people calling this a buggy mess must be very new to MMO’s …
I think back to the first few months of Everquest 1, and 2.. DOAC, WoW, Lineage2, AoC, Vanguard, WAR… this launch has been remarkably solid and bug free.
Lol I remember AoC launch, game was pretty much unfinished completely after the starting zones. And now it’s F2P
It’s fine. You shouldn’t be buying every piece of it at once, then it may feel like a grind. Try buying one piece, and you get your goods bit by bit and it is completely optional, I still don’t see too many people running around in cultural armor. Sure, TONS of dungeon armors, but no cultural. Yes I know there are plenty out there that have it, me included, and I didn’t have to grind too much. I mostly played the market.
You’d be surprised how many people simply check the “sell” button on TP when they get an automatic pricing by the current buyer instead of checking what the lowest seller is and at the very least meeting in the middle, also, you can buy items being sold for low and sell them high. I do it all the time and make tons of profit.
You don’t actually have to pve to make money…
WvW does require gear for you to be efficient. Spvp is where there is no grind and unfortunately you don’t make any money there. So I would recommend buying some karma gear from the WvW vendors, I believe they go up to rare. That alone will give you a ton more survival since I’m assuming you’re still in greens or worse.
ANet has nerfed every farm the public has found even though they deny being against farming, which is hilarious at best so enjoy the slow grind, what this game is all about.

OT: No, I don’t tip players for help. Never even thought about it :/ I am not rich yet though, I used to tip people in WoW for minor things like enchanting my weapon even though I had the mats for it, or giving me a portal to somewhere which took 5 seconds of their time. I’d tip big, too so they always there to port me again when I need it

It wouldn’t be so bad if your character didn’t move at snail speed when in combat. Like, no joke. I feel like I’m being trolled every time I get hit by a mob and frustration just sets in. It’s akin to being dazed on your mount in WoW. Nothing but annoyance, no it doesn’t make you “feel” the dangers of the zone, it doesn’t add anything important.
When I was level 60 on my Ranger I felt like I was level 80. Now that I’m level 80 with max gear I feel like I’m level 60. :/
I thought this funny too, I felt much much stronger at lower levels. Because you are. Stat’s scale better, I think.
You both can use the surname
If I used rukia bonfire you could use rukia icefire etc.
Yea well this keeps the lemmings going new stats more dps oh lookey there a monster to kill omg he has 1 billion health lucky i got higher stats on my new gear so i have higher dps its just a numbers game they play on the people running to get new higher stat gear cuz after all they are soo skilled rather boring if you ask me
I hate how ANet claims they are catering to the community as a whole, yet what has been given to GW players? Grind, more grind, oh and eventually our level increases. Linear skills & combat. Come on, it’s pretty obvious what’s going on. WoW2.0
Fun combat not allowed? Not sure if we’re playing the same game. I loved GW1 but there’s give and take with everything and I much prefer this new system to the old.
IDK, I played thief and using the same 1 or 2 skills constantly got pretty old quick, no matter what weapon set it was. Tons of hours in, I don’t even see what ANet was thinking about longevity. No fun combo system like in GW1 assassin, all my damage is just instant faceroll..
Bring back Signet of Deadly Corruption for my Thiefie too.
That would be nice. Psn/Wkns/Crip/Bleed/Vuln etc. = burst by signet of deadly corruption. Virtually all builds could use it, idk what it would scale off of though, power I guess, and do you think it would have a chance to crit, it didn’t in GW1.
Won’t happen though… fun combat not allowed in GW2, would be nice to be able to set up combo’s instead of most fields just being condition damage and all damage being mostly instant.
(edited by Rukia.4802)
Lol. Sad. I never even heard of this.
If GW1 was not a ghost town right now I would be playing that, all I have to say. Worst thing that ever happen to GW1 was indeed GW2.
I made a new character recently, I’m a level 20 Ranger. Working on getting all the mission s in Tyria completed. You’re welcome to play with me! Aiden Reichbane.
Shoot me a PM when you are on hard mode because I need those on my sin
This would be the only thing that makes GW2 interesting but they won’t do it. And Ditton, some skills could be used for certain parts of a dungeon or area. In GW1 you didn’t just choose a random set of skills and be able to clear any part of the game lol they had certain functions, like if an area was heavy with ranged you build against it, if it was heavy melee you build against it. etc.
