I actually liked the dungeon. It was a nice change of pace and was fun. I am wondering tho why I would want to run it again?
What is the “special” reward that people are going to want to do the run again?

Unreal!!!
With the April 30th patch notes they decide to do this:
Fixed mouse-based target selection while using the “look behind” key.
But they cannot put a toggle into the options! YOU WERE WORKING ON THE SAME CODE!!!!
Neverwinter here we come…I am done..

My 680 will use its kepler boost. Try using supersampling to check. It could be your thermals but the 600 series cards run really cool.
Try to use single monitor as well(if your using a single monitor).
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
Try opening up the ports on your router that GW2 uses.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
Unless your running high rez, multiple screens or your coding I really don’t see my reason to have the titan. There aren’t too many games out that need that much power, but they are still super cool lol.
I was interested in the Titan lite. Looks like I might have to sell my 680 :O
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
Sounds like a server bug. It has happened in beta before and a few times after for me as well, usually after a patch.
I would wait a bit and if it persists, send a ticket.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
Is it just GW2 or is it with all games you play.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
I looked at the specs listed on the HP site and it looks good for a prebuilt. You will most likely need a new PSU to run a GPU for GW2.
You should look at getting a GTX660ti or higher(the GTX670 is a good price/performance card) or an AMD 7850(the7950 being good price/performance)
The PSU will depend on which card you like(or is within your budget). With any PSU make sure you get at least 80+bronze and from a reliable manufacturer such as Corsair or XFX.
Hope that helps a bit.

WvW has a 2-3 second lag with skills, even when there is no one around! Completely unplayable!
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
I played wow for a grand total of 2 hours and I agree 100% with kaaboose.
The game from a technical standpoint is unbelievably non optimized. Even after 7 months I still read about people who’s modern pcs are overheating.
The living story was bad for the majority of people John….sorry man but it is. If I could decapitate thrahearne, I would without a nanosecond of doubt.
I think that gw2 can be much more than it is now IF they start to polish the content they have had since release.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
I used to run full ac runs for cash but after the nerf I don’t even go near it. I suspect if they nerf the dungeons too much people will rage and go back to Orr, then get bored and quit.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
Gw2 is a CPU pig. It stresses you CPU more than other games. Only recommendation would be to buy a better cooler or wait(lol) for the game to be optimized.

The Ol’ _Ump and Grind
If you want the devs to listen to you,
this is what you gotta do,
_ump the post to the top,
just keep on _umping,
don’t you stop! It’s better than trying to pray,
just keep on _umping every day,
if we keep _umping enough,
they’ll finally see this is serious stuff!Maybe the mods will infract,
but I won’t back down, I won’t retract,
this right-click targeting needs to go,
it’s been 7 months, my gosh that’s slow!We really aren’t being mean,
we just want this post to be seen,
eleven-thousand plus views and climbing,
I’m starting to run out of rhyming! You want this post to go away?
Then fix the problem without delay!
So keep on _umping till they listen,
then we’ll finally stop our pi sin’ !Chorus
Doing the _umpy!
Doing the _umpy, _ump!
Doing the _umpy!
Doing the _umpy, _ump!
You know the issue is pretty bad when it gets its own rap.
Still no response from a dev. Please guys, any response would be awesome!

Interesting, maybe a corrupted file somewhere? If it really bothers you, you could try to repair the client but in all honesty I have no idea what would cause that on your end.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
If you have a AM3+ mobo and don’t want to shell out too much money then I would understand getting the 8350, although you won’t benefit from the extra cores that the 8350 offers.
The i5 3570k and i7 3770k seem to have better overall performance with GW2 but both AMD and Intel high end CPUs are good for GW2.
Most people with those CPUs will usually get a good aftermarket cooler in order to overclock(which GW2 loves).

The Noctua is great and you should get the TuniqX2 as well, good stuff that.

I cannot understand how Anet keeps pushing new content out without fixing the initial content from release.
I am still waiting to NOT accidentally click something when I turn my camera….
That being said I am not surprised that new stuff will be in the TP. Break out yer Visa’s folks!

