Not sure what compelled me to click on the stickied New to pvp? Start Here! thread but Josh posted a link to a good beginner’s guide website.
QQMore.net is a site with a few biginner guide videos that’s very informative and well made. I hope we get a video on the News section when you first login to the game. A video that lasts all week and a new one appearing Monday.
Love to see more items added like this. Stuff like this needs a shout out! If there was one I missed it :P
I’ve already submitted my weekly report back on Monday to cover the first few days on the job. I’ll submit another one on Monday as well to make sure all the posts on the weekend are covered.
Some things to remember:
1) The information I submit is for ANET to review, what they do with that information is up to them. My opinion or recommendation has no more weight than a person who just joined the game. I do not have any special tools or abilities just an email address to relay the information too.
2) Please do not post in this manner, if you feel a thread is being neglected, you can message me on the forums or in game. Everything needs to follow the forum rules and procedures.
3) Please do not do call out threads
Thank you and happy new year!
Oh hey its a forum Specialists o_o
I’m sure you’re going to get a lot of fan suggestions regarding what “needs” to be implemented. Sheesh you got your work cut out for you :P
OP is completely off.
It isn’t Esports because we don’t have 2v2, 3v3 matchmaking, an in game ESL Tournament, a working leaderboard, game replays, videos from Anet about certain PvP aspects like Stillness, roaming strategies, etc for beginners to see..
And finally, there’s no commentators after Tournaments. I’d like to see what kind of strategies top teams used to win their games. There hasn’t been a single highlight video showing this.
This game isn’t Esports because the PvP system is a simple byproduct of their beautiful PvE world.

My MMR is fine. I have frands with very high MMR who still get matched up with these same players.
Honestly your mmr is probably either very low because you can’t “carry” your team to 300-400 points. Or you’re mmr is higher than everyone else but placed on the team for balancing.
Pretty much every build has to make this choice. Going 100% damage in every build decision will naturally allow builds that do not a way to avoid you.
Try 4 in virtues and swap out contemplation of purity.
I take it you’ve never played a meditation guardian before? Taking a shout or staff on a meditation build is a terrible idea, and so is swapping out CoP.
As for OP, I agree wholeheartedly. Guardian is getting left in the dust, both figuratively and literally, because our only truly viable build left is very easily kited through range and CC.
I take a shout with with my meditation build? :[
Amongst other things Swapping out CoP would be ideal if the classes you face in roaming weren’t so heavy condi based. You can certainly swap CoP in duels, but roaming wise CoP is a must.
Yes, you take a shout with your meditations. Shouts builds take a consecration sometimes too. Open world doesn’t have one setup to rule them all… And if there were one, it really really wouldn’t be a duelling build like meta meditations.
Have neither of you tried a virtues build? 4 in virtues gives you access to a better condition remove than CoP, better because you can use it twice. How many scenarios do you really run into where more than 3 condis need clearing half as often? You also get unscathed contender, a 20% damage buff you can pop during other actions like a nitro boost. You get 20% additional boon duration as well, so all those boons hang around a while longer. Opening a utility slot is just one option though, for sure. Most people are gonna laugh if you argue mediguard needs a buff.. Jus sayin
The thing about Unscathed Contender is that it’s based on Aegis. Your Aegis will only last a couple of seconds before it wears off. At best, you can pop F3 before you use a high damaging skill, maybe get another auto chain in. At worse, you’ll never utilize the 20% damage increase because Aegis is removed too quickly.
It’s not like they came up with this class overnight. Anet’s made 8 very balanced classes, I’m sure they can fit a class like the Revenant in the pool.
Obviously fact. The thing is, will people know they’re not getting their dailies completed in Ranked?
Still, all the more reason why we need restrictions of some type for rank que
Nothing grinds my teeth more than seeing two thieves in a 4v4 fight in mid… when there’s clearly no one on either home or far. A Guardian is forced to roam and do their job…
Others:
“Skip beast!”: They go beast, it gets stolen. We lose mid.
“Go Home!”: (guy rez’s) No there’s 3 there nub! Goes mid. Enters a 2v4. Dies.
/Facepalm
Actually according to John, it was never their intentions to separate Solo and Team Que to begin with. He believes now, with the necessary algorithms in place, we could combine the two ques.
