GW1 = more build diversity?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Teofa Tsavo.9863

Teofa Tsavo.9863

Over the past couple of years (ever since build templates were added to the game), I have saved around ~500 builds in my template folder, 90% of which are monk builds.
And I am a pvp player first.

Fact is GW has a gozzilion builds you can opt for (though admittedly, you were/are more restricted in pvp, depending on your team and their general level of skill and playing habits, yet the diversity was still insane on both micro and macro level), and more you could create from scratch when feeling inspired or just wanted to farm a certain zone/mob group/bossie.

Out of curiosity how many of those builds are still viable?

From a pve standpoint all of my builds in GW are still viable for what I built them to do.
I have 320 builds. Some are single situation builds. Some are idiot proofed for Heroes.
Some are enemy specific, ie destroyers. Some are for solo.. some for VQ, some for VQ in 4 member group areas. I have NM builds for goofing off, and HM builds. RoJ is awesome in NM, in HM.. not so. Meteor the same.

I have builds simply for DoA to synergize with LB skills. Builds changing up 2nd profession. on and on. I have builds that work only if my enemies are not human, or even narrower, Charr specific. I built anti res builds just for HM WIK. Full group build sets tailored to specific challenge missions.

And I have idiot builds so I can run 8 heroes with pets, because it is amusing. Not optimal at all.

If you want to blather about Meta only, well Meta is Meta, in all games, and always restrictive and undiversified.

I cannot see how anyone can shrug off the fact that GW has far more builds and variety, more than any other online game I’ve played in 12 years.

Shrug. That is probably why my /age there is over 10k hours. And why I didn’t complain about less bank, no housing, no mounts, no big MMO bling.

lack of sense of urgency in ls2

I think that what the OP is getting at is, for example, what we did in all of GW1 stories and the PS.

We doggedly pursued. We didn’t stop for bowling tournaments, hoe downs, or special olympics events. If you were on the story line, nothing was included with it.

Here, it’s a lack of defining. Only a small part of the LS is story. A lot of the LS is fulfilling the mini expacs function. So, you will see games and farming and a whole lot of activities that really are not LS, They just don’t make it clear. If you have completed the story instances, the story part is done. The rest is “other” content. It isn’t distinct since it usually has to be included into the “new” areas needed for the Story content. This other content may be “thematic” to the story line, but isn’t a part of it. Just as Keg Brawl, world exploration, group farms and JPs have no part in the PS.

LS setup you can’t doggedly pursue the story element. It will come in chunks, at intervals, along with the other things they feel they need to feed the “xpac worth of content” sales line. It is a delivery issue.

Capturing Scarlett would have required the “writer” to have come up with actual answers to the gaping swiss cheese plot.

We would be asking Scarlet. and not left to fill in the massive gaps on our own.

I don’t think the “writer” would have been capable of doing Scarlets answers in any sort of remotely plausible fashion. Hasn’t yet. But , Ley lines, yah know.

Playstyle. I’m still a solo roamer. The class shines as a solo hunter. I can control the range and adds far better with a longbow and still switch to a very capable melee up close. I think my Rangers survive more situation than any of my other classes. Underwater we are pretty snarly.

I use krytan Hound a lot. Surprising amout of KD interrupts. the Fearing wolf is my backup.

But I’m a bad player who refuses to GW2 the right way. No interest in the zerg or equipping skills to support them. 3 level 80 Rangers, so I’m pretty committed to not doing it right.

GW2: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

My Bads and Uglies are pretty well known.

Good

Environment. Sense of Wonder, yes. I was raised in Colorado, and standing on a certain vista in Timberline falls always sparks a Deja Vu of cold creeks and springtime mountain valleys.

Art and Characters. As good as it gets. Arenanet did amazing art for GW that managed to run on Windows 3, and it has stepped up to exceed expectations again, here.

Staff. With a couple of major exceptions I believe the staff of Arenanet is very talented and capable. Ree, so multi-talented. Gail is a wonder. I LOATHE platforming and still see Josh as an interesting and innovative person any game would love to have on staff. I could name more names but it would take too much space. Simply put.. I think they have collected an amazing group. (how they are directed is another opinion totally)

Combat. It’s good. rather limited but “good”. Dodge as the single avoidance mech doesn’t lead to a lot of options, unfortunately.

Music. Excellent.

Why people criticize Anet

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Teofa Tsavo.9863

Teofa Tsavo.9863

Original Guild Wars was just an overall better game with younger devs that wanted to create a good game with interesting stories to tell and mechanics to show.