It just makes the game less boring, that’s all. The current skill/build system is just atrocious idk how anyone can enjoy it sticking to one build forever… to each his own I guess. One of the things I loved about WoW was it used to be pretty great with talent specs, you could just play the way you wanted in vanilla and build as a hybrid if you wanted but now they are extremely linear like GW2 is. Idk why games keep going for linear, it’s not interesting at all. More builds and skills to choose from can only bring good to the game, there will always ALWAYS be balance issues in an MMO so that should not even be a topic of discussion honestly.
I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone but I would not care if they chose to play it themselves, they probably won’t be that disappointed unless they played GW1. It’s just another typical MMO but without good healers and tactics.
Culling bugs can be best exploited by mesmers and thieves. that’s why they seem favored.
Mesmers and thieves are just plain better than engineers. Also, having played all 3, I found engineers to be boring. This seems to be a consensus.
And thieves aren’t?…. I’ve played every proff and thief is just bland as hell. We rarely swap for anything other than escaping or getting around, whatever your build is based around, it’s one weapon set. Meaning you are spamming 3, 5, and 1 on one weapon set 99% of the time. Wooo so fun. A pve rotation in WoW has 10x the variety than this, which is sad.
IMO ele’s are the most fun to play because they are very action oriented on D/D you are switching elements every second of every second using a ton of all your skills.
Thieves at least have the stealth mechanic going for them and the ability to kill a target fast. Engineers should have crazy gadgets or impressive machines or something but just… don’t.
I dunno about you but stealth doesn’t make my profession any more exciting and the last time I fought an engineer he had a bunch of turrets that shot missiles or w/e at me that kept knocking me down. That’s pretty cool… it’s something. Not to mention laying a ton of bombs on the ground. IDK, maybe it’s not that great I never tried an eng but it sure looked fun compared to what I had.
GW1 did not stay on par with WoW financially…not even close. WoW made billions, Anet could have left NCsoft if they made Billions.
Sure, but that ship has sailed. Dozens of companies have tried to make a WoW-clone and failed, because WoW got there first. The skinner box tactic only really works on someone once. There will never be another WoW.
WoW made it’s money by selling an addictive, expensive, unethical product. They give you a free sample to taste, then jack the price up sky high.
You could make billions selling crack too.
It doesnt matter, Gw1 had nowhere near the subscriptions either. You did not give me parameters to discuss or a regulation I had to follow, the statement was made that Gw1 is on par with WoW and that is a fallacy. In utility to the people who played Gw1? Yes, that much is probably true. In any sense of general numbers though like number of players, number of subs, money made..GW1 is not on par with WoW.
Where are you even going with this? It’s a fact WoW has made more money than GW1, no one even argued that it didn’t. If you ask any GW player they would tell you the same thing. They played the game because it had no VP and monthly fee and that it is the best MMO they ever played, including me. And I am still playing GW1 so all these people saying to go back to it (in other threads) can lay off because I can still voice my opinion on how horrible this sequel is.
And in my eyes, we were betrayed, it’s all about money figures now. It used to be about the players that loved GW, not once did GW ever gain VP and they handled that magnificently. GW had a heavy playerbase that was loyal and now they lost most of it, all of my friends have quit GW2, that is saying something. 10 people and we’re all back at GW vanquishing and trying our best to get some pvp going in a dead game. Because we would rather play that than this crap.
We along with our other guild mates planned on going full hardcore in GW2, completing all missions (oh sorry, crappy stories) and dungeons but instead pretty much facepalmed about a month in.
ANet used to care about US, so yeah, we did expect GW2 to be “OUR” MMO. Hence the outrage with all this 180 bullcrap on every philosophy they’ve ever had for the past 7+ years.
It’s an entirely new franchise with the name guild wars 2…. they should have named it world of wedontevenknowwhatwe’redoingcraft with all the funky randomness of adding a new tier of gear and horrible “balances” or lack thereof. I mean, GW has had a history of silly balances but wow GW2 pvp is just horrible.
“ArenaNet (sort of) held a hard line against all VP with GW1 — no VP ever, year after year — and it wasn’t that fun. It was stagnant.” -Mike O’brien, 11/27/12
http://www.reddit.com/user/Mike-OBrien-ArenaNet
What a fail reply by Mike O’brien. This just proves they don’t get it anymore. If they are wondering why GW died it’s because they completely abandoned all of us with no pvp balance or content to work on GW2 for YEARS. Anyone who actively played GW1 played it because IT HAD NO VP. Wow, is it seriously THAT HARD to get it through their heads? Jesus.
GW1 was NOT stagnant. I hate Mike O’brien with a passion now, I thought he was smarter than that. Just confirmation of the failure of GW2, it has no future with me.
