Don’t forget that you can only craft 1 Glob of Elder Spirit Residue per day. In the worst case scenario you are looking at 100 days until you have your 100 spiritwood.
If you have the dedication to work on the same goal for 100 days, you’ll easily meet your total logging time.
The raven staff only needs 90 spiritwood planks, btw.
And if you wish to progress faster than that, you can buy additional ones on the tp.

I am pretty sure the pvp devs would like to see your feedback.
Unfortunately, they usually look in the pvp forums for feedback and not here.

I’m going to copy-paste my previous post.
“On my fastest fastest character (perma 33% walk speed, staff/ GS Druid), it took me 45 minutes to gather 200 soft wood.
I need 8000 soft woods for 100 Spirit Woods, that’s like 30 hours.
Then I need 6000 Hard Woods, that’d be 22.5 hours.
Then I need 3000 Season woods, that’s like 11.25 hrs.
Then I need 15000 Elder Woods, that’s like 56.25 hrs.
Total time of logging: 120 hours."Long term goal involving roaming in low level boring, threatless zones for 100 hours, logging woods 24/7. You’d never get the materials yourself by playing real contents such as HoT maps, raids, fractals, WvW, PvP if you don’t buy them.
Pretty convenient then that all the wood can be gathered in wvw as well, as the maps offer all tiers of nodes.
As a wvw player, he also wouldnt need to neccesarily log all the elder wood as he gets enough blues/greens from kills to salvage. If you do it in WvW, you’d probably spend like 5~10 times more hours due to lack of woods that you can actually gather. Plus you’re not being productive at all in WvW if you just constantly searching for woods.
Btw, you already show a screenshot of buying all the woods on TP yourself. Why bother responding to this? It’s not like you’re going to gather woods yourself since you’re so rich.
There is a downside to everything. The fastest way to obtain something usually isnt the most fun. Not being in “boring” map seems to be a big issue for you, so you got the choice to make your daily logging more interesting by doing it in a wvw map.
Some other people really enjoy running around in lower level zones or harvesting nodes.
All you are basically complaining about is that your favourite game content isnt the best way to get the loot you want.
Just look at what game content you like offers decent rewards in terms of material drops and play that, then sell it and buy wood.
Problem solved.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
Is there any? I did some rough calculations and light ascended armor set costs now around 700 gold.
Also, spiritwood planks are for double the price since Nevermore release…. What a unwise decision to make ascended material part of new legendaries and precursor crafting. What’s done is done, now remove daily time gate so the prices stabilize at least a little bit.
(yea and it is cheaper to sell ascended mats and buy precursors of the TP. I just did.)
I think its was part of a bigger reward design decision. Anet wants rewards to be more balanced across all game content, also lower level maps and for lower level characters.
Ascended mats as well as the new gifts of condensed might and magic to forge the new legendaries need plenty of mats that are easier gathered in lower level maps and from lower level characters but are mostly demanded by veteran players, so its a good way to combat wealth disparity in game.
This might be a frustrating situation, if you want to craft a new legendary or ascended gear but for the people that dont (you know, casuals that this game was designed for) its a great system.

Are you seriously asking semi-casual players to GTFO of your game?
Almost 528G. What’s the problem?
It’s an account bound precursor, it shouldn’t have a big gold requirement.
It doesnt have a big gold requirement, it has a big material requirement, thats a big difference.
Forging old precursors was a huge sink for mithril, elder wood and t5 fine mats and is a good example of what happens, if you remove big material sinks without putting in new ones.
Elder wood and mithril actually got plenty of new sinks in guild halls and the new precursor journeys but t5 fine mats didnt and lost over 80% of their value since hot and are traded only a couple of copper over vendor value now.

Not sure what you need them for, but if you need them for personal use in crafting, it might be a good idea to wait until they update the fractal rewards in december.
Then they will also change the amount encryption keys you get per matrix from 2 to 1.
That should take some demand off them and price should fall.

Ok i messed up.i was invited to a guild and went to check them out,all fine so far.
Then i decided to leave and went to my guild account list and clicked on it and left, still fine so far!
Nope, i had just clicked on and left my personal guild with three years stuff in.
totally my fault but not helped by from the new guild account window that lists guilds you are in a millimeter apart.
I put a ticket in but Anet cannot get my guild or stuff back, so that sucks.
I accept my fault in this but just be very very careful is all i can advise.

