No I mean that I enter the password correctly and the next time I have to re-type it. It doesn’t remember my saved password.

Since the last patch, the Guild Wars 2 Launcher won’t remember my password. I have checked it then unchecked it then checked it again but it will remember my account name but not my password.

Haven’t seriously played my warrior for a while now but I’m wondering if someone could link me what the typical hammer build would be in WvW for group 5-10 or possibly larger?

Previously I used 2/0/6/0/6 with stabilities. Not sure if a Shout build would be better or not.

Celestial is good on classes that can solo stack might like eles, warriors and engies. Not so great for Mesmers.

Mesmer sword #2 in zerg = dead, ever since they changed Sword #2 from Invuln to Evade.

Some classes like Mesmers do benefit from Crit in their Condi builds where they often trait their clones to cause bleeds on crit. Also, Condi in and against zergs is simply not as effective as power based builds.

It should be noted that the only reason Assassin’s is better in a meta party is because you’re approaching a soft-cap on Power with the extra might stacks.

This shouldn’t be an indication to “Switch to Assassins”, but rather a “Switch a few pieces and/or food until youre below the power softcap”. Some combination of Zerks+Assassins will undoubtedly be better in this instance.

What is the softcap?

There is no ‘softcap’ on Power. Power is linear and the reason to use Assassins is to cap Crit to 100% for reflect damage.

Yes, Ranger runes work with clones and phantasms. They also work with mini-pets and I believe this was an intended change. I don’t see Anet reversing this just to nerf specific runes for some classes. It’s not like if you use a mini you get more benefit from these runes than a class that uses a pet. Besides, any class can use a mini.

Sure Marks are great and Wells when fighting large groups are fine but but the necro class isn’t really a support class. Probably the best way to support is to go full DPS power or condie and using well placed fears.

Find small ledge, wait for zerg, put wall on ledge, collect bags.

Make sure to take Terror IX in the Curses traitline so your fears do damage otherwise you won’t get bags.

IIRC, the problem with Traveler Runes on a Ranger is that they speed you up but not your pet.

You don’t put a collar on one and name it sparky.
They are not pets, they are minions.

I like using spectral walk > spectral grasp > then jumping off eotm then using spectral walk again to live while my opponent falls into the void.

Yeah, I wonder if you have 3 illusions out, will you automatically get 3s of invuln or will it be 1s start each time the illusion shatters?

This buffs condie 1v1 PU build which really wasn’t needed. What IS needed is a buff to Mesmer builds such kittenter or AoE Glamour builds that can be useful in zerg vs zerg.

Scepter did need a buff but this will just give PU more hate.

Mimic won’t really be for PvE anyways.

Torment will never be put on any auto attack lol.

I really only play my mesmer for portals during guild puzzles.

The Necro class is a pretty ‘selfish’ class that really brings nothing to the party compared to other classes.

Great vids! My only suggestion is to stop using Bandicam as it’s not that great. try Open Broadcasting Software (OBS) instead. Way more options and you can save as video or stream to Twitch.

You cannot compare minion damage to Mesmer Phantasms. Most of the damage from Mesmers is from their Phantasms. And right now, the Mesmer profession is in a horrible state.

You won’t lose Bloodlust stacks underwater if you have also have sigil on one of your underwater weapons.

A Warrior is just a better Ranger with no bad pet.

PVE + Condie = no bueno

Be careful with using WvW badges to purchase armour or weapons as these cannot be salvaged if you want to remove any expensive runes or sigils you might put into them. You buy extractors in the gem store but that costs gold/$$.

Rabid PU build is entirely viable for roaming.

The 5% difference is fine and helps the role of the class in being at the front of where the damage is. The problem is some classes like mesmer & ranger don’t seem to have much of a role to play in larger ZvsZ gameplay.

You don’t have to waste using your mantra heal – just use any tonic like an exotic Cold Potion for example. The #6 ability to un-transform is the same as the #6 heal so you get swiftness without wasting a heal.

Add boon duration and you can maintain 100% swiftness with centaur runes.

I almost exclusively played my Mesmer during the first year or so of this game. With the ongoing nerfs, bugs to the Mesmer and power creep to most other professions, Mesmer isn’t that fun to play anymore.

I now switch between Warrior, Necro and Ranger mostly.

I do play my Mesmer when we do guild puzzles for portals to those that can’t jump lol.

Why do you need a ‘main’ in this game? Clearly different professions excel at different aspects of the game.

Becoming more and more irrelevant. With the removal of Raid on Capricorn and the removal of most of the water from the WvW borderlands maps, it seems underwater combat is now just an afterthought.

this is why i think online game should be linux based not based on msdos made by microsoft. with microsoft you have to always worry about viruses, spyware, malware, and loopholes within a poorly constructed code. with linux there is hardly any worry any of those kinda things it runs like a tank even these days. i’m sorry i just had to mention that cause i’ve seen this kinda thing happen too many times in gw1 and now it looks like its gw2 as well i do hope you guys can bust that sob thats doing this to this game and fix the problem ty.

This has nothing to do with Microsoft. This is a DDoS attack. It’s basically causing more traffic then the Internet ‘pipes’ can hold resulting in lag, delays, unable to login, etc.

I wasn’t sure about Troll Unguent being an effective heal with no healing power. I like Warhorn for the Swiftness and the Blast Finisher, especially into Healing Spring but I may give dagger a try.

I also don’t want to lose my 25% swiftness from Signet of the Hunt. I cant play WvW anymore without swiftness after playing a Mesmer for so long.