Proves he is a tool and does not get it. Then Why call it GW2 since it is nothing like GW1?
Right to play off the success of the game and use the members of that community to support you in this game until you throw them under the bus when it suits you. That is how resentment is built and they then go out and make one hell of noise and how bad you and your company is- They NEVER let it go. Think SWTOR – SWG/NGE ect. Those groups made that game toxic and I see that happening here now.
It doesnt matter where I stand because the others are going to carry this a lot farther then I ever could and Anet may never recover.
My thoughts exactly. And without a ton of vertical progression this game isn’t going anywhere. They tried to make GW2 half GW and half WoW, and it just doesn’t work. It’s linear, grindy, and all around boring with a dead world and they expect people to keep playing? Yeah… good luck with THAT.

What I’d pay for new content/expansion/campaign in GW1 …..
People may have complained about the cap level not being higher but it was never done, unlike some games lately. Also those dungeons were fun.
And took time to figure out what builds should be used, what skills to bring, trial and error which pretty much doesn’t exist in GW2. You can do basically any content with any utilities… it’s insanely boring. I am running the same build with the same utilities 24/7 on my thief. Crit/SA with power/crit/tough gear. There is literally no need to EVER change my build or utilities.
In GW1 you would run into all kinds of things like needing a necro’s corpse exploit skill or a skill that prevents enemies from rezzing, or what have you. In GW2, I haven’t once used scorpion wire or anything of the sort because why? It’s a complete waste. The devs didn’t design anything around much of our skills. You just go in, faceroll, collect your reward. What makes this even more disappointing is our incredibly tiny amount of utility skills to choose from, I mean how hard would it be to make us use some of them once in a while?
This game amounts to nothing but pewpew.
“Why on Earth would they make the same game twice?”
Call of Duty has been doing that for years, made a lot of cash for them
Lol bazinga! I am enjoying black ops 2 very much though, they have gotten pretty much everything right except for the non-dedicated servers, which let’s face it, CoD will never have because they are too cheap (console)
OT: I feel the same way as OP. Why so much change? There was a reason GW1 had the following it did.
They did break their design compared to GW1 though, and that’s where people are coming from. Not so much the manifesto. A lot of us are actually GW fans, ya know?
And I will take my favorite (and most disappointing) quote from the GW2 manifesto:
“GW2 takes everything you love about GW1 and puts it into a persistent world” which is complete BULLCRAP.
1) Naming this game GW2, failure to deliver anything GW.
2) Blizz implementing dungeon and raid finder, turning WoW into the joke it is today.. also, panda’s… lolreally, talk about pulling at strings. Pretty much anything past wotlk.
3) Swtor, instafail I couldn’t even make it past level 10 it is just a terrible terrible game, idk if they could have made it any more generic but story is not only what an MMO is about. Felt like I was in a crappy F2P game.
4) FFXIV, hands down the worst game in MMO history. I mean, is it even possible to fail harder than that? I think not. And their single player RPGs are failing just as bad too. I honestly feel bad for enix at this point.
In short: No one “gets it.” I’m sure there’s tons more but I haven’t tried em.
OP is a scholar and a gentleman.
I agree.
Loved when I saw the spawn rate nerf on plinx, then I remembered a comment from a dev a while back saying they don’t mind farming, in fact they encouraged it, blah blah, lol is that why plinx was nerfed? Because you support farming? Ok ANet, more lies on top of more lies… sigh.
Why are people so mad about ascended items when that’s not even one of the major problems with this game, and no there is nothing like GW1 and the reason not everyone is running back to it is no updates or content, devs haven’t balanced pvp in eons and pve is a joke as well. I go back to VQ once in a while but playing a dead game is not fun.
What GW2 is missing is the main elements of GW1, not just no grind, but lots of skills and builds, missions, free trait changes, saved templates, etc. I’m more pissed that combat is just so linear and you can only change out your utilities to mix it on up classes like the thief. I mean really, could they have made that profession any more lame?
GW2 is no different than WoW in the respect that you will most likely choose a talent build and play that for an entire expansion. Boring much.
(edited by Rukia.4802)
With each campaign added they brought new skills and a new profession and campaigns were released quite fast iirc. I looked up the total and there is 1319 skills you could use after eye of the north, I can’t remember how many there was at release because that was over 6 years ago for me.
What is GW1 end game can a GW1 player please explain?
