The problem with this theory is that it relies on the ELder Dragons being concious of the decisions they make. It’s pretty clear the guildwars books that the Dragons are mindless, bent on one thing. They don’t have a war council, they just consume. They are mindless, which is exactly why I think they are being controlled by someone with a mind.

The elder dragons clearly show signs of intelligence. A mindless being does not control champions/luitenants/armies/fleets and does not sent an infiltrator to disrupt the Pact’s command structure.

And before you say Zhaitan doesn’t control his armies, his champions do. That’s like saying a general doesn’t command his armies, his luitenants do. It’s called an hierarchical command structure.

Here is something to think about: Zhaitan is a soverign and his champions are the generals. If you’ve ever read Sun Tzu’s Art of War, you’ll know that the two roles must be kept separate for war to be successful. The soverign acts like a supervisor while the generals do the warring.

But he is not a sovereign.

This is why I never pug dungeons, I only run dungeons with guildies.

This really is despicable behavior and people who do this should be banned for life. Though I think it’s hard for anet to properly monitor this.

Do dungeons reset at the same time dailies reset? I asked this ingame but got mixed responses, some people say it does, some people say it doesn’t.

Nothing there worth paying 300 gems every 2 weeks for..
Not to mention it’s soulbound on acquire..

I wonder if it’ll be a totally new skin, or just a flamekissed version of something we already have.

Yes because loading screens are there only for cosmetic purposes. It’s not like the game has to load textures and models or anything..

Only way id agree to open world dueling is if they did it WvW style whereby your level is reduced to the level of your opponents skill and abilities making you on even terms with them.

I’d prefer it if the low level characters are scaled up. Mostly because of crit chance. When I go to a lvl 15 zone for example, my crit chance is lower then when I actually was lvl 15. In other words, crit chance scaling is pretty much broken.

gw2spidy has pretty much anything you’d want for the TP already

gw2tp is the best one here; spidy is slow and outdated at times.

Wow, your guys are pretty neat. A lot of armor blends. I tend to use full sets and go color schemed, with only a couple exceptions… Couldn’t really say who is best looking though. I have too many toons and tons of armor sets, I so I will humbly submit my “family photo” of all my toons and you guys can pick for yourselves. Sadly, no back slots or weapons shown, but to get them all in a row like that would be hard anywhere but the login screen.

There can only be one champion though. Lately I have been wondering who was the champion of Zhaitan? Is it the Eye of Zhaitan at the source of Orr? Tequatl is often called a lieutenant of Zhaitan and not a champion as fas as I know. For Kralkatorrik its the Shatterer and for Jormag it is supposedly the Claw of Jormag, although I am not sure about it.

Uhh… one champion? In Eye of the North, Jormag had two champions simultaneously: Drakkar and Svanir. In fact, Drakkar made Svanir a champion. Zhaitan has over a dozen champions at once.

A “dragon champion” is simply more akin to a general or lieutenant (Tequatl is indeed a dragon champion, btw – so is Blightghast in the personal story and the two during the Arah story mode; even if Tequatl is called a lieutenant, which The Shatterer is as well, that doesn’t prevent it from being a dragon champion, given that the titles are pretty much meaning the same thing) of the Elder Dragons’ army of minions. They are the more powerful and more intelligent minions – and not necessarily dragons themselves, despite the title. There are many of them at once.

I take it the Risen Priests at the Temples in Orr are champions of Zhaitan as well?

They are not accessible within the game as of now and only appear in the book Ghosts of Ascalon.

not sure if it’s just my impression or actually supported by mechanics, but when my guardians have a shield on, even if not in hand, they have a higher rate of blocking than normal. it’s actually amusing to run through a group of centaur archers and suddenly hearing the thwack of an arrow hitting the shield on the guardian’s back without doing any damage because it was blocked.

That’s probably your Aegis protecting you.