Thanks to gmrinku for his help.edit lol said becareful, spelling mistake in title.
THe button to leave a guild is actually way below your guild list.
You dont leave your own guild, if you just click the small check box left of the guild names.
The check boxes just activate and deactivate representation.

And it costs around 1300g to craft the full precursor ravenswood staff atm because spiritwood already went down to 10g on buy order.
The new pistol pre costs between 350-550g, depending on if you use buy orders or buy directly.
If those are the prices just for the precursors, how much does it cost to make the final legendary?
I cant give you correct numbers atm as gw2bltc.com didnt update the other 3 gifts to craft the legendary but i can give you estimates.
The first gift is the mystic tribute:
- 250 mystic coins
- 77 mystic clovers
- 2 gifts of condensed might
- 2 gifts of condensed magic
Its basically just like the old gift of fortune with the difference that you dont need a full stack of each fine t6 mat but only 200 and you need an additional 500 each t5 and 100 each t4 and t3 fine mats.
I didnt calculate but i would estimate that the price for the 50 t6 mats you need less equals the value of the t3-t5 mats needed. I attached a screenshot of the shopping list for the old gift of fortune, which is about 600g atm. But that shopping list doesnt consider all the mats you get back while forging mystic clovers, so the overall costs will probably be more like 400g. But for the new legendaries, you also need to buy 8 new recipes, at least for the first one you craft, which are 10g each, so lets say mystic tribute will cost around 500g, plus 480k karma (unless you farm your obsi shards another way) and 136 spirit shards.
The 3rd thing you need is the gift of maguuma mastery:
- Gift of maguuma (map completion in all 4 new maps)
- Gift of insights (masteries maxed, plus 800 each new map currency and 3g)
- Bloodstone shard (200 spirit shards)
- 250 crystalline ingot (shopping list in 2nd attachment, 250g worth of tradeable mats and a bunch of account bound mats, 250 each obsi shards, ley line sparks, auric dust, airship oil and crystalline ore)
The last forge ingredient is gift of nevermore:
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gift_of_Nevermore
- Gift of the mist (250 each shards of glory and memories of battle, (would cost 50g on tp atm), 500 badges of honor, 1 ball of dark energy (salvaged from asc gear) and 75 stabilizing matrixes (30g)
- 100 icy runestones (100g) vendor
- gift of the raven spirit (10g) vendor
The last ingredient is unknown but for the new legendary pistol HOPE its gift of wood, which would be another 120g for the mats and 10g for the recipe, if yo udont have it yet.
So thats about 1.1k gold in tradeable mats for the other gifts, 2.4k gold for the whole legendary atm. which is quite in line with old popular 2h legendaries.
Thank you for posting this summary. 2,400 gold is less than I figured it would be. I mean, it’s still a lot of gold, but it’s not as bad as I was thinking. I really like the look of the pistol and this helps give me an idea of what is involved in the new legendary process.
The other parts of legendaries I’m well-awared, and I ACTUALLY think it’s fine.
I tried to do events for map bonuses, or use laurel or even open bags I got from HoT maps
I got Mystic Coins naturally too from doing old dailies.
I got pvp Tokens from doing pvp regularly.
I got wvw tokens from doing wvw regularly.
I got enough Ectos myself from salvaging rares. And I ALREADY have around 180 t6 blood WITHOUT SPENDING A SINGLE COIN.
I also do not feel grindy because I’m doing lots of events. Some of them I actually haven’t done it before even after 3 years of playing, which I feel refreshed when I see them. But when I see that I need 8000 soft woods and 6000 hard woods, I feel so unreasonable because we don’t normally get them if you don’t play like robot in low level zones roaming around for woods.
What is wrong with just buying the wood on the tp then from the loot you get from the content you like to play?
NO low level maps involved, no robotics involved.
Sigh, someone clearly don’t get the point because they’re too rich.
Can’t you see I try to WORK for my legendaries without revolving around too much about TP and gold? Isn’t that the PURPOSE of precursor crafting?
However, 100 Spirit Woods completely destroy that purpose and just add in time-gate or excessive gold gate on new legendaries and nothing more.
Anyway, not going to reasoning with you anymore. We already know you’re too rich to bother about price.
Just craft the pistol, then.