Cosmetic rewards + running dungeons and vanquishing, which is when you clear mobs in an entire area or “zone” you get a reward for it. And pvp that wasn’t total garbage when ANet gave a crap about balancing. Also using different builds, a lot of people called it build wars, well because that’s pretty much what it was and it gave the game a lot of replayability.
There were thousands of different skills in GW1. That may be a slight exaggeration as I don’t quite remember the exact number but there was a ton. I would say there was at least around 800 to 1k skills.
It was almost like building a magic deck, always trying to improve and counter the people you played against, instead GW2 took a linear and extremely boring road. Yeah there were meta builds, but meta’s always changed as well. Meta’s don’t change in GW2. Not enough skills or builds honestly.
(edited by Rukia.4802)
OP is 100% correct, and removal of monthly fee means nothing. People will pay for a game they enjoy. I wouldn’t even play GW2 for free (which it is)
I’ll tell you why this is a horrible game, and this is the first time I’ve posted in a while because I have quit GW2 so I see no need to create a thread and rant but I had a urge this evening to play GW and it just dawned on me how big of a disappointment this game was.
This is far and away the single biggest let down I’ve experienced in my gaming life. What REALLY makes me frustrated is ANet don’t care or just simply can’t see the problem or won’t acknowledge it because the players don’t matter anymore, their share holders do.
ANet doesn’t exist anymore. the only people I still have respect for are people like ree soesbee, because they really have amazing lore writers oh and their art team to of course. But developers just don’t know a thing about what made GW great. It’s obvious they have way too many people on the team at this point and are taking all the wrong suggestions + making all the wrong moves.
But like I said, no longer the ANet we knew. It’s all about revenue now. They want to attract the sheep that we avoided like the plague by playing GW1. That’s what made the game so great, you could get a full set of max armor and switch your build out any time, for free! In Failwars 2 I don’t even have saved build templates and it costs money for some stupid reason, no GvG, no good healing/support. no nothing like GW.
The manifesto of GW2 said that it took all the things we loved about GW1 and put it into a big persistent world, but let me translate this for you: “we took everything you loved about GW1, took a huge dump on it, and made a persistent world.” That’s pretty much how I feel about this failure of a sequel. I knew GW2 would be different, but with the removal of pretty much everything that made GW fun and so replayable it’s just too much of a disappointment to even log in and play.
GW2 has zero replayability, no matter how much content they add. Why? Because the builds are boring, there are no templates to save your builds anyways, you need to grind (lololo remember dat no-grind policy?) multiple different set combinations to even make those builds viable, like who is going to run a full condition build on an armor set with no condition damage? I spent 13g on my exotics and now I’m broke, I kinda have a social life.
Something else amazing about GW1, I could have a life and play an MMO at the same time and experience all the content. I can’t believe people calling GW2 soooo casual, lol clearly you never played GW. Even when I was on vacation or on a weekend from work/life and playing GW for hours on end it would never get boring. Honestly at this point, the way gear and builds work, I believe WoW is even more casual than GW2.
GW has never been about stat’s, but since BlizzNet have done a whopping 180 on everything I guess it is now.
inb4 post deletion + ban, not like it matters since I don’t play anymore. if I were to compare this to an equally horrible letdown I think only FF13 could make the list. what the hell is wrong with gaming companies these days… enjoy your world of guild wars craft, yet another company who sold its soul.
oh by the way, great one time epic event guys.. it was so bugged I couldn’t even do it and I didn’t have time to sit around waiting for hours with everyone else waiting for you to finally reset the servers.
Voting ME3 just out of spite, biggest let down lol my thoughts exactly Bruno.
I don’t like this poorly written scavenger hunt style ANet has been using with things like the halloween and lost shore event. I googled both of them just to get it over with, and come to find out this events hunt is so incredibly bugged you can’t even progress, great content update guys.. especially dat class balance ifyouknowwhatimean.
Oh well, one-time events are never a good idea anyway because not everyone gets to experience them.. especially when they run into a bunch of bugs and just don’t have the time or patience to wait around for ANet to fix them when they should have TESTED the event first… I mean come on guys…
Even less motivated to log in than I was after reading the class “balances” and gear treadmill.
But my rogue has hit 90 and I’m 46 now on BO2 yeaaaa boii it’s fun playing games that don’t ruin expectation because you know exactly what you’re getting!
(edited by Rukia.4802)
Black Ops 2 is amazing. Yes, GW2 is in trouble I’m sure I’ll never log in again, a dev can certainly regularly check my account for proof of this. I hope many other people are as serious as me and against this BS ANet are pulling. What a horrible direction they are going in.