Really wish they told an interesting story then, instead of reheated cliche heaped onto stereotype . . . really, Prophecies was the worst storyline which has been connected to ArenaNet.

Bar none.

Eh. I have a hard time believing that any story not featuring The Scarlett Snowflake has any hope of winning the coveted “Anet Worst Story” Razzie.

pssh. Prophecies didn’t even have Ley lines.

No, but it did have the most transparent traitor-turn yet. And a runner-up for “how did we not know this guy was going to betray us?” . . .

On the plus side, they offed Rurik early on, instead of making us continue escorting him. Oh, and it had Oink The Incredible.

Oink the Wonderpig. Savior of Noobs. Master of One word Dialog.

I was actually a bit upset with Ruriks demise. Here I’m more Yeah.. whatever.

I also didn’t see The White Mantle are bad guys! coming. I was a bit WTF there. Vizier Jafar.. er.. Khibron, yeah, obvious enough cept for when. That was a reveal early on with the Lich appearing and doing the muaa haa haa. Easy dots to connect.

Without comparing the Games though, Scarlett is/was terrible, astoundingly terrible. No “terrible as compared to”. Surprises were, for me, on the order of.. oh god no.. ANOTHER impossible alliance/ability!! My emotional reaction was and still is “Please stop” and it isn’t directed at the NPC.

Tossing a canned fantasy staple in and rewriting everything to fit, I dunno, it just strikes me as uninspired and lazy. Ley lines. Whatever. 10 mins on google will demonstrate that Ley lines can explain anything someone wishes to explain. Anything. Nothing in fantasy is really new, but take the time to change the names at the very least. Use the concept instead of dropping it in “in toto”.

I guess as well this applies to character tropes. They didn’t have to be so glaring. The Honey Boo Boo adorably precocious Tiami didn’t also have to be the disability poster child. Braham becoming Braham One Eye or Braham One Arm would have been far more interesting to actually see and develop in-game. Sam Spade and the Blonde got old fast. My teddy bear… sob. Yeah, I cried a bit inside, for the writing, not Kasmeer. Eh, whatever.

Subtlety may be hard to write into a game, but I don’t see how that means Characterization has to be done with the Club of 1000 Bears. I personally hate how the dialog doesn’t allow the PC to dislike a snowflake NPC. “talk to the group” instead of “talk to your friends” works fine. For some reason the “friends” thing has ticked me off since I was told to say farewell to my “friend” Logan. What. Who.. when did this happen.. NO, just NO.

Comparing GW2 to no other game would still end up with me finding the PS/LS to be canned, tepid and uninspired.

This won’t end well.

Do you actually read posts?

That would get in the way of actually trying to make his point. Which I’m still not sure of.

Okay, so to step back from the discussion of mounts prompting more people to explore the world (whut?) . . . if they existed as I laid out in my post solely as a noncombat form and not as a speed boost . . .

The only objection is the cost of time and resources to develop it and to test it. And, as I noted before, the enormous trouble of making sure one particular race with troublesome tails and poise doesn’t find clipping issues with every one of them.

I’d rather they take any efforts in developing mounts and, well, developing interesting monsters to add to the game, or non-Gem weapons and armor which look interesting and functional.

How about a multi race flat platform with shiny stoof n gadjets. I don’t care if they add mounts or not. This is just a “mount” that I know of with no new PC animations needed, no mount movement animations needed, no clipping problems for any race, and using a low poly model. There are even simpler mounts in EQ2, consisting of just a crouch animation on a disc or a carpet.

Mount would not need to be a horse, or a Flying Shark with a Lazor hat.

I actually predict we will see a Ley line riding platform added. Because… Ley lines.. and you can’t sell multiple versions of existing static waypoints in the gem store.

Two things they didn’t do that perhaps they should have.

Name it anything but Guild Wars 2. One early EQ2 lead developer stated that naming the game Everquest 2 was a huge mistake.

Start the new game with a built in Lore Bandaid. I thought for years that what EQ2 did was cheesy.. but they avoided retroactive lore revisions to Everquest. EQ2 Norrath was “one of many possible alternate timelines”. The Paramount Trek fixitall.

Shrug. The sheer entertainment value of watching a Dorito lead a zerg of cavalry off a cliff negates a lot of no votes, for me.

