No lag here, all normal.
Whats better than let you get a taste of the expansion and then make you buy it for the higher price even if you were trying to avoid it at first.
The scam could run deeper than we expect. Could very well be Anet leaking those keys on purpose.
Just no, really ? no not going to happen !
Or at least I did, however I think they are really well done in Guildwars.
The Gliding is pretty cool actually.
Not really used the magic mushrooms much yet.
Anyway good work ArenaNet.
As above ^^^^^^^^
Updated, seem’s to have sorted itself out after several attempts.
Latest patch just stops and doe’s nothing, any idea’s ?
If I close the GW2 window the game won’t restart until I’ve rebooted or I get the second image.

Did you get an HOT code and add it to your account ?
You’re not.
Direct from the Q&A stream, colin stated anet considers a guild as a group of 5+ players, and less than that “not even a group really”
I’m disappointed with that statement from Colin, I also have a small guild, it’s still called a “guild”.
Kinda stinks.
Well I’m kinda glad I’m not an altologist, I only have one character, any others are just storage.

Buy the game, get the e-mail confirmation, send them the registration code and they’ll be able to make an account, register the game, and play.
Copied from another thread. (Thanks to Mega).
As far as I know it’s not region specific.

Ah that’s different, when I first looked it was 12 hours, now it’s 22 which is about 07:30 hours for me, that’s better.
“At time of loading, accuracy was within 0.315 seconds” just have to laugh !
Welcome Solid Gold and Thunder!
Gold, hope you find some like minded players to connect with in this thread. I certainly understand not wanting guild pressures, which is exactly why the original O:U thread started.
Thunder, I’ve sent you an invite to the Legion guild. Feel free to join in the guild chat the next time you are online and see who’s around.
Thanks for that Helequin.2608,
Yeah anybody want’s to be in a guild and still do their own thing send me a shout.

No but it would be nice if there was one, like Fallout 4.
This looks kind of interesting, and GW2 was listed on the games menu.
Streaming from a PC isn’t the same as it being played directly on a console though.
Yes it’s streaming, like the Steam Link that’s due to be released soon.
I did buy a Nvidia shield, sent it back it felt cheap and tacky.
I only plan to use this function if it will work with my microsoft xbox 360 controller. Can someone from anet confirm if there will be compatibility? Seems kinda pointless to implement this feature if not.
As above.
Just crashes back to desktop, no error message ?
Operating system ?

Thought the OP’s way looked a bit complicated.
I’m sticking to 7pro until Microsoft pries it out of my hands. I upgraded to 10 and reverted back in 15 minutes.
One person isn’t a guild.
actually it is. The guild is named and created, it just has one member, no matter how you turn or twist it, it is still called a guild within the realms of Tyria.
No, one person isn’t a guild. One person as the ability to make a guild but according to the actual definition of the world guld, even lore wise, one person is not a guild. A guild is an organization. You can’t organize 1.
That’s why 1 person does an event and gets 2 influence, but 2 from the same guild get 20.
Anet was nice enough to allow solo players to make bank guilds, but it’s really just a tolerated abuse of the system.
I have a one person Guild (Solo).
“but it’s really just a tolerated abuse of the system.” I don’t see it as that.
I have been playing guild wars since the first game came off the line. The one thing I always love about the game was the ability to play solo. The problem I have with what anet has been doing lately is that they seem to have forgotten that some people do not have any interest in dungeons or raids or pvp. that’s seems to be all they are concentrating on in heart of thorns. I mean us solo players paid the same price for our game and we don’t seem to be getting the same game experience for our money. If I’m wrong please anet tell me where I’m wrong.
Yup I play solo as well, have done from the start.
I also feel we, as solo players will be excluded from some of the new content.
There are of course the typical " tough you play solo, it’s a multiplayer game, make friends" yada yada yada.
Maybe I should start a “solo” players guild.
But if you start a ‘solo’ players guild it wouldn’t be very solo anymore lol unless ofc your guild doesn’t do anything besides act as a name rosterXD
Well I started a (Solo) Guild, I seem to be the only member just now, but hey ho early day’s yet. (There’s no pressure to do guild stuff or even talk to each other).
Anyway the reason I play mainly solo…………
I have mainly played multiplayer games (I could make a long list, mainly MMO’s, and FPS games) since the start of dial up (For those of you that remember that), I like having players around that are not just NPC’S, real players are unpredictable there’s no telling what they might do.
Playing solo doesn’t mean I haven’t got any friends, or that I don’t sometimes create a party, join a party or ask for help with something.
I have been in a couple of guilds (I get plenty of invites), but they turned out to be pretty meh ! So I just ignore them now.
Yeah of course I like (Some) single player games, Fallout 3 I bought when it first came out, just started playing it to get hyped up for Fallout 4, or things like Skyrim and the like.
Single player games are OK, for a couple of hours at a time, then it’s back to GW2 at the moment.
Whatever you choose to do, and the way you choose to play, just have fun.
Look out for my Guild tag (Solo).

I used to do the old dailies/monthly’s, I just can’t be bothered anymore.
Seems too much to do.
“Rob and Bob”
Because I got fed up with typing longer names in, I would have one letter names if I could, like A and B.