I bought MoP recently after reading the thief changes and am enjoying grind more there than in a game that was supposed to have none.
Lol obviously not… typical PR bullcrap. At first sure, before giving into the “QQ there is no grind I come from WoW this game sucks no progression!” This could be seen coming though, ANet lied about much more in the manifesto than simply not creating gear treadmills. Most of us are just really surprised that it actually happened.
ANet have new staff, good PR that lies a lot and tells the devs what to say (then does a complete 180 on what they said would happen) to make more money. They aren’t the ANet we knew during GW1.
with this patch, the thief is literally doomed.
Glass cannons thieves have never been a problem ( they were only for nubz in hotjoin and w3), but with those nerfs they totally screwed balanced/pressure builds.
As an S/D player, i was expecting the nerf on tactical strike ( still it got hit too much, they could simply put the daze cap on 2.5 secs instead of the buggy 3 secs) but the nerf on Dancing Dagger and C&D totally destroys balanced/pressure builds, whose now have nothing to deal damage if not their autoattack.
Balanced backstab builds are screwed ( since those rely on constant medium-high damage with C&D+backstab, not on a single damage combo like the glass cannon builds) damage S/D builds are screwed, S/P builds were already screwed.
Now the only decent options we have are P/D venom share and D/D condi damage.
And since in tourneys there are better defenders than the thief, the only really good build we have is P/D venom share/cond damage. They compensate with nothing.
In PvP, Blinding powder will never be used if not by nubz or by stealth stacking builds, if you don’t run with Shadow Step ( or, in some niche builds , RFI) + Shadow refuge you are hopeless.
Venoms scaling with power won’t make power venom share builds viable, neither will make P/D power builds viable.
Shadow trap is still sub-par to portals, still it needs triggering by an enemy to activate.
No bug fixes with stealth ( channeling following you everywhere, pets following you everywhere etc).
No fixing/changes on bad skills ( Flanking strike pathing/being too slow to hit reliably, Shadow shot root on stab making it useless as a gap closer etc…)
A good portion of our Utility skills is still worthless, if not in some niche builds.
Basically the thief has been removed from competitive play.
Maybe some thieves will overcome this with their skill ( like retri paladins were able in WoW Tbc), but as soon as people will reach the skill platau, the thief will be destroyed by EVERY CLASS.
Again, the thief would be better off totally reworked: nerfing the class so hard doesn’t make any sense.
They’re going into the whack-a-mole game they were so afraid of.
Finally, someone that knows what they’re talking about. This is exactly what I’ve been trying to get across, balanced builds needs that constant medium damage since we have no burst like glass does. This hurts nothing but balanced… ANet has no freaking clue what they are doing.
ALSO…go to the elder scrolls online site…look at the new video…game seems to have a lot of GW2 features in it…dynamic events…WvWvW etc etc and better combat with blocking etc….it looks like Zenimax is taking ideas from GW2 and making them work better… Its things like this that will hurt GW2 in the long run if the other company takes their ideas and does it right…
Elder Scrolls plus the ideas Guild Wars 2 used to promote minus NcSoft sounds like a winner to me.
It truly does look amazing and I only saw alpha footage, they’ve done a great job taking the life of the RPG world and putting it into an MMO and yes the combat is very similar to GW2. If even only for the lore I am definitely going to play it, I want to see black marsh so bad and I hope they put their own version of it into ESO.
GW2 simply put was overhyped as hell with a bunch of lies by the devs themselves
Worst class balance I’ve ever witnessed. Been playing MMO’s for 8 years.
No compensation was even given for the DD or C&D nerfs on thief. Basically this patch is just a huge troll, and it worked, because my jimmies are so rustled I’ve left the game for now.
It’s already headed in the direction of a WoW model so say goodbye to anything GW related other than lore. Just another MMO. And looking at the recent skill “balances” which quite frankly made me laugh, and cry, this game has no chance honestly.
If this turns into the typical MMO it’s obvious that people will rather just move onto pandaland, because it does that model 10x better. I mean the entire game is based on gear grind so at least they aren’t being lied to. If you ask me, this game is already in the hole.
I bought MoP last night because the thief changes literally made no sense, I am still confused about them. Burst was almost completely untouched and balanced was nerfed… for real? Not even Blizz has ever done a balance this bad on my rogue.
Condition builds are a joke, obviously no one plays a thief over at head quarters. Maybe this should change.