I can see and hear it now. "Woo, I love Death Shroud, safe from death . . . "

Yeah, I suppose that’d be worth it but . . . never really had a good experience with mounts in games, even where they were “important”. The only time I found them useful was in Ultima Online, and that was just because the PK Gank Squad usually had Frenzied Ostards and if you didn’t have a horse you were asking to die a terrible terrible death.

There is really no valid argument for “no mounts” but for some reason the topic is a knee jerk hot button here.

Because a lot of times they were a status symbol for the l33t. Because more than a few of us really find them less than necessary even in games which didn’t have waypoints. Because for more than a few it reminds them of some other game they grew to despise.

For me? I think they’re unnecessary and prone to a lot more troubles than some armor skins and charr. A considerable amount more. I wouldn’t be completely opposed to tonics only which couldn’t be used in combat, like the transformations we had since GW1 and Mad King’s Holiday.

Amazing Tyria. Tanks, Airships, helicopters, matter transference, holograms and more. And not a single soul who looked at a pack dolyak and thought “I wonder if I could sit on that pack saddle”.

Sure. Stone Summit did it all the time.

Ergo, mounts are eeeeeeeeeevil . . .

How in the world did I erase Dolyak Riders from my memory. It’s all come back now, Dreadnaughts Drift..the pain, the deaths, no! my survivor! no!. Good thing its all just a bad dream, since I’m often assured there have never been mounts in GW, EVAR.

I agree with another point tho. Mounts should never be allowed power creep, stats, buffs or a speed not attainable by other means. EQ2 went way overboard giving mounts power and speed. It was funny back in the day when a Warden or Bard could pass your shiny new noob horse on foot. You can’t even give away Spirit of the Wolf now. So yes, I guess if players are looking at how mounts can be abused.. well, I wouldn’t want that either.

I used mounts for the fun of using mounts. I liked my slooow ones. A huge part of my love for that game died when Smokejumper unilaterally increased mount speed to 130%. Benny Hill Ponies. Even with walk toggled, they ran. Slowly loping through the countryside was replaced by frenzied runaway psycho ponies. I built a player home stable for them and retired them all.

But they are mobs not on your side and the riders/mounts die together like they are one piece. Sorry just no to mounts.

Teofa Tsavo.9863

People always keeps tossing the whole one expansion every six months when they talk about GW1.
This is blatantly false.

Firstly there was only one expansion, that that was released MORE THAN TWO YEARS after Prophecies.

Secondly only one of the releases had the stated six month gap, and that was between Factions and Nightfall while the time between Prophecies and Factions was almost exactly one year, and the time between Nightfall and Eye of the North was about 10,5 months.

A little play on semantics there, not worth the all caps. Yes, one expansion, and 2 “Campaigns” that were essentially as large as traditional mmo expansions, but standalone.

Declaring “Blatantly False” is exaggeration, and based upon a very narrow interpretation of a box label.

No doubt, to me, that Guild Wars put out more content that I was attracted to and played. I don’t like console game knockoffs so I didn’t play Pac Wurms or Pokasuramon. Other than those I did almost all.

Folks, usually the same folks, will claim GW2 has more content overall, even at launch. Maybe so. For this singular consumer, a lot of it was uninteresting. I’m not interested in story content after a bit of it, for me it is just too badly written, both generations of Iconics annoying and too center stage, and just getting worse. No interest in JPs, platforming at all. The spacebar wasn’t a revolution in gaming for me. WvW is enough pvp for me, I’ve never entered sPvP. The fractals format is uninteresting. Recyling old zones as “new content” is annoying and uninteresting, but that is more of an issue with who was causing the zone disruption more than anything.

So for me, this game has less content, because a lot of it seems aimed at a demographic that isn’t me. I never felt that way in GW. Now that more platforming has been mainstreamed into the story line, I feel even more alienated. New Content I can’t do isn’t content at all, for me.

I think it is perspective. If you are enthusiastic about every tidbit thrown into the game, that may be a lot of content. I’m not, so I don’t see a lot of new content. After an hour or so of failing what I am told are “infant” level jumps at Dry Top I don’t even want to return to the zone, and I no longer care what it gates me from, or even be around people so harshly judgemental regarding disabilities. I don’t care enough about the Superfriends or “What Scarlet saw this week” to bash my head against platforming.

Plus side.. I’m not paying anything for the new content. That’s great, for me, I’m getting exactly what I paid for. 0.

