I play power war and normaly don´t use mace unless only dueling. I acidently forgot to swap weapons before a PvP match and got stuck with mace after going zerk. Well i thought wayne and used skull grinder … Interrupt … mace strike, pomel bash … interrupt …. oponent flees out of meele range for about 2 seconds till primal burst recharged and i leaped on him with another skull grinder … Well he was done … And i don´t play so much warrior and it was a power build :-/ …
Yes, skull grinder can make a warrior more cc-ing then a horde of Volatile Bloodstone Elementals, luckily only on single target.
I hit you, for 1 second you can’t hit me, your next move will miss me, i’ll headbutt you on the nose and if you are still alive i’ll do it again and again and again.
Luckily they’ll don’t add some sigil to gain further advantage of interrupts.. right?
I can understand the effect-overload of a skill like thief’s steal, but it’s a 20 sec (trained) CD skill that don’t improve it’s survival like a “base” skull grinder.
Trait sinergy it’s a good thing, but when you can combo skill and traits to reliably do everything ther’s something wrong.

For the siphon they only need to make siphons scaling with power and condition. They can also split the formula mechanics for pvp.
For the siphon healing.. it seems an irrilevant value atm.

Whether a 10 sec ICD trait is OP depends on other factors than a comparison of their cool downs. For example, with that ranger trait, how often a ranger could actually take advantage of it matters too.
I didn’t say that the reaper skills were spammable. I was talking strictly about the ranger in the post.
My nope was referred to WvW/PvE balance vs PvP.
Seems that the balance are splitted only cause the modes uses customizable stats combination.. not taking into account that in pve you don’t hit players (lower hp)
And a capable druid can proc the trait every 10 seconds, if the target don’t have a reliable source of stability.

Dagger #4 and Staff #4 will miss with blind but not the signet.I just checked you can only autotransfer bleeds and poisons and burns and stuff like that.Doesn’t work on cripples or chill effect.

Leeching is currently worthless, but with some adjust it can be useful for a dps increase and to let peoples stay above 90% hp more easily.
Cause they don’t want to take a look at the bar and cleanse smartly.
Why not tag up and explain how to use cleanse and light fields whirl/blast finisher? Or saying to a pair of guardians to pick SYS and CoP? A lot of people actually read what a commander have to say.

If someone want to tank with necros it really should choose reaper trait line: -10% damage from chilled foes, life force refilling utility, blinds and the best minions. If the necro want its minion to tank it shouln’t go full toughness.
But all builds can work in open world, so its fine

As for rev giving itself conditions, that would require a major rework. Necro giving itself conditions is fine because the class was designed to transfer those conditions back. Look at all the condi transfers necro has: staff 4, dagger 4, plague signet, minion transfer, plague sending. Additionally they have consume conditions and shroud to help tank conditions.
But what about rev? They have a lot of abilities to clense and tank (resistance), but no ability to transfer. Self conditions would require a pretty large rework.

Viper is optimal, Sinister is good, Rampager is fine. You can but i fear that every utility minion slot will make your already poor dps drop as a power reaper..

Viper Greatsword is a meta weapon for raids and i can’t see why that build can’t be used in fractals. You only have to adjust your rotation when you don’t have quickness.
4) Am I right to assume that the crafting priority ought to go somewhere along the lines of Dagger, Scepter, Warhorn, trinkets, legs, chest > the rest?
For condi: Scepter, Dagger, Greatsword, trinkets, armor
For power: Greatsword, trinkets, armor, other weapons
Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t vampiric presence affect the life leech you can trait your minions for? I’m not saying that justifies the oddly low scaling, I just genuinely don’t know.
And yes the scaling on those are ridiculously low. At the same time, in PvE Necro survivability is already ridiculously high, so I don’t see how buffing their life leech will open up their diversity at all.
Yeah, the two traits stack.. but the minion’s attack rate is so low that you should hope that your vampiric presence (max 5 target) will affect some player.. to keep active the life based bonus. Buffing the leech damage (from traits and non) could open a way to use the reaper’s GS trait (more dps from field, more whirl.. maybe 12 easy vulnerability in fractals), dumping a free 50% crit, making mandatorty berserker gear (less life from valk, yay) and will benefit well’s damage (multi hitting AoE leeching skill) to increase the pve appeal of the power reaper

Revenant – Maniacal Persistence: gain faster stack under the effec of Fury (0,5 sec)
Embrace the Darkness: the revenant is plagued with a random new condition every seconds, while under the effect of Embrace the Darkness condition on you don’t expire

Solo queue causes so much toxicity from the Solo Queuers, with premade teams player will play with people they actually like instead of scrubs and trolls that can hinder their advancement and fun.

Hey guys, currently playing a valkyrie reaper which is awesome but i want to change it up a bit so i have a few questions for viper horror build on meta battle. Is this build good for open world HoT?
All builds are good for open world
1. Can it solo the hero points like valkyrie reaper can?
Not so well, but swapping Soul Reapering for the old Death Magic build and Epidemic for “Rise!” can do the job.
2. Is the damage more or less then valkyrie reaper? (for HoT open world only)
It’s good where many mobs are packed.. and for killing Husks.
3. Would you recommend Staying as a valkyrie reaper or switching to Viper Horror in your opinion?
Depend on your playstile, I have a berserker and a viper light set, i suggest you to play first with a exotic version before crafting/convert the set to viper.

Balanced Stance pulses stability and swiftness every 3 seconds, if the dolyak stability its dispelled it’s gone forever.
(damage apart) staff is our pvp best weapon, basically is the only “must have” in pvp.
With a statement like that I guess there is no point in trying to help people in this thread.
I’m fine with my staff, but our other weapon need some love too.. to be in line with the reaper design we must have more mobility (like the Greatsword’s 3# as a moviment skill, or making Reaper’s Shroud 2# break immobilize, or Dagger’s 2# transfer some condi), to be the inesorable reaper that hunt down victims.. not like a immobililized thing that can’t even touch enemies or stand melee.
What’s wrong with using something other than staff for a change? Yes…There are other weapon set combinations that do not include staff lol.
There is nothing wrong with running other weapon than staff, but staff it’s good for:
-1200 range
-(good) Ranged CC
-Poison
-Condi transfer
-Life force generation
So.. like thieves shortbow we have to rely on this utility weapon, cause we cant find those things in other moveset.
If the daggers 2# could transfer 2-3 condition I’ll be the first to use it.. (damage apart) staff is our pvp best weapon, basically is the only “must have” in pvp.
Edit: are you suggesting a portal in the home instance that leads to a HoT map? That’s an interesting idea. However it seems sort of limited, seeing as there are new maps coming out with each LS and later with the next expansion. More likely imo would be another pass you can buy with map currency that takes you to a HoT map.
