You’re in the wrong mode for making money. I hear that new PvE feature they released is great for it. I think they called it Edge of the Mist or something….Or was it Champion Bags Galore. Cannot recall.
Rubber banding, characters ‘ice skating’ when applying swiftness (character glitches so that the animation stops, and the character just slides along the ground at top speed, both your own and others at random) and unexpected fall damage deaths from jumping on slopes/staircases. (Jump down, take 1/3rd fall damage, lock up for a second, then scream and die.) All of these have been limited to WvW for me. I have not seen them in open world PVE.
The fall damage one can happen anywhere. I’ve had it happen in LA near FT. Mariners just a bit north of the Trading Post there.
It helps if you don’t bandwagon to stack servers
Also EoTM should only have PvE achievements (excluding EoTM exclusive ones).
Recently i’ve been noticing a trend in WvW and im not sure how exactly to reproduce it however it’s happened twice on my Elementalist.
Cannons, specifically those in fortified towers/keeps will display an error message if you attempt to use them after jumping to their location. “Cannot use siege while holding a bundle” or something to that effect. This leads to you being unable to get off the siege as well as you get the following message “Cannot drop bundle in air”.
The only work around for this is to waypoint / leave the map or be killed on said emplacement.
Til recently we were able to acces our bank and guild bank accounts on the borderlands through the guild masters.
But with the last update, you silently patched it away.
Why A-net??!!because it was a bug and we’re not meant to access our bank through a guild master NPC
then they need to properly state it’s a bugfix and address what happens by fixing the bug in terms of slowing down WvW. Guild/Personal Bank NPC’s need to be added to each borderland.
Huh, I can see how it would be frustrating for it to restart the spinning. Perhaps there is a happy middle ground where it starts out spinning then once you move the camera it stops.
Or we can just not have spinning and let us have camera control.
Or an option to disable “puke imminent function on downed state”. I’d be okay with this too.

They also negate the usefulness of having meaningful offensive siege. They also horrendously stagnate assaulting with 0 risk associated with them by means of firing through solid objects and utilizing massive splash radii.
The goal here is to make siege meaningful and tactical not abusive.
Sure, they probably weren’t meant to fire at rams on gates, but they’re purpose is to counter enemy trebs/catas. If they couldn’t be used for that, attackers would pretty much have a free way into every tower/keep as long as they outnumber the defenders.
Not as free as you think if the defenders actually did more than sit on their keep. It’s not about siege humping and creeping. The most successful way to stop an attack is to go to its source. This is when WvW is its most fun. Getting out and getting your own hands dirty. Not sitting pretty behind walls that are crumbling and because your to busy stumbling and picking your nose.

how about we fix the two glaring issues….
Using this item from stealth and from behind doors.
This item should remove stealth, it should also not be possible to throw it from behind a door as there is 0 risk and only reward. 0 Counterplay to be had when all you have to do is drop 1 aoe to remove aegis and then toss the grenade at the door.
What im about to suggest may hurt some aspects of gameplay, but to me and many others they are unhealthy as is.
First you need to clearly define a structure that is meant for defense. Towers / Keeps / Castles. Then you need to dictate the area of which around those defensive siege may be placed.
I have expressly left off supply camps for the sole reason that setting up siege in a supply camp is not something that is healthy to WvW.

Now that you have defined offensive siege you can define defensive siege as Arrow Carts / Ballista’s and Neutral Siege as Golems.
Each Structure should have with in the radius a set number of both offensive, defensive and neutral siege it can have.
Now to get to preventing the troll. Each player regardless of status now has a supply burden. That is to say a soft cap of how much supply they can spend per engagement. That number can be fairly liberal lets say 500. The only way to improve said burden is to actively go out and participate in WvW events, taking towers keeps, camps , sentries. Doing so replenishes your burden. This should scale appropriately. I.E towers restore 200, keeps 300, castles 500, camps 50, sentries 10. or some scale thereof. Perhaps have an ICD in there in such rare cases where no objective can be capped in a certain time frame.
Repairing fixed placements such as walls / doors / cannons/ oil / mortar do not count against your burden.
Additionally. You may want to remove the ability to carry over supply from other borderlands as this too helps in trolling and really only promotes blitzkriegs and less tactical approaches. Doing so would hinder zergplay, something you’ve long stated you want to do but have made very few good steps toward doing so.

It’s one thing to do screw around with a door treb, but instances like 6 ballistas around the supply depo is malicious and should be ban-able offenses.
If you think this is malicious, you haven’t faced Yak’s Bunker. Where every camp has 2 trebs, 6 ballista’s. If it’s north camp they have 4 trebs, 6 ballista’s and 2 Omega’s as well.

game being very stale. Same general game play, no new class, no new weapons, very few new traits/skills. The fact that it has a population still playing a relatively unchanged and unbalanced game mode is pretty impressive. Lets face it, GW2 is the Team Fortress of WvW at this point.
More like EoTM is the PL version of TF2 maps when what WvW players really want is 5cp and ANET is to busy creating MvM to get more new players in.
I’m honestly pretty disappointed with the lack of coordination people are showing for defending their siege from these. Where are the projectile defense rotations?