My GTX 680 windforce OC OC is @ 1241/1625 and could probably do more. The HD 7950 is a great card for sure and will probably be easier for most people to OC. I just got sick of the crappy ATI drivers with my old 6950 unlocked.

I use a 42" LG but it is 4-4-4 chroma which helps with displaying clear text. I would recommend that unless you do alot of research on the particular model your looking at you should go for the monitor.
Check out AVS forums if your going to do some research, it is a great resource.

repair the client.
If you are having problems running Guild Wars 2, the data archive may have become corrupted. Please follow these steps to verify and repair the archive:
Locate your Gw2.exe file.
Right-click on the file and select Create shortcut.
Rename this new shortcut to Guild Wars 2 Repair.
Right-click on Guild Wars 2 Repair and select Properties.
Locate the Target line and add -repair to the end.
Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\gw2.exe” -repair
Click OK.
Double-clicking Guild Wars 2 Repair will begin the repair process. The game will launch when it is complete.
Note: Keep in mind that the verification and repair process will run each time you double-click the Guild Wars 2 Repair shortcut. If you would like to play the game immediately without repairing the archive, double-click on Gw2.exe or another shortcut without the -repair command.

If your CPU is overheating it will most likely shut down, which could in turn give that error message.
Apply the paste(dont use too much and see how that works. Also make sure that the heatsink is ok and clean of dust, debris and dead spiders~!(i actually had that happen once to a client!)
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
Are the ports for GW2 forwarded in your router/gateway?

intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
Like Hoegarden said it is always better to have overhead when dealing with power supplys.
There good news is that even good power supplys are not overly expensive.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
That “click-click” sound could(most likely) be from the bearing in a fan. Most likely the power supply unit.
Check to see which component the clicking sound is from. It could also be from a blocked fan on the GPU as well, such as a molex cable blocking it.
Again, I bet a norn ale it is the PSU.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
Those temps are way way too high for that CPU. The thermal limits for that CPU are:
Phenom II x4 9 Series 95W → 71’C
Phenom II x4 9 Series 125/140W → 62’C
Make sure your fan(s) are ok as well
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
GW2 is a resource hog and even on top of the line hardware it will not run fluidly.
You cannot expect a system that old to run GW2 at anywhere near the frames you want.
Break out yer piggy bank, take that Rytlock statue from the collectors edition and break it open then buy yourself and modern i5/i7 system
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
It is anet server side lag. Sit back and wait for it to go away is the only thing aside from getting that soldier in the photo to break into anet server cluster and run a cat5e cable to your house.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
Did you check the temperatures during your prime stress test?
Could be overheating.
I would bet a norn ale that it is the PSU though.
Click Start, Run and type eventvwr.msc
Select Application entry in the left pane
In the right-pane, look for the Error entry denoted by a Red X
Check for Event 41.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
There has been some severe server lag in the last few weeks so that might be one cause.
Those CPU’s are a bit old and during zergs the game will slow down to a bog. CPU’s will throttle down when they encounter too much heat. Check for dust and monitor the temperatures.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
I am actually considering risking a perma ban and putting in a macro to get rid of this issue.
Pretty sad that I have to resort to risky 3rd party software in order to play the game!
Right click targeting is inane when you have the same button for mouse camera panning.
Please Anet, no more new content. No more meet and greets. No more excuses. Fix the lack of polish that could make this game one of the best MMO’s out there!

intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
It looks like it is your PSU then.
You have a nice system there, give it some love and get a quality PSU. 80+bronze at the very minimum and from a quality manufacturer such as Corsair, XFX.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
1. Check your temperatures and your pc for dust.
2. System specs would help alot
3. for the buzzing sound try reverting the audio settings ingame to their default values.
intel 335 180gb/intel 320 160gb WD 3TB Gigabyte GTX G1 970 XFX XXX750W HAF 932
This. Unfortunately GW2 is not very optimized
Pretty bad that people have to overclock their CPU’s to 4.5ghz+ in order to get somewhat respectable frames