That has yet to be the case. It’s been quite hectic for solo players since the merger.
you can obviously get swiftness but not on a dps mediation guardian. You try running shouts dps against any good player. As soon as they realize you dont have JI to make a big gap closer they fall back and dps from range. Now, by all means if you have a guardian build in mind that can provide swiftness, on demand gap closers and high dps for solo roaming then please link and make my day because I’d love to stay guardian.
I haven’t made a WvW guide, was going to make one in the Reserved slot but haven’t gotten to it.

I have a friend that still uses the build in Post #1 for WvW (and pvp) I believe she uses Koi cakes and Tuning crystals as food. Not sure if other roaming guards can solo camps but if you grab everyone in one group, you can kill them all very efficiently through burns, weapon switching, and rune of krait applications.

Any cele build comp team heavily outplays Medi zerkers.
If you’re looking for strict 1v1 build you might as well go condi hybrid. If you’re looking to be a good team support, have sustains, while still do decently in 1v1, go 00464 carrion in my sig.
I’m not saying medi zerks are bad, they just get out sustained by cele classes.
View the links in my sig if you want to see how a condi Guard is played. Post #1 of the guide is very strict in your map rotations, and can be difficult to use. Post #2 of the build focus’s on team support and higher sustains, while still offering great damage.
View my videos on how to play the build in tpvp. You’ll get an idea of its performances compared to other classes.
Skyhammer
Suicide Taunters
Condi Guardian and Spirit Weapon Guardian are literally two of the worst builds in the game.
Definitely not condi guardians.
Resistance Boon
“Conditions currently on you have no effect; stacks duration.”
Currently, we have skills that provide a similar effect, such as the warrior’s Berserker Stance (condition immunity with no counterplay). When placed on a character, this boon will temporarily relieve them of all the negative effects that conditions have on the character. For example, if a character is running in fear with the fear condition, they’ll stop running in fear when resistance is placed on them. When resistance ends, they’ll resume running in fear. Having this type of effect on a boon makes it so the boon can be removed by other players, adding in more counterplay.
Is this added in the tooltip “Berserker Stance”, as well as other “invulnerable” skills like Guardian’s Elite Focus. Or is it a completely new boon mechanic they decided to give out randomly?
As for the last quoted paragraph, are they forcing us to use Boon Stripping in our builds now? Of which mesmers are best at doing? If they expect us to counter this by changing our meta trait line, we’re going to have issues.
They’re seriously going to have to revamp our boon stripping if they expect that… for example, the Guardian’s Searing Flames: Removes 1 condition every 10s. Procs on burning.
I have to worry about whether or not this bad trait will actually strip 25 stacks of Might, or ignore it. Now they added another boon to make that even more difficult.
tl;dr
If they add the boon to skills like Berserker Stance or “invulnerable” type skills, it isn’t a big issue. If they pass out Resistance Boon like candy to provoke us into traiting boon stripping, they’d have to better our boon strip traits and mechanics. I shouldnt have to worry if Searing Flames will remove 23 stacks of Might, or Resistance Boon, or some crappy 3s Swiftness…
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
Nope, as you can see in the screenshot it was ONLY guardian weapons damaging me.
You obviously took every hit in the face… definitely a L2P issue because Ele’s shouldn’t take full hits from spirit weapons. Ele’s can kite well with their peels, spirits alone should have only gotten 10 hits on you, if that, before they go bye-bye.
Your mistakes here are quite apparent. Stohp being a punching bad for Guardian’s spirit weapons.
^ exactly that. Same goes for Rangers + Staff and Necros + Greatsword.
The bow can still reside the “identity of the guardian”. It’s not like the bow will be like a ranger’s Rapid Fire… it’s going to play exactly how a Guardian would use a bow if he picked it up from the ground.
Ok disregard Ele’s Ice Bow… perhaps that was a bad analogy :P
Probably because koreans take that picture as porn, while us Americans see that kind of stuff every Saturday morning on Nickelodeon.
We’re are now labeled OP!? Finally after two years us condition guardians get some recognition.
WE’RE COMING OUT!!!
#condiguardhype
#I’mpumpedaboutthis
Oh, and the chances of an Ele beating a good Condi Guard 1v1 is slim to non. You might as well be fighting a Condi Engi, Condi Ranger, or other >insert 1v1 class here< build.
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
I saw a ranger die 2 times at far, he switches, dies on necro, switches to warrior, dies on warrior…
He probably spend 10 seconds away from game at every switch. Unless it’s like.. instant.. i don’t see what the problem is o_o

Can’t handle the 1v1 spec!? View post #2 and have your team carry you!
