No need for legendary kits.
Add legendary backpack(s).
Problem solved forever.
EDIT FOR FAIL: Forgot that kits hide backpacks.
Add legendary helmets.
Problem solved forever.

Just make your own group.
If you have someone stalking and harassing you make sure to block and report them. If they persist send a ticket to support I’m sure they will be able to help you somehow.
It’s most likely not someone “harassing” them.
It’s more likely that it’s a clingy guild member or friend…I know the feeling, lol.
It could also be a person from a pug that uses his friends list as a personal lfg.
I do agree, this needs to be addressed, but in all honesty it’s not a huge priority.
Panic for the sake of panic.

and Josh needs to also be consulted when making boss mechanics in dungeons.
I would like a puzzle oriented, more conventional addition to explore the lore prior to guild wars 2 as well.
Nope, it’s not finished yet. Don’t expect anything this or next month, but if reception is generally positive, I would not be surprised at additions in the future.
I have 11 because I’m crazy. I made 1 of each class and 3 WvW focused characters.
I focus on about 4-5 seriously, use 5 to harvest ori nodes/elder wood, and leave my ranger and necro in the dark
What do I do? Dungeons, WvW, and chill in guild chat and help out when needed. I use dailies to focus on my map completion on the 4 or 5 I take seriously.
If it disappears after April, I say increase the team’s budget and have them do something like this bi-monthly.
Pure skins, purely optional, purely fun. People love it.
(Make it fit with the lore of Tyria for bonus points)
We are a very small team. The more skins we made, the less stuff we could make in the Box. So we settled for a minimal set, with plans to add to it with each new World we release. I love Engies and I wish we could have served them and Thieves better this time around, but had to make some tough choices.
patience. given the positive feedback, i think they should make an appearance.
+1 OP
Josh Foreman and his team are talent that should be LOCKED IN to ANet and NCSoft.
Have him help design final boss fights in dungeons. Give him a raise.
AND DO NOT LET HIM OR HIS TEAM GO TO COMPETITORS.
…is there a shop inside a shop???
Time to carpet bomb every shop in the zone.
Do you have your 2nd legendary? If not, your not hardcore enough.
But yes, you are right. GW2 is a casual gamer’s game with content to do for the skilled (jumping puzzles) and the hardcore (legendaries, ascended tier, and achievement leaderboards).
The only difference is that being hardcore in GW2 does not (generally) make you better than a casual Can be argued that ascended gear breaks that rule, but unless two zerkers or tanks are going up against each other 1v1 – 3v3 in WvW, it’s not usually an issue.
I, being a hardcore-ish gamer who loves horizontal progression, will be working on earning those kitten skins. SUPER SWORD
I think they should consult Josh Foreman for future dungeon encounters.
While I don’t think dungeons should have quite as much jumping, Josh and his team seem to have mastered what an enjoyable boss encounter should be.
Amazing. Period.
Serious question.
There are obviously a lot of people who enjoy this sort of content. Should similar instances be made more prominent and permanent?
Personally, I think that if they focus on jump-based content that stays true to lore and environmental aesthetic, these puzzles could be very viable as a method of obtaining weapon skins, armor skins, and various other items.
you can literal type “/wiki <topic>” in chat while in game to search anything on the fly.

for real. Of course, you will need to remove the SAChests from the real world and perhaps make baubels attainable by an alternate means.
Sounds like a REALLY good way to use up karma, doesn’t it?
P.S. Josh Foreman is a huge asset to your team. NEVER let him or the other members of the small team working on this leave ANet. They deserve raises. I can tell you right now that competitors are going to try to steal these ideas, if not the talent themselves.
Josh Foreman and all those involved…
Did you think clocktower was too easy? lol.
Just finished what you have so for SAB. WOW! 2.5 hours of hell XD
Good work!
With most games, April Fools is limited to a forum post.
Some games have events.
This one has the be the most engaging I’ve seen yet.
GW1 turned everyone into stick figures for April Fools, had gun toting commandos for 2 years…
…yall make me giggle.

I can’t do dungeons due to a lower-end computer.
“0/1 Fractals Completed.” is going to make me mad all month. Thanks for the subtle hint that I should be doing FotM yet again ANet. I forsee me playing a lot less this month.
You can pick and choose which ones you want to do.
Please try again.
Want more people while you run around? Guest on TC or JQ
Bored with a Zone? Do a different one.
Want to do dungeons? Use gw2lfg.com
Want to WvW? Join a T3-T6 Server
Want to have fun? DO WHAT YOU ENJOY.
I feel like you are baiting me, but I’m gonna answer as sincerely as possible.
I love my guild (WAR, Anvil Rock).
Lol, good answer why don’t you leave something of use instead of being a troll.
Take your own advice…
No matter what anyone here says, you will be convinced the game is empty.
I could tell you people are:
But no matter what, you would just dismiss it and say the game is empty…
But if you really just wanna run around for the sake of seeing other people TC and JQ are for you.
People here…just wow.
Lighten the skritt up.
I think that both aquatic combat and downed skills need serious balance.
No, I would not remove it. However, some classes need it buffed. Or more utility.
Also, stealth killing downed people needs to go…and I play a thief.
If you need help in your quest, let me know. Just make sure to record your exploits with either video or frequent screenshots
Question is.. why do Anet Force us PvPers to get 100% on pve maps to be able to get a legendary. . And then theres the dungeons…. PvEers cry to much when its the PvPers who are forced 95% of the time

