Or double champ for 7 player only..
Not walking to minister’s chamber and after the relog she don’t talk after finding the 3rd device
Most of skills have pre or after execution animation. You just can’t avoid it using hands fast enough. As a thief you can use 3 skills in 1 sec like
1) throw dagger
2) while that dagger flies to enemy press heart seeker / dodge / vault etc
3) press F1You have 3 skills executed almost together.
But i see thieves that use 5-6 skills in same time like
4) backstab (has cast animation)
5) smoke (pistol-5) (has cast/after_cast animation)
6) autoattacks (every auto has animation)You look at it and say “cheater” they answer “i just smashed buttons cry salty noob”. I see same people here who defend “good keybinds” and ignore game mechanics.
P.S. DH traps have cast animation too, you just can’t place 4 traps in less than 1-2 seconds.
I think it’s pretty clear you just don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re making complaints that simply follow no logical sense of reality, sorry.
Sure. Can you show me your “skill”? How can you execute 5 skills i less than 1 second?
Uh…By finding 5 skills that are instant or have cast times+aftercasts that add up to less than 1 second and using them all at once?
Not random skills. You (thief) kill a person (lets say another thief) in 1 second using 5-6 skills (your choice). Post video here.
Here you go, a video of a thief alphaing people in under a second.
I don’t think he want to see a 2012 video..
Something like stepping in a light or fire field apply 3s Revealed should work?
I think that allowing stealthed player to cap/decap will bring a mass Revealed distrubution among all classes.
-A system where you don’t have to win 50 fights in a row to achieve something
-More control and prevention for match manipulation (like disable whisper to an enemy member and mails while in pvp to prevent corruption)
-Block char swap after the match starts, if someone go to character select and relog to save time after a death should relog at 1000+ foot midair, die and wait the respawn. If a different character is selected after the match starts should spawn with deserter.
-5 man queue back and fair match:
1penta vs 1penta.. if none in 5 min:
1penta vs 1quadra+1single.. if none in 10 min:
1penta vs 1triple+1double.. if none in 15 min:
1penta vs 2double+1single.. if none in 20 min:
1penta vs 1double+3single.. if none in 30 min:
1penta vs 5single.
5) Reduce the effectiveness of instant cast skills. Ele scepter air #2 is weak so that would be fine, but things like reaper shouts or GM spite trait that casts axe 3, steal, smite are not okay. I’m not necessarily saying give them a cast time, but a nerf in any way should suffice. Suggestions #4 and #5 will simultaneously improve ease of spectating with less “random stuff” going on as well as decreasing the amount of skills/traits with zero counterplay.
Are you seriously comparing weapons skill with utility, traits and profession’s mechanics?
If you compare your scepter air #2 with steal’s damage [trained]:
Scepter: 426 damage on 5 sec CD
Steal: 399 damage on 30 sec CD, 20,75 sec CD [trained]
so.. lol, if they add a casting time to steal I hope they make it to steal target’s gold.
I camp greatsword and play axe for ranged and trash fight.. to stack my warhorn’s sigil of cuelty
6 win 2 lose, isn’t very strong but still funny
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Policy-3rd-Party-Programs-Multi-Boxing-Macros
edit:
" Macros
Guild Wars 2 players are permitted to use macros as long as the macros are programmed with a 1 key for 1 function protocol.
This means that if you program a macro, it must require one keystroke per action. You may not program a single key to perform multiple functions.
For example, if you Press A and it results in the casting of a single skill, you’re ok. If you Press A and it casts multiple spells, you’re not ok.
You cannot program a macro to perform the same or multiple actions on more than one account at a time.
You cannot program an “auto-clicker” macro that, for instance, opens chests while you play elsewhere. "

I am planning to roll an elementalist.
I want to play in Earth to pressure with bleeding and then switch to Fire and burst down with five free crits, bonus ferocity, and fire damage.
Could this build work in unranked?
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vFAQJArYnMIC9Mg1MAeOA8RglNAb4BEAKgFpxdQNwdv+XPsA-TJhAQBSsMAGOBAwY/BA8AAAA
This is my open world build, it’s fantastic in ember bay.
I usually take the golem for trash fights and lich for champion fights, you can have a lot of minion and when they die you can mass poison everything with epidemic
Necromancer Asura, cause we want build a minions/golem army
To not select 16 times berserker stats, I guess.
PVE,
PVP,
WvW,
Dungeons
or Openworld?
It’s possible to create a gem store converter item that give 35 or so stack of shared unbound magic’s gathering buff at cost of 4900 karma?
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unbound_Logging_Axe
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unbound_Mining_Pick
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unbound_Harvesting_Sickle
all in one, to save slot for who have the unbreakable tools.
Looking for tips:
I don’t ever run axe but watching it’s moveset i’ll definitely want to try Sigil of Agility and Intelligence for a 100% crit quickened Ghastly Claws (with valkyrie amulet).