Absolutely not! And i’m strictly a burn guardian… that should say something.
That might be true if Permeating Wrath and Supreme Justice actually put out.
Those traits should be part of the meta burn builds.. the thing is.. we hardly have a meta burn build.
If there’s anything that makes the class “feel like a guardian”, it’ll be Aegis; Blocks, blinds and Team Support abilities. All that, cradled with the lack of mobility, is the Guardian’s playstyle.
If two ppl cast burning on the same target, priority is given to the higher condition dmg and the duration stacks. Basically it goes like this:
Player A casts burning for 5 seconds.
Player B casts burning for 3 seconds. If player B has higher condition dmg, the result would be as follows:
Player B’s burning ticks first for 3 seconds, then Player A’s burning ticks for 5 seconds. At no point in time will your burning be overwritten. It will just be shuffled around in the load order, with the highest dmg burning ticking before the other ones.
Now, this could be good or bad. Good in that the highest burn damage will tick first. Bad in that the rest of the duration, there afterwords, can easily get cleansed off. Therefore, it’s not ideal for two burn classes to both apply 5 second burns on the same target. The large burn duration will simply get cleansed.
At least one of the classes will lose dps.
Catch #2
Burn Condition has a max stack of 9. If your team applies 9 stacks worth of Burns, your burns will not be applied until one of those burn duration stack resolves. It doesn’t matter if your burn damage is higher. Once 9 stacks is reached, no other burns can be applied.
An occurrence like this is extremely rare, but not uncommon for a full condition team with any amount of burn duration
However… it could happen every time, if a burn guardian runs with Permeating Wrath; especially with Supreme Justice, he can easily reach 9 AOE burn stacks… from just Whirling Wrath…
/foodforthought
It’s a good thing the game isn’t balanced around each class just bringing one thing where they excel. Seems to me what we have is exactly the meaning of balance; bringing many tools to the table that are useful.
Moot point, because classes like warrior, engineer, and elementalist do exactly that, bring many tools to the table that are useful. And they do it better than guardian, while also being able to deal decent damage at the same time.
You are implying that these tools a guardian have are not useful and, and I’m inclined to disagree. Guardian does bring unique tools to the table and does have good damage. No other class can bring the amount of party-wide projectile defense, blocks, condi clear, and stability while doing very respectable damage, like a guardian can.
Agreed. Just because a self sustaining team won the World Tournament against reigning champions, doesn’t mean the class has been completely replaced. The Guardian class is still very much a contender. Previous teams with Bunk Guardians winning tournaments, or knocking other contending teams out, means the Guardian class is still very wanting..
The preference at the moment are teams with full self-sustaining builds.
It’s just that though, “preference”.
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
I wouldn’t mind having a requirement for entering rank, if they also implemented a true solo queue with no premade-stomps in the nonranked matches.
If solo was separated and had its own leaderboards again, we wouldn’t need a requirement in ranked que as much as we do now. Mainly due to the fact we have one leaderboard that everyone wants to be on… cause it’s a leaderboard.
I don’t remember this many QQs about matchmaking and premades on the old system, but then again I rarely viewed the forums back then.
Regardless, if I was Anet I wouldn’t revert back, but continue to move forward. Add requirements for Ranked, brackets, etc. Do what needs to be done to better the current system.
#optimistic
The most simple solution to this is queue with other players. And judging by the amount of games you’ve put in, it’s not like you don’t have the time. We all know, as you do, that leaderboards is just a grind so there was really no reason to link all that as it is irrelevant to this topic. There should never be restrictions to play ranked arenas. Instead what this shows is either you have a lower mmr than you think, or there just isn’t enough people around your mmr to queue with. In the case of the latter, placing restrictions on entering ranked queue will solve none of that.
It’s a double edged sword.
If he ques with his team only, he will no longer be #1 on the leaderboards due to lack of games. His mmr will improve however.
If he continues to play solo que to get games in, he will continue to be #1 as well as have low mmr.
OP, set a macro for your f1-f3 skills to pop when you use your elite. Most game mouses has a key binding program build in, “Autohotkey” can work as if you had bought a $70 gaming mouse.
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
What are you even saying? The skill gap is incredibly high…
Not only do people have to be good at their build, but they have to learn other peoples build so they don’t get outplayed. To top it off, and probably the biggest factor, is learning proper map rotations. I didn’t learn proper map rotations till I hit pvp rank 30!
