For those that are getting hit with large Kill Shot numbers, you probably had stacks of Vulnerability on you as well as the warrior having used their Signet.

Yea I have gotten poisoned at water camp from a treb and was still in combat and poisoned by the time I reached NE camp. And I’m a warrior whose condi removal is cleansing ire and apparently burst skills don’t clear condis if you’re OOC.

1. stand in camp – if he runs away your problem is solved
2. if he is running away he isn’t getting bloodlust bonus
3. if he runs way your problem is solved. besides all spawn areas have 3 exits
4. any class can do that.
5. all warriors should be banner ressing the lord if they can. other classes can do the same.

Thieves are just as fast or faster than warriors. If either run from you – who cares? You just stopped them from doing something. You win.

The question that should be asked is: Why are you trying to chase one guy? Seriously?

If you really want to use a shatter build, I suggest Osicat’s Shatter heavy 3.0 build.

It is affecting all blink/teleport effects including thieves. Anet is aware.

I would say Null Field > Feedback due to the fact that most zergs run Guardians and Warriors and ripping stability off them is important.

That’s killing me I love conditions builds, such as Blackwater’s and Contition Cat, but I keep going back to Blackdevil’s Hybrid for the centaur runes. (and it’s also a awesome build, but i feel it’s not as strong as conditions pu builds are against BS thiefs, what is kind of important to my at the moment).

What do u condition mesmers do? I thought about put centaur runes even if the stats it provides are completely useless for a condition build, but I felt it would just make the build inviable with 1400ish condition damage.

Use Traveler runes instead of Centaur for Blackwater.

I still hate losing my charged mantra when I go into or out of the water and it isn’t on both bars.

Shatter isn’t as strong as it used to be because of nerfs (Blurred Frenzy), the current condition meta and almost all WvW players running toughness now. The typical shatter build doesn’t really have room for condition removal either.

People still run it but it isn’t as strong or popular as it once was.

Does anyone have a good Long Bow build for WvW? Possibly Long Bow with Sword/Sword?

I also have Berzerker’s armour and trinkets, melandru runes, zerker long bow, rabid swords.

Question about a warrior’s Piercing Shot – does is only hit players in between you and your target or does it also hit players on the other side of your target to?

I got my warrior to lvl 80 three or four nights ago and have been playing this build in WvW since. It’s lots of fun. I’m going to try the 0/25/25/0/20 variant as well.

Also I love when my Torment hits and my opponent takes 12k damage. Thieves lolol.

I honestly would never play my mesmer in WvW or PvE if I had to open my inventory to click something every 15 seconds.

I admit that it is slightly annoying. However as already suggested, you can keep your inventory open and move it to the bottom right side of your screen so only the first couple of inventory slots shows (it does cover some of the map unless you move your map).

The extra bonus is you can provide 33% swiftness 100% of the time for 5 players.

Rune of Centaur + Mantra = Permanent Swiftness.

For WvW:

Rune of Centaur + Exotic Cold Potion = Permanent Swiftness.

Or this, especially with some boon duration. Plus, you never have to waste a heal or mantra.

I’m new to Warrior and I’m looking for the meta Zerker Warrior build for Fractals.

Can someone link it please? Thanks.

It all stems from high-level Fractals where maximum toughness and maximum vitality won’t save you. What does save you is high DPS where you kill the boss before your group runs out of cooldowns or makes a mistake – which can happen when the fight is prolonged.

Not a fan of Celestial for any class.

Your illusions won’t take advantage of effects like health steal.

I was thinking that maybe just crafting that one piece of ascended that is better than it’s exotic version for each build.

For example, the Berserker’s legs are the only piece that have 1% more crit than the exotic version. Maybe starting there and crafting that one piece and leave the rest as exotic.

Then if you play the Blackwater PU condition build, then create the one piece that seems to give the most stats (if there is one).

Sword/Sword and Sword/Focus is what I use mostly in Fractals. I will sometimes switch out one for Pistol. I only use a Greatsword on a few bosses (final dredge boss, thermareactor boss, molten duo and jade maw) because most don’t want to melee them.

Yeah ascended armour has been out for a bit now and while I have been using my daily cooldowns, I haven’t actually decided what I might craft yet. The thought of crafting celestial armour (okay at everything, great at nothing) doesn’t really thrill me and as a WvW’r and PvE’r, ascended was the worst thing Anet could have done.

I’m thinking Berzerker which would cover PvE and which could be mixed with ascended trinkets for variations in WvW. This would cover most all except condition builds which I also like.

Has anyone thought on what they are going to craft or have crafted already and why?

Furious Interruption and Mirror of Anguish are both terrible. Mantra Mastery and Bountiful Interruption would be better choices in my opinion.

Staff is a close to mid range weapon. It is more powerful the closer you are to your opponent.

mesmers have one of the highest, if not the highest, skill ceiling in GW2. but it can get mentally tiring playing mesmer, and no matter how you build you will always have a weakness. when your brain needs a break, play warrior. warriors have no weakness. high damage, high armor, condi clearing, stability, cc’s, healing, mobility, team support….. i played my warrior several hours yesterday because my brain needed a break from mesmer. my mesmer would beat my warrior 1v1 though, except my warrior could just run away and the mesmer would never catch him.

I would argue Engineers and Elementalists are harder to play than a Mesmer.

The improovement they did in armor its a joke.

What I am saying is that the difference in stats is minimal. If they made ascended gear have much more significant stats than exotics then you would have to make them to remain competitive. Right now, it’s not a huge improvement in stats.

I would rank Ele’s higher in a zerg than Mesmer’s. A zerg only needs 1 or 2 Mesmer’s. Ele AOE is much better for backline.

No mesmer in his right mind has Moa Morph on the skill bar in WvW. It’s useful against exactly one player, has a long and easy to see wind up that can be interrupted, and a long cool down.

Sword/Sword on grp pulls is fine. iSwordsman being in range of the party also grants AOE healing. The block on OH sword is great as is the daze which is also useful on a grp. However, IWarden is boss (when it works, thanks Anet for nothing) and while iWarden is AOE’ing, it is also reflecting projectiles.

I only find GS useful on a few fights – Jade Maw, Molten bosses, final Dredge bosses

I use staff most in WvW. However I use Sword in PvE. I don’t really like the look of Bolt though. I believe Anet did mention new legendaries are coming but who knows.
