Please stop lumping yourself in with the rest of us that don’t need or require more bank space.
9 level 80’s multiple gearsets on each and yet here’s my bank.
heard one for the first time today….
“I’ve never been question so much by a seraph before”
“No one expects the Serpah Inquistion!”
A+ for the hidden monty python gag.
… does more damage and should be more glassy.
Cost more to create from a monetary point.
Cost more to create from a WvW economy point.
Balanced both risk and reward.
Nothing new here. It’s been this way since silver imploded because of no real WvW changes. Enjoy your problems.
craft them up with artificer is your solution.
Would an additional UI option to use all be nice sure, just don’t go to auto consume as that punishes people who use them in crafting.
So suddenly everyone with a tag is a mesmer ?
Yeah no, god no. One of the worst conceived ideas i’ve read.
Just learn to run solo and build some confidence. Trust me you don’t lose much of anything in doing so and will actually become a better player as you’ll have to develop your own way of reading the map, scouting and fighting.
The other thing they’d better do is make sure that boon removal always prioritizes resistance.
Pretty sure aegis and stab will come first.
After that it’s a toss up. I honestly don’t feel the boon is worth stripping. Just stack your condi’s let them use is and laugh when they come out with imob/slow/fear/damage condi’s, etc…. for days.
I had a good chuckle at Condi’s not happening in PvP.
Good one.
I have filled out an entire storage guild. It is not hard. I wonder more how people who actually play the game get by without space.
Have you tried not being a Skritt ?
I mean, it’s not terribly hard to do.
Only thing i ask is that all activities be added to Guild UI’s so guilds can create and host their own in house activities.
Personally i like dragon ball and feel it actually has a fair bit of tactical depth to it that gets lost due to the hotjoin nature of the queue and it could be played better with coordinated team play.
Maybe one day anet will let us join these activities as groups so we can actually break away from the zergfest in Dragon Ball though.
Did you even read the notes for their “board meeting”.
Laughable, and no sane company would agree to half of the proposed terms.
Can we fix core gameplay issues before having another session of seasons ?
You know the glaring bugs that have been in your system for ages, things like extremely poor map design that makes breaking out even a thing and lets not forget the oh so lovely hackers that come out of the wood work and the lack of Anet attention to that.
They didnt remove everything cantha either. Infact quite the opposite several NPC’s in game are Canthan and speak of their homeland if you listen to them.
Have said person create(if not already created) the guild and invite those who want to join said guild to it.
Since each person can have 5 guilds it shouldn’t be an issue unless you’ve gone storage guild crazy.
It’s an activity….
You know groups of friends would typically play them together anyway so what’s the point complaining about it ?
IMO they should just allow parties to join anyway.
I believe the main point of keeping it random is so that the people that don’t have people to bring with the aren’t constantly rolled by premades they can never win against. Which keeps the activity accessible to everyone.
You can believe what you want. The actual problem is a system based limitation due to how they’ve set up both PvP and Activities. It’s been stated by Devs a few times now, the most recent time being Snowball Mayhem and Toypocalypse.

Im going to go for the 5 summon build, and magi amulet because RP.
amazing how many people dont take the time to read the OP….smh
It adds nothing to either PvP or PvE.
Keep it in the mist where PvP belongs.
yes it absolutely does.
its thrilling to have to do your quests and always be looking over your shoulder waiting for someone to gank you. just one example.
i realize thats not everyones cup of tea but to say it adds nothing is asinine.
I’m sorry, but what sort of meaningful content does it add again ?
12 year olds spewing profanity isn’t content, unless you’re company name is EA.
You want fun competitive PvP, there’s Heart of the Mists. You want Open World PvP, there’s WvW. Simple as that.
Adding it to the existing PvE area’s does nothing to promote or further a healthy game state. If you still cannot see that, then you have an issue. Please go check into another game that meets your quota since. Different stokes for different folks, clearly this isn’t your stroke.

Remove people from the game and let the golems play in peace. It’s better that way.
A+
Best response in thread.
Noticed them recently on Doll’s server during this match up.
Nothing fun about flying rangers, Wall hacks, and Minions in impossible locations just to name a few glaring issues.
I’ve reported what i’ve run into but honestly don’t think much is going to occur and it’s mostly down to team size for the task. Anet needs more active WvW policing and active support staff that isn’t dedicated to other task. I know its not likely to happen or change in the immediate future due to other bigger task.
I just hope they take the time to review the mess that is WvW before they drop HoT and any sort of “Season” because in its current shape there’s 0 reason for any of those to take priority.

