ele sure I react on that warriors top cleave. Eles are pretty much exploit now so I dont count them:-P

Few ppl ask me lately if this build is still viable after berserk nerf (I heard how some warriors cry about 40% dmg nerf.. srsly?) So I made today some dmg screen on same boss as in first post:-) Again without food (always forgot) and without bloodlust but this time in ascended gear instead of exotic and numbers are pretty much same. I had some 9k hits other day but forgot make screens:-P

Its also possible that engi will do way less because a significant portion is condi damage. :>
Zerk power engi havent much hybrid damage in roration (if you dont count vulnerability). There is few bleeds from minor buts its like 5% dps tops

Dolyak runes heal is imo too small amount to be worth. Melandru or Water will suit this build much better.

There is no way how to split zergers if they dont want to. Its in human nature move in crowd if you are weak alone. For that you will need some crazy complicated system what will somehow dynamicly affect players if they fight 1vX.

Its hot join its not competetive lets reward ppl for they actual successes.
- remove points entirely just keep 15 minutes/match
- keep teams but let game autobalance without manual switchning
- only one score on the end for all players together. Rewards will still depends on same rules like before like capturing points but rewarded will be actual players not teams.
- smaller scale format will also be great like 3v3.

Also ist hot join. Personaly I going there because I want kill ppl I dont care about points (and dont need care about ruining someone elses ladders or so) and nothing makes me angry more than I got autobalanced to other side in the middle of fight especialy when I am just about finishing someone.

Nah better punish those filthy sideswitchers. No win rewards, max half of reward points and no count to daily/monthly progress.
So people just wait and stack to a team then? Sideswitching is done to counter a bigger cancer to the game (stacking).
Your kneejerk bandaid would just make stacking worse and even more permanent.
No it just unlearn bad switching habits and learn them to lose battle sometime. But sideswitchers can be eliminate much easier simply don allow them to chose side few sec longer than autobalance ends so they cant spam join wining team right after.

The range nerf to turret knockback was totally warranted. Turret engi is such a stupid spec to fight if you don’t have access to lots of stability.
That trait isnt reason why are turrets so good and smart engi used that kb only as neccessary interupts so its not nerf:-).

Everytime they said something about balance something (exept warriors ofc) they actualy mean nerfing it into ground… Engi is now finally after 2 years in good place. It about time to nerf it… pardon balance..

you really don’t want to put a ton of effort into a risky class with a high margin for error when you can AFK with a hammer guardian.
And this is whole class chosing problem in nutshell. While other classes spam one button we play on piano to achieve same results. High risk needs high reward. Engi has high risk but no high reward.

Ele is best dps because of FGS and that skill is on edge of exploiting. But personaly agree we are 2nd:-)

Off topic but how exactly does PU Mesmer kill turret emgineers?
Point was about cheese builds what kill almost everything without much effort:-)

i just assume both Celestial and Zerk build use exactly the same buff, traits and skill…
so the only different is GEAR…
However, Zerk build must get more Might than Celestial build since zerk has higher critical chance…
so… what does lead ur conclusion to " only loss 16% dps"?

Zerk has bit higher crit dmg and crit chance (with fury and banner chance doest matter much) but celest has higher condi dmg so its made it pretty much even. Might has fixed value.

Regarding the dungeon thing Rozbuska, I didn’t know that, thanks for the info. Alternatively, I’m getting downed a lot just running through Orr or in dungeon runs as dps so I’m trying to toughen up a little or look for alternative builds as well.
Actualy basicly all dungs are very easy in any gear if you run them right so best advice is look on some video and learn boss mechanics where to stay when dodge ect.

If you have party with someone you can log out and log back it reset it if you was knocked out and you can try again. Best way is wait till he have low HP and jump up there with long term stability like Tornado, Rampager ect.

fractals is a different matter entirely from dungeons and solo exploration/farming…
I know but idea of this build and gear is to have one great build for all PvE situations. It quite hard for our class to have one buld and set of gear for everything and this works pretty well:-)

You never dodge everything. In dungeons ok its possible but for example high lvl fractals try survive lvl 49 grubs on fire shaman in zerk:-) In celest you can easily:-)

Hi guys. Recently many ppl ask me what build I am using in general PvE and non-zerk dungeon runs. Basicly since feature patch I use this build with little tweaks and its great in multiple ways. Massive damage, decent survability and great support in one build. I am sure lots of you using something simillar but I dont saw here anything like it so..:-)
Why Celestial is so good.
I heard lots of ppl lately throwing dirt on Celestial on how bad its in PvE compare to Berserk because it has only half of power ect and so on. Well wrong. Those guys dont realize damage wise are raw stats on gear only quite minor part of actual dps. You need calculate with Might, Vulnerability, traits, runes, sigils, food, class buffs ect. So when we compare Zerk vs Celest its not 50% dps loss its barely 16%. In exchange for that you get great survability and healing power boost what opening support possibilities while still outputting massive dmg.
So what this build can do
- Perma 25 stacks of might and 25 stacks of vulnerability, massive dmg output
- Great survability compare to dps
- Stacking might or stealth for party via blasts
- Very decent party healing and condi removing via Healing Turret and Elixir Gun.
- Great fo dung speed runs. You can use Zerk gear instead but trust me your zerk buddies dont even notice you not wearing Zerk:-P
- Great for solo farming (T6 mats for example)
WTF Condi duration food in PvE?
Yes thats right. With +100 power food you will see bigger numbers but trust me if you manage keep 25 stack of vulnerability overall damage of whole party will much bigger than you get from +100 power food. Also while solo condi are big part of your damage and its help melt mobs even faster.
Rotation and stuff
- Rotation is easy: Blunderbuss-> Jump Shot -> Shrapnel Greande -> Freeze Grenade -> Fire Bomb -> Acid Bomb -> spam Bomb (#1) repeat. Toolbelt skills everytime they are ready
- Might stacking is pretty easy basicly you will get Might as byproduct of rotation just dont forget use Healing Turret/Med Kit swap every 10s
- You can boost your stealth duration up to like 16s if you use Shield and Thumper Turret instead Greanders for smoke blast (7 blasts in total 8 if you use Elite)
Modifications and tips
Different situations will need small modifications to build to be even more effective
- In dungeons if someone else stacking might switch Enhanced Performance for Explosive Powder and weapon for another rifle with Night and Bloodlust sigils.
- For solo farming is best change Moddified Ammunition for Bunker Down. Its significantly increase your dps while kiting smartly.
- While soloing is better switch Healing Turret for Med Kit its much better for stacking might fast.

The crystal effects dissapear after 10 seconds, unless you pick up another crystal.
They stack in duration.If you do the jp from start to end while picking up every crystal on the way smoothly, you end up having a 2m+ timer and plenty of time to jump without feeling pressured.
That what I did smooth jumping without any breaks gather all crystals on the way and still same.

I know they reappear but that timer I dont know. When you jump on that last platform under googles it disappear every time and you get last crystal just before that no way its more than 10s