Could it work?
My build surely isn’t meta but each condi transfer is for stacking toughness, not very weak vs power because once you exit from shroud you have protection + minion’s damage reduction + bonus toughness. It’s a bit LF starving but I can swap “Suffer!” for Spectral Armor.
Spite 3/1/3
Death Magic 2/1/2
Reaper 1/2/1
With “Your Soul Is Mine!” “Rise!” “Suffer!” Summon Flesh Wurm
Marauder Greatsword / Staff
(edited by Vitali.5039)
I’ve got several GS build variations including a Minion based one which works quite well in Conquest.
“Rise!” Transfer build?
I wish that Soul Comprehension could follow a similar mechanic to Life Reap (3rd reapers shroud AA).
1st AA 1% life force gain for each foe struck
2nd AA 1,5% life force gain for each foe struck
3rd AA 2% life force gain for each foe struck
Yeah, Lingering Curse only condition duration from scepter’s skill.
With 50% base condition duration your scepter’s skill have capped duration.Wrong. Lingering curse doesnt count for the max duration (see https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lingering_Curse). Lingering curse increases simply the base duration of all scepter conditions. So for example your bleeds of grasping dead will be 15 sec multiplicated with your condition duration modifer. With 50% condition duration that would be 15*1.5=22.5 sec. Capped condition duration without the trait would give only 10*2=20 sec (with the trait it is 30 sec). So there is a difference.
My bad then, my response was based on http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/ ’s tooltip.
Yeah, Lingering Curse only condition duration from scepter’s skill.
With 50% base condition duration your scepter’s skill have capped duration.
Necromancer’s damage come from bleed and poison, you can easily cap their duration for a dps increase and gain benefits from bleeding based sigil, staying in shroud lower your dps (except for 5-4 combo).
When running Lingering Scepter on curse, bleed/poison duration seem to cap extremely quickly and I think that’s where my biggest damage inhibitor is. I could be wrong though, so I’ll have to re-test when I get back online.
Take into account Blood Is Power!: it’s not on scepter and gain a lot of damage from capped condition duration.
Bleeding not from scepter:
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Barbed_Precision (crit 33%> bleed)
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Chilling_Nova (AoE chill)
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Chilling_Darkness (blind > chill)
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shivers_of_Dread (fear > chill) ..lol trait
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Deathly_Chill (chill > bleed)
Crit chance is useful for https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Barbed_Precision and https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Chilling_Nova (more and more bleed)
and https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Target_the_Weak is good with some precision. For a condi build once you have capped the condition duration your damage can only increase with extra power/condition.
All valid points I didn’t think about initially. Is this damage increase surmountable enough to offset the 9000ish health and 1000ish toughness gained from switching to Trailblazers/Dire – or is that more for completely maxing damage do you think?
It’s only for minimal damage increase, vitality and toughness could also be a dps increase if prevent your death.
- Dhuumfire hits for about 3.5k fully stacked whereas condis from scepter hit for about 3k fully stacked (one enemy, not multi RS1 targets). This doesn’t include utility skills, since I can switch out of DS and use them on both builds.. Do these numbers sound accurate? I tested it on paper and on an in-game dummy and it seems to be consistent, just unsure if I’m missing something. Should I be including utility damage?
Necromancer’s damage come from bleed and poison, you can easily cap their duration for a dps increase and gain benefits from bleeding based sigil, staying in shroud lower your dps (except for 5-4 combo).
- Given that conditions can’t crit (unless that’s changed?) is there any purpose in taking Viper gear over Trailblazer gear? The extra power/precision seems tiny when I can instead have the toughness/vitality for more survivability.
- Same question as above, but for Sinister trinkets/accessories/rings vs Dire ones.
For a condi build once you have capped the condition duration your damage can only increase with extra power/condition.
Necros cant gain too much boon, if the enemy necro cast chill to the bones your necro (one of the 9000+ necro) should go into ‘corrupting’ shroud mode, you’ll see the necro eat the dust.
The fix to chill to the bone is a bonfire at the spawn point, so the player can rest near the warming.. flame.
out of nowhere?
Now thieves without weapons can make a stealth RKO!
Gw2 PvP in 2017 is like: “Guys if everyone is broken that means the game is balanced right?!?!”
Pretty much.
OP’s list is funny. Builds which “play themselves” like DH and warrior are fine, but revenant, which requires actual thought and decision making, is underpowered.
If you want to suggest buffing other utilities on the thief and/or the profession itself at the expense of Shadowstep in ways to keep the class useful, be my guest, but pretending like the class would be fine if this were nerfed heavily is just asinine.
What about:
New F2: While in stealth thieves can see and deactivate harming traps in a X range. 60 sec CD
Trait swap: Stealing from a disabled target recharge Steal of 5 sec
Steal’s range decreased.
