client lags man. voip should have its own memory space.
This is one of the best ways to climb Leaderboard. If you want that too, make a 5 engis premade team with Teamspeak and do the same. This game is about easy to play mechanics, with low risk and high reward; if you wish to win with something else, you are in the wrong game. That’s the way the cookie crumbles.
That shouldn’t be how you win or get ranks. PvP even PvE should NOT have one build that determines whether or not you win or lose. I played gw1 for 7 years, and this game for almost 3. I know what game it is, I also know in order to have a truly fair environment there shouldn’t be only one way to win and do well.
gw1 was just like this. they promoted a single trinity group build with monks, control chars (mesmer/ranger/gale eles) and warriors on gvg (spearheaded by the korean guilds who shined with it) and all the viable other builds (fotms like IWAY, ranger/necro/ele spike, RaO way, dervway, etc) nerfed to death until that single build was played over and over again. even the fotms in tombs (vimway, monk spike, hexway etc) were nerfed to death.
promoting a template honor build is bad for the game. lots of nerfs to multitudes of viable builds are lost. we need more fotms. (flavors of the month).
don’t let the gw1 mistake happen in gw2. don’t nerf that garbage and let some theory crafter find counter to that. if it fails, stronghold will be the key.
i wish the wingspan should be a lil longer and has tails.
gw1 monk version 2.0?
i didn’t like the actual graphics of the glider. i hope they will make it like this
this beta is over.
this is why we need stronghold as the new pvp focus in the game. capture points allow that garbage to happen.
revenant will get owned in spvp capture points. but if what im thinking will push through (stronghold 8v8 with guild ladder just like in gw1), revenants will shine.
ud titles will become a pve title.
this condi stacking and superb condi cleanse of revenants. sounds like a good balance to me.
/no sarcasm.
send me an invite. i wanna get a precursor.
what i want for HoT release are more stronghold like maps, making it a separate gamemode of 8v8 and a guild ladder based on this gamemode.
probably they are hinting about this because of the guild hall? lets see.
it’s a beta test for a demo guys. demo is just the tip of the iceberg.
i hope they will make an item in gemstore which eats the refined dragonite, empyreal and bloodstones.
i wanna unlock fellblade for my wardrobe. this is a bummer.
(6) use “I Will Avenge You” if downed allies are nearby

yes there was no stronghold in the beta test but ive seen the map being played in youtube and kinda reminded me of the good old gvg in gw1. map is too big and i think that it will accomodate 3 more players. suggestion is that make it 8v8 and separate it from the capture point map and make it a new gamemode. let the capture points be 5v5 and stronghold be 8v8. and develop more stronghold like maps with varied objectives. and bring back the guild ladder based on this stronghold gamemode.
NEVER IN PVP RELATED CONTENT!!!
If when I was on my condi Ranger and could kill anyone in an instant with more than 7 stacks of bleed on them and you want to break the cap, how do you suppose this will affect the overall damage dealt?
It will be overpowered and it will be near to inescapable.
do you know that 100 stacks of bleed can be cleansed instantly?
they could go on with the plan and buff condi cleanse skills.
we need build diversity. let the condi stacking be viable. we only have dps zerker build atm as the meta.
you guys overreacting. revenants will still be owned in spvp capture points. sure they will be a good utility in wvw groups but its a new class with something new in the table.
keep the revenant as it is. don’t do the same mistakes you did with the dervish class in gw1, where it was nerfed, and nerfed again after it was newly released.
fps issues. running 40 fps at medium low settings.
i loved the revenant. meant for pve and wvw.
at capture points spvp, revs will be owned. but stronghold and wvw, they will shine.
revs are meant for pve and wvw.
try reinstalling the whole client
your server becomes number 1 because of ppt, not fights.
this is pug mander cannibal hell of bana and i want to thank all my followers by creating a rap for them.
No white swords just pushed the WvWvW level of gameplay to the next higher level.
i just wanna know Wubwub’s from ApEX guardian build.
just saying hi to gaile gray. you were a part of my guild wars 1 fun experience.
capes worked good in guild wars 1 because there was no jump. wonder how they do capes with characters that can jump/jump maneuver on air.
IWAY was a build that I played in Guild Wars 1. It stands for “I Will Avenge You!”, a skill that generates health and attack speed when activated in the presence of dead allies. But IWAY became synonymous to a build which was ran with 4 warriors, 2 ranger trappers and 2 backline necromancers.
Though it was just a game, real life philosophies can be derived there.
1.) Chaos being a weapon. When the offensive trappers spread conditions and knockdowns in the mid line of the enemies, they don’t cause them to ball up and they just spread out. This is an opportunity for the warriors to pick them one by one. The philosophy that can be thought of here is that we need chaos to destabilize a firm and sturdy enemy. Mind games and rumor mongering and false information can cause a team to be fragmented. Then after fragmentation happens, deploy your DPS your offense. Remember, chaos breaks down a united front then after it is broken down, you can do the finishing moves to get your goal.
2.) Offense is the best defense. Defense requires attrition. Defense requires time. Defense requires training. So much resources wasted on defense that a great offense which can shatter a great defense is often overlooked. The cycle of human life ends on death. And offense leads to the death of enemies. In Guild Wars 1, IWAY group build was stacked up with offense in a way that fights can just go on for a few minutes. Speed and precision is key. A good offense minimizes the use of precious time and trains important virtues such as punctuality and conciseness.
3.) Out of the box thinking. The builds in Guild Wars 1 always consisted of 2 monk backline and 6 something else. In IWAY build, we used 2 necromancers to generate the same effect. But it was so good because of Soul Reaping, a trait which generate energy when an enemy or an ally dies. Since IWAY build revolves on offense, or deaths being generated or incurred, the use of Necromancers proved to be very symbiotic to the rest of the builds classes. See let’s not box our minds into a template. Going out of the box might be the key to generating new ideas or solving old problems.
That’s all. Remember, IWAY is a way of life.
In line with this post, I would like to start a petition to bring back “I Will Avenge You!” skill on warriors, which can be used during the beta weekends, and is currently used by an NPC in PVE.

key farming was an exploit.
this is why communism is good
there’s no issue about them. it’s working as intended.
bump from a guildie,
assembly
you don’t follow a tag. you follow the name of the commander.
they could implement airships easily as weve seen flying hacks before.
level 80 scroll is reasonable for loyal Tyrians.
We know we are getting a few more basic colors. But I have a great suggestion A.NET that will work on your favor and is reasonable to players like me.
Via gems, we can unlock extra colors for our tags. Working like the dye system, our tags can be of all the possible color palettes.
So if i want an illumination color tag. or blood tag. or charcoal tag, i can freely use 800 gems to unlock it.
Cool?
if they could drop their legendaries when dead, then its cool.
My two cents…
I had a thief backstab me for 2700… A warrior hundred blade me for 1200… normally I just laugh and walk away…
Post gear and build please.
how do i take a screen shot without my skill bar and other ui?

GvG in Guild Wars 1 nowadays (and before mostly) is “3-2-1 spike”.
Then the monk use prot and infuse heals.
It’s boring. IWAY made it better.
and they killed IWAY. so GW1 is kitten at the moment.
this thread is full of crap. i bought 2 chiroptophobia skins and used them on my 2 chars and didn’t get a refund.
we have seen flying hacks so airplanes in game as mounts is possible.
