It doesn’t add anything for me, being a Ranger and at maximum long bow range, it’s a long way to get there to “finish” a mob.

Pointless……………

From Rally WP to the Temple is pretty inconsistent, sometime the moral of the pact can just suddenly vanish very close to the starting area, without any clue why, sometimes it can disappear to about 25% and stay that way until the temple.

The whole thing is pretty uncontrollable.

Different people have different idea’s, and it’s difficult to get 20 or whatever random players to co-ordinate.

Healing the pact, does it work, don’t think so.

Take out Subjugators and vets asap, probably helps.

Stay close to the pact, but not too close, draw mobs away from the pact, that helps.

Keep up with the pact, if they go ahead while you mess with mobs left behind then your probably going to fail.

Get two pacts to go together, might help but difficult to co-ordinate, and I’ve seen two pacts fail just as quickly as one.

I’ve done Balthazar a lot, probably a couple of hundred time’s, and it’s the most unpredictable DE in the game, as far as I know.

I stopped caring a while ago, just log in to do my daily.

Do a bit of the new stuff, don’t really care what’s going on, if I get achievements fine, if not, meh.

I’m sure there’s a storyline or some lore in there somewhere, but I just run with the pack.

Have to agree £25.50 for 3 gathering tools for ONE character is very excessive, if they were cheaper (And soul bound) they would sell more

The game is only £26.94 to buy from Play.

Items like this should be account bound, not soul bound.

Rangers were not welcome in dungeon parties in the early day’s, so I didn’t bother with them.

And I haven’t bothered since then.

So the only dungeons I have done were for the story line.

I always play a Ranger in every game I’ve played, and only a Ranger.

6 years or so on GW1 with only one character, my Ranger, from beta testing to date on my GW2 Ranger.

But, this Ranger has me beat…………..

So, I’m going to level up a Warrior, I don’t want to, I’m not looking forward to it, but I’ve convinced myself to do it.

I’m not deleting my Ranger, I’m just hoping one day Anet sort the thing out, but we’ve had promises, then nerfs, then more promises and more nerfs, the pet is a disaster and I don’t think it will ever be any good of.

Something that’s NOT instanced, open world content.

If they add more and more instanced stuff it just makes the game like GW1, and then you just get speed runs, farming and elitism.

Maybe could be done solo, or in a group, something that scales.

Same here, I’m with you, I was hoping it wasn’t instanced………

I remember when people were actually doing dynamic events, now it’s difficult to find anybody to do them.

They don’t seem to want to comment on this “error”.

If it is for bot prevention, why would they make it look like a bug or bad programming ?

It is VERY annoying when you have 150 or so items to sell.

I gave up clicking “OK” after selling something as it doesn’t do anything (There’s not a choice like “OK” or “Cancel”), I don’t even understand why the OK is there, it’s just an extra thing to click, so I don’t bother and just move on to the next item, it doesn’t make any difference whatsoever to the “Error attempting to sell”.

And after you sell the first maybe 8 if your lucky items, then you get the error every 2 or 3 items, it drives me mad.

Bump. I’m not colorblind and some of the stuff in game is STILL hard to see, especially the faint-white outlines and the dull-red ones.

I’m not colourblind either, but find, in particular, ground targeting hard to see when there’s a few inches of water, it’s just impossible to see where you are targeting.

So I think there should be some options that would help colourblind people and maybe some of the rest of us as well.

Gw2 is very “pedestrian” even when running, and the in “combat” slow down is very annoying.

I understand that half of the people want to remove the pets because they get in the way or w/e… however either way I think that without the pets, rangers really lose a lot of their uniqueness. I’d rather see them somehow improve pet functionality or control.

And also: 30-40%?… if they did that, who would EVER want to use pets EVER again? there’d be no point. and dont say “that’s my point.” They arent going to remove pets, ever, so we might as well support some sort of revamp or improvement. Dont you agree?

No I don’t agree, because I don’t think they will ever get the pet fixed, and the Ranger will always be shunned for parties and instanced content.

I prefer Nightinggales idea, it would make the Ranger a much more viable class, and welcomed in party events.

Its a Ranger not a Beastmaster..

Longbow, no pet? You can do this as a Warrior with rifle or longbow.

But it’s not a Ranger is it, it’s still a warrior,, and you can’t use a short bow (Heaven knows why not).

Thief can use a short bow, but not a longbow (Again heaven knows why not) but it’s still a thief not a Ranger.

Just rotten luck, some people get it all, some get nothing.

I don’t like dungeons and instances that require parties either, it just creates “elitism” and speed run rubbish.

And I noticed further up comments such as “MMO’s are social games”, I think this ones got a long way to go to become a truly “social game”.

It’s really frustrating because the suppression is sooooooo long.

I’ve been in a large guild for months.

Never ever had any contact with them.

You realize by now these decisions are set in stone right? So the class is either dead or it isn’t by now. While some changes are coming I hardly think you are going to get enough to make you really happy with them. Just a gut feeling.

Bit late here, but I also feel there’s no hope for the Ranger class, we are on our way out of the last chance saloon.

We were promised so much, only to be nerfed and nerfed again.

Nah I didn’t “intentionally” pick mobs that are always invulnerable, that was actually during an invasion last night, I get that all the time, well not “all” the time but a lot of the time.

And I don’t want to see big numbers, they make me sad.

I presume they can be transmutted, so I’d probably transmute it to a low level skin, if I ever got one.
