Skyhammer. Just throwing this out here.

I skyhammer farmed for maybe 10 minutes max to see just how much you get. Turns out the boredom:rank ratio is way out of whack.

I wouldn’t be surprised if really high ranking 60/70 players, with their skyhammer farm deducted, would still be sitting at the threshold to become a new “dragon”.

Can we expect to see talk about leagues/balance etc? Really not feeling the future of PvP if we’re going to take away the rank grind but not actually improve the game in response. Rank doesn’t mean anything in terms of skill but it’s got a correlation with time played, as well as rewarding things like finishers, etc – so it gives you something to aim for.

I’m 55. Still pretty far away from 60 but it’s doable, if I were to just team queue for a week solid I’d probably see something close to 60

Now apparently “mid 50” is just going to be straight up dragon max rank. That’s pretty tame. At least I’ll get to use the shark finisher? Won’t really have earned it though./

1) Hotjoin doesn’t matter, nor are hotjoin farmers “top players” for getting high scores
2) You still get full rewards if you get swapped
3) Nobody cares

PvE aint that stellar either m8, people solo the hardest dungeon in the game and kill the hardest boss in the game in 7 seconds.

I would honestly not waste your keystrokes with threads like these, people have been campaigning ever since it got put in team queue for Skyhammer to go. The only reason I think there’s not more Skyhammer threads is that everyone else has realised this.

Switch to hammer on Spirit Watch, it’s pretty good for stopping people orb capping with RoW and banish anyway.

Actually pretty significant if in Zerkers. Very little difference except for toughness increase if a condi build, marginal increase if in tanky-ish power builds.

The stat increase is only something like 5%, but zerkers adds up differently because all three stats work together for more damage as well as weapon stats. We’ll have to see how ferocity changes things.

I don’t think there’s any need for that at all, that’s what a warrior is (and not even, that’s old kittenty warrior) and there’s no need to completely rebalance things by taking away a class mechanic and changing the class completely for no benefit when several builds already occupy the role exactly. I want to know where this “ranger needs no pet” circlejerk comes from. I didn’t make an engi and then complain endlessly to get toolbelt skills (or kits) removed in return for more damage.

For starters NO decap engi should use elix s unless in skyhammer.
Next p/s is kittened. Rifle is ez decap and is far superior.

Elix gun shouldn’t be used either. I c how stun break + heal can be helpful…. but not worth it. You need the CC and stun break isn’t as good when using melandru.

Big bomb is so ez to dodge, block, blind, invuln, evade etc. ANY ranger thief or guardian worth anything would never get hit by it.
FT on the other hand is lower cd and has no animation until after the CC.

Dying to a mesmer 1v1 shouldn’t happen. I don’t. I can’t full cap very well due to the amount of pressure being put out but if I kite off point (after decap) its easy to survive forever in that 1v1. At the very least Ill win that over time.

Thieves are still the main and only issue. Not in the 1v1 sense but that they alone can rotate back quickly enough to make my attempt useless.

don’t bother explaining it, 1 knock back is all you need to be called a decap engineer now days, ive been playing HGH zerker and im still apparently a decap engineer even though my only knock back is from the rifle.

Well technically I’m a “top 500 staff bunker ele” as you just said because I got to top 500 solo queueing team queue for champion magus on a staff bunker ele and I tell you what “Insane” is probably the last word I would use to describe it.

Same results can be found by just hitting team queue by yourself. It’s redundant/pointless and if it was used it would just say something like “LFG TEAM QUEUES NO ELE”

Solo queueing in team queue needs to stay unless they can give us a choice to avoid skyhammer

Solo queue is bad, hotjoins are more fun than solo queue right now because I can actually choose not to play skyhammer and spirit watch.

I actually reckon capricorn would fit better in solo queue than skyhammer