Defense is entirely too safe, infact overly so and this only leads to a snowballing effect.

The people talking about pushing were not the commanders. Most commanders realized that going gold meant getting rolled for 4 weeks and losing most of our casual players after week 1(which is a significant portion of our server). It was the random players who thought “Crystal Desert will has what it takes to overcome an epic Challenge!” that were posting about going gold.

Pretty much every guild and commander on CD voted in that thread, the result were mixed but the overall consensus was if we push or get gold we’re going to fight and enjoy it. Most of us have been through the ups and downs and 4 weeks of losing is nothing compared to where we used to be. Whether that be on CD during its implosions or on other servers.
Wonder if this will get any update…clearly the optimization fixes did more harm than good.
Reverse the timers.
Golems shut down for 40, Everything else 20. Add a 50 second lockout phase after the siege has been disabled.
Makes golem rushes less effective but makes planned sieges still viable. Still stalls, but doesn’t stagnate.

Final thrust deals almost the exact same dmg as eviscerate to targets below 50% (1 dmg less check the wiki if you want). It is on a condition damage/hybrid weapon and has a painfully slow animation and standard melee range.
Arcing slice gives fury, has damage that is constant at all adrenaline levels and is a easy way to prock cleansing ire.
I honestly don’t get why so many ppl are disliking the skill, it is almost as if they were expecting great sword to get a aoe eviscerate.I expected it to be an AoE Burst skill (as the name suggests) that could crit for 5k by chance. But time after time, it’s been underwhelming.
I do understand the AoE caveat though. Make sense.
It does crit for that high if you are running damage instead of nomads.
Strictly talking from a performance standpoint there is significant delay in t3 play as well.
Weapon swapping out of combat taking a good 4-5 seconds. Skills on delay a good 6+ as well.
From a “fun perspective”…. Siege disable trap can go away, until its re-tunned. It is ludicrously broken. This is considering we can only assault towers and keeps from given points. If we could break any part of a tower, keep or scale them to get in fine. You could then keep it in it’s current iteration, but as is. It’s a defenders wet dream. It only goes to deny skilled and coordinated pushes as 1 person can stockpile as many as they want and use them without fear as there is no ICD…
Again talking fun standpoint, removing lord bannering…. Removed some of the most epic fights and the attraction people had in WvW. It’s been stated many times that people would rather have it be a down state penalty or hard cap of x revives in x time.
Timer for dead players, 5 minutes is too generous. 1:30 or bust.
I’ve had Arching Slice crit for 6-8k.
Roughly the exact same final thrust would. The only difference is PbAoE. 5 targets vs 3.

Reason, not entirely sure why everyone in the guild should have the ability to start that just seems to invite issues.
Automated Buff Queues
1) Have the ability to auto start guild buffs when one expires if one is available.
Reason, seems silly to have to be online every 12hours, sometimes life prohibits that and being a casual game you should have systems in place to support it.
Mini is best zerg detector in WvW. Works better than outmanned.
Have not had an issue AoE executing backline yet.
Then again this is from a WvW perspective. Considering you can just get straight to the back and execute people.
ouch. to be fair, the main issues (wrong zone) are just bugs.
I don’t like the changes either, but the fact is, it’s entirely possible this is what new players need. As dumb as it sounds to us, If they did usability & the data indicated these changes, then there is little we can do. There are plenty of games that have idiot tutorials because most players couldn’t figure out something simple.

Let us all remember the fatal flaw of data and stats. Data can and will be miss-interpreted. Stats are only relevant to the pool they are derived from and cannot be used to measure the whole.

lol unblockable does nothing to do with enemy’s evade. i think warrior rifle is the one getting the most nerf since kitten became real garbage.

the new light aura is downright strong. I haven’t tested it but i would love to see if powerful aura’s works with it for Ele. Seems like it could have some good results.

My name is Signet of Might. I know you may not have heard of me but i was recently changed and grant 6 seconds of unblockable attacks!

Would have been fine with either a delay or down state like penalty for lords.
Removing it entirely just pushes the experience into zerg rush with golems/map blobs.
Entirely not fun, nor does it lead to that awesome story you can share with guildmates about how you bravely ran in 1v50 and bought those precious seconds for the waypoint to open / group to push etc…
The fact that we were told people are stupid, and to compensate we are removing the idea that people can learn.
That’s what really grinds my gears. Anet has no faith in in player base. They believe everyone is so dumb they will continue to stand in the fire no matter what.
Interacting in general is wonky.
There’s also the massive skill delay going on that is beyond normal, it occurs even when no zerg is present. No this is not an issue with my machine or internet, its an issue with WvW in general.
I suggest next feature patch we get an automated mode. That plays our characters for us.

If you look at it YB is rallying their militia hard. The pre-season hype train is real. The fact that they are still running 40 deep on DR’s map is proof to that.