I still enjoy the scenery and my chars. Just harassing local wildlife away from the zerg can occupy me for a couple hours when I log on. I’m not done with the game, but I am convinced the game and genre are done with me. I don’t think an expansion matters, it will be the same directed path, the same insistence that I must love every aspect of the game, and the same concocted group of walking tropes I’m somehow supposed to love, and according to game text, do love. An expansion would include the megamerge as well, the biggest mistake of the game, IMO. I just cannot connect with a company and a demographic that tells me destroying home servers and communities is a “great” improvement.

No point bickering between the two Guild Wars. New game, new devs, new direction, new player demographics, new writers, new lore. And the new takes precedence over the old. GW is grandpa sitting on the porch wondering wtf his kid is doing. And Im gramma wondering the same.

I exhausted myself this week re Lore. I realized today, it doesn’t matter. Few care, and fewer care re gw lore. Caring about anything from GW isn’t going to fly here.

I can sit and laugh regarding the antics of the world boss scramblers and the Frostgorge trains, the unbridled zerg rage at the ones “not doing it right” but, the zergs are target market, not me. /shrug.

Personally, I’m done comparing two vastly different games.

Ok, Varesh had a few years window to accomplish this “we didn’t see it” feat. Ok. But no free Centaur we work with brings it up despite the event having to be within somewhat recent memory? So now I have to assume, for poor plots sake, they all forgot. No matter. A wizard did it. Makes as much sense.

You’re, like, bound and determined to start nailing people to poles over this . . . complete non-issue with lore. Which gets explained by the immediate fridge logic if you bring it up as a problem:

“Oh, so it had to be a revision to lore to whitewash that whole thing.”

“You saw it was written by Varesh, apparently? Probably was just propaganda.”

“Okay, so why do none of the centaurs ever bring it up? Huh? Huh?!”

“You mean the ones bent on killing absolutely anyone who strays into their territory like the Harathi and the Tamini, or the ones who were never in Elona to begin with?”

Uh, the Centaur we were helping vs Kournan forces in Elona at the time. Zhed, Mirza, etc. The ones that apparently forgot the treachery and alliance turned slavery that had recently happened. In other words, more “fill in the blanks somehow”. These “tiny” offhand revisions have a ripple effect, leading to more blanks to fill in or ignore. I’m voicing an opinion about revisions in general, which are becoming common sauce.

And yeah, someone needs to be somewhat nailed to a pole. Why is that an issue, since you are happily nailing me to one?

I don’t think any centaur in the game at the moment even has the slightest inkling about anything that has happened in Elona like, ever. And even if they did, why would they spontaneously start expounding on rather specific events that happened a few centuries ago on a different continent?

“Yeah, these people just fell out of the sky. I know, right? Tragic! And oh by the way, how about those Kournan slavers? You don’t? Well, settle in, this is a gonna be a long story. Have some oats.”

It’s left to the player to make up an explanation for why it doesn’t match their experience in Nightfall.

There’s no need to make up an explanation.

Just take both what you know from GW1 and what you read in Scarlet’s house at face value, and the answer presents itself. Unless you’re unaware of the concept of ‘propaganda’, in which case you should worry more about your general knowledge than the quality of a video game’s writing.

No need to insult people. I’m well aware of what propaganda is. Also aware of what a revision is. I’ll decide what label fits, thanks.

So now I have to assume, for poor plots sake, they all forgot. No matter. A wizard did it. Makes as much sense.

I’ll repeat. There were better Individuals and stories to bring forth as Scarletts inspiration without breaking lore.

“I recently read an account of ancient events in Tyria. It appears that a Vizier Khibron was able to dupe both the Shining Blade and a notable hero of the era into recovering the Sceptre of Orr for him freely and willingly. They happily and unknowingly handed the Sceptre to what was the Entity known as the Lich Lord. They blindly assumed they were following a path they chose, but fulfilling his plan instead. He used their motivation towards their own goal and subverted it to his. His “allies” fought through the mursatt and White Mantle for him and delivered him to the place he needed to be. His mistake was revealing himself far too early.

Delightful. I wonder what a more capable mind could do on a much grander scale. I plan to see.

There is much in this Tome on other interests as well."

This assumes of course that the events of prophecy were known and written of. No great leap for me. Cynd couldn’t hold her tongue, anyway.

Bit too late. I’m no writer, I’m a reader. That’s the “fill in the blanks” lore for myself, and I’ll leave Varesh Ossa out of it.

Did Living Story writers play Nightfall?

