It will hinder small group objective pushing more than using siege ever will.
The only mechanics change i have an issue with is adrenaline instantly decaying out of combat. I feel yes it needs to change, but there needs to be a happy medium between instantly and what it was.
Other than that i can live with all the visible changes to warrior they’ve shown on the ready up.

Competitive Week → Changing from coverage wars weekly to daily. Resetting the running total during the week or just averaging it out.
Fresh start → Resetting WvW rank points, new WvW trait point system, new trait paths

use it in wvw on a theif w/mercy runes and Resilience of Shadows trait. Congrats you can now revive anyone even in the middle of a zerg fight.

FGS is an elite skill with 120 seconds of downtime on a class with light armor and low base HP. Nice try, but hardly a valid comparison.
Oh really you dont say, remind me which class has the 900 range blink, the 66%movement speed increase and invulnerability as well as RTL and BS… yep. Want to talk about abusive mobility Ele, Thieves are the king of it. They are just too busy QQ’ing here to realize it.

You really shouldn’t run them in organized large group. They can fit in 20v20 as gank with their condi pressure or as a single target nuke with Rifle SD builds but realistically that only works if the enemy is already preoccupied and isnt boon sponging. Would be nice if engies had a boon strip or conversion outside of elixirs and mine…but that’s not going to happen any time soon.
Lot’s of guilds run engis in 20v20 as frontline w/ bombs. Never heard of any in a gank.
They work better as a gank than a front line imo. The have immense single target lockdown, to have them as a frontline with bombs is rather silly when they have rather limited stability and stun breaks.

Kill shot is perfectly fine.
It’s something i pull out from time to time to troll in EBG where the sudden loss of a pugmander / driver can do wonders for moral.
All this will do is promote never being on your BL especially with the 90s waypoint timer.

Yep. DBZ had plenty of plot growth. Hardly in story progression occurred during that episode. All you did was run errands for a few people.
Fetch parts for Taimi. Fetch pieces of a crown for Rytlock. Do an event chain for Braham and Eir. This consisted most of the episode.
Your analysis of this episode sounds very bitter and jaded. Maybe if you actually didnt come into it with the glass half empty approach you could actually appreciate the fact that the following things happened between all of what you listed….
Eir and Braham are on civil speaking terms and are sharing a significant bonding moment. Something they have not had since Braham decided to leave and be his own man.
Rytlock has decided to end the plight of the Ascalonians and in doing so has pathed the way for Rox to be her own woman and lead where he cannot.
Taimi has managed to create a new tool to reduce the amount of magic required for waypoints to function, serving two fold in halting Mordremoth’s feasting leaving him weakened but also providing the universe with more reliable waypoints.
And to top it off we have a world first. The prospective leaders of each race convening for a summit.
If that is not story growth and plot progression then i don’t know what else to tell you.
Maybe you should stick to DBZ if all you can get behind is the tournament style battle royal next villain mentality.
I would be amused more if they just had a weekly rundown of what they are actively doing posted here.
Not like specifics but an outline for what each team has on their plates and what topics have a priority. Kinda like CDI but less collaborative and more informative.

after dragons reach pt2 the living world will be on hiatus. Expect a potential feature patch / holiday / additional non-story related content for the following 2-3 months.
You can dream that they will eventually make it so that if you are dead, you are automatically re-directed to spawn or forced to choose a waypoint.
The rate is plenty fine. If you have alts and have no care as to what you are doing.
You can even just port into WvW for quick access to a bank to store or TP to vend it for no waypoint cost.
There will be some, but they will be few and far between.
At the end of the day it will come down to the player/group synergy and GvG size.
I wouldn’t expect to see them in anything smaller than 15v

Optional steps:
Convert the Tokens into Weapons → Mystic Toliet
If dungeon above level 70 Convert the tokens into Rare Armor(yellow) → Salvage → Sell Ecto/Save if needed still
Or just wait until whatever method for precursor crafting comes out if it ever does.
Why would anet waste development time on something that is going to devolve into massive Zergs playing ring around the rosy for XP and Loot doing everything in their power to avoid fights?
There is plenty of content there already, but noone willing to use it the way its meant to be used

Why would ANet prioritize those very same issues in PvE but not in WvW ?
I do find the utter lack of communication and silence rather sad.
PvE and PvP both have showcases on twitch and far more active people across their respective forums.
The fact that the Lead cannot or will not talk out of “fear of disappointing players” is rather sad. It may be a no win scenario in his mind, but there is something to be said about public relations and maintaining a happy community and player base.
That said, given previous actions i don’t think anything will change, that’s why they’ve all but shunned any WvW community movements onto other forums.