You are horridly mistaken if you think they are a joke. Scorpion Wire to caltrops with the uncatchable trait and death blossom is EASY 25 stacks of bleed, pop spider venom mid fight, shortbow to keep poison on if cleared GG. An aware Bleed thief will own a glass thief every time.
Lol shadow’s embrace would render that build entirely useless. I haven’t once died to a condition thief, not once. But I also don’t run glass cannon, and I know anything can own a bad one. In a balanced setting though conditions are nothing short of a joke.
Shadow’s Embrace is more or less useless. Bleeds and the Poison are constant. P/D what are you gonna do CnD when you can’t touch me? You obviously are not that dumb to think good condi thiefs are dumb enough to let you stealth with CnD. Plus with ridiculous init regen. You’re just mad because Dancing Dagger got nerfed.
Yeah I am but why are you trying to make it out like condition thieves are so great when they’re not?… I’m done with you
PS: shadow’s embrace is also constant… well, a 3 sec cooldown in between stealths. It’s a hard counter to any condition build.
You also act like dodging the oh so blatant death blossom is hard or something..

Yep, it will be in lions arch via asura portal.
On the 16th, about an hour after the lost shores event starts I believe which would be like 1 or 1:30 pm pacific.
I’ll just leave this here since no one replied to my topic
With the incredibly silly nerfs to DD and C&D.
Are we even playing the same game as ANet? I am seriously confused here.
All this does is hurt balanced builds, glass cannons will still be bursty with BS, mug, and C&D. I essentially got a 50% damage reduction to any and all of my D/D balanced builds. Now I’ll be completely USELESS in terms of damage unless I spec glass cannon. Pure glass cannon.
Condition builds are a joke, obviously no one plays a thief over at head quarters. Maybe this should change.
Maybe you should take suggestions from people that know how to pvp and not from people that are angry because they entered W3 in starter gear and got hit with a 40k backstab or died on a glass cannon in spvp by… wait for it…. another glass cannon.
I am so disheartened right now. Truly seems you have no idea what you’re doing. This isn’t good, the future looks bleak.
E-sports is not going to happen, in fact the very thought is a joke if this is the kind of update we can expect on class balance.
Patch notes have taken all of my “what.” Don’t even want to log in for the event. Sad.
Blackops 2 time, later.
Added: I’ll go so far as to say Blizzard wouldn’t even dig a hole this deep, the changes are borderline insanity, you clearly have no clue what you are doing! I am actually infuriated by these changes, can’t believe they are so bad it actually put me in a bad mood.
They were too busy fail nerfing thieves to look at anything else. Oh by the way, they didn’t even nerf the problem with thief burst (mug + steal + C&D + backstab combo). I know, makes no sense but apparently they felt nerfing balanced builds was more appropriate. Dancing dagger down by 50% damage and C&D gets a 33% damage nerf. Lol
Obviously they want burst to be crazy OP in pvp, idk why it’s not even fun or takes any skill. Get punished for rolling anything but a glass cannon build… sigh.
I’m probably going to start playing WoW. If I want a game with vertical progression I might as well play the premiere one
I know, right? At least WoW is entirely based on it so it has a good model.
LOL.. guys be reallistic. Thieves were doing way to much damage in PVP. and you know it. There was no class the thief couldn’t handle. Burst was way to high and you know it.
But they didn’t fix the burst
This is what’s so funny about the whole affair. They nerfed everything BUT burst lol…

My thief has now been rerolled into the legendary bank class, honestly why was tactical strike nerfed? Why was dancing dagger nerfed? Why was cluster bomb nerfed? Oh well might solve people using thieves in hotjoin… now we may see loads more killshot warriors and mesmers… fun fun fun
Yup. Personally I’m tired of being the underdog and still told my class is OP, I dealt with that for years in other MMO’s. I’ve never been one to reroll because of a patch note but to hell with it, I’m not going through this crap again.
Meh, this & the ascended crap really just makes me want to take a huge break from GW2. Not going in the direction I imagined at all. Maybe I’ll finally buy MoP :/ at least I KNOW what Blizz is going to pull.

I honestly lol’d at the 50% and 33% damage reduction, then I cried, then threw up a little. This is going to hurt non glass cannons soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad. Definitely had a feeling they would go all Blizzard on thieves but didn’t think they would really go through with it.
I mean, balanced isn’t even an option anymore. Now we’ll see even MORE glass cannons and lolDBspam builds, either that or just no more thieves.
As for me, Warrior or Mesmer of course.
Way to give in to the QQ ANet, e-sports lol yeah right what a joke
More and Target don’t even create the entire word they are censoring…
