team to UPDATE the dungeons. He wasn’t referring to the reward nerf when he was talking about the lack of a dungeon team.

They said in the AMA that they are taking a “second look” at dungeon rewards due to the negative response to the change.
I was under the impression that the 10% crafting exp bonus was more for the benefit of alts, since your alts get the benefit of it even if they’re not level 80.
Also, you didn’t get those Mastery points by leveling alts to 80 or by doing world completion on all of them, if that’s what you’re implying. You got them from various achievements you completed. So, all the exp your alts have gained really doesn’t factor into the Mastery track since none of it happened after HoT/after they hit 80 in HoT.
What Andraus said; you won’t get Mastery exp from crafting.
With the exception of Ogden, they’re all either dead, still turned to stone and fighting underground, or living as hermits (while turned to stone).
we dont know that for sure.
Remember Eye of the North expansion and how that opened up some races to learning new stuff about races they had already knew about.
so its possible we still dont know everything about the Dwarfs.
Yeah, except every dwarf in existence was affected by the Rite of the Great Dwarf and, eventually, gave into it. So, I just think it’s unlikely Anet would suddenly say “Oh, this one group of dwarves over here wasn’t affected!” and let us play them. That being said, I wouldn’t mind it too much if they opted to let us play as the dwarves who are underground when/if we fight Primordus.
Did you go back and make sure you have all the POIs/hearts/waypoints added since launch? There are new waypoints in Orr, new POIs in LA/DR/various maps, and new hearts in Caledon Forest and Plains of Ashford. You should also note that if you got 100% map completion on that character before all of those new things were added, you won’t get the completion rewards for getting them now (because you already got them once).
As for your royal guard outfit, the only thing I can think of is make sure your in-game mailbox isn’t full. If it’s not full and the mail isn’t there, then I’d contact support to get it.
With the exception of Ogden, they’re all either dead, still turned to stone and fighting underground, or living as hermits (while turned to stone).
You can get one very easily just by taking a level 10 character through the first tiny bit of Eye of the North. You’ll just do the mission where you meet Ogden and Vekk, run to the Eye of the North with your heroes/henchmen, meet Gwen, and then get a tapestry for basically doing just that.
That’s because you’re making a staff component; those are only made by artificers. Ignore what it says on the tool tip that implies you can make it on a huntsman or weaponsmith because it’s extremely misleading. You can ONLY use the legendary weapon precursor recipes on the crafting disciplines that can make the legendary weapon precursor you’re working towards. For example: focus, staff, scepter, trident would all be made on an artificer. So, since you’re making a staff, you should ONLY learn those precursor recipes on an artificer (preferably one that is at 500 or close to 500).

Ive never seen the game randomly make you reset your password, something doesn’t seem right there, I know support makes you reset your password when you ask them to change any details on the account, ( email etc ) but for the game to make you do it randomly.
I would wait and see what support comes back with.
Could your friend have taken any screen shots of a guild list or pvp etc that might show a char name?
If I recall correctly, they made everyone change their password some time ago (like, well over a year ago). The person in the OP might have just not logged on since before that forced change.
It was in October right after release (so 2-3 months of the game being live). Right after Blizzard had their massive security breach. Anet forced everyone then to try to prevent shared information on their accounts. Your memory serves you well.
Yay, I remember things!
The monstrosity will be back in the gemstore eventually.

No, you can craft them. You’ll have to get either artificer, huntsman, or weaponsmith to between 425 and 500 (depending on the discipline) to craft them. You’ll have to gather a lot of wood to craft them, and they’re time-gated (can only make one glob of elder spirit residue per day).
