I hated that one, but two of us did it in the end, you just have to get the hang of whats going on.

You can have your’s nerfed, but let Rangers stay as they are now, that will bring us inline with the others.

Nah I won’t bother, it’s just a pity you can’t upgrade to the Ultimate edition, more cash for Arenanet, don’t really see the logic behind that one.

There are “Giant Eyes” in the game, amazing I’ve only played since beta !

I bought the “Standard edition”, I wish I had bought the “Ultimate edition”, now I can only upgrade to the “Deluxe edition”, oh well there you go.

I upgrade to the deluxe edition will I get two character slots.

I used to have town clothes which I like, I have no idea where they went to, something Arenanet did to them………….. Just gone.

When the wardrobe went live, anyone with Town Clothes on could no longer access them. Take the character and go talk to a Black Lion Armor merchant (each starting city should have one). They’ll take the town clothes off of you, and turn most of them into tonics, which is a nasty downgrade but at least you’ll have some access to them again.

Costume toys will be converted to toys you double click from inventory to use. A few town clothes items (Wintersday, witch, cook, and pirate) will add those outfits to your outfit selection instead of becoming tonics.

Thanks for that Palador but I did that and I didn’t see any tonics or anything, and I have no access to my town clothes whatsoever.

As the Basaltface said, just give us our town clothes back Arenanet.

We bought a copy of the core game Guild Wars 2 when we didn’t want it, (We already bought it and payed for it years ago), could it be given away or gifted to somebody else, and we keep the HoT expansion, I’m guessing not here.

I think £35 was a lot to pay for an expansion, they COULD have softened the blow by by giving the people that have supported Anet, GW1 and 2 for many years an extra character slot for free, this would have allowed players to make a character with the new profession, now I guess they are just hoping they have a rush of people buying more character slots and make more money.

I think they shot themselves in the foot.

Giving an extra character slot wouldn’t have cost them much and would have satisfied many people complaining on this forum now.

True they are not required to do anything, but, they COULD have done a bit more for people that have played since the beta days.
People who have been faithful supporters of Guild wars 1 and 2 and Arenanet.

For the record, I have bought HoT, but I still think it’s a little on the expensive side !

I parked mine up, might come back if they ever sort the Ranger out.

But my guess is that won’t happen.

How do I feel…………… I don’t like it.

I don’t like the nerfs.
I don’t like the DR.
I don’t like that I will never get any good stuff.
I don’t like they can’t get the balance right.
I don’t like my Ranger.
I’m bored with the dailies.
I don’t like the beserker nerf.
I don’t like that the Ranger is actually useless with bows.
I don’t like the empty area’s.

Blah I could go on………….

At least it’s not a subscription game, so I do like I don’t have to cancel my suscription.

Many of the thing’s in the OP’s post are the reasons I don’t log in any more, I may be back some time in the future, but right now I’m bored with GW2.

2014 looks to be a promising year for MMO’s, so I’m going to see what develops.

Not only is it “Not Fixed”, even more annoying is they have not said anything about it, not one word.

Now that’s really annoying.

I actually like GW2 combat, but I hate the Ranger, it’s so lacklustre and just ineffectual.

Now the Neverwinter Ranger is a different matter, it hits hard, has long range, good weapons, both ranged and melee, and it feels like I’m actually doing something, not just pew pew, oh look 37 damage…………………..

Just make it so we a have to actually click on a non-threatening mob, white or yellow.

I paid for bank space, to store all the junk (And some of it I didn’t even know what it was for), all account bound rubbish, in the end I just deleted the lot of it.

They keep adding more useless junk just to fill your bank space up.

TBH I haven’t even logged in to see what the Wintersday release is like, let alone to see what they have done to my Ranger………….

Well it’s still there, whatever it is, bot stopper, bug, server lag, call it whatever.

Some sort of clue to what this is from ArenaNet would be appreciated.

Just tell us what it is and we’ll all be satisfied…………………

“Time to do some real damage” erm from a Ranger ???

Well, after logging in everyday (except for maybe a few odd days) since the beta, I haven’t logged in for over a week.