—Second paragraph under the last image. When you train the Gliding Mastery, however, you’ll have the option to soar freely through the treetops, escape the dangers that await you on the jungle floor, use the air to your advantage in combat against certain foes, and save yourself from accidental death by slipping.
Anyway, this is the same thing as AION has, you can only use it in certain locations and for only a certain amount of time depending on your training. I was disappointed when I read that it would only be available for HoT and that it was the same thing as AION did.
Anyway, for 2 years of work, this better be one hell of a nice zone and not just a living story update with feature pack.
You’re incorporating 2 separate concepts, notice the comma. The aerial advantage comes from there being multiple parts of the map. Airships exist and give you cover, and other players can snipe for you. It has nothing to do with the gliders.
1)Lore
2) Exploration / Combat as needed to progress in the zone
The others are a luxury.
Disagree with OP.
I love my party pistol. You can have the other 99% of serious weapon skins while i enjoy my gimmick/non-traditional weapons.
Show me where it said that, you cannot fight without the combat mastery please.
I saw, combat mastery will aid you in tougher fights, not “Impossible without”.
Maybe, i’m wrong here…but i’d love to see where these assertions are coming from.
Ranger gets staff → Druid
Engineer gets hammer → Demolisher
Mesmer gets shield → Chronomancer
Necro gets greatsword → Defiler
Warrior gets pistol → Harbinger
Guardian gets Warhorn → Siren
Elementalist gets Shortbow → Arcanist
Thief gets Torch → Seekers
Guild Living Story Orator – Recreates previous temporary content for play through (instanced, limited to 5 guild members at a time, instance closes when all players leave like dungeons, previous events scaled down to be done by 5 people.)
Also allows for individuals to purchase Season 2 content directly from them as opposed to through their Hero menu.
Interactive Environment – If there is a seat, i should sit in it like a civilized person. Add some sort of contextual interact function for furniture and the like.
I dont know what the OP is on….
But Engie has a hammer, enough said. I will never swap to another weapon for combat again.
Transfers should never be as costly as buying another copy of the product.
If you see no value in your account, you might as well delete all your characters and transfer for free. The cost to transfer might be more expensive when compared to the 75% sale, but those new accounts will need to pay another $20 to buy season 2, and then there’s HoT.
If you think they (the WvW community) care about season 2 at all.
My perspective was from that of a WvW player and an very far reaching issue, that of population balance. It makes 0 sense for the majority of the players to continually dogpile onto the top 6 servers, which seem to continually have openings. Anet has a full tag for a reason and yet it seems to be neglected or grossly miss-used. See Dragonbrand during WvW season 3 (seemingly full until Anet moved the goalpost on the definition of full).
As it stands there’s a big need to for them to reconsider the price of transfers and how they can be attained as well as population distribution. To think the problems are mutually exclusive would be negligent oversight to say the least.
I think the bigger elephant in the room needs to be addressed first, and that is the absurd cost of server transfers in general.
When i look back at the game and find it cheaper to wait, and buy a new account than to buy a transfer, there’s an issue.
Transfers should never be as costly as buying another copy of the product.
Sounds like a better version of the current WvW masteries which already exist.
If Rytlock summons Snaff it will be glorious.
I hope it involves leveling the new masteries (lore, combat, flight) and actually finding pieces needed to forge the precursor.
Transfers should be cheaper than buying new accounts. The current sale price for the game would be an adequate price for server transfers.
Just my thoughts.
Makes sense to me. If they allow them then we will have a ton of level 80 players with no idea on how to play their class, who will then flood the forums with complaints that revenant is somehow “broken” since they don’t know how to play.
How is this different than the existing 8 classes again ?
Hero-tron.
Evolution is coming. Next new playable race…Golem.
Straight to 80. Unless they have some restriction that would not allow use of tomes / scrolls.
They could in theory do the GW missing loot thing, but that doesn’t solve the whole problem.
Would be nice for them to at least try that in a smaller scale environment like WvW. If its successful they can add it to more maps.
There’s a simple solution.
Imagine a system where players could gradually over time acquire the parts needed to craft a precursor. That crafted precursor and all of its component parts would be account bound. Additionally any legendary created with said precursors would automatically be account bound.
Now you have both a method for playing and attaining and getting lucky without ruining the merits or ability of either.
Reading far too much into it.
If factions do return to Guild Wars expect the systems to be the same as Factions (the expansion). If any sort of PvP were to be added expect it to be in the similar to WvW or GvG’s (guild wars) not Open World PvP.
You can portal from inner bay north to outer north.
But since you’re asking if there’s a way to manipulate this games poor map design the answer is yes. There’s quite a few “breakout/void” spots in WvW that can be abused/exploited.
Threatened by the lack of communication ?
oh look this thread again.
I’m sure it will be met with the same 6 people for the idea and the remainder against with nothing productive coming out of it.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/List-of-Common-Controversial-Forum-Topics/first
Now that you’ve given them the idea, it will be though.
People have already data mined maps that look like GvG maps. So the whole notion of the CDI being meaningful is really just more to gauge interest and see what rule structure if any will work so that people still play both WvW and GvG.
100% will not make another character.
The changes to the trait system are so asinine and should have never occurred.
They should give all players core traits and only have you “hunt” for new/future trait releases.
But this has been said to death. Maybe one day, they will fix it, just like one day we will have meaningful WvW updates.
PvP not really needed to change
PvE – We’ve already seen changes to encounters that reward Condi damage
WvW – not really. Large scale condi’s become less useful. Small scale they still shine.
