I quite like it. Just grandmaster traits are bit meh. Also what we need is bit more team support and those ideas have quite space for it

IMO what engi needs are some improovements what gives him something extra for party. Literaly every other class have something like war banners, ranger spotter, mesmer alacrity ect and we have nothing. NOTHING.
All our skills what have that great potential affect only us or are super clunky to use like fumigate.
Most ridiculous is MedKit – great buffing idea killed by affecting ONE tatget and ofc by that kitten ground targetting.
Experimental turrets – Amazing idea but dont work. Turrets still dont have enough HP (what about with that trait made them immortal but dont attacking just buffing) and apply only common buffs what you have always maxed anyway. Its need separate stackable buffs.
Elixirs – Still are partialy RNG. You could forgive that in casual dungeons but now in raids? No there isnt place for rng. They are also week compare to kits. Make them at least aoe for B for example
Juggernaut – this trait is already strong but do you know much more youseful would be engi in WvW if it apply stability also to party?

Iron Blooded – Perfect candidate for party buff like empowered allies.

MMO gaming mouse could solve your problem pretty well, Logitech G600, Razer Naga, Corsair Scimitar or any other with more than 15 keys. Also I used successfuly in past wheel pedals as extra buttons.

What really bothers me is cast time change on HT. Other classes have fast cast heals too but I dont see any nerf there. But overall its not a big deal and some scrubs will have 1% better chance to interrupt:-P

Superior Sigil of Whirling Deflection – Create a whirlwind that reflects projectiles when executing a whirl finisher. (Cooldown: 10 Seconds)
Superior Sigil of Explosive Vortex – Pull nearby enemies towards you when executing a blast finisher (600 radius). (Cooldown: 10 Seconds)

Well there is not that many ‘popular’ 3rd party programs here so what about we will make some short list and Gaile will say yes or no.
Some of that can have different interpretation lets say dps meter. It do not get me any advantage immediately but it help me get better over time.

Fights arent always fair, you will never have perfect balance because balance is definition of boredom. If Anet will react to every kid tear soon we will have 1v1 combat restrictions because 1v3 is unfair.
Some build are better then other same as there are better players than me or you who will outplay you no matter what. Man up, get better and learn to lose sometime.

If you look at TC standalone its pretty weak skill for that long cd. Damage is pretty long, stun is short and no bonus dazes on pulses or anything but together with all other hammer skills beeing cool its ok I guess:-)

Without any significant effort and effect on current ‘balance’.. Revert ground targetting back to orginal putting under feet mechanic. Ofc Medkit will need much more work to be viable choice but its start.

Depends on engi build and ranger build ofc. If engi is builded for permareflect and ranger for bearbow, ranger will die very quickly:-)

My idea of mechanic is something I personaly call Kinetic Energy. It works bit like revs energy bar but you dont need that energy to use your skills and charging will work differently.
Kinetic energy is energy of movement there will be unique way how to charge that bar. As first you will have toggle button whenever you wanna charge or discharge it. In charging mode bar will be filled by your actions with different income. For example standing still will charging it very slowly, moving faster, dodge will recharge bigger chunk of it, swinging with big hammer will charge more then shooting with pistol for example.
When you set it for discharge it will amplify/alter few next skill what you will using. For example Flame Jet will have bigger range, Hammer skills will deal more damage and add short stuns, rocket boots will send you further and you knockback everything in your way ect.

when youre getting use out of it while zerging its a snowball mechanic to make you win harder. and its worthless in a losing fight where youre rallying your opponents with deaths instead of getting the kills.

Durability runes are way cheaper and if you wanna facetank hoards of mobs in HoT maps you cant go there with Zerk/Scholar combo. Imo much better idea for Scrapper is take Traveler Runes instead of Leadership and take Alchemy instead of Inventions for another 20% boon duration a run sume FT/Elixir build.

Depends on what you call open world. This type of builds arent for anything else then farming events in zerg or eotm. Ofc there its excelent.
I personaly using this one for farming HoT maps (still dont have one of accessory tho):
I dont do some significant damage (dps is 6k tops) but in open world events its doesnt matter because there its about tag everything for loot (or xp if you need them for mastery) and there is no better skill in game for that than flame jet:-)
Survability is just insane I can swim i chaks seeing all around dying like flies and still kill them all.
After 2 years of using them I cant understand why almost noone using sigil of restoration and stamina. I consider them most OP sigils for open pve and wvw zerging.
For runes I prefer durability over leadership (i am still at 90% boon duration even without alchemy)
Perma quickness is nice especialy for open chests:-)

What do you talking about. TD is most amazing map in the game. Perfect design, interesting events and meta. Layount is simply amazing piece of art and if you have problems with navigate well. You probably have also problem navigate on into your own bathroom probably.

Well everytime I see post like this I want force those ppl to make video where they achieve with engi same level of skill what they cant win against. Engi have hardest learning curve in game and high skill should be properly rewarded.
We were here at the start when engi was most underpowered class. We learned it perfectly and squezed from class everything we could to make us competetive. Now when Anet boosted engi in line with other classes we are sudenly superior/overpowered to some. Why? Its not because our class is better but because engi players are generaly better then rest due to that need to be good in past when engi wasnt cool yet.

Scrappers seem to have too many survivability tools… They have a trait that triggers at 25% hp giving them invulnerability for around 3-4 seconds, multiple ways to heal, speed, etc… Does anyone else feel the same way?
You just prooved that you know nothing about this trait. You cant do anything while shrinked exept runing around like headless chicken and pray that point what you captured so hardly before dont get decaped by that crap. Only braindead metabattle copypasters using this trait and if you are not able to deal with those ppl well you should consider to not play pvp at all.

In past few day I was testing simillar idea in wvw roaming but with rifle instead of hammer. Basicly Commander’s (power, prec, tough, concentration) armor and weapons, Zerk trinkets, Agility sigil, Leadership runes and boon duration food I got into 100% boon duration. That way you get up to 9s quickness (6s from trait, 2s from rune and boon stays up 1s after timer ends) every 10s without Elixir U.
Now there are multiple ways how to keep 25 stacks of might with that many boon duration. I find best for this HGH way instead of FT and used Elixir H Elixir Gun and Rocket Boots for stacking and maximum mobility. Last utility is moderate you can use Elixir B or even Blast Gyro for extra spike damage for example. Elite Sneak gyro ofc.
Results was awesome basicly 4-6k autoattacks loaded with almost perma quickness was devastating for most of the targets:-)

I was thinking about maxing out boon duration for power builds (for solo) and get 6s from that trait. Its fairly easy go get to that point. 30% from food and stone, 20% from alchemy, 30% leadership runes, Commander’s or Wanderer’s gear pieces make a rest. With that many boon duration we should get almost 20 might just by holding FT

Does anyone else agree that spending as much resources they do on an aspect of the game the clearly are failing at is a waste? The money could be spent in other places, sad to say because I joined this game for pvp but they are really blowing it. Pro players manipulating matches, tt is hardly watched by anyone, they refuse to do anything about purposeful trolling. I am sorry but this is not Esports not even close.

It’s a really awesome trait but is it better than adaptive armour? Although it can 100% be a very good trait in a lot of builds ie. HGH and FT builds.
For PvE its definetly huge dps boost, for PvP will be AA probably still better

Nah what we srsly need here is go back to splitting skills for game modes. It was one of announced features for gw2 befor release and they drop it shortly after because casuals had hard time to understand. Well its time to learn your classes casuals because non spliting crippling the game more and more.