Mechanic nerf: (while in combat) gradually increase the next initiative cost by 1 after the 3rd cast of the same initiative’s skill
What’s the usefulness of Revenant’s single target chill proc on crit with 10sec cd when the ‘corruption’ line could benefit of.. boon corrupt? :O
7/10 placement win, 1 lose for an idle player, and i was sent in silver 1. Now i’m in gold 2 but I don’t feel more skilled than before :/
Onslaught should change in:
3 sec reduction of all shroud skills on nearby kills
3% LF gains from nearby deaths while in shroud
Critical strikes done while in reaper’s shroud apply 1 stack of Reaper Shroud’s Mark
Reaper Shroud’s Mark: damage taken by critical strikes is increased by 1%
10 maximum stack /10 sec
(edited by Vitali.5039)
A Dragonhunter can block a lot, a Guardian cannot.
The meta Build have:
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Courageous_Return Recharge of f3/30 sec after a revive
Blocks for seconds
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shield_of_Courage block for 4 sec
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Renewed_Focus block 3 sec (no damage) to reset all the virtues
Aegis
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shield_of_Courage every 30 sec (traited) from passive f3
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shield_of_Judgment CD of 16 sec (traited) [weapon:shield]
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Hunter's_Determination on impending condition every 60 sec
vs Projectiles
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Zealot's_Defense CD of 15 sec for 3 sec [weapon:sword]
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Deflecting_Shot CD of 10 sec for path only [weapon:longbow]
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shield_of_Absorption CD of 19.25 for 4 sec (no direct damage) [weapon:shield]
So the Meditrapper can’t do direct damage while blocking with 3 sec of Renewed Focus and 4 sec of Shield of Absorption while can do damage under the effect of
double Shield of Courage and aegis.
So the longest block chain while damaging can be 4 sec (damage) + 3 sec (no damage) + 4 sec (damage)
8/11 sec.
And now.. take a look here

Seems that DH isn’t op but in line with the others heavy class.. oh, sorry Revenerf :P
Joke time:
Set the relog place mid air, if someone relog will fall/die/have to wait n seconds to respawn.
Next step is to bring pvp into pve: dark souls like invasion in fractals and raids :p
Rallying is SOOOO BROKEN, many classes can solo ress someone faster than the finisher animation.
Lost a match vs a rally dream team:
2 hammer engi
1 druid
1 warrior
1 thief
Stealth stomp/ress everywhere and not enough cc to stop it.
go and try necro, they have 2 hp bars , so maybe will be better for u.
Dont give the OP false expectations
@OP
a warrior can live longer than a necro because 2 health bar =/= double life span..
GW2 1st survivability rule is: damage keep you alive
GW2 2nd survivability rule is: avoiding damage keep you alive
make a trip on http://metabattle.com/wiki/Conquest and read the current meta,
“knowledge is the greatest treasure”
You can let the reward’s box bouncing ’til you are ready to open/salvage/sell all to the TP
Maybe they’ll make only one selectable elite spec.. stop multiclassing! ????
We are back at kitewars, why on earth would you run a class that needs to get up close to fight
1) Because it’s funnier than other classes
or
2) Because are OP
I don’t know if it’s possible but..
if pulmonary impact could change its damage based on the base casting time (without quickness) of the interrupted moves, capped at 1,5 sec?
Actual base damage: 872
Guardian’s Hammer AA
1 and 2 swings With 0,5 casting time: 872*0,5 = 436
3 swing With 1,25 casting time: 872*1,25 = 1090
Reaper’s Soul Spiral
2,75 casting time: 872*1,5 = 1308
No more huge damage for spamming and a sweet reward for who can interrupt key skills.
Also put a ICD of 1 sec to don’t promote senseless interrupt chain.
What about dinner?
Nice video
We ‘need’ titles based on pvp rank and league, like bronze rabbit.. or legendary rabbit :V
The only scenario where i can think of that to happen is if necro went far/close at start and thief is coming right at him which is obviously super bad decision making of the necromancer since his full potential is achieved in teamfights with ele/druid to support him.
It’s easier to respawn with 0 life force than 100%..
If only thieves can have a stealth Disable Device skill to disarm one setted trap.. or make the trap harm the trapper
I dont play thief but this seems a good build
http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vZAQNAqaVn8lCFmiFOBmOBkmilfCzbJkEeCzDwE4DcbMFAKTA-TpBFABIt/QDHCgFOCAiXGAgHAABnAAA
I believe that when players get reported for Intentionally Dc’ing and AfK they should get a manual mmr Penalty so they will move to the bottom faster if they won’t ban them.
Like if 2min after multiple report the player can’t make a single unit of damage to an enemy his rating start to decrease at -1mmr/5sec (for afk only)
