The thing about Glint is that the Forgotten used a special ritual to cleanse her corruption (which is proven in Arah path 3 when you cleanse an undead chicken’s corruption from Zhaitan and it becomes friendly). Ventari’s tablet was just sitting there. It’s not like the Sylvari woke up, read it and said “wow I’m not working for Modremoth anymore”. There would have to be a hell of a lore more than that to break a dragon’s corruption.
Thieves are actually quite balanced. They have low access to stunbreaks so they have to prevent getting CC’ed in the first place.
What need to be changed about thieves is:
- BP + HS shouldn’t allow stealth stacking.
- Damage needs to be toned down a bit./edit: Yes, i’m playing thief atm (but P/D condi).
Wut? Thiefs lacking stunbreaks? S/D thieves move around the battlefield like a bunch of butterflies on crack. Stun him and he just shadowsteps away and then instantly re-engages.
AoE Stability on pet swap would be a massive buff but honestly you and I both know that would be a grandmaster trait.
Engi has a vigor on crit trait?
There’s an external program that disables the zoom out limit. They’re probably using it.

Yes it does. Attunements have a 9sec cd if you go 30 in Arcana so you’d be 1 second early if you tried proccing the sigil.
My female Norn engi has a weird dark outlines on the knees with the chest piece, it’s also on the back. I’m not sure if it is because I’m too tall? or it is just the female Norn.
Oh I’m not the only one, I thought it was my tattoo but then I realized that my tattoo only gets part of the face, armors and stomach/back areas. Nothing on the legs so I don’t know what that black outline is.

I’d like to see a sigil to add chill on crit hit (2s icd, 5s duration)
I wouldn’t get your hopes up too high, seeing as this type of sigil already exists in the game, and its duration/ICD don’t allow for permachill. Personally, I think that’s a good thing.
Actually I’ve been hit by this thing in spvp and I feel like it doesn’t have an internal cooldown even though it says so.
Nevermind, it does. So how in the world was this mesmer constantly applying chill on me whenever he pewpewed me with the greatsword.

Would it be the same for Regen sources? Like our Healing Spring, would that regen use our value or the recipients?
Healing Spring would use our value because we are the ones that placed it down. It belongs to us. On the other hand the boons/conditions applied from spirits are procced from other people because it is a buff given to them, we don’t directly influence it other than summoning the spirit.

That was concept art for Rox most likely done before her in-game appearance was finalized. It makes sense that it looks different. Braham looked very different in his concept art as well.
But she has a finalized appearance now, so current art should reflect her in-game look accurately. Braham’s does, looking at the QJ art that looks just like Braham. But Rox’s (if that is indeed supposed to be Rox) is pretty different. Which is strange.

Ground target dragon’s tooth is a dumb idea. It’s already hard enough to hit on someone that has half a brain, making it ground target would require you to lead it to where the enemy would be running which is what phoenix is for. Dragon’s tooth just wouldn’t work as a ground target skill, look at the staff’s #2 water skill.
I would say do general boon duration instead of specifically stacking might simply because the other boons are incredibly helpful (swiftness for faster positioning, might obviously, vigor, regen, etc.)

Seems like male characters are getting shafted for armor dyes. Order of Whispers armor for males also has a section that can’t be dyed.
All 3 paths (or 4 depending on the dungeon) will give 60 tokens each for the FIRST RUN of the day until it resets. (resets happen at the same time as the daily reset).
Any more runs after that 60 token daily will give you 20, 10, or 5 depending on how fast you run it and how many times you do it.
All of this is per character, not account so doing, for example, path 1-3 on Crucible of Eternity on one character will give you 60 tokens each. Doing paths 1-3 on CoE yet again but on a different character will give you another 60 tokens each. Any runs after that on those 2 characters will give you 20 tokens or lower.

It’s to keep players from moving and scavenging before the match starts. It is a bug however that it started you with that debuff even after the match was underway.
Well I tested it with dagger 1 and it indeed produces the same effect.

Skale Venom is a 10 min. consumable that has a 10% chance to apply weakness and vulnerability for 5 seconds on hit. The problem with skale venom is any skills that return your attack back to you have a chance of affecting yourself. For example (this is where I first started noticing it), when I use the elementalist’s phoenix skill. When the phoenix returns to me sometimes I’ll get weakness and vulnerability.
I haven’t tested dagger 1 in water attunement but I assume it would give the same effect.
A blind everytime it hits would be a little OP…
They don’t Procreate. Sylvari are grown in pods by the Pale tree.
as for ‘mating’ one assumes that if they did that some sort of sap would be present.
But noting that it’s largely irrelevant to the average sylvari whether thier ‘partner’ is male or female, I would suggest that they dont… mate. not physically anyway. more emotional bonding.
Anet has already said that Sylvari can have physical sex. Since they don’t have the ability to reproduce they don’t care what they have sex with. Frisky devils.
There’s also a bug where if you’re holding the crystal and die and then immediately respawn (like hit the waypoint button as soon as you die) you will respawn with a crystal in your hand and 2 will be on the field.
Rangers have the same trait as an Adept Minor trait. They spend 5 points and get it without having to choose it, we spend 30 and have to blow a Grandmaster on it.
It’s little things like that, that make it seem like they ran short of ideas when it came to us.

Dhuumfire is a grandmaster trait because of the sheer amount of conditions a necromancer can already apply. Engis can apply conditions a lot too but they can’t stack 20 stacks of bleed like a necro can. Engis rely more on burning than a necro does so that’s why it’s an adept trait for us.
Torment comes from the ghost’s #3 skill. The beacon trap or something like that.
That’s not what he was asking Aneirin. He was asking that the fruit of the pale tree (the ones Sylvari are born from) are supposed to be gold but when you start as a Sylvari the fruit above you are greenish blue.
I definitely get it every once in a while on RTL but I get it constantly on Rocket Boots. The solution i found is to switch to a kit while using rocket boots and then switch to something else just as you land (whether you switch to your weapon set or another kit).

That sounds more like a hammer control warrior you fought, not a gaurdian. Hammer warriors are notorious in spvp for their stunlocks.

I get this issue only when I use rocketboots and hit a wall or some object that impedes my movement forwards.
It’s not terrible design. It’s to keep people from spamming multiple skills in and out of water. It was like when we could heal above land and then go underwater and use our medkit heal as well (which was fixed)
For example imagine of elementalists could use mist form underwater, then go above land and use mistform again. Why the hell would they allow that…

You can only open up each one on the map once a day (so once you know you’ve gotten every single one on the map, switch to a different zone).
And as the above user said, little black and white basket icons in every zone except cities and Orr (and most likely Southsun too)
That won’t work.
The blast finisher STARTS where you stand and ends where you land (lol rhyme). If I were to use rocket boots and land inside of a combo field it wouldn’t do anything because the initial thrust if the blast finisher.
Welp nevermind, I tested it and it worked.

You can also use regeneration boosters. Right now its the only viable way of beating adnul…
People are acting as if these “politics” will be as complex as they are in real life. Heads up, they won’t. Stop acting as if Anet is forcing you to learn about politics.
Necros are being viewed as OP because they have FAR too much condition pressure right now. If I run into a good conditionmancer I might as well just /sit because I’m not going to be able to remove all of those conditions (and even if I try lol fear)
All of the living stories are presumably after the defeat of Zhaitan.
What I found funny though was that when I clicked on Deposit collectibles all PvP skins and glory boosters got deposited as well (most probably to PvP locker). Never tried this before but is it normal? :/
Yes pvp armors and glory boosters are considered collectibles.
More people need to know about this instead of thinking that they waste space…