Didn’t the Kournans actually ally with the centaurs to enslave them? I thought the whole point of the centaur-rescue mission was that there were trusted centaurs who backstab Kourna to fight for their freedom?

The word “collaborator” comes to mind to describe such trusted centaurs. But I saw, personally, no such things. Only centaurs who decided doing what they were instructed was safer, so Kournan soldiers knew “this one isn’t going to be trouble”.

Kodonur Crossroads was an interesting mission in that regard.

History is rife with slaves/prisoners considered “broken” enough to allow more free movement. Or willing to betray other slaves/prisoners for food/perks. At the worst part of our US “chaingang” history some prisoners actually functioned as guards. Greenbadge common criminals were used as enforcers in concentration camps as well.

As for the Centaur with the Cell key? Well, some just aren’t as broken as they think.

Mounts

Teofa Tsavo.9863

Whenever you want to make a theory linking original lore with GW2 lore just repeat bolded text a couple of times. It should help.

Pretty much this. In the realm of fantasy fiction there are few things that haven’t been explained away with Ley lines. They are a convenient mechanic, despite being used to exhaustion. A way to say “a wizard did it”, sans wizard.

My problem with Eternal Alchemy

in Lore

Posted by: Teofa Tsavo.9863

Teofa Tsavo.9863

The Eternal Alchemy doesn’t make the human gods or the norn spirits obsolete.
We know for a fact that the realms the human gods control are real. we’ve been there in gw1. Dwayna even controls a very specific realm which is equivalent to heaven, and thats where humans go for paradise and etc. etc. Because the eternal Alchemy is real doesnt mean that Dwayna and her paradise realm for dead humans isnt real. We know they are, from GW1.
The Eternal Alchemy just explains how the human gods fit into the universe, amoung other powerful beings like the pale tree, the dragons, and the norn spirits.

I don’t see how using the Asuran belief system to define the role of all other beliefs is not Asura Centric.

Theory: Anet trying to remove WP for Mounts?

in Living World

Posted by: Teofa Tsavo.9863

Teofa Tsavo.9863

I hate to see the “necessary” argument tossed around.

More than one armor skin per category is “unnecessary”
More than one skin of each weapon type is “unnecessary”
Dye is “unnecessary”
Toys, townclothes, tonics, minis, anything not needed to play the game is “unnecessary”
I often wonder if the lag, lightshow and seizure producing cosmetic particle effects are “necessary”

But people want all those things, and are willing to work hard in game or pay cash to get them.

Unnecessary isn’t a valid argument about QoL fluff. None of it is necessary.

Feel free to use actual arguments though.

One argument I can’t deny is powercreep mounts. 130%-170% run speed, stat boosts, combat buffs. Having experienced power creep mounts in EQ2 I would agree that an abused mount system is something no game needs, ever. Mounts should never go from being a point A to B mild speed buff to a stat requirement for a Raiding guild. The concept of BIS mounts was horribly wrong. If that is the kind of mount people want, well I would have to have a big NO!! as well.

reading this made me hate some of the gw 2 comminity WHY do u have SO much against DUELING itS Fun if u have something against it DONT PLAY IT DONT DUEL let us enjoy dueling kitten

AS A.NET has said in the past, this game is not balanced for 1 vs. 1 and it is especially NOT balanced wihile using PvE items. The only way to balance the whole game is to have PvP – which duleing is BTW, in PvP and PvE by itself.

from GW2 WIKI

“Player versus Player
Primary article: Player versus Player Is there any type of Open World PvP?
No, there is no open world PvP of any kind, this includes dueling. If you wish to fight against a player, you must do so in custom arenas. If you wish to participate in large scale battles against other servers, then World versus World would be the closest thing to open world PvP.
What types of PvP will be available?
Currently, the game includes two types:

  1. World versus World — huge, ongoing battles in the Mists between uneven groups of players of different levels.
  2. Structured PvP has two major types: tournament play, similar to guild battles in Guild Wars — this pits two evenly matched teams against each other; and pick-up play where individual players or groups can pick games to join based on available space, map and other settings.11

In addition, certain activities are also considered PvP, e.g. bar brawling and snowball fights."

This should put an end to this thread. No to dueling in PvE areas.

For a very specific quote, you must have a link somewhere.

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Frequently_Asked_Questions

It is in the FAQ – how hard is it to find it.

This ancient text should stop dueling because…?

Because, at this time, the owners of this intellectual property have said No. You all are repeatedly asking an answered question.