In GW2, cosmetic = end-game contents. So if gold can get you 95% of legendary weapon, then it’s a form of pay to win.
I think you greatly underestimate the amount of account bound stuff needed to craft a new legendary.
Get champ bags and open on lower level char no need to fight those boring mobs or events mate
I’m well aware yknow.
250 Crystaline Ore, and 800 of each currency is NOTHING compare to 100 spirit woods. We get them NATURALLY from PLAYING the game.Mining and Logging aimlessly across the world in those threatless/brainless zones, to me, is not playing a game. It’s only a core. It’s like bots. It’s like Chinese slave worker doing repetitive things that do not require thinking and interaction.
To me I’d value doing real game contents over mining/logging 10000% of the time.
I rather win raids 100 times over logging materials enough for 100 spirit woods. (Which also could easily take over 100+ hours)It’s arguably more difficult, but that’s what makes it legendary, not just a pile of gold that are used only to satisfy “rich casuals”
Ah, so getting the new legendaries isnt hard enough for you?
Again, read the op, this isnt what this thread is about, its about new legendaries being out of reach for semi casuals.
What other long term goal you want for the casuals then? You know, the ones this game was designed for?
Yeah, I think all the other materials I see are fair because there’re numerous methods to obtain them.
Even the rare t6 materials are easy to get now from map bonus now by just doing events across the world, which is more enjoyable than mining/logging.
The 100 Spirit Woods is the only part that’s 100% unreasonable because it fores you to either spend excessive money on TP, or make you play like a robot, a slave for hundred of hours, doing mindless logging.
Logging isnt the only way to obtain wood and ore. You can just do events that spawn lots of mobs and salvage the weapons you get.
And the magic here is they only give t5 woods on lv80 characters.
They never give low tier materials because of Anet’s bad system. Before you say anything, I have ELEVEN lv80 characters.
Don’t tell me to create new alts and fight those boring/ threatless mobs in old zones again.I MAY actually afford the logging IF they release this material sink since Day 1 of the game, because I can actually get them naturally by playing noob alts.
If you cant be bothered to get wood from nodes in lower level maps or any of the wvw maps, you can do whatever you want to earn gold and buy wood from the players who play in those zones.

There is interesting debate going on in here. There are good players and there are gold farmers. Anet has probably done what it thinks is best for its game so that legendary weapons will never be an item (or its materials) that a bunch of gold farmers will start mass producing and selling.
Clearly the legendary weapon is an onerous process. Right now, I’m just working on the process and leveling my masteries. I am getting a bit frustrated with certain things. Time gated items are a HUGE frustration, but at least gold farmers aren’t mass producing those items and selling them for gold.
Gold farmers ruin games both directly and indirectly. They devalue in game economies if they aren’t controlled and they create onerous systems in games just protecting in game economies from the effects of gold farmers.
From what I can see in this game, Anet does a pretty good job “gold farm proofing” their game.
The timegated mats are only a problem for the staff.
2 handed weapons usually need more mats than 1 handed weapons and then the staff only uses wood (80 spiritwood planks), it will be the same debate, when the new gs comes around.
The precursor for the new pistol only needs 25 deldrimor, 10 spiritwood and 10 elonian, i dont think the timegate is much of a problem there.
And as you mentioned, it will take some time anyways, to get all the accound bound mats and achievements done, map completion, masteries maxed, plus the account bound mats for 250 fulgurite and the map currencies.
Do that first and meanwhile craft your daily cooldowns. With all the loot you get along the way, you will also have a good chunk of the tradeable mats.

In GW2, cosmetic = end-game contents. So if gold can get you 95% of legendary weapon, then it’s a form of pay to win.
I think you greatly underestimate the amount of account bound stuff needed to craft a new legendary.
You know, the ones this game was designed for?

make the new legendary backpack from fractals, transmute mawdrey to it.
Problem solved.