“Raids excludes players, and it’s ok.”………………
Actually, no I don’t think it’s OK.
It also tells some players that they can’t play the endgame, so they should find another game to play.
My friend. That’s like someone saying “college is too hard, I’ll go work in a fastfood joint instead”. IF someone invests time in themselves, THEN it pays off. Anet can’t change a player’s mindset. The drive comes from within.
So basically this game should be a treated as a job to be able to play?
Yeah and I thought games should be fun, I have played since GW1 and beta GW2, never been in a guild.
I do feel many people such as myself will be excluded from some of this content.
Might be time to “jog on”.
Account bound is bound to all characters on an account.
Souls bound is bound to just one character.
And yes a ton of stuff is account bound now which fills your bank and inventory up, which is really annoying because it can’t be sold.
Sometimes the only way to get rid od it is to trash it.
I have fun doing events in SW but I also have a lot of fun blasting around in a chest farm group.
I don’t think ArenaNet will say “Wait they’re having fun and making that gold stuff, let’s nerf it”.
I think you need a balance of stuff to do, for everybody, let’s face it games are supposed to be fun and enjoyable “innit” !
All this talk of nerf this and nerf that, what’s wrong with people.
As above, no problems ever.
Same here……….
Forums dead slow as well.
I’m on the fence about it.
Part of my really likes the idea of the Druid, using nature to heal your allies and empower everyone, kind of reminds me of sage chakra from Naruto. It is cool and theres no denying it’s uses.
But it’s not how I play Ranger, and it’s not why I rolled a Ranger.
A ranger is supposed to be a man of the wild, using speed, ingenuity and skill with multiple weapons to be able to deal with any problem faced. Someone who hides in the forest and strikes at the best times and can destroy enemy resource lines before they’ve even noticed. Thats kind of what the Ranger is at the minute, but Druid is a definite change of focus from that, which is why I think the Druid should be it’s own class completely, seperate from the Ranger.
TBH, if you had just dealt with our pets, made us perfectly accepted in all game types (like a guardian is for example or a warrior) I would have been happy without an elite spec. Now that you’ve done this, and brought it out as an Elite thing, I feel like I’m forced to play Druid. I didn’t sign up for healing.
My thoughts to a “t”, I didn’t sign up to play a healer, and I feel we will be pressured into it, go healer or gtfo !
^ THEN DON’T TAKE THE DRUID TRAITLINE AND DON’T BE A BLOODY HEALER.
Jesus Christ what is so difficult to grasp?
Your argument amounts to “Druid didn’t take the direction I wanted it to boohoo”.
The rest of us are happy with it, you’ll just have to wait for the next Espec or – a wild idea – continue playing Ranger as you have been doing these last 3 years.
Like I said, Rangers are likely to be pressured into going healer.
And there’s really no need to be so aggressive, just saying how “I” feel about it.
And like I said, if you don’t want to play healer, don’t play it.
The only potential “pressure” from others would come from the Raid content: you’re forgetting the game modes that are far more significant than Raids: WvW, PvP and open world PvE, in all of which there is nobody to kick you for not being a healer.
Also, you’ve played Ranger for this long while we’ve always had kick-threats, what’s changed? We actually have an option now to be useful in a different way. And that’s all it is – an option. If you don’t want to be a healer then roll a zerker frost spotter Ranger.
You’re whining about how you feel about it. Constantly.
If you want it to change how about offering constructive feedback and suggestions as to what you want to see, instead of boo-hooing like a child who hasn’t got what he wanted.
Still aggressive I see.
By “aggressive” you mean I’m putting forward decent arguments that you can’t counter, so you instead to to discredit my credibility by calling me “aggressive” and offering no rebuke of your own.
I don’t need to rebuke you, your the one attacking me with things like “boo-hooing” and “whining”.
I have my opinions and you have yours, I don’t expect to be lambasted just because I dare to state my opinions.
You also said quote
“2. I speak on behalf of the majority voice of the Ranger forum community. As such, the majority voice as you will see from all Druid threads on here is in favour of the Druid.” Unquote.
When did you get to speak for the majority of the Ranger forum community ?
Where are you getting this majority in favour of druid information from.

“So rangers, How do you all feel now?”
Disappointed…………………
No one made a Ranger to be a healer. NO ONE. No one invested hours or days of their life into building up a ranger so that it can be a healer. This is just a fact. No one did. It was not even an option. And we were okay with that.
Just this, I play a Ranger, have only ever played a Ranger, I don’t want to be a healer of any sort, I don’t want to be pressured by people in the game to go “healer”.
I don’t like it and I don’t want it.
Somebody said in a post some time ago, they saved the best elite (Ranger) to last, wrong they saved the worst for last.
(There’s a lot of “don’t” in there).
I’m willing to see how it goes, but it could also be time to move on.

“What do you think will be expected of a ranger in a raid environment now? Druid or gtfo ! "
Great just what Rangers need, going to be even more hated.
I hate it, I don’t want to be a HEALER………
Ranger GW1, Ranger since and including beta GW2, now they come up with this rubbish.
Think yourself luck, I think gold buyers should be banned forever for a first offence.
I actually have no idea what’s supposed to be happening, or where I should be, keep chasing after events for them to be gone, over or moved.
“Druid better be something special” Don’t hold your breath………
I don’t like it, it’s ugly.
