I don’t care about macro’s 1 way or the other.
It’s not about pride, it’s about the music. When i play music it’s not for me, but for the people around me. It’s no different for those people who use macro’s.
Also, it’s a game. It’s not like this game is your lively hood. You’re not losing out on anything by playing by hand. If anything you’re offering something that is increasing in rarity, an actual live performance which believe it or not most people enjoy more than the macro’s which are painfully obvious.
I’ve personally had 0 drop.

How to make WvW more rewarding:
1. Remove Badge of Honor rewards from Edge of the Mist
2. Make Badges of Honor worth something.
You forgot remove Wxp from EoTM, Reduce Karma and Gold Gain in EoTM.
Increase Gold and Karma gain in WvW by 25%.
Change current Wxp rewards to have a guaranteed rare or better reward every (x) levels.
Dungeons, Fractals, sPvP, and WvW are pretty much the only times i party unless im being a taxi for guild missions.
Never once had an issue for credit for world events so never saw the point of partying there.

However, i can overlook (HUE) the issues here as it’s giving me as a player more avenues to be creative in this game. Something it was in desperate need of (a Machinma community) can now thrive. Landscapers and others people who want to take dramatic screenshots can now do so much easier.

Wvw Gear needs an unlimited version that can be used on only wvw gear maybe, or they could just let wvw gear be salvaged.
While Dungeon runners and Crafters can easily salvage their runes as they upgrade gear or change specs WvW players are forced to permanently lose runes by slotting them sans this item. Which is sad as because wvw has the most viable gear choices where as most pve players agree its Zerker or go home.

And why not make rewards based on individual progress to actually earn content related rewards like siege and stuff

I’d hope they play to kill others as that is part of sieging. There’s 0 siege needed when no one defends.
What i’m absolutely not keen on is the over reliance of a poor scoring and performance mechanic that is easily abused and only dissuades actual fun gameplay for zerg balling and AC spam.
But to each their own.
Maybe one day any of the numerous scoring critiques will actually be taken seriously and revised and put into the game as a trial similar to what they did with PPK.
Focusing on the “fastest way to level” is the best way to ruin the game for yourself.
Fast leveling means we get through the crappy NPE quickly which actually ruins the game experience for most of us…

That’s still probably inaccurate, although I don’t have the data to back it up.
For what it’s worth, among people with whom I’ve discussed the NPE, everyone wishes it was the original system, especially since the gating goes away quickly and the rewards are much better. (That said, people are very unhappy with trait unlocks, which pre-dated the NPE and dislike the hack/slash changes to the personal story — and fortunately the latter is going to be fixed soon.)
The only good change to the NPE was the bonus rewards. Everything else including gating skills and access to class mechanics is bad. Traits were just icing on the bad cake.
It’s 2015, can we just delete PPT entirely and get back to killing people instead of structures ?

Self rooting melee skills is for the high risk and high reward which is needed for skill based games.
Meanwhile “Rapid Fire” exist and is basically a mobile, ranged version of Hundred Blades.

It is also much weaker, and can be reflected.
Also, remember, that not every weapon is meant for every gameplay mode. Warrior hammers, for example, are next to useless in PvE. 100b is primarily a PvE-balanced skill.

Can be reflected, HB can be blocked, blinded, dodged etc…Counters exist in the game, but that does not justify skills being absurd and having no sense of balance.

And this idea does nothing but prolong the fights. Doing so only incentivizes people from even doing said content as its not worth the time for the reward you get out of it. Not only does it prolong fights, it places and erroneous burden onto melee players in that most of the attacks in the game that mobs have and control players with have a shorter cooldown than any stunbreaker/stab.
So unless you want to go back 1 1/2 years to the old fractal meta of rotating aegis on guardians i’d rethink this whole concept.

If you’re playing solely for the daily there’s faster ways to get it.

The complaint is about dailies. There’s literally 11 other options for them. There’s no requisite that say you need to do 3 PvP exclusive dailies.
They should go do any of the other dailies or simply swap professions as this really is a non-issue.

I don’t care either. I really don’t like that we get spvp advertisement in the forums, in the game, everywhere. I don’t remmember getting the same treatment for pve or wvw events.