I’ve always disliked the term ‘best’ because it depends highly on your game mode and the type of content you are trying to complete. That being said pistol Engi with viper gear is currently very strong in terms of dps across all modes and has good sustain with it’s water fields etc. So if you feel like it’s a class you want to roll already, you can rest assured it’s a very strong class. However, it’s not a build you will see ‘big crits’ but rather ‘big burns’. =P
Ofc you could go with a power build to see those big crits, albeit in the optimal situations this would result in a fall off damage wise.
Just a quick off topic question, as i am just working on my burn build for a warrior:
What do you consider big burns?

Wanna make a legendary?
Start playing wood logger 2!
Don’t see how something feels legendary by just logging wood 24/7Thats the beauty of it, you dont need to chuck wood, if you dont want to.
If the value of chucking wood isnt appealing to you, you can play content you like and just buy the wood from someone who does love to chuck some wood, for example wood-chucker Chuck. If wood-chucker Chuck would chuck wood, how much wood would wood-chucker Chuck chuck?
Then what’s the point of making the new legendaries account bound then?
It’s still just a bunch of gold gather into one place, nothing more. No different from the old legendaries, except this time you have to play it in Anet’s way: Following the material grocery list.
You’re not making any argument here. You’re just stating the obvious.
If you’re so rich and you can easily afford the materials, good for you. You can leave the topic now since it’s none of your concern right? One more thing, if you have time wasting here, why not start your step 2 already?
Go figure out the real cost then.
The point of making legendaries account bound was that they have to be earned in game and cant be bought. Even as a gold-rich player, i agree with that and think the old ones should have been account bound from the start as well.
Alot of account bound mats, currencies and achievements go into crafting the new legendaries, the bulk of those are earned in the new hot maps, drytop and silverwastes, as well as a bunch of scavenger hunts in old tyria.
I guess you are more or less fine with the account bound mats going into the legendaries.
But you have a problem with the amount of tradeable mats that are needed.
I would argue that you will already get a bunch of tradeable loot and gold while working on acquiring the neccessary account bound mats.
Apart from that, the high requirements for tradeable goods for new legendaries are part of a bigger design or reward decision in my opinion.
In general, you need mat sinks in the game to keep the economy healthy, otherwise basic loot becomes worthless over time.
The tradeable mats for the old leggies were mostly obtained in high level maps, so there wasnt much demand for mats from lower level maps.
If all the good loot is only in 10-20% of the maps, its not healthy for the population in lower level maps, nobody would be there and they would have developed 15 maps that nobody wants to play.
With ascended crafting they added alot of value to the general loot table of those maps and they new legendaries also not only require lower level common mats but also fine mats.
With the recent nerf to popular gold and material farms for end game content and added value to loot from lower level maps as well as better reward structures (map rewards, shiny baubles) on those, they spread out rewards across all maps to give players a better incentive to play there.
And by the way, stating the obvious is always a good argument.
And it costs around 1300g to craft the full precursor ravenswood staff atm because spiritwood already went down to 10g on buy order.
The new pistol pre costs between 350-550g, depending on if you use buy orders or buy directly.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
Update for you, since Spirit wood cost 15g now due to Nevermore, now anything that uses Spirit Wood cost over 1000g for precursor crafting.
Thanks for Anet reusing old materials in new legendaries to compete with old legendaries. Lots of irrational decision here and there Anet.
Update for you:
Prototype, new pistol precursor, needs spirit wood, costs only 500g in mats, not 1000g.
Only 370g, if you get everything on buy order and craft the timegated mats yourself, which takes 25 days.
Hyperbole much?