Not to mention the miscellaneous items like stillness, treb, lord, all those are specific in game strategies….
I noticed you posted in the thread below, but you should actually read it.

Definitely connection related. I was in a game where my connection wasn’t all too great (satellite internet). When I got downed they were probably 900 yards away (not exaggerating, they were incredibly far). Saw the poor chaps stomp and cleave like there was no tomorrow. I don’t remember it ever happening again so it must be a rare occurrence.
Guys you have to actually read the post the guy made before making claims about the stances aha
clearly the 5th skill on longbow is the way you switch between stances, its obvious that you’ll only be able to switch between stances while in longbow and it will only have an effect on the skills available to you in longbowIt would be awesome if it was anything like that. That would be a change of pace for the guardian. I’m curious what the CD would be on switching stances. Probably 30s? Guardians aren’t fast paced fighters like Ele’s Attunement switching or Engi kits.
I suspect it will be either 1s or 5s (half the weapon swap cd). It seems like they want you to switch between the skills often otherwise there would be no real point in there being a 5 skill that changes stances, youw ould just make the skills scale with healing power and power so that your build will just make them more dps/support.
Yea that makes sense o_o
It better sync well with F1 or burns just saying!
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
I think people misread OP’s notion. He’s saying he’s #1 NA based on the Leaderboards. He’s not saying he’s top player in the world. We’re all quite aware that
participating in the seasonal ladder most
will grant you the highest spot on the leaderboards.
From the bottom of his heart, if he actually thinks he’s number 1 player in the NA world, out of skill or what ever reason, let’s save that debate for another thread.
As for the threads main point, I agree with OP completely.
1
Leaderboard rank doesn’t match your personal mmr
2
Does MMR truly matches skill level?
I don’t mind getting matched up with crappy players.. rather… I don’t expect getting matched up with “high experienced players” all the time. That’s due to a population issue.
The issue I have is my MMR not matching up with my rank or vice versa.
Guys you have to actually read the post the guy made before making claims about the stances aha

I like the build falselights. I would still try and push you towards 0-0-2-6-6 or and maybe drop med mastery and just put in block/burn into the first slot. If you don’t like permeating wrath maybe just put in stability or other options like a UC and supreme justice combo. One of the major reasons is +dam modifier power of the virtuous adds to much damage if used well.
I’d hate to retrait just for a 7% (sometimes more, sometimes less) increase in raw damage output. It wouldn’t be a bad idea if I had more % increase in damage because they are added multiplicative. Without high crit, not sure if it’s worth it at all.
The added support in Virtues trait line would be helpful, but i’m not necessarily needing more stability uptime. I’d definitely go for Supreme Justice but i’d have to sacrifice Elite’s reduced cd or burns on block. Both of which I really want :P
Added video for post #2 to show an idea of the build’s performances.
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
Honestly, I think that it’d hardly be overboard to have self-cleanse on torch 4, provided that maybe it didn’t tick as often. Most builds that incorporate torch don’t really invest much into the defensive traits that are required to have consistent condi cleansing, and guardian already suffers from having the lowest base HP pool.
It would definitely be overboard. We sacrifice low hp pool by negating damage with shelter, elite, blinds, blocks, and a world of stability and cleansing utilities
We all know how well Contemplation of Purity works. It’s essentially a weaker form of CoP when cast, except its on a 15s cd. People using torch’s #5 don’t usually look at their ally’s conditions like they should. It can remove conditions immediately, without you realizing it.
I have a video of me using Cleansing Flame during a Warrior’s Combustive Shot. The aoe burns doesn’t show up on the three party members that should have been infected. I of course took about 4 seconds worth of burns while casting. That’s pretty balanced to me :P
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
The overall turreteer spec is balanced because they’re not viable in higher tier teams. Don’t fix something that isnt broken; don’t nerf something that isn’t op.
As Lux pointed out earlier, a team with 2 turret engies:
“beat out one other team (2-1 vs AG) and their first round was vs Abjured… so they didn’t have much of a chance vs abjured anyway.
0-2 vs abjured
2-1 vs AG
1-2 vs Radioactive”A team with 2 turret engies won a match in the NA WTS 2-1, and took a game off of Radioactive. I am not trying to worship AG and Radioactive, but these teams most certainly have high-level players. To say that turrets is unviable in high-level play goes against empirical evidence to the contrary. It may not be winning major tourneys, but it is competing darn well. All the while, it requires barely half a brain to play. That just doesn’t seem right to me.