I would love mounts.. but if Anet actually came out and said NO to mounts as clearly as they have said NO to dueling I would not support those threads at all. No point. Question already answered.

They have said no mounts, also. So stop with the mounts also.

Deal. If you stop as well. Oops, thought I was responding to who I quoted. The offer still holds. (I’ve never started a mount thread so no big deal to me)

Eh, the game can be as difficult as you want to make it, as in examples mentioned. I had a friend who would reroll on char death. He wasn’t on the forums asking for permadeath for others, tho.

And I think that the real issue is bragging rights. You want that. It’s not about challenge. Its all about pointing out to others that you can do what they cannot. It is sweeter when the content is open to all, since you have more to feel superior to.

And as hard as you make it, it won’t be hard enough. Someone will be “that guy” asking for harder AI, more monstas, deleveling, and all kinds of hard core goodness.

Am I playing Guild Wars 2 wrong?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Teofa Tsavo.9863

Teofa Tsavo.9863

Since you already have a level 80 (which most ignored) and are wondering what to do you are indeed kinda playing GW2 wrong.

There is no endgame. At this level, you join the grindgame. You grind champions, you grind LS for 2 weeks after the hour of storytime, you grind out various dungeons. It all depends upon what carrot you want. You pretty much grind out for carrots, or grind out for gold to buy gems to buy carrots. You can grind for craft mats if you feel like grinding for a long time for a minor stat boost. You can grind to find precursors or gold to buy one.. then grind for the legendary mats. You can join a Guild and grind out commendations doing the same thing, over and over. You can do WvW on unchanging maps over and over.. but live opponents does add some spice. You can grind for Achievements as well.

Same thing, over and over, pretty much describes post 80 GW.

You can still wander the world, hit a few DEs you haven’t and find a few new things, but at level 80 you are really meant to do the same old things, a lot. Very few singular events are going to reward you much of anything. If an event or npc does offer a chance at decent reward, you will be expected to join the Zerg, or the zerg will run over you as you try to do it. Either way, any challenge is gone. Some zerg targets require a fail condition, so, if you try to complete some events you will be abused for not playing gw2 right.

You could run some dungeons for the fun of first time through, but no one will want you unless you are doing it right. Right gear, right armor, right spec, right runes, and still a groupkick if you slow them down 40 seconds. Because “they” are doing it over and over.

LS gives new stuff every 2 weaks. One days worth. Then you still end up doing the same thing, over and over, for any meaningful reward.

Shrug. Many seem to love this. Understandable.. it’s no different than any other mmo, just not grinding for stat gear drops. You grind for “other stuff”.

I tend to just wander around to mine and kill Bears, since I can’t murder Charr. Or I go to wvw, where I can. They are simply precious when on fire and rolling around making noises. I do actually love saving the Quaggan in Frostgorge, mainly for the comments I get for being a vile, griefing Quaggan saver.

I don’t play GW2 right, at all. I don’t even have a backpeice of the month on. You can play gw2 the wrong way, but you won’t be a kewl kid.

Update: The Road Goes On and On.

“In order to let each player further explore and experience YOUR story in the world of GW2 we will be removing a number of waypoints from the game. The thrill and community building aspect of simply traveling the world in huge, angry mobs is an experience we know you will come to value.

To enhance this “Comraderie of The Road” we will be introducing two new Companion NPCs, a feature often asked for. Players will have a choice of recruiting either Jar Jar Quaggan or Adoring Fan Quaggan. Jar Jar will provide endless hours of comedic relief, and AF will regale you with constant gushing adoration of every move you make. (in keeping with our philosophy on Heroes, neither will be combat capable, but there will be a movement debuff if the Road Companion is dismissed or dies)

See you on the Road!!!"

How about no?

I can understand people not wanting WPs but being permanently stuck with Quaggans is beyond horrendous. It’s bad enough we have to suffer them in almost every place.

It was a satirical post. It’s not happening. And I agree, the only thing worse than the current superfriends team would be follower quaggan with the same dialog writers.

Anise can then join the Superfriends, and we can watch the gripping drama of her and Delaqua developing feelings for each other and the mayhem ensuing from that. Should be worth hours of cutscene dialog. Particularly if the Snowflake Queen keeps popping in unexpectedly.

Jennah, with her ties to GW1, simply has to go. The Snowflake Princess can be rewritten on a whim, Jennah is too restricted by that darn gw lore business.
