Nike is a shoe. 90% of players wear them and run ooc when they get below 50% health because they think if they die in a game they might actually die IRL.

Here is to hoping that they fix Dragons Tooth before the launch of the expansion after Heart of Thorns!

Its not bugged, the ability doesn’t require line of sight, it just requires you to be able to target a person or object.

Dragons Tooth should be checked by Line of sight. Dragons Tooth or any other skill from players for that matter should go off on a player that is “safe” behind their walls, out of Line of sight. Be it a bug or an exploit, it should be looked into.

I posted these in one of the past AC threads that got locked but the wonderful wvw community basically told me it was a l2p issue I was having..

People that are toxic to new players have probably been toxic to players in the past.. Its in their blood.

Bot Farmers.

If you watched the stream they said they have been beefing up their bot detection technology. Now if you believe them or not that is up to you.

I assume you’re not in the IT field, but these technologies improve on both sides at the same time. When they beef up their bot-detection softwares, at the same time the ones who write bot programs can do the same and write code that will bypass the detectors’ improvements.

Now, with a subscription\purchase system, using a bot to actually test these improvements is dangerous an could cost an account. That’s why generally people who goldsell and do that stuff will hack another user’s credentials.

With this Free system it becomes more convenient for the botters to test their products using one of these free accounts, the programmers can check how long their products can cheat the system and act accordly, allowing them to actually ‘field test’ their stuff. (Bots follows patterns and bot dectectors I guess will examine such patterns.) Even if the botters won’t write improvements, they can just let their bot running and then upgrade the accounts that ‘survive’ for $10 and make money out of it.

Also, I don’t think the detectors programs can keep whole servers under surveillance 100% of the time, it would be a massive use of resources and consequent lag.

It’s not about trusting or not trusting them, it’s about knowing how things go in this specific field.

Just cause you think I’m a kid doesn’t mean I don’t know how things work. I even did some programming back in the good old days of AoL. I actually worked with computers/networking for over 13 years. Every game has botter’s but it has to do with the company stopping them.. Have I ever seen a bot in this game? No not personally so in a way I feel they have done a good job so far. Other games you can spot the bots right away pretty much.

I’m pretty sure they will try and be one step ahead of the bots.

I could even give you more detailed reasons about mine, and others, discontent about the game. But it would be wasted on someone whom sensibilities allow him to disregard others’ opinions by cheesy statements.

The forum may be full of grumpy people in your eyes, in mine it’s better to look grumpy than to look that cheap thing of being whom believes that a cheesy phrase and him believing to be cool would entitle him everyone’s attentions and admiration.

Well since you uninstalled the game already there is no need to keep coming here to the forums to spread your negative out look on things.

As an owner of a paid account, and believing that my feedback could reach other like minded voices so to be heard better by ANet, I think I have every right to come to the forums and express my opinion. First: I have provided no positive feedbacks because, from my point of view, there’s nothing to be positive about. ANet is completely ignoring the Veteran Players to lure more newcomers to purchase the game. Yet to those Veteran Players has been asked to display their love for a game that doesn’t love them back and to purchase the Expansion for an insanely high price considering the content. I can’t be positive about this, I don’t feel I should be positive about this, I’m not the only one feeling like this.

Second: I suppose your father has raised you poorly then, if you are not aware\able to understand that older and more mature people could find your insistence bothersome. If you’re unable to realize when somone says you that there’s nothing more worth to be said between you and the aforementioned someone, then I’m sorry for your parent.

How mature must you be to call my parents out for some trolling that I’m doing on some forums to some player that claims he quit yet hangs around these forums like this game is his life.. Putting restrictions on free accounts doesn’t matter one iota, every game that has gone F2P instantly becomes overrun with shouty little children, angsty, angry teenagers and bots.

This is the death knell for GW2.

Some of the arrow cart skills ignored line of sight and the rest were too forgiving with their line of sight calculations. Ohh again with this been a problem for 3 years post.. Camera changes are not even a year old. Yes certain people have been doing it for years but it became a major issue when the camera changes came into play and everyone could now do it.

Well my server has been high for the past 3 weeks yet outnumbered. I came here to say that didn’t make sense since we’ve been outnumbered by medium servers.. Now my server shows as medium as of today..

So looks like the status does change even though I came here to say it didn’t seem to be working as it should.

First off, you clearly didn’t read. Only one server (per region) would get ‘destroyed’ a year not every single community.

I have a hard time reading since hooked on phonics didn’t work for me but when I see ideas that would destroy any communities I will disagree with them.. Ever been on a server that is considered dead and try to help rebuild it? If not maybe you should try some lower tiers and see what its like. I feel like for the past year we have been trying to rebuild but every server around us gets transfers yet guilds just leave us.. Its not an easy thing to do..

Its a beta. You are suppose to be testing it out. Not worrying about your inventory space, bank or loot that gets dropped. Everything you asked for would probably take months to implement into the beta that will be useless and wasted time when the beta is over and done with.

They did it the simplest way in my eyes. Gave you gear that you can pick your stats on. The left over gear you can just delete. Same with the runes.. I deleted and recreated toons several times. I never even went to my bank once on my beta toons or touched the mystic forge.. I was too busy trying the new stuff out to worry about anything you posted about.

My server (very high EU) usually crushes any of the two we’re up against during EU prime, so we’ve got ~300-600 PPT for a few hours, afterwards we lose everything as the other servers have got their early morning Karma trains and we have around 3-20 people on all maps from 2 am until 9 pm the next day. But anet can’t say: “Lets make this server medium, they’ve got no night shift” as maybe all of those who’d sign up would be prime time players as well.
And I got to this server when they were “high” btw. I don’t really care about the ratings, all servers I’ve been to had times in which no one was online; I’m used to it.

I clearly stated we have been outnumbered during prime time for a few weeks now by medium servers so not sure what you are talking about not having a night shift has anything to do with the status of the servers. I could care less about scores, winning or losing but to be considered high yet be pretty much the lowest populated server for a few weeks now tells me something is wrong..

Ctrl-t is the default. If they stealth though you lose the target.

Your standard dagger/dagger elementalist traited for water magic and running cantrip utilities and Ether Renewal has some insane condition removal. Ether Renewal all by itself will remove 9 conditions (8 from the skill itself and another 1 from the cantrip trait giving you regeneration boon at the end) and the water magic trait reduces it’s cooldown to about 14 seconds. On top of that, all of your utilities will remove a condition when used. And if that isn’t enough, if you have Arcana traited as well, you lose a condition or two when you switch attunements to water magic and Dagger 5 in water magic will cleanse yet another condition. Evasive Arcana will cleanse a condition when you dodge in water attunement too.

With that much condition removal, there really isn’t any class in the game that can win against you with condition damage.

If you ask me. You need to push your recalculate/refresh/re-something button since medium servers are now getting transfers and out numbering high status servers..

For 3 weeks now we been outnumbered by medium servers.

I’m NA. Currently T6 but have been T5 past few weeks. Same results in both tiers. Outnumbered most of the day and even at prime time. My server status is high and there is no way we are ever going to get transfers since it costs more gems to transfer to high. Who would transfer to a high server for more gems that gets beat by medium servers? LOL

Only thing I fear is going to happen is people will now stack on medium servers since its cheaper and basically steam roll everyone they face until they hit a wall up in the higher tiers. Once that wall is hit they may transfer back down to do it all over again on a new server.