Join a guild.
Most guilds that are around wont force you to speed run or learn all the exploits to do dungeons. Heck some people actually prefer psuedo-vanquishing dungeons.
Hint Hint Anet >_> bring back Vanquishing.
Not trying to start any PvF here, but we know you still have guilds and groups, it would be nice if they came off EBG
And this right here leads me to believe that you’re running around in a guild group complaining that pugs are pugs >.>
Was running with [CORE] last night, about 15-20 went to try to take your bay, made it to the lord room then about 60+ CD responded, including a few guild groups. Cant blame anyone for going to EBG for a more even fight.
I saw what core attempted. I say good on them. The only reason you saw those numbers was because we had scouts panic and call out EBG. The 10 of us there defending initially did not ask for that in the least. We weren’t happy about it.
Sucks to have him but i dont see you losing it any time soon in the match up.
We could all afk and still win the match with the way the servers we face both currently play.
Still annoying to deal with though.
The way we currently play has nothing to do with facing down numbers 3-4x ours and heavy coverage at all hours of the day that we simply don’t have.
Go back to T3 already, this is boring.
We’re equally as bored, but you all could atleast stop hiding in towers. Would make it more fun for everyone
When I’m out solo running supply or checking camps and I see a red tide of 40 CD suddenly headed my way, you can be kitten well sure I’m going to be the first one on an AC in the nearest tower. 40v1? That sure as hell ain’t fun for me! Maybe you get a rise out of overwhelming odds, but those people “hiding in towers” are likely the only players we have in the map and they’re desperately trying to save maybe one, just one tower from the CD tide that has randomly decided to roll in to hit the reset button on our Borderlands because why the hell not, you can throw 80 people in our map and still have enough to defend yours, attack the other BL, and cap and hold SMC at the same time.
50 of you: “Come out and fight! Stop hiding behind siege!”
1 of 3 people: “Are we the only ones in the map?”
A second of 3 people: “Yeah, I think so. Hey, anyone else around? We’ve got about 40-50 CD at ne tower, probably inc to garri”
*crickets *
All 3 of us: “Welp, back to our arrow carts.”
We rarely have 50 people on a map in one go, let alone in the same area. I mean i get it you feel out manned. However, there has been times when its 15v15 in an open field and either server will just retreat to a tower sit under their excessive siege and pretend that’s something fun.

can someone explain simply whats the trailer is about for non-lore junkies?
The only lore related part is the end with Rytlock removing the curse of the Foefire from Ascalon. To quickly put it in perspetive: King Adelbern used his sword Magdaer to annihilate the invading Charr which cused his people to be turned into Ghosts eternally fighting the invaders of Ascalon until the curse is lifted. Legends state that to lift the curse the rightful king of ascalon must do so wielding either Magdaer or the sister sword Sohothin (which Rytlock currently wields and we don’t know how he got it).
You get in in AC story. Eir gives it back to him.

Anet owns its own servers, but the connection still go through the datacenters set up by NCsoft in Dallas (i think).
Would explain why every time he takes down Wildstar, that GW2 either gets increasingly laggier, or down completely as well.
Again goes to the point, why would you route 2 games through the same datacenter. It just makes you have 0 products online and a ton of angry players.

Actually the bug is reproduced by having her get struck/put in combat as she starts her monologue.
As stated above wont happen if you clear trash instead of running past it.
Once it does occur though your only option is to restart your run. Waypointing and Wiping wont fix it.
Dont forget the NPC near the Lion Statue in Lions Arch uses old currency. It’s possible they will add rewards to be spent there.
If you read the notes in Scarlets Lair it mentions having mobile waypoints…could be a sign of things to come in the near future.

Thanks for the input guys. Please don’t let this get personal. I think we can all appreciate Nageth’s point that jumping and a 3rd dimension are part of GW2. But we can also see Spoofy’s point (and mine) that jumping has not been(and IMO shouldn’t be) required for progression in a mainstream part of the game like Living Story. Until now.
It’s not required. You can just sit back and wait for your recap while you refuse to learn to do content.
It is pretty sad that this is going to be turned into another Mad Kings Clocktower where people who cannot complain until Anet changes it and even post change you still wont do it. It has nothing to deal with the games progress and everything with not wanting to adapt.

Hmm, then why during the Boss Blitz do the last few bosses become impossible as players just give up and wander off and you’re left with only 2-3 players even attempting it anymore? Shouldn’t it scale back down to a small group threat at that point?
Hit all 6 at once and they don’t scale up the same way.
While this is true, it cannot be stated enough that the scaling during the current alteration of the Queens Pavillion is pretty awful.
Some bosses can be done with 3 people others cannot even be remotely attempted without 10. There’s no good safe spot and due to this the scaling goes through the roof.
Would be nice if there was an indicator on the boss to show just how much it’s scaled. Even if its just a color coded arrow.

Their damage out is right up there with Ele if played properly and not handled quickly.
It segregates those of us who enjoy all aspects of the game by forcing us to chose 1 specific server type.
That’s just nonsense. It doesn’t bring the community together and all it does is actively crush the legitimate fun in WvW and encourage T1 levels of blobbing and coverage. Which is specifically why many people move off those servers.
When you buy the game you have to choose a server so the 1st thing you said have no meaning, this way you can change server easily by joining a different guild.
The equivocation here is strong.
At launch all servers were able to be chosen and all offer the same experience.
What you want to do is force people into playing specific servers by game type.
Do you not see the difference ?
Do you not grasp the fact that many guilds have players that play across multiple gameplay modes ?
I mean really…It’s not a hard concept to grasp. You want to remove freedom of choice which will only agitate many players. Not to mention crush many server based communities.
