But uh, yeah, I have a few personal survivability / bunkering reductions to target Bunker Chronomancers only.
- Well of Precognition becoming Distortion instead of Blur. This puts it in the invulnerability category, but reducing some counterplay such as warding effects, shocking auras.
- Temporal Enchanter (resistance and super speed) changed to only affect nearby allies.
- Mender’s Purity – 10 second ICD on Power Cleanse, like other ‘on heal’ minors.
In addition I find Countless’ suggestion on Chaotic Dampening I think is very reasonable.
Reducing the Bunker Mesmer’s personal 1vX survival back down to Earth while keeping their amazing utility and support throughout all game modes would be the best balance measure decision.
Yeah, Man. I walked into camp one day after a long and difficult quest and there you two were doing the dirty as per my screen-shot. I’ve never before felt so betrayed in my life. I don’t think I can ever trust another witch again, and I’ll probably romance Leliana instead on my next play-through and completely ignore Morrigan altogether (that kitten).
Anyway, I find your suggestions to be very agreeable as someone currently playing Bunker Mesmer except I think that Countless’ suggestion should at least be implemented in that it reflects the duration of Elemental Shielding if implemented. In the first place, the Mesmer variant is a master trait whereas the Elementalist variant is a minor trait.
The utility on Chronomancer is a good thing, the thing that’s needing to go is how the highest utility class ever, gets the highest time to kill 1vX of anything, without any kiting involved.
The nerfs in my perfect world still allow Mesmer to support as insane as it does, but not be the most immovable object. Support over hardcore meat shield

I just dueled a viper rev on my AoE shout tune cleanse warhorn build (no diamond skin) and we basically stalled. I kept cleansing his condis, but I couldn’t do enough damage to get him below 30%

If Defiant Stance doesn’t convert incoming condition damage to healing, then that’s something new. I used to play around with an all-stance build for hotjoin dailies, and it definitely healed incoming condition damage back then.

I’m more concerned with the high sustain that comes with that type of damage. High damage is fine by me as long as it’s high risk. Unfortunately, Revs get both.

Simple solution: You have 30seconds to accept the match queue now before dishonour applies. If you cannot respond to the queue and was preoccupied then simply don’t queue yet.
Considering you didn’t answer the request for 3 times and were AFK, why did you bother seeking for a PvP match in the first place? That’s potentially 27 other people who had to wait for you. Not nice.

Alright, let’s go at it again. Without Healing Power, considering no one runs HP on a Revenant, the Mallyx heal heals for 4600 base up to 6388 with 3 conditions on you. The Shiro heal heals you for 6488 over time while also doing damage. It is not a bursty heal, but it is our best heal outside of the situational Infuse Light.

I personally like the top Elite Specializations how they are for the most part (Tempest should be able to swap attunements while overloading, however, like they can with any other skill activation they have). That said, I feel that the others are really underperforming. I feel really bad for core Thief and Warrior players in particular and hope ArenaNet decides to show them some love.

Warhorn is entirely underwhelming in everything it does. Besides buffing that, my biggest pet peeve is that swapping attunements while overloading cancels the overload. I can cast Churning Earth while swapping attunements; I should be able to overload while doing so.

A 7% to 14% increase in critical damage will never be more important to me than an “OH KITTEN” proc in PvP. I’d absolutely definitely take Blood Reaction in PvE for sure, though.

Few changes could improve the usability of this weapon:
- Reduce the cost of Shackling Wave to 5 energy, and allow this skill to be used without a target.
- Increase the attack range of Grasping Shadow to 170.
I would also like Shackling Wave to have the same range as Precision Strike.
I can’t agree with Blood Reaction over Dead or Alive.
Also looks like there’s going to be an Exalted mail courier besides golden feather wings.
Interestingly the price of HoT in China is 10 Yuan higher than when the original game was released, 98 vs 88. The deluxe edition, similar to ours is 198 Yuan.

Thing with Berserker in sPvP and WvW is.. its too slow a start, it needs to build up 3 bars of Adrenaline before it can start things off.. pre-Berserk mode it’s sub-par.. post-Berserk mode, you’re not OP enough to make up for the difference.. Also you sacrifice something for it.. since Warrior was pretty much defined with Defense and Discipline locked into traits.. and stances into the skill bar. missing one of these gimps Warrior’s combat ability by a large margin.
I think this has been cited by multiple people already.. I think a great solution would be to gate Berserk mode duration to Adrenaline Bar ex. going berserk on 1 bar of Adrenaline will give you 5 seconds in Berserk mode, 10 seconds for 2 bars and 15 seconds for 3 bars.. and well ADD MORE DAMAGE. =p
That’ll make it more viable.. MORE DAMAGE makes Warrior viable.. =D
I agree with most of everything you said. The bit I’m concerned about is the damage. If you mean buffing certain Berserker-related skills so that they aren’t a loss of DPS, then I agree. Otherwise, I feel that the trait modifiers are in a really good spot right now.

While I miss the damage its a change for the better. Having a pet lay down a smoke field willy nilly would be another reason for people to shun rangers for.
I completely agree. One of my guildmates mains a Ranger and now I don’t have to set my status to offline whenever he logs on to run dungeons and Fractals of the Mists anymore.

It probably should be, given the built-in evasion. Higher risk should always equal higher reward. Unrelenting Assault is low risk, high reward at the moment.
I could accept that if they don’t touch Revenant’s overall DPS in any other way.

I know! It’s great! because it allows you to F3 and F1 in order to reset back to the smoke assault priority! Which allows for good burst control when the smoke scale has been out for awhile.

Please, elaborate how? There might be a very VERY tight niche for stack and dps meta? I can’t see how this can be traduced to “big for pve”; it still sucks compared to core warrior.
Berserker is an undeniable DPS gain over Arms in properly organized groups for Dungeons and Fractals of the Mists. Why exactly do you need someone to elaborate on how +damage% modifiers work? There isn’t even any algebra or above involved here.

Your math is wrong, but in a good way. Damage-percent increases are multiplicative rather than additive meaning that you actually get more out of them than you think!
This is very good for Warriors in PvE!
If you’re not swapping between legends at recharge or near after recharge, you’re not maximizing your DPS. Properly resetting Facet of Nature by running down your energy instead of by activating One with Nature allows you to reapply Facet of Nature every time you swap to Legendary Dragon Stance and thus maintain all of your applied boons on self and party even when you’re swapped to Legendary Assassin Stance or Legendary Demon Stance for 10 seconds when done properly.

I’m guessing you’re looking at Obal’s post a few replies above, but bear in mind that he made that post over a month ago, prior to the most recent round of DH buffs (such as the 7%/13% boost on Pure of Sight, the 20% boost + Fury for Procession of Blades, and so on). More recently, he’s edited the original posts with the DH “Bowbear Hunter” as the best general DPS spec for Guardian right now.
I made the post above before the changes were made to make it good. It is a dps gain. It’s also not an annoyance like retribution and radiant fire were. That’s a big plus. I have dps charts in the beginning of the video. The DH builds will go down a little though once I finalized them again since that was before the trap got a higher cd.