You’re right these events happen way too often and shouldn’t happen at all, no matter what kind of skill level these players have, the two Engi’s obviously carried their whole team. Raise the skill level. How about a click combination lock in order to place turrets?
How many double professions partake in these tournaments? Engi’s are strong by default, followed by Eles and Warriors. Two turreteer Engi’s are finally contenders in tournaments? I’m surprised more people aren’t succeeding with them.
sarcasm
Why bother viability when that’s completely apart from the point. The point of the conversation -should- be “this is a build that shouldn’t be in the game because it advocates being afk, also is the most boring and awful thing to play against.”
Of course it is strong, but of course it is beatable. But really nobody cares, or at least you shouldn’t. Nobody likes to play against it and that’s all that matters.
^ I agree wholeheartedly.
When I first started this game I absolutely despised fighting Mesmers. Thought that class was completely broken. I got better. Still don’t like the class.
Build diversity; “playing what you want because everything is balanced” type logic.
This mentality carries on through stronghold: “Come in as you are because there’s a role for you”. Thats Anet’s philosophy. The Meta has proved otherwise in Conquest, the same will happen with Stronghold.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing, this game is still one of the better balanced games around. The thing is skill levels, it isn’t separated as well as I’d like to see. Matchmaking draws pools from the same hat… instead of separating players into several different hats that represents their bracket or skill levels.
Just my opinion.
second page glitch
Any professional response to my complain?
Stop being bad and you’ll realize that turret engi isn’t that good.
What Phd (OP) is saying is that turrets have an insanely high payoff-to-effort ratio and actually work in an unorganised PvP. When I play Ranked Arena solo and encounter turret engies, I get insanely mad, because there are a limited number of good players who will adjust and outplay a turreteer through rotations.
Usually you don’t land with only such players on your team and get some PvE heroes that will just get screwed sooner or later and then just rush back over and over again leading to an ultimate wreck.Point is, in unorganised play the turret engie is extremely likely to contribute a lot with very little effort. The build allows players who use it, to bring their contribution to levels that is unattainable by them with ‘normal’ builds (much like power LB pew-pew ranger) and this is the problem here.
When I play as a premade team, I don’t care in the least if there are turret engies on the other team; they will get rekt. But when I see these baddies winning over other baddies just because of the build, I understand these complaints.
Should Anet just make these classes harder to use? If you nerf turreteer engi because the class is “too easy to use”… well idk.. A nerf like that has never happened in MMO history. You might as well nerf power rangers because standing in place pressing two buttons is too easy too.
The overall turreteer spec is balanced because they’re not viable in higher tier teams. Don’t fix something that isnt broken; don’t nerf something that isn’t op.
How much tank is just right or too much? I’ve seen Guards take on 1v2 or even 1v3, bunking a point. Which is ideal for any tank, to hold multiple people for days while his team captures the map.
In zerg scenarios, no one is going to focus a tank unless they’re moa’d. Most of the sustains from vita/heals/toughness/ might not be as ideal.
Where the line should be drawn is up to you.
My synopsis.
It’s not going to be offensive. Well, not more offensive than our other main hand weapons. It’ll be more of a utility weapon with a range of 900, with one skill being 1200.
It’ll play like a staff+GS but faster than both. Not as much damage as GS. Not as much supportive as Staff. It’ll be a middle point between the two. It’ll likely have 1 pull skill and 1 fire skill.
After thinking about it… I think I’d prefer a rapid fire duel pistols… or a slow shot, huge damage 1200 ranged rifle gun that could support allies with bullets.
Or the bow having that effect… idk I just want something a little more crazy and outside the box.
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
now that you mention it the only person that posted a informative roaming video was that necromancer guy who makes guides about necromancers -
- I guess theres nothing wrong with people showing them selfs off in youtube videos..
Id just like there to be more videos of people explaining their build, showing gameplay of it and explaining the strengths and weaknesses of the build when he stomps or gets stomped.
I made a roaming guide on the guardian forums, strictly tpvp/spvp, not wvw. It’s build specific and I don’t have a commentary video at all… but hey, it’s a guide thread. Does that count :O
Op, somebody dying over and over and failing doesn’t teach anyone. But there are videos of people doing well in spvp/tpvp while also showing themselves getting stomped out. Otherwise, most vids are about them boasting and “doing good” :p
I don’t think TDM should be split from que… if there isn’t at least 3-4 other maps for it. People simply won’t cater to the (probable) higher que times, the same map over and over, etc. The population for this one single map simply isn’t there, for it to deserve it’s own que.