Also, about the bit I highlighted: this is exactly the kind of misrepresentation of people’s views that makes these forums such a terrible place to hang out. Well done keeping up the standards.
The OP complained 4 days after the release that new precursors seem to be an unrealistic goal for semi casuals because the prices for the mats have spiked on the tp and there is rng involved in obtaining spiritwood.
Yet, he never stated his desire to complete the thing in 5 days. You made that up and it comes across disparagingly and antagonistically.
Well, he stated that crafting Ravenswood branch is an rng based money sink and is basically out of reach for semi casuals, which is hyperbole at best and a straight out lie at worst.
I attached a screenshot with the shopping list for ravenswood branch.
I only see a gold sink worth 6.75g and i dont see any mats that cant be obtained by playing semi casually over a period of time.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
And since when should long term goals be designed in a way that semi casuals can buy completion if it on the tp within 5 days?
Wanze,
How would a semi-casual’s being able to buy ascended or legendary items impact you in any way? Other players don’t really care if you (or I) have ascended or legendary items. All my ascended armor has been transmuted anyway — so no one can even tell if I have it or not.And you do realize that the grind is in place PRECISELY to encourage the semi-casual player to BUY the mats with their credit card. You do get this, right? And the more money the semi-casual throws at the game, the better it is for everyone.
It doesnt impact me at all. It just impacts the initial purpose and contradicts the definition of a long term goal, thats all.
And all the gold in tyria wont help as rich guy, who is just standing in front of the tp to obtain one of the new legendaries because i still would have to do all the rquired scavenger hunts, get map completion on the new maps, farm the new map currencies and account bound mats like fulgurite for example, in order to craft a new legendary.
In general, i think the inflated prices for ascended mats are a great way to transfer some wealth from veterans to new players, who level their first alts and usually spend more time in the lower level zones of central tyria, so they earn more of these lower tier mats than veterans that usually prefer to play end game maps and content. I think this is a very nice mechanic to combat wealth disparity and healthy for the game in general.
Just for some perspective:
When GW2 launched, it took 4 months until the first legendaries were earned and they were done by hardcore players. And due to the low gem/gold conversion at that time, you would have needed way more real cash to buy one or the required mats from the tp compared to the mat requirements now.
I am pretty sure, people will run around with the new legendaries in less time than 4 months and the material costs in gems to gold will also be way less than for the old legendaries after their release.
So what Anet considered a long term goal at release got way more accessible with the new legendaries.

I dont even know why he mentioned the prices on the tp as the effort to log the needed wood is the same as before hot or last week and there isnt much rng involved, either.

Are you seriously asking semi-casual players to GTFO of your game?Since when is logging wood rng based? Just semi casually run around some maps and chop away.
And since when should long term goals be designed in a way that semi casuals can buy completion if it on the tp within 5 days?
Long term goal involving roaming in low level boring, threatless zones for 100 hours, logging woods 24/7, Meaning you’d never get the materials yourself by playing real contents such as HoT maps, raids, fractals, WvW, PvP if you don’t buy them.
There goes the immersion and long-term goal.
I rather do raid100 times than this.
Want more danger, while logging wood? Roam on the wvw maps, they have all the wood nodes you need.
Rather run raids? Then do so and buy the wood from your rewards.
No rng involved, just a long term goal.
What was your original stance of collecting materials yourself rather than buying on TP for the materials? Then you’re still hitting by inflation harshly too.
You completely refute your own stance.
Anyway, kinda pointless to argue with you. You’re one of those 2 types of people:
1. Filthy rich, making money by exploiting the market. So rich that whatever the price level you can buy them. Inflation means nothing to you.
2. No interest in crafting these at all. Just stand outside the box laughing at people who suffer.
My original stance was that collecting spiritwood for a new precursor wasnt a rng based money sink.
Because its not rng based and its rather a mat than a money sink.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
And all of those materials you can farm yourself if you don’t want to buy.
That wouldn’t be a problem if the game had enough content left for me as a veteran to make the process enjoyable. GW core has been thoroughly chewed out. HoT offers hardly anything at all.
This precursor crafting arrived too late. Had it been in the game from the start, it would’ve been fine. Now? It’s like asking people to participate in a hot-dog eating contest right after they’ve stuffed themselves on a copious christmas dinner.
This thread isnt about lack of content for veterans its about semi casuals not being able to afford the wood needed within a week to craft a precursor.