Hard to disagree with original post except in one regard, Adjured really never had a prayer of winning, Seriously 4 games lost, one of which by 300+ points to a team that was obviously better.

thats why all of the first 3 games were won by oRNG by late game come backs, some of which were very large come backs.
I have to agree, there were some very obvious mistakes made that even a PvP newb can see on stream. Like reinforcing a losing teamfight instead of taking the free caps. The greed and bloodlust was real, the objective gameplay was lost on stage and it was pretty clear whoever was shot calling goofed.

I don’t think anyone countered the Abjured so much as the Abjured as a team made some bad calls in the match that when they go back and watch they will be able to learn from.
As others have said, select the EU/Europe option on the website, and choose wisely. There is a reason the servers in T1 are in T1, very competitive and “elitest” if you may. I suggest going for the 5-10 range if you plan on playing during peak hours.
T1 isn’t competitive. It’s artificial and fixed. Everything is done with keeping the same current 3 servers in the match-up. T1 and skill being used in the same sentence is also extremely laughable. T1 is far and away the epitome of zergball tactics and not skilled gameplay.
allowing the ranger pet to fully heal the ranger (btw what other downed skill allowes you to do that? – it’s utter garbage).
Rangers are bad, and therefore spend most of their time in downstate, that’s why they get the best skills.

The only thing that broke those matchups were some bad calls and untimely wipes. either Orange Logo or Abjured could have won.
That means should nothing change roster wise it will be interesting to see what all happens. Though i may be slightly biased and be hoping for another upset to happen next tournament.

There’s a really simple solution to this problem.
Get 4 friends, play pvp as a group.
Have not had this issue while PvP’ing ever while doing the above.
Traits im speaking of are:
Shadows Rejuvenation : This traits resets the thieves Healthbar in a matter of a few seconds while in stealth.
It is for me the counterpart to the notorious PU trait from the Mesmer before the nerf.
I dont understand how you can nerf PU but dont nerf Shadows Rejuvenation.Last Refuge : This trait prevents thieves at 25% health from dieing. I know there are many thieves that actually hate this trait cause it stealthes without control but in my experience 80% of the thieves in WvW survive only cause of this trait. They engage, nearly die, get automatically stealthed by this trait and escape. It doesnt matter how many mistakes thieves do, with this trait equiped they will always escape or be able to reset and join the fight again.
Since it is an AoE stealth all the thieves around get stealthed too.In Stronghold we will be able to stealth “important” npcs too, so this effect gets even stronger and will probably be omnipresent. I dont even want to imagine how a stronghold game would look like with the current state of traits to be honest.

Both of those things you mention can be countered. Believe it or not you can hit what you can’t see.
Just because a tanky support is doing it’s job is not cause for nerf now.

I’ve never complained about building siege in open field fight. I’m only pointing to the fact that CD does build siege before the fight. Not every time. And the guy who talked about it probably wanted to troll you. lol. Because it is funny that 40 men zerg building siege against 20 men in open field fight.
You can screenshot of Kaineng building 4 balistas to defend the camp. I would love to see it. I don’t see there’s anything wrong with it anyway. I would ask those guys why not AC behind the balista.
Again not once has CD built open field siege on your borderland.
It’s okay though, i can see coming in here with good intentions praising some of your groups was wrong as the majority of your server seems to have a defeatist attitude and will exaggerate till they are blue in the face.

i laugh mostly because those “really good fights” are 5-10 vs. 40+, in which cd usually loses after wasting all their supply building open-field siege and having no walls to hide behind. on the flip side, i once retreated into my own tower for safety from a monstrous blob from cd, and had members of that server build an ac outside and zoom hack to try to kill me on the inside
it’s really hard not to laugh
ps, please attack kaineng’s garrison with 40+ omega’s again(with only 7 defenders), i greatly enjoyed making you wasted hundreds of gold with a single (non-superior)balista

WvW rank up rewards need to be fixed in general
Who wants a random chance for 2 blues, 2 greens, the occassional rare and the stupidly low chance exotic, ascended (anything but trinkets).
There really should be a sense of progression
every x level should be the junk items
every x+5 should be a guaranteed rare or better
Anything to that effect, and yes greatly increase the gold from leveling to atleast incentivize playing the map so people can earn gold while upgrading their stuff and not feel punished for doing so even if it should be lost.

I’m no fortune teller, but that combined with the AI consultant and the person(s) they’ve hired specifically for raids suggest yes, at some time, when its ready.