P.S. Why do you feel forced? Or do you feel like you have no choice if you want a legendary?
Bingo Ty ty ty
I tried googling it, but couldn’t find the site I had used previously.
I’m just looking for a site with current/updatable ori ore/elder wood node locations
That’s why I start all instances I can.
If I’m kicked, the dungeon ends. I have immunity
I was switching characters in a dungeon to level. Now I’m stuck
Where is this thread? I’d like to see it.
Also, why don’t you post in that thread to make sure that all the concerns are in one place?
Seriously, idk what you are talking about with a condition damage buff.
GW2 did push the envelope in many ways, including but not limited to its visual appeal, the seamless PvE questing and broad leveling system, and strong economy design.
GW2 is also markedly inferior to its predecessor in important ways like combat depth and horizontal progression.
It is a good game in its own right, and one I have enjoyed more than I thought I would – but it is impossible for me to call a game the best ever when it takes substantial steps back from its predecessor.
As a GWAMM, I would respectfully disagree.
PvE combat became the following builds:
In fact, despite the 1300+ skills (literally) I could destroy all of GW1’s endgame by removing 6 skills:
It’s all a matter of opinion, I guess, but I prefer GW2. Smaller deck per class, but at least each deck is substantially different from one another (outside of CoF p1).
What is this witchcraft?
[…]they literally hate anything that’s not a Guardian or Warrior.
They are not alone. I just took 10 minutes time to browse all LFG entries on gw2lfg.com for NA territory and check for all entries that asked for specific classes. This is what I came up with:
Classes explicitly being asked for, across all entries for all dungeons:
Mesmer: 5 times
Guardian: 8 times
Warrior: 20 timesNo other class was asked for (and about half the entries for warriors specifically asked for zerker gear).
This either means that there are a lot less people playing mesmers, warriors and guardians, making them really hard to find – or it could mean that those classes are way better for groups than other classes, and class balance needs some more work.
I think a vast majority will agree with the latter.
umm…in all fairness, a VERY significant portion of those LFGs are for people doing CoF Path 1 speed farming.
Remove those and tell me what you get…
Can I just say that Arena Net hates any class that doesn’t wear Heavy Armor at this point?
Except for eles. Apparently.
Aren’t they still supposed to be nerfing AoE damage at some point here or did they sweep that under the rug?
Welp, I had forgotten all about that, yup, they literally hate anything that’s not a Guardian or Warrior.
Yea, those thieves, eles, and mesmers suck.
I don’t understand.. i think A.Net would make more money if they just made the skins available in the gem store. I would pay like 20 dollars for a skin or two, but I’m not going to gamble when I had no luck with skins in chests during any of the other holiday/events. :\
Please consider putting these skins in the gem store, even if it’s a high cost, thanks!
I don’t think you understand just how many keys people will buy.
I would rather the skins be buyable straight up, but I think they do make more money by exploiting people with unhealthy gambling addictions.
It’s only aesthetic though, and I look pretty kitten awesome already.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single skill patch in any MMO where there weren’t complaints.
Though idk why my warrior needs a buff…
3 medium servers…the rest are very high atm.
No problem.
That’s just america, though.
Because dodging is the only way that you can avoid damage…there’s no way you can control enemies or support allies.
Yea…
Those things aren’t used at all…
I am ashamed that I took the bait.
People are at level 80 or higher.
It’s all in your head.
My favorite MMO, most definitely.
As much as I hate precursor RNG and the time gating of Ascended gear, they have successfully pushed both the need for high tier gear almost exclusively to FotM 30+.
I complain when I don’t like what happens to the game, but this is by far the best MMO i’ve played.
My favorite game overall?
Why do people log in here to make post that they are bad at mmos? If your bad at mmos then dont play them. Dont complain that its hard and it sucks and that your sorry you came back. We are sorry you came back too.
Dont worry, I’ll leave again.
The reason I’ve not got a group to play with is that they all left. I personally liked this game, and wanted to get back into it.
Never mind, your toxic attitude has convinced me to leave. Sorry, you keep burrying your head in the sand whenever people bring up quite legitimate concerns, just dont be supprised when it gets all lonely in you “perfect” game.
It may come as news to you, peple can raise issues, and not be attacking the game. Nevermind, such a nuanced concept is no doubt beyond you.
PROTIP: Never judge an mmo community my its forum contributors.
Thanks for the encouraging posts, everyone.
Thanks for the link Vorch. What is different about Tarnished Coast and Jade Quarry?
TC and JQ are very PvE oriented, especially TC. (TC is also an unofficial roleplaying server)
They actually have started saying that too many people are showing up, especially for boss chest events.
If you are getting one shot as a guardian in open world PvE, you are doing something wrong. Most likely you have not updated your gear (costs 5-15s)
If you want to just level running around the open world and worry about finding people, guest on Tarnished Coast or Jade Quarry.
I’ve got the best gear I could find, if you can recommend where to get some I’ll go take a look.
For Weapons, do the same, but select weapon as category and the weapon(s) you want as the sub category.
Go to www.gw2armor.com
Also, check out the wiki: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Light_armor
If you want to level in open world zones because you hate and/or are afraid of instanced content and WvW, guest on Tarnished coast or Jade Quarry.
There’s plenty to do at the level cap…plenty of armor choices for light and heavy armor (medium armor is quite another story)…