hi all,
can anyone confirm if the stats of the item will erase the stats on the item that you apply this to? So if I put this on an ascended amulet, I will end up with crappier stats?
ascended trinkets dont have an upgrade slot, just an infusion slot, so you have to apply it to an exotic anyways.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
I heard from an unreliable source that the new greatbow will shoot farting cows and you need a stack of these to craft the gift of flying flatulence:
https://www.gw2tp.com/item/24214-flying-cow-token
Or was it the new shortbow?
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
I agree with the OP – time gated crafting is unreasonable. Why should I wait if I already have all the ingredients? Nonsense.
Wanze already presented a way to skip the time gate, with money.
There are other time gates in the game, too, like Ascended crafting.
Maybe, maybe not. Looking at the drop rate on the wiki and the TP there is maybe enough gifts for 6 people in the game to do that if they were going for a full set.
gifts are forgeable with snowflakes, of those we have plenty.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
Did you account for all the WvW ones that are now actually obtainable?
Why are they actually obtainable? Did they lower the numbers? If so, I missed this. Good news, of course. I just didn’t think it would happen.
I think i auto completed every wvw achievement, when hot went live because i already met the new requirements, except ultimate dominator, which wasnt lowered.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
Most of the crafted precursors are cheaper than on tp, if you craft the timegated ingredients yourself.
Most of the precursors are even undervalued on the tp, if you consider the average amount of rares/exotics that you have to throw into the forge in order to get one.
I dont know what kind of discount you were expecting on top of that.
Reading a few of the comments on the forum I think some people were expecting a miracle. A precursor which is cheap and easy to obtain but still rare and valuable.
I can tell some ways to make getting Legendaries hard as kitten, yet not grindy and cheap.
Make one requirement relating to Gold Rank all the mini games.
Use something like Fractal system, which reward players rare UNTRADABLE materials, that can only be obtainable through harder contents.
Ask for a greater variety of materials, not a big sink in one type of material.
I have no problem to give unique rewards for hardcore players or players who are extremely skilled in certain parts of the game.
But i dont think that this should be the legendary weapons. Because they are designed as a longterm goal for casual players.
I think they went into the irght direction with fractals and the legendary backpack and other unique account bound rewards. I think its better to introduce new rewards for content, rather than just putting the old legendaries behind achievements or skill checks that most casuals wont ever complete because they are simply not good enough.
They should always have the possibility to get rewarded over time with a legendary.
But as I said, i have no problem with rewarding unique legendary or ascended gear for completion of certain achievements, like gold ranks in all activities, finishing all wvw or pvp achievements, or for certain AP thresholds.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
Considering the added costs of fulgurite for the new ascended stats, i wouldnt be surprised, if trailblazers is the only one working as intended and the other stats wont be able to be forged into another ascended gear item with an exotic inscription/insignia for much longer.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
All these threads abut having problem making gold. Since HoT came out I:
- Bought the 3.5k gem pack (the Tron foraging tools, inventory slots and copper salvager).
- Bought the 800 gems Heavy Aether armor (I just wanted the gloves. Pity I didn’t know about the 20% off sale that came afterwards).
- Bought the 560 gems monk outfit (usually at 700 gems). So that’s around… 670 gold or something? I’ll agree if you’re after a precursor it’s peanuts, but that was me just playing HoT, doing the events and exploring the map.
Currently, only 3 of 20 precursors have a higher buy order than 670g, dusk, zap and legend.
Only 4 more (7/20 overall), leaf of kudzu, spark, colossus and dawn, cant be bought directly with 670g.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
Everything requires 10 brown dye!
Plenty of brown dyed undergarnments in raids these days, should be enough to go around.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
But yeah, it’s time gated with no workaround.
1. Buy t&t bags or wintersday gifts
2. Open
3. Sell everything you get except charged quartz crystals
4. Craft celestial set

I have the same question for Tattered Bat Wings…
Its always the same with these fesxtival rewards, people think price will go up, once they dont drop anymore and they will make huge profits once the festival is over.
But they dont realize that most people that wanted to craft nightfury, already bought 4 during the festival, so there isnt that much demand after the festival.
Casual investors get spooked and cut their losses.
And some other people maybe realized that there are way more tattered wings in game than endless batwing tonics, even at a 4:1 ratio.
We will see how much demand the lvl 300 scribe recipe creates that uses tattered wings.

The drop in price yesterday almost certainly came from the flood of exotic armor from map completion chests in ssc, dt and sw.