Just found the dailies boring, and trying to do stuff that other people don’t want to do boring, even the Champs in Kessex hills, nobody wants to do them anymore, and the tower, stuck at the bottom, alone, is no fun……………..

I’d be okay with most of these accidents if anybody bothered to comment as much as an “oops, we didn’t mean to” about it. Things go wrong all the time, but the silence is just insulting.

To clarify, any of these would be totally fine with me:

• “We didn’t mean for this to happen, and we’re looking at ways to fix it / compensate / future solutions / …”
• “We didn’t mean for this to happen, and we’re sorry, but won’t fix it now due to budget / being busy / …”
• “We totally meant for this to happen and hope to communicate such changes better in advance in the future”

This is not ok:

• Silence… = “lol deal with it”

This really gets to me as well…………..

There’s a number of issues posted on the forums they don’t seem to want comment on
and the “lol deal with it” is really how they seem to be dealing with it, not a good advert for customer care and relations…………..

The targeting.
The female running animation.
The TP “Error” when selling “bug ?”.

Just to mention those 3, there are more where a simple “Yeah we did it” or “We did it because” would go a long way.

Not the “Tough deal with it and people will stop posting about it” attitude.

I’m surprised no one mentioned the original GW in an earlier post; I had a blast on my Ranger in that game. So much fun, in fact, that I had 4 of them.

Yeah the GW1 Ranger I loved, only had the one Ranger for all the time I played GW1 (6 years was it ?).

The GW2 Ranger just looks like it’s never going to be any good, and I don’t play anything else, my fault I know, but that’s just me !

One of the most annoying things in the game, if your big on trading and selling it’s a game breaker. (This “bug” has been posted several times before).

Second most annoying thing in the game……… ArenaNet not commenting on the things such as this “bug”.

They just tend to ignore us and hope we just give up and go away.

I have no idea why they have (Decided ?) to do this, whatever the reason is, they ain’t saying.

Like a lot of other things (ie. TP error ? when selling, or the female walkin ? bug) they seem to not want to comment about.

Seems to be that they prefer just to ignore people until they give up posting about it.

Yeah add an Archer cos the Ranger is broken…………..

I’m getting edgy the closer we get to the 10th.

I can see nothing being fixed, things getting stealth nerfs, and maybe the GS getting borked !

Easy, I can sit back and relax, not having to crouch over a keyboard.

And no the gamepad is not the fastest way to play, but it’s fine for pve.

The stealth barrage nerf was one of the worst I have seen, used to be really good, now if I use it on 50 mobs crowded together on an invasion, I’m lucky if I hit one of them.

Who know’s maybe they don’t even know they did it, they seem to break a lot of stuff just trying to sort out other things, and then they won’t even comment on it, which is even more annoying, ie. the female running "bug

Yeah that will be by buying low and selling a bit higher on the trading post.

Profits are quite low, maybe 2%, so you need to buy and sell a lot to make 100g, you probably need 2000g or more in your bank now to do that, and it can be riskey.

I’m worried, very worried they are going to mess the GS up.

It’s a weapon I use more or less all the time, and any “fiddling” with it could mess it up big time.

And as Jon Peters hasn’t posted here for the past 17 days I would assume we have been dumped again.

I’ve had it a few times, where you get stuck in a WP and have to WP out, it’s not a common bug.

Nice OP, I also bought this game to only play as a Ranger, which I’ve done since the beta.

To quote Anet…………………

You would actually be better off hitting your foe around the head with your bow, rather than firing arrows.

I sorta gave up on trying to be a Ranger with a bow some time ago, so just go with the greatsword, which is also probably going to be messed up Dec 10th.

We seem to be seen as the lowest of the low, although the Ranger is still a popular class, people struggle on with it.

And if you dare complain, we get the old LTP, or I took out a whole WvW server solo on my Ranger, or roll a warrior thing over and over.

I don’t want to “roll” another class, I want to play a proper Ranger, and feel like it say’s in the above blurb.

Whatever they decide to do to the GS will most likely mess it up, and I use my GS all the time.

I’d like to be a Ranger but the bows are just rubbish.

I feel like a Warrior that has medium armour and just does less damage.
