roughly number different would be
lighting sigil is 1k – 1.3k
blood sigil sit around 500 -700

with your build it pretty gimmick i would take more dmg over trying to live with blood sigil

So from reading what you guys have been saying. What if we change it to 1 eva = 1 steal cd gone but gave thief a buff of x charge allowing him on next one to be 2 eva = 2 steal cd have it cap out at 10.

So it be Gain buff on Eva Duration lasting 10 seconds (each charge refreshes buff time)
Well under the effect of “Swinder Equilibrium” allowing Steal to recharge faster up to 10 stacks. Each stack allowing you recharge Steal faster.

Thoughts on how that mite improve the trait or break it more.

Well it come down being able to recharge steal faster allow you mug gaining hp + cc allowing you fight longer having more reward from your eva.

i would hate if the tablet fallowed me around if i hit an x range i like leaving it set up on someone to heal them well i do other stuff. its not like there a limit range on pulling the tablet back to you

I would love it if Energy system was completely changed on the class to where it second legendary is used for weapon attack. Main legendary power used for utility bar.

So when you swap legendary it swap the bar energy around.

i will start with weapons

Mace + Axe

Auto combo: it fast it stack Con pretty fast does pretty solid dps 8/10
Searing Fissure : Great fire field low cd cast time feel a little long for such a small result 5/10
Echoing Eruption : Intresting skill dmg feel way to weak on it love to see it scale in dmg, each pulse doing more dmg. or maybe even allow it slam same spot 3 times over. 4/10
Frigid Biltz love the mech idea. great cd time 10/10
Temporal Rift : Is neat i feel like we should be able to target where it casted but i like idea 8/10

Hammer
Auto combo: great range great dmg 10/10
Coalecence of Ruin the dmg on this skill is insane for it CD time 15/10 mite need to raise CD slightly
Phase smash neat mech good dmg 9/10
field of the mists: love it 10/10
Drop the hammer: great range on a knockdown 10/10

Staff
Auto combo: great it fast 10/10
Debiltrating slam / Punishing Sweep great love skill that punish other for attacking 10/10
Warding Rift : love anything block dmg 10/10
Renewving Wave: con removal an healing is always great 10/10
Surge of the mist: love the idea of CC that basically eat threw all stability stacks. 10/10

Traits:

i am not going to get to big in this topic because it still unfinished

Mostly traits feel way to defense at moment every line no matter what you look at it just feel like i am picking up utility. basically i am saying i would love to see more dmg lines.

overall i do not think traits are in a bad place 9/10

Legandarys:

i feel cost on all the stance skill are just to much right now most them do not do enough to really help the class. in the time it take to build up source.

that being said i really like all legendary stances rate it 7/10

be for we end this i gotta say i love how fluent all the weapons are in combat are.

… ppl like you shoud really stick your head out of the D/P heaven of yours… what do you thing would happen to the already suffering build diversity!!!?!

i do not even play d/p or stealth builds for that matter…

i like vamp mostly because of duration of mist form -4 seconds almost put your withdraw off cd every time : ).

just remember trap set up on a 90 degree angle to what way you are facing so… if you always setting them up correctly you have farther range then if it was a circle trap.

Superior Rune of the Radiance: is not increasing the duration Sunspot trait. it should be 5 seconds not 4 seconds. Also the tool tip on both of them are not updating with rune set on.

My overview on this trait line

Acrobatic : Minors
Expeditous Dodger : great trait for thief.
Fleet Shadow : probably will never be used
Vigorous Recovery: is fine not the best i would of like to seen vigor an might together
Pain Response: Probably best trait in the line, CD i would of like to see go down maybe 15 or even 10 since it forces you pick up another con removal line with that high of a CD.

Majors
Feline Grace : is a joke… honestly i think it should be merge with endless stamina an given a new grand master trait
Guarded Initation: This one is also a joke, Not only does it remove con that does not honestly effect a thief your hp never be that high on 95% of builds.
Swinder’s Equilibrium: i play with this one for a bit it does not recharge steal fast enough to be worth it. buff 3 or even 4 seconds mite make it worth picking up.
Hard to Catch: its not terrible. i do like change to it.

Grand master
Endless Stamina: again should be merge in to Feline grace an given a new grand master. if i was to pick one maybe something along the lines of 2 second of Stability on evading attack with 5 second CD. Or just something that prolong thief ability to stay in combat.
Assassin’s Reward: it simply just does not heal enough be better if they added the +1 Initiative every 10 seconds in it or buff the healing even just healing power scaling mite make it a lot better.
Upper hand :: i think it be better if it restore x initiative of single dodge use before it go on CD allowing thief get max value from the skill they eva. such as thief dodges rapid fire it would give them 6ish Initiative over just the 1, before it go on CD.
Don’t Stomp : i like this trait i think one of main way thief dies is to immobilize so it good design pick up for thief.

My overview on thief is :
dmg is in a good place
Con removal is not terrible it very easy to get overwhelm
there still quite fast. can get around map no problem
Hp / tankyness / healing is alright not amazing

i rate thief out of 10 not counting Acrobatic line 8/10 on how much i enjoy the change.

Oh that a good point with lyssa runes i may have to try that an for escape you just use Jump infitrator strike that delete shadow return. in most places in WvW you can get a target

Basically your main rotation is to go Basilisk Vemon > Infitrator strike > Needle trap > withdraw > Steal(last second of withdraw)drops second needle trap ontop of them > pistol whip > pwn

i thinking it be cool if it clear all field being other teams. so anything on the ground would get clear. of course with a aoe limit cap of probably 5 that way basically spamming stuff on the ground would not be ideal thing to do any more

So any field type + any trap + any mark is there any other type of ground field i am forgetting ?.

another tip is if you just pass threw your target where your char is just starting show threw them. cast backstab it count as a back without having to turn around. i most only use that if i have cripple on me.

i personally enjoy more of a tank to help me out like a warrior or guardian for good con removal / aoe control then all the thief has to do is let there tank get them around 70% just tko them.

Here the build i played for last month i shown it to about 10 thief so far i had 0 complaint about it. it a little easy to punish if your out place. but it has amazing burst for being a support build.

it says your not allow to use marco " if a player is unable to do it in the game itself" all marco i test can be done in the game i have done them with out one. but it easier to practice if you know the timing your looking for.

i honestly only play with marco if i am trying to find exact timing or test if somthing even possible. but if your asking if i use them in PVP/PvE/WvW ? no they are unreliable they do not factor your FPS / PING / MS delay can make you play worse then a beginner player.

to do the 3 1 rotation you have to go 901 range Or if you want to be all mlg you can go any range with stow weapon after the teleport.