It’s indeed a refreshing change of pace from the same 50 straight conquest games; more people like it than hate it. On that note, more people probably rather play Courtyard than Skyhammer, but I’m no Dev, I don’t have the vote numbers.
Stronghold – being a completely different gamemode entirely – having different mechanics – deserves it’s own gamemode. The population is going to be there; people are demanding to play it.
It’s not just some new map you can simply combine with Conquest’s que. It isn’t like Courtyard.
Maybe (and that’s a big maybe) could you set it up as majority vote to play Conquest or Stronghold. In like… 4 months down the road.. where the hype dies down and people aren’t ragequitting (as much).
My 2 copper.
I find it silly that people wont play it because they wanted 3 more people on their team. Where’s the competition in that? If you like hordes of players in a zerg fiesta, stick with wvw. It’ll still be there.
Why not post in the ranger forum? They’ll prob be more helpful.

Changed Post #2’s build to have Absolute Resolution + Pure of Heart. Changed “Save Yourselves” for “Retreat”. Thanks irish.3578!
Build: http://tinyurl.com/k5l87l4
Conclusion:
Played numerous games this evening, against rough cele built teams, full zerk teams, even a 4 engi 1 mesmer comp team that made me want to punch a baby..
Even so, the build performed extremely well. Better than Post #1 of the thread, even though i’m completely bias of that particular build cause it’s the original :P
I would compare the Shout-Condi-Hybrid variant with any top tier ESL Guardian build. It has huge amounts of team support, sustains, and large single target, multi target, condi damage. The shouts alone, particularly Stability, is a huge game changer. All bunk Guardians would know how particularly good SYG performs in a heated skirmish fight. Especially coupled with Pure of Voice.
Zerkers can’t sustain as well as this build type variant. Celestials can’t do nearly as much damage. What would top this build (i would think) is other Bunker builds. For the role the build itself plays, I’m not sure what other dps+support build there is that could top it.
I’m really curious if there was a better condi build type, or raw damage GS build type available.
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
A couple more things…
falselights, you might as well try the virtue bunker setup of 0-0-2-6-6 or at least compare it to yours for your group idea. You would need to tweak it a bit than you also have some new interesting options.
Mystic, I was playing around with the idea of doubling burning and I think your build is 75%. In order to get it to 2 seconds where I think it would be worth Balthazar and the block burn combo, you would need to probably do a 3-4-6-1-0 build. With the torch trait and than need to use smoldering sigils. Than you can only cover it with 1 sigil. It is still an interesting idea. The 1 could be moved into last trait line. I’m assuming your idea was to get a 2 second burn on hit and block.
I’ve tried several bunker builds. Bunk Guardians can get taken out by a burn guardian like myself, or some other high condi 1v1 spec. Granted, the team oriented spec doesn’t do as well when it comes to killing bunkers 1v1, it’s a good spec in that it performs like a Cele Guardian build should have. Cele Eles, Wars, Engi’s, they can all 1v1 very well, as well as offering great team support. It’s why I like the spec. It offers just enough team support while also able to 1v1/skirmish well. (Performs about as good as a cele d/d ele in that area)
If I go 00266 I would lose more sustain while gaining more team support. I’d lose the majority of my skirmish fights by not sustaining as well. I would be more heavily dependant on my team. It’s why, if you’re going 00266 you might as well be full clerics or celestials, to make up for the lack of sustain. That’s my take on it anyways :P
Edited:
I did try a Cleric permeating wrath build once… it surprisingly took out a couple builds 1v1 but felt lack luster to me. It was heavily inconsistent and felt it wasn’t worth pursuing
(edited by Saiyan.1704)
It’s an evolutionary fact that women love Guardians more.
omg wth gw2 is such a copycat game
even name and arena type is similar.
Plz change the game type and name thxx
Yes! Please change the name and skills of Warriors, Rangers and Thieves too! Those classes are such copycats from the very first pixilated Dungeon games.
/sarcasm…
They still haven’ t balanced ranger after 2 years and half.
So my answer is no.
By balanced you mean make them viable?
Are Guardians the only balanced class in this game? The only class I think is remotely op are engi’s. Specifically certain cele hoelbrak builds.
R.i.p scepter/focus. Then again, 3 blocks and Ray of Judgement is still hard to give up..
