GvG has to level up from the outdated and ancient gvg that is of gw1. WvWvW GvG 20-20 could work if they get their own instance and side objectives.
How is going from a complicated arena 8v8 system with multiple objectives (borrowing elements from deathmatch, ctf, base defense, conquest, etc) on large maps to a 20v20 deathmatch in a circle “leveling up”?
You can call it what you want but Gw1 GvG and the zergmatchs in WvW are two completely beasts that do not share any elements in common. Comparing the two modes is absolutely ridiculous (which is why it’s ridiculous to name the format in GW2 “GvG”)
its not complicated. what made it complicated is thakittens clunky, not user friendly though there were easy to run fotm gimmick builds such as iway. not fluid. you can’t even dodge. it’s based on the olden concept of trinity. you have to spike to kill. it’s formulaic. you have to perform a certain way to win. usually those who master this becomes the top team. if you look gw1 now, it’s filled with players who have played from when the top koreans and americans left. the skill ceiling aka “wasted time to master” is that high because it is not casual friendly.
wvwvw GvG is promising because it won’t be only death match if they are given their exclusive arena with secondary objectives. it could be zerg fest. but with secondary objectives, it will be played with splits or with tactics.

Yes, minipets are useless. A.NET gave those who bought Gems since release 2 green useless minipets. And now, for the 1st year anniversary, another useless minipet.
What do minipets do? they just occupy instance space. Gives you title. That’s it. Or some cost zillion gold, but you won’t get that variety.
So i thought, how could anet make a minipet useful.
Say we could put 4 minipets on the mystic forge and it will give a cool weapon with cool skin. or 10 dyes. or t7 materials. or prolly a precursor? or a permanent food buff?
AKA useful stuffs.

i faced a warrior running Super PAX build as a spirit ranger. He aoed my spirits, stunned me with his hammer attacks and his damage hit hard.
So i know what the PAX petting zoo runners felt when they faced Super.
dead spirits everytime via lb attack or some aoe means 3 skill slots wasted.
i face warriors with Super’s build and my spirits get kitten d and i get kitten d.
Petting Zoo is not OP. Super’s warrior build is OP.
So TC > CC > SYNC > AL?
aka EU > NA?

There are times when you are 100-270 and you still pull a 500-475 win. /Resign are for bad players.
Maybe you haven’t noticed…the top NA team SYNC going to PAX is running two spirit rangers. I’m sure they are great players…but that should just speak for itself how OP they are in multiple situations.
Vyndetta mains a ranger. I don’t know Twerp but most likely he mains it too. They gotta play the most comfortable working build in the meta.
If spirit rangers are op, they could carry a team and win everytime. It’s most likely that you faced a bad team or with other competent players.
i just noticed that everyone in LA has drawn weapons. What’s the deal with this? is this part of a protest like the naked charrs?
how about delete all other classes but warrior and all warriors have same specs, build and equipment and those who have the best internet wins?

I actively play soloqueue and its like a chance game. I get a good team and a good win or I lose very hard (https://dviw3bl0enbyw.cloudfront.net/uploads/forum_attachment/file/97463/gw015.jpg). my worst soloqueue session is 10 loss streak. And i have my win streaks too.
So question, are you actively playing it? At what leaderboard rank to you gravitate into?

thanks cymerdown. but right clicking is how i acquire my target. its easy on my mouse setup. but my question is how to stick to it with everything that you have to do (team fight, ai clutter, etc)?
prolly practice on no misclicking the ground perhaps? or is there such a way to lock the aimed target with all the dodging that you do etc etc?
i usually do like this.
i right click to target and hold right click and do as usual. but as a mouse player and i can’t hold right click for long coz i have to maneuver the mouse etc. so is there any efficient ways to do it?

So i’ve been watching GW2PVP tv and one thing that i notice is that they can maintain a single target amidst of all the dodges, movements, multiple people and ai that are cluttering. How do you do this? I face a fellow spirit ranger and sometimes i lose because i couldnt maintain a target on the ranger itself. i dodge and i lose it or it switches to the spirit. or the nearest pet. and when its team fight, i have to click and reclick and reclick or spam T just to maintain the target coz i keep on losing it.

their enemies were not that good compwise and team wise. and he didn’t face on 1v1 a great bunker engi, a bunkery stunlock war, or a skilled bunker guard, or a permaevade bunker decap thief. Or a kittening meta necro. 2 of them to be exact.
